A reason to stay
As you all may know Zane sometimes comes off as cold and distant. A lack of memories and social awkwardness would do that. As a result of this he struggles to make new friends but has managed to make a few close friends like Wolfie and Tazz. There is one friend who he met that his life would completely change. One day while hanging out with his Weapons maker Wolfie a friend of his, a green wolf named Frankly would come over and the two would hit it off.  Frankly would quickly become Zane’s best friend and the two would talk everyday. He would begin to feel something completely foregn to him. Sometime when they talked his augmented heart would race and he’d feel floaty. He began to love this strange feeling the more he talked to Frankly and would even ask his brother Switch who is also a biological protogen. The younger protogen would be equally confused. Zane would begin to think of the necklace he wore all he knew of its origin was a friend from his past life who gave it to him. Zane always got turned on from thinking about this red and black wolf who was also male so he knew he was gay when he had the ability to feel attraction. Was it possible this other wolf was a boyfriend in zanes old life before his first death and rebuilding? The more he thought of him he would begin to get that fluttery feeling… was this love? Could he feel love with a lack of proper emotions sometimes? He began to soon realize he would feel this feeling when he saw Frankly he knew he had what was called a crush. That determined something about himself. Despite having reproductive organs he would’nt ever reproduce he was gay for sure as no female of any species he’d encountered gave him this feeling. He would continue to ignore it, not knowing what to do in life. The two would hang out more and more and Zane would become more and more awkward. It was until Frankly said that Zane was his best friend that he decided to try to explain his feelings to his new best friend. “Frankly I have to tell you something” he said and Frankly surprised at the suddenly serious tone of Zane’s mechanical voice asked what he wanted to tell him. Zane took a deep breath and told him how he’s never felt that way since his rebirth. Much to Zane’s surprise frankly smiled and said nothing at first. Zane was about to regret his decision until Frankly admitted he does find Zane attractive. The two would scoot closer and just sit together for a while before they decided to talk more personally. They talked about dreams and pasts and Zane explained his past life and rebirth as best as he could. Frankly just listened and they decided to call it a day. They talked more that night over the phone and decided to try to talk more with their mutual crushes and stuff. Until one day after a bunch of conversations that were very nsfw they both realized something. Or at least Zane did. He was in love he would ignore it and keep talking until he decided to ask “hey Frankly are we in love?” Frankly would say something along the lines of he thinks so. They would plan on meeting in person and trying to go on a date and they picked dinner at Zane’s favorite restaurant. They realized they were indeed falling for each other and decided to try to spend the night together. After some cuddling and some other things (hehe) realized they were indeed in love. The rest is history Zane and Frankly would move in together and became inseparable and the two travel and explore together now. Even with the massive attraction the two share they always prefer snuggling and cuddles over 69 just to show the love they feel for each other. The end!
