His gaze drifted lower, lingering on Finnian's feet, surprisingly delicate and elegant despite their strength, feet he could spend hours massaging, tracing the arches with his thumbs. The perfection of them, their stillness, gave way to sorrow, allowing his rational mind to slowly resurface moments before making contact. He asked himself, \"What the fuck am I doing?\" and took a few steps back, finally feeling the weight of his actions settling heavily upon him. Poor bastard, he wanted him so much in life, that he even craved him in death!\n\nBarnaby proceeded to collect the bed sheet and used it to cover Finnian's body that was exposed to the cold air. \"I'm very sorry\" he said, lowing his gaze in shame.
