The yoga instructor's smile turned into a grin as soon as she set her first hoof on the exercise ball. While Singularity was still struggling to get her other hooves on it for her balancing exercise, he reached into his pocket and brushed his thumb over the small device hidden there.
Singularity looked back as she had both her forehooves on the ball, her hind legs still on the floor. "I don't see how this will lead to a quieter mind..."
"If you cannot find a balance of the body, you cannot find a balance of the mind," the instructor spoke, trying to suppress his anticipation.
"I guess that makes sense," Singularity sighed, looking back at the ball and using her wings to pull her hind quarters up on it with the rest of her.
Almost immediately she seemed to fall further forward, but she stuck her tail out back and gave a flap of her wings to push herself back while moving her hooves apart a bit for a better spread of her weight on top of the ball.
"Yes, good," the instructor spoke softly, pressing a button on his control box. "Now find your balance and clear your mind. Focus on the ball and on keeping your balance. No other thoughts matter. Do not think of the air against your skin, tingles running through your form, or anything else you feel. Your body is not important. It is your mind and the balance within that you need to focus on."
Singularity struggled with the idea, but tried to do as she was told. Keeping her hooves in place, she simply focused on keeping balance, using small movements from her head, tail, and wings to keep from toppling over.
There was a strange tingle in her hooves, but the instructor had said not to think of it, so she tried to ignore it. A strange pulling sensation slowly crept up her legs, but Singularity banished it from her mind. All that mattered was clearing her mind, keeping her balance. Clearing her mind, keeping her balance.
The tingling continued upwards, and got more and more difficult to ignore. It spread out from her legs across her chest, upwards along her sides, soon being felt all through her body.
Finally she jerked as she felt it creep along her nethers, and she turned to look at the instructor, finding him standing there with an evil grin on his face. A moment of confusion quickly made way to fear as she realized her body was being covered by a shiny film, and Singularity's mind skipped from trying to maintain balance to trying to get off of the ball!
She tugged her hooves up, but the ball clung to them as if they were a part of it! She struggled in vain as the material crept up over her tail, over her wings, along her neck to her head, and let out a frightened whinny!
"Oh, don't worry," the instructor coo'd, "you won't be able to lose balance now... or ever again. The ball will keep you balanced, and soon you will not have to think of anything except for how pretty you look."
Singularity whined as the material covered her muzzle, her mouth enclosed by it, her nostrils flaring even as they, too, got closed up by the film. She shook her head quickly even as her wings seemed to shrink, her latex-covered body transforming to get a more toy-like appearance, her cutiemark being replaced by a number; 01. The same number that was on the ball, and had been all along.
As the material flowed over her eyes, the world went dark and Singularity could only whine in silence, her breathing stopping as the material turned her into a solid latex toy. Even so she struggled, trying everything she could think of to get off of the ball.
The instructor looked on as he took a few steps closer, watching her glossy pony form become more solid as time passed by, her struggling becoming less and less.
"You don't have to think anymore, little pony. You will always keep balance, even when pushed about."
He demonstrated by giving Singularity a shove, the pony wobbling in place even as a soft, barely audible whine escaped from within the latex.
The instructor pulled out his control pad and looked at a switch on it. "Oh, don't worry... I think you will enjoy your new life." he flipped the switch over from its normal setting to one marked "XXX", and another whine came from the transforming ponytoy.
He looked on as the latex burrowed its way into the pony's nethers, forming a pair of sleeves inside, ribbed for the toy-to-be's future owner's pleasure. A third sleeve forced Singularity's mouth open in an O-shape, but no sound came from the toy anymore.
Inside the toy's mind, fear and the struggle to retain her individuality, take back her freedom, find some way to undo what was being done to her, had slowly but surely made place for an odd silence. Thoughts would pop up, but drift off before they were fully formed.
All that mattered was to keep balance... everything else had no meaning anymore.
