Resting upon a few chairs in front of the serpentine dragon’s desk, the pearl dragon explained to the trio the details of the job being given to them. We’ve already run through quite a few teams with it, and the mercs haven’t been doing any better with it. \n\n[u]Jasra: [/u]So this guy like…made an even better detection spell? \n\n[u]Salis:[/u] Indeed. We don’t know how, but he’s made one that can work from over 300 feet away. \n\n[u]Elsu:[/u] 300 feet?! Impressive…I thought the maximum detection range was only about half that? Even the best mages have never made something like that. \n\n[u]Salis:[/u] Indeed, but that isn’t all. He likewise seems to have created an on demand teleport that leads him away from the targeted area. Many teams have been trying to capture him and his small group of bandits, but sadly none have met with much success. \n\n[u]Ixen:[/u] And so because no other teams have been able to figure it out, you finally ended up asking us. \n\n[u]Salis:[/u] Precisely. You don’t have to be the ones to do it but-\n\n[u]Jasra:[/u] Nonsense! We’ll do it right, Ixen? She studies the biology of magical creatures. And her expertise is on alchemy magic, not neutral spells. I…while it pains me to say…probably cannot make that shot. \n\n[u]Ixen:[/u] Seriously? You can’t? \n\n[u]Elsu:[/u] 300 feet…that’s a roughly 90 meter shot. While normally it wouldn’t be an issue, with the detection spell, he would be able to see the arrow coming. Plus, with the shield emitter, the shot won’t pierce unless I hit the item that is making the shield. Likely a ring. Hitting a large target from 95 meters or more is one thing. Hitting a target inside a fort to target a single ring on their hand while they can detect the shot is another thing entirely. I’m a professional marksman Ixen, not an auto targeting mechanic. \n\n[u]Jasra: [/u]I’m surprised you knew what an auto targeting mechanic was…\n\n[u]Elsu:[/u] I play games too, you know. \n\n[u]Ixen:[/u] That so? Let me explain…\n\n[b]He then covered the overall briefing to Yori, explaining the detection spell as well as the teleportation that was being used. The explanation seemed to keep her interested, never turning away and listening intently until they were done. \n\nOnce finished, Yori turned away and began thinking to herself intently, before beginning to write out some symbols in the air. The sight of it caused Ixen to smile, confident she already figured out the issue. Once Yori finished, she contained everything into a sphere before tossing it over to Ixen. [/b]\n\n[u]Yori: [/u]There. That should cover the teleportation spell. Just do everything word for word in that sphere and you’ll be able to break it. You’ll need to get close to it though. \n\n[u]Elsu:[/u] Hm…\n\n[u]Ixen:[/u] Nice! Thanks! What about the detection spell? \n\n[b]At this, Yori froze up, her fur beginning to bristle as she looked away from the trio in a form of defiance. [/b]\n\n[u]Yori:[/u] T-that…is beneath me. One shot with this and you have yourself one dead bandit. \n\n[b]While Jasra and Elsu seemed intrigued, Ixen and Yori looked on in skepticism, both of them finding the idea of using the weapon as less than ideal. While Yori was resigned to simply ignoring it however, Ixen quickly voiced his disagreement in the matter, firmly believing in the stance that he and most Edarlians took towards technological advancement.[/b] \n\n[u]Ixen:[/u] Hmph…you missed when I said “captured.” Meaning we can’t kill him. \n\n[b]Yama rolled his eyes at the comment, grumbling to himself about rules and how police in most worlds had so many rules to follow.[/b] \n\n[u]Yama: [/u]Suits…would be much easier to just kill them, but fiiiine. Resting upon a few chairs in front of the serpentine dragon’s desk, the pearl dragon explained to the trio the details of the job being given to them.

Salis: This is the job I was looking to assign to you three. We’ve already run through quite a few teams with it, and the mercs haven’t been doing any better with it.

Jasra: So this guy like…made an even better detection spell?

Salis: Indeed. We don’t know how, but he’s made one that can work from over 300 feet away.

Elsu: 300 feet?! Impressive…I thought the maximum detection range was only about half that? Even the best mages have never made something like that.

Salis: Indeed, but that isn’t all. He likewise seems to have created an on demand teleport that leads him away from the targeted area. Many teams have been trying to capture him and his small group of bandits, but sadly none have met with much success.

Ixen: And so because no other teams have been able to figure it out, you finally ended up asking us.

Salis: Precisely. You don’t have to be the ones to do it but-

Jasra: Nonsense! We’ll do it right, Ixen? I mean…we are the departments’ #1 team and all.

Elsu: Hmm…I suppose we should, but I am not entirely sure…

Ixen: Nah, no worries, we can take it. Should be able to figure it out, easy.

Elsu: That so…?

Salis: You’ll accept? Thank you, on behalf of the department. I know you and your team will figure it out!

Ixen: No problem, sir. Mana bless.

As the trio leave, taking the job briefing with them, Elsu looks over at Ixen, who looks almost smugly confident in his team's ability to finish the job. Jasra was vacant as per usual, no doubt in the same mindset as Ixen, believing their chances to be no less than 100%.

Elsu: You both seem…quite confident. Pray tell…how do you plan to do something so many others have already failed? None of us are any good when it comes to understanding the details of magic like that. And the only one who would, Kianto, is Cultus knows where in Aderon right now.

Ixen: Heh, how soon you forget. We can easily-

Elsu: Ask Nivem? She studies the biology of magical creatures. And her expertise is on alchemy magic, not neutral spells. She won’t have an answer for it.

Ixen: oh, well…even if she did not work, I know another little raunikayle that CAN!

Elsu: Yori? Hmmm….perhaps…but I lack an understanding of her field of study.

Ixen: Yori knows all kinds of stuff when it comes to neutral magic applications, so I’m positive she’ll be able to solve it.

Elsu: And if she cannot?

Ixen: …well…then I can always have you take the shot.

Elsu: I’m just going to nix that one right now. I…while it pains me to say…probably cannot make that shot.

Ixen: Seriously? You can’t?

Elsu: 300 feet…that’s a roughly 90 meter shot. While normally it wouldn’t be an issue, with the detection spell, he would be able to see the arrow coming. Plus, with the shield emitter, the shot won’t pierce unless I hit the item that is making the shield. Likely a ring. Hitting a large target from 95 meters or more is one thing. Hitting a target inside a fort to target a single ring on their hand while they can detect the shot is another thing entirely. I’m a professional marksman Ixen, not an auto targeting mechanic.

Jasra: I’m surprised you knew what an auto targeting mechanic was…

Elsu: I play games too, you know.

Ixen: That so? Next time me and Jas get together to do some matches in Forest Brawler 4: Hyper impact, we should invite you over.

Elsu: I would rather not. Anyway…to Yori yes?

Ixen: Yep! Let’s go then.

The trio made their way to Ixen and Yori’s home, where Yori was busy slaving away on a spell of some sort, sitting at her desk as per usual.

Ixen: Hey, hun! Doing well?

Yori jumped a bit in surprise, seeing Ixen return so soon after having left for the day. The shock passed quickly however, leading her to turn back to her work, ignoring him.

Yori: You’re back? What? Forget something?

Ixen: Nah, nothing like that. I wanted-

It was then he found himself interrupted by Jasra and Elsu.

Jasra: Yori! Been a good while.

Elsu: Yori.

Yori: Jasra? Elsu? …what do you all want?

Ixen: Was just getting to that. Let me explain…

He then covered the overall briefing to Yori, explaining the detection spell as well as the teleportation that was being used. The explanation seemed to keep her interested, never turning away and listening intently until they were done.

Once finished, Yori turned away and began thinking to herself intently, before beginning to write out some symbols in the air. The sight of it caused Ixen to smile, confident she already figured out the issue. Once Yori finished, she contained everything into a sphere before tossing it over to Ixen.

Yori: There. That should cover the teleportation spell. Just do everything word for word in that sphere and you’ll be able to break it. You’ll need to get close to it though.

Elsu: Hm…

Ixen: Nice! Thanks! What about the detection spell?

At this, Yori froze up, her fur beginning to bristle as she looked away from the trio in a form of defiance.

Yori: T-that…is beneath me. I don’t really need to fix something like that.

At this, Ixen’s confident grin quickly vanished as Yori turned away from him. He crossed his arms as he looked at Yori, questioning her immediately.

Ixen: Beneath you…? You just dealt with the teleporter issue. So why is the detection spell beneath you?

Yori: B-because. Only cowards rely on detection spells to save them.

Jasra: She's got a point there!

Elsu: No she doesn't. That's a very close minded viewpoint.

Ixen: Look it doesn’t matter what the viewpoint is. Can’t you just do it this time, Yori? I’m sure someone as smart as you can do it!

Yori: Of course someone as smart as me can do it! It’s me! But just because I can doesn’t mean I will! It’s your job, figure at least something out on your own!

Ixen: You’ll be given credit for helping! Wouldn’t that be incentive enough to help? Praise and admiration from the nobles up at the department?

At this, Yori began to grimace even harder, trying to save face as much as possible in order to defend her stance.

Yori: Y-you know…well…I have my own morals to stick to as well. And my morals say…wasting effort on a detection spell is stupid!

Elsu: But, would you not be countering it…? Therefore proving your point?

Jasra: Not to mention the crystals coming in from solving the department's issue…

Yori: erk…I refuse!

At this, a familiar purple furred creature flew in from the top of the cavern, mumbling to itself about their mood being ruined thanks to a certain reptile. Looking for a chance to relax, they made their way down into the cave, landing in front of the group. Jasra and Elsu noticed immediately, while Ixen and Yori were still focused on one another.

Yama: Umm…

Ixen: You’re not making any sense…come on, hun…

Yori: This kind of thing is beneath my notice! G-go ask someone else to do it! I already helped you enough!

Ixen: But this should be simple for you…

Eventually, Yama made an audible cough, catching the attention of Ixen and Yori, who briefly stopped their minor spat to turn their attention towards him.

Ixen: Ah…Yama…

Yori: Oh, great…more of you…

Yama: Care to tell me…what’s going on?

Ixen: Err…

Yori wasted no time in capitalizing on the sudden cut-off, aiming to take advantage of the brief reprieve that she got from being questioned.

Yori: Yeah. Go ahead. Tell him, Ixen. Tell him how you took on more than what you’re capable of…again! And how you overestimated yourself, AGAIN!!

Ixen: O-oi…first off…this was assigned…and I don’t make a habit of doing that.

Elsu: But…

Jasra: You actually do that a lot. Got us and yourself into a lot of trouble for it too…

Yama: So…what can this non mage help his fellow mage friends with this time, hmmm~?

Ixen: Oh sod off, all of you. Look…here’s the situation. We have a bandit…been causing some issues. We got ASSIGNED a job to deal with it, but he has a custom detection spell and a custom made teleportation spell that makes them difficult to capture. Anyway, once Yori makes a spell for it, we won't need any help. But she refuses to do it.

Everyone once again turned their eyes towards Yori, who unfortunately had everything put on her once more.

Yori: I-I…ugh…whatever. I won't do it because I…well…neutral spells like that aren't part of my area of expertise.

Ixen: Not your…so you don't know how to do it either. Why didn't you just say so?

Yori: As if I'd admit to that…

With that, Ixen sighed, resigning himself to finally accepting that they might not be able to do the job.

Ixen: Haa…I guess we should go back and tell Silas to find Kianto afterall.

Elsu: Finally you accept it. Now, can we can just-

At this, Yama proceeded to smile, giving Ixen a toothy, if cocky grin that immediately put the dragon on the defensive. Relaxing his posture a bit, Yama sat himself down on a nearby stool, before addressing the group.

Yama: So basically you just need someone to help out. Seems simple enough. I have just the trick.

At this, Yama began intricately creating a large gun with a long barrel and scope. The entire process took a fair amount of time, however all present watched intently, albeit with different opinions. Ixen found himself annoyed by it, along with Yori. While Jasra was fascinated, Elsu found himself intrigued by the sight.

Yama: There! And to top it off…a few rounds laced with "that" ore. And this will do the trick. One shot with this and you have yourself one dead bandit.

While Jasra and Elsu seemed intrigued, Ixen and Yori looked on in skepticism, both of them finding the idea of using the weapon as less than ideal. While Yori was resigned to simply ignoring it however, Ixen quickly voiced his disagreement in the matter, firmly believing in the stance that he and most Edarlians took towards technological advancement.

Ixen: Hmph…you missed when I said “captured.” Meaning we can’t kill him.

Yama rolled his eyes at the comment, grumbling to himself about rules and how police in most worlds had so many rules to follow.

Yama: Suits…would be much easier to just kill them, but fiiiine. Tranq rounds then. Those will work, right officer~?

Ixen crossed his arms before tapping his foot on the ground. With a shake of his head, Yama let out an audible sigh.

Yama: What’s wrong now?

Ixen: I’m sorry, but…you expect me to believe that you’re going to solve this issue with a gun…? Some stupid metal object? When we…mages mind you, couldn’t figure it out?

Yama: Mages. Ha! Just sounds like you don't want to take the easy way out.

Ixen: It isn’t taking an easy way out when I know that stupid metal contraption isn’t going to work at all.

Yama: Doubt ye the power of a sniper rifle.

Ixen: A what? No, I doubt the usefulness of a stupid hunk of metal.

Yama: And yet swords.

Ixen: Those have nothing to do with it. Could you stop wasting my time with worthless metal crap and give actual solutions, or are you content to fuck around and suggest more non non magical metal trash?

Yama: Hey, I’m just giving you a solution. Why are you so hostile towards it?

Ixen: Maybe it's because I'm at the end of my rope in having to admit to not being able to do a job while you come here and offer a solution that involves using some stupid fucking metal stick to solve it.

Yama: Not everything has to be solved with magic!

Ixen: Anything that doesn’t is a waste of time!

Yama: Look, You don't want help, fine! I can take it and go.

Ixen: Oh no, stay. You're so confident…how about a bet?

At this, both Yama and Elsu looked at Ixen, though each with very different expressions upon their faces.

Yama and Elsu: A bet?

Ixen: Yeah. Since you seem so confident…let's go with your plan. That way everyone can see your stupid hunk of metal fail when you attempt to try it.

Elsu: Ixen?! Seriously?! Come on…

Yama: …hm…what’s in it for me? Aside from the pleasure of proving you wrong?

Ixen: If that hunk of garbage you're lugging around works, which it won't, then I'll do whatever you want. No questions asked. And no complaints. But when it fails, and it will, you and your little head lamp have to finally agree that magic is superior to your silly "advanced technology" or whatever.

Yama: …anything?

Ixen: Anything.

Yama: You all heard him?

Jasra: Loud and clear.

Elsu: I wish I hadn't…

Yama: Deal then.

Ixen: Good. Let's get going then. I'll set up a port to the general area, so we don't have to walk.

Yama: Hah…lazy as ever.

Ixen: We call it expedient!

At this, Ixen began messing with his ring, while Jasra seemed to mess with his bracer and Elsu, albeit with a deep sigh, fiddled with the clip on his cloak. The latter two ported out, leaving Ixen to grab Yama, whisking the two away in a flash before landing a good ways away from the target. It took a few moments for Elsu and Jasra to appear, the pair of them confused as to why they were so far away from the intended target.

Ixen: Here we are. This is as close as we can get without tripping the spell.

Elsu: Huh? But Ixen, this is-

Before he could finish, Ixen shot the two a withering glance, indicating the two to keep quiet. With an affirmative nod from Jasra, and a disappointed sight from Elsu yet again, the pair followed their leader's order and kept quiet about the situation.

Ixen: Here we go. A little over 200 meters out.

Yama squinted out at the distant rundown fort, the distance making it near impossible to see them without a scope. He soon made himself relaxed however, putting himself into position as he looked out towards the group.


Yama: 200 meters…hm. Alright, as a friend, I'm gonna let you back out of this bet now. This shot is easy.

Shaking his head, Ixen stood his ground, looking at Yama, his confidence never fading once.

Ixen: And turn down the chance to see you embarrass yourself when your useless metal piece of trash fails? Not a chance.

Jasra: Y-you sure? He seems pretty confident.

Ixen: It's misplaced. Now…I'm giving YOU the chance to back out yourself, and just admit that magic is superior like I KNOW it is.

At this, Yama rolled his eyes before shutting the A.I. down, just to further prove his point.

Yama: Alright. You know what? Fuck it. First Ryme then you. I'm sick of it. I tried being nice.

Ixen: Who the heck is Ryme? And what does that have to do with you delaying the inevitable? Hurry up and fail.

Yama: You know what Ixen. You're right. Magic is a great tool. Really versatile. Super useful in most situations.

Ixen: Giving up before you even take a shot huh? I knew you were just bluffing. Let's head-

Yama: But Magic is just that. A tool.

Yama then adjusts a few knobs on his scope. Muttering something about lighter bullets. Planet curve. No wind. Ixen and Jasra watched, not understanding what all Yama was saying to himself, dumbfounded by Yama's muttering. Elsu on the other hand understood perfectly what Yama was doing as he observed intently. Going as far as figuring out the curve surprised him that the pink furball could do those kinds of quick calculations on the spot.

Yama: And you know what Ixen.

Ixen: What? Just hurry up!

Sighing, Yama begins to breathe in, with Elsu waiting with baited breath to see the results. The rifle makes a loud ding as the tranquilizer round flies from the barrel. And only a second later, everyone watched as the bandit leader's shield shattered before limped over, sleeping. They hear Yama exhale before continuing.

Yama: I have never seen a tool. No matter how powerful or grand. Fix every single problem it is presented with.

At that, the three looked on, amazed at what they had witnessed. Without having anything to say, Ixen stood quietly, shifting nervously in place, with Jasra eventually losing it, exclaiming how cool it was. But above all, Elsu, who watched intently to see how it would go, wasted no time in making his way over to the weapon. Up until now, the more level headed insectoid kept himself calm, however as soon as the sight of the weapon’s efficiency was seen, any desire to hold his interest and curiosity back broke down.

Elsu: Fascinating…what was that? The round was obviously made with anti-mana ore…so it broke the shield effortlessly. But to not emit any mana…and from so far away. May I see-

Before Elsu could even grab it, Yama quickly pulled the weapon away, shaking his head in refusal.

Yama: Sorry, but that’s gonna be a hard no. Last thing I need is this getting into the hands of a world that doesn’t understand it. Besides, I turned my partner off to prove a point. I need to get her back online. In the meantime. You three need to round up the lackeys before one of them reveals they can teleport.

Elsu: Are you sure...? A weapon like this is unheard of. This would be such a huge game changer here if we could make it ourselves.

Yama: All the more reason not to let you have it.

With that, Yama quickly proceeded to sit on the weapon, waiting for the A.I. to be back online before absorbing the weapon. With little chance of getting it without force, Elsu sighed dejectedly before accepting the fact that he wouldn’t get to examine the weapon. As he did so, Ixen looked away, still quite nervous and struggling to find something to say in return.

Ixen: Y-yeah…b-because...mmmm....

Jasra: You don't have any legs to stand on now, best just give in.

Ixen: Whatever…anyway…Y-yama is right. We don't have time for this now Els. W-we should head there and clean up. Yori’s spell should counter the teleporter, so we've got them cornered.

Jasra: You’re just looking for an excuse to get away~

Ixen: Zip it, Jasra!

The amber began to laugh out loud, holding his stomach to himself with his hands, as Ixen tried to push him down, though the action only made the difference in their physical strength more obvious. As they fought, Yama quickly finished up before addressing them himself.

Yama: Oh no Jasra. Ixen is a good boy. He doesn't run from his bets. Right Ixen?

The two immediately stopped fighting, with Ixen pulling himself off, as he looked at Yama, with uncertainty.

Ixen: I-I mean…I…g-guess so…but…w-we should head down. Let’s go…Els, Jas.

As the trio began to head down, Elsu stopped once more, the pauses causing Ixen’s already low patience to drop even more.

Elsu: Oh, right, Yama. Before we go. Ixen conveniently left out that the detection spell only reached out 90 meters.

Jasra: Oh yeah. He REALLY wanted you to fail, haha!

Ixen: Would you two please shut up about that!

Yama: Really? You set me up for failure. And refused to come off your high ground when a chance was given…

Ixen did his best to keep from looking towards Yama, knowing what likely would be his reaction upon hearing the news. As he slowly made his way down from the spot, he was stopped by Yama, who looked appropriately annoyed by the revelation. With a momentary silence, Ixen quickly moved his paw away before yelling once again, making his annoyance quite clear.

Ixen: Ok, h-how was I supposed to know that worthless...er...that thing of yours was gonna be that good!?

Yama: I tried to let you off easy and even said it would be a simple shot.

Ixen: The only gun I’ve ever dealt with was one that used magic capsules. And it looked nothing like that.

Yama: You use magic, I use tech. Now, anything to say?

Elsu: I know you have a lot to discuss, but can we do this later?

Ixen: Mmmph...whatever. So you won the bet, congrats. Let's just get this over with.

With that, Ixen leaves, creating a slew of simple platforms to walk down on as he quickly makes his way towards the fort. As he runs off, Elsu turns to him in shock as he sees him rush off towards the fort.

Elsu: Ah! Wait! You know better than to rush ahead!

Elsu then quickly makes a runway and begins to skate across it in a graceful manner, moving at a much quicker speed than Ixen, quickly catching up to him as the two close in on the fort. Jasra is left by himself, who laughs once more before turning his attention to Yama.

Jasra: And not even a thanks… He's really frustrated~

Yama: Yeah. I know. I’ll be here. Have to wait for her to come back up.

Jasra: Sure, sure. Don’t worry, me and Els will make sure he keeps his end of the deal.

Yama: No need to stress it. I know he will. Ixen’s not like Yori.

Jasra: True, true. Anyway, gotta catch up to them! Before they call me out on it.

With that, Jasra, much like Yama, created a massive set of wings on his back and flew down to meet with the others. With that, Yama did much the same, waiting for the A.I. to come online once more.

Even from the distance Yama was, seeing the sights of explosions, earth being manipulated and the lighting in the area dimming was easy to spot, as Ixen, Jasra and Elsu quickly and decisively took out the remaining group, before an almost ear shattering crack rippled out over the area.

The sound of it worried Yama for a brief moment as a massive multicolored tunnel began to appear, only for it to break apart like glass, and causing the ones who tried to run to fall to the ground, solidifying their capture. Overall, the fight did not seem to take long, with the A.I. still coming back up, it was obvious that it took less than 10 to 15 minutes.

At the fort, the group of bandits were now caught, leaving Ixen, Elsu and Jasra with the group. Ixen quickly made a call to Silas, informing them that he and the others would be on their way back soon. Upon hearing the report, Jasra and Elsu looked at him in confusion.

Elsu: You are coming with us?

Ixen: Naturally. I have to be there to turn it in. Besides, with how fast we got this done, there will no doubt be more to do.

Jasra: Hmm…so you’re gonna ditch Yama eh~?

Ixen: I’m not ditching him, I’m prioritizing work.

Elsu: Did you not make a deal?

Ixen: It was a bet, and it wasn’t official. That said, he’ll probably just want to do something silly anyway.

Jasra: Not cool dude, ditching Yama like this and not keeping your end of the bet because you lost.

Ixen: Yama will understand that I can't exactly stop working. Come, we should get moving.

Elsu: Don’t end up paying for this later…

With that, the three teleported away, leaving Yama to wait.

Yama: Taking awhile…Hmm…

It was well past the time for the A.I. to reboot, now having re-absorbed the gun, Yama made his way to the fort, taking no time at all now that he could fly again with the A.I. back up. However, upon making it there, Yama quickly realized the entire fort was empty. No one was there, and the bandits were gone.

Yama: …they left?  Son of a-...ok. Fine. It’s fine.

Repeating that single phrase, Yama quickly took off once more in a set direction…

Back in Odarriya, Ixen, Elsu and Jasra were once again meeting with Silas.


Silas: It’s incredible…how did your team manage to solve the issue so quickly?

Ixen: Well…you know. We just have ways of doing things others don’t.

Jasra: Yep! Could say we have a lot of ways of doing stuff.

Silas: Keeping your secrets are you? Well…no scales off my back. Just glad you all got it done. Even more so, we didn’t have to rely on mercenaries or bounty hunters or whatever to solve it. Good job, showing them what the department’s elite can accomplish. I’ll give a bit of a bonus for a job well done. Since it was done so quickly, we have some other things to deal with if you are up for it.

Ixen: Definitely! What have you got?

Silas: Hrah! Good to hear! Now…here’s a rundown…

The three took on more various tasks, from hunting to guard duty for the day, as well as catching a few other criminals here and there. With the daylight ticking away, and soon enough, the sun began to set, the three parted ways for the day, finally done and heading back for some rest. As Ixen left Oddariya, using a beacon to travel to the entrance to his and Yori’s home, upon housing the gateway, he was quickly greeted by a very familiar, and none to happy dorumon.

Ixen: Yori! I’m ba-!

Before he could even finish, a tendril grabbed him, coiling itself around his neck before throwing Ixen into a table, breaking it immediately upon contact. The shield flickered from the impact, while the signs of it guarding his neck from being broken by the metal tendril caused it to emit a faint blue light.

Yama: Welcome home. Coward. Couldn't be a man about your loss?

Ixen: Ugh…Y-yama?! I didn’t run out! I had work to do!

As he spoke, Yama slowly walked towards him, approaching him in a menacing tone.


Yama: And you couldn't spare a stop by to tell me that? Coming by to say “Oh. Sorry Yama. I will honor my bet. But I need to finish work first.” That would have been perfectly fine! But no. You lost a bet YOU made and then ran from it when YOU lost! Hoping I would move on and forget about it. Well Jack. The reaper always collects. And I'm here to collect!

Ixen struggled, trying to free himself from the tendril that was wrapped around him. Despite the shield holding against a potential death, he still found himself unable to move.

Ixen: I-I didn’t really run though! Look, s-sorry alright! W-what…what were you planning to do?

Yama looked Ixen over, scanning his body as he could barely move, before settling his gaze out over his slit.

Yama: That. I’m using that. Your ass is mine, like it should have been from the start.

Ixen: Unf…f-fine…whatever…just get it over with then so-

With that, Yama quickly proceeded to push himself into Ixen’s slit, forcing his way in as his claws wrapped around Ixen’s legs, spreading him out to keep him from closing them back up. As Yama slit fucked the garnet dragon, keeping a set of tendrils around his legs, one around his neck and another to pull his arms back around, Yama smiled in a sadistic fashion as Ixen was forced to take him.

Ixen: I-I thought…you wanted my ass?!

Yama: I meant in general, coward. Where I put it was always up to me. And frankly using your slit like the pussy you were today seems fitting.

Ixen: C-come on! I already apologized, the least you could do is fuck me somewhere other than the place all those stupid non mages- urk!!
