Another day, another recruit…
Twas all that Gemori said to herself as she set up a cup for herself in the outskirts of a nearby town once again. Once it was finished, she made her way back, waltzing in while not a soul saw her as she strolled through. A claw around the centerpiece of the set she was eying, and back she walked, no one in the town any wiser to the fact that they had been stolen from.
"Ahh, the water is nice and hot. Now…let's see…"
The zoroark looked over the information on the recruit in question. They were a “C” rank criminal, three accounts of theft, and one account of mon slaughter at a hospital. 11k pokè bounty.
"Mmmm…"
She set the teapot down on the ground, with a plat underneath to hold it, rolling her eyes at the wanted information before folding it up and putting it away.
"Haa…boring. They'll not make it past the 1st round…murder sounds good on paper sure, but pokémon working at hospitals are so…weak…probably just killed a servant. Haaa…I want an interesting recruit…"
Despite her apathetic nature, she knew well enough that it was her assignment and that she had a quota to hit. Complaining now would only serve to distract her from the job.
At the very least, she figured she could start preparing the tea to drink now, probably will take a bit of time to convince, but also relaxing wouldn't be so bad. It was then a familiar scent caught her nose, leaving her to turn an all to familiar yellow fox made his way up to her.
"A shadow with tea
Darkness, and pleasure still
Together again."
Gemori shook her head and moved over, allowing Lars to sit next to her. Despite the job being dull, the sight of him rose her mood just a bit, especially given how long it had been since she had seen him last.
"You and your little haiku's. What brought you along? Been a month at least."
Setting himself down next to her, he looked over the tea set, noting how expensive it looked, especially the quality of it compared to the last set.
"Gift shopping for yourself~?"
"Indeed. With a discount high enough to make it a steal."
The two smiled at one another, a slight laugh shared between them both as Lars looked inside the pot. A glace made it clear she hadn't even started making the tea.
"Oh? And here I thought it would have already been steeping at least?"
"Nope. You got here right before I decided on what to have. I have a few dried tea leaves to use here…"
Before the zoroark could fish them out, Lars placed a hand over her shoulder, stopping her before she could take them out.
"How about I use some of my own. There shant be a need to waste yours all the time."
The comment left Gemori looking Lars over with curiosity for a bit, before giving him a toothy smile as she eyed him over carefully.
"Offering a girl all by herself in the middle of the woods your own private blend of tea leaves hmm? If I didn't know you any better, I'd say you drugged it."
"Never. Besides, I'm sure an elite criminal like yourself would immediately catch it if I tried to do something so uncouth."
"Ha! Making fun of me are you?"
"Only because I can~"
With a raised eyebrow, Gemori quickly snatched the bag from Lars and gently placed it into the pot before them. After doing so and securing it inside, she gently dug a clawed finger into his chest in a playful act of dominance.
"Fine. Let's have a drink then, cocky fox."
"You never disappoint, do you~?"
With a shift and a pivot, the two made themselves comfortable, letting the tea steep and infuse, before pulling it out and discarding it once it finished. The pair continued the conversation, laughing and enjoying each other's company as Gemori gradually found herself losing her control and becoming gradually more and more flirtatious. The slow, but obvious change caught the renamon off guard, leading him to look at the package.
"A soothing mix of apples, cinnamon and magost berries from pokémon based worlds. A fragrant, bold black tea blend with a hint of spice. Warning: ingredient combination will work as an aphrodisiac to pokémon. Use with caution"
"An aphro-"
Before he could finish, Gemori hugged him, looking down at the small box with a glass-like gaze in her eyes. Her claws gently stroked Lars fur, while she moved in a way that pushed herself closer, into an intimate fashion.
"Laaaaars~? Watcha reading there? Don't you enjoy my company?"
"Ah…that worked fast…"
"What did?"
Deciding it best to simply leave out the accidental poisoning, he put the box away and smiled, pulling the zoroark in with a provocative hold as he looked her directly in the eyes. In the back of his mind however, while he felt bad about the situation, the fact he pulled one over on her so easily despite her comment and elite criminal status gave him a bit of a laugh.
"Someone seems a lot less interested in the tea~"
"It's fantastic tea, really sets the mood~"
While Lars himself failed to be affected by the tea mixture, the sight of seeing Gemori, a zoroark typically more confident and formal in her approach, grow to be quite submissive and direct began to turn him on. Indulging her advances, he pulled her in, causing her to drop the cup on the soft grass and spilling the contents of it. However, rather than angry, Gemori smiled in a lewd fashion, as she embraced him. And within a few moments, now fully up, the renamon pushed into her, as a union between the illusionists was formed.
Perhaps using it wasn't such a bad thing afterall~?
