It can be weird. Aderon itself is weird. A world of pokemon tucked away in the multiverse. In some respects, it is unique, special. The few who go marvel at both the natural beauty that has managed to permeate the landscape. The lack of human tech and the residents reluctance to ever involve themselves with it helped to preserve the natural beauty. Likewise, those that visit make note of the unnatural strength of the pokemon there. What they lack in more civilized thought, they make up for in a nearly unparalleled amount of strength compared to other worlds.
One would assume it leads to many trying to visit, but one major aspect of the primitive pokemon of Aderon wards off most from visiting. Along with strength, comes a sentiment that unfortunately has taken root at the heart of the world. One that is not without precedent.
For a Aderonmon's strength is tied to their aura. The strength of each individual aura, and how much one aims to train and enhance it. But while this may be true, this fact only applies to genetically male pokemon born into the world. Those who aren't, find themselves unable to use, much less access, aura energy. Such a vital form of power for the primitive and simple minded pokemon of Aderon has led to a world of misogyny and bias. Males are seen as superior, because it is the way of the world.
This fact is something Toto had all but forgotten, leaving Aderon behind before had lifted this curse away from him. He was weak at the time, so it never was something he made note of. But upon returning, the child was quick to learn that he in fact was a herm. The immediate sap in his power and inability to harness aura energy upon returning was something he thought to struggle with, but thanks to his inherent magical abilities, he was able to typically keep himself out of harms way from the very pushy males that only saw those with a cunt as egg bearers.

With an invite back to where Toto stayed, a cute little place the child had did his best to make his own, Keon began to describe the world he came from outside of Aderon.

Technology, spacecrafts, lasers...so many things that left the cubone confused. What any of that was, he did not know.
