In an unplanned little post follow-up to his previous unsolicited sexual intercourse with a tyrunt that took a keen liking to the little brown lizard.
Finally finding it time to lay, Toto made his way to a private place for a moment and set into pushing out the new little egg into Aderon. This likely wasn't something he'd ever actually had to do before, perhaps it was just due to never running into anyone that actually could put an egg in him before? Regardless of the reason, that was then, this was now, and now Toto had an egg that needed to be given away. He was in no position to take care of one, especially given his age, but thankfully a surplus of pokemon eggs in Aderon is so common an occurance that places where, females usually, can drop off the eggs that get put into them to be raised and taken care of are a dime a dozen. Surely one would be in the little village he stopped in?
The inquiry didn't take long, though confused responses from those around seeing a "male" produce an egg were abundant. A herm was rather rare in Aderon. A genetic oddity that no one ever really saw before. And in a world where gender is identified by scent, only confused every mon in Aderon all the more, when they picked up both male and female pheromones. Still, the male side masked much of the latter, which made it significantly easier to travel unsolicited and avoid being collared and taken as a slave. Most males preferred their slaves be female for obvious reasons, but male slaves were still most definitely around as well.
Pushing those idle thoughts, he arrived at a place run by a few males and many females. A small pink little building that housed many eggs, and many pokemon to take home, take care of or set out. Thankfully most pokemon were self sufficient not long after being born. Typically they only take a few months or a year. Even in Toto's case, he himself was traveling and doing his own thing in roughly the same frame of time.
Thus, age really did mean next to nothing in Aderon, only really equating to life experience. So a child coming in and giving them an egg that they bore after being impregnated was all to common a sight for the place. A male doing so was a different case entirely however. Walking in and getting perplexing looks from the staff, Toto held the little egg tight to his tummy, making his way to the counter being run by a chansey. Normally an odd sight, but for a place like this, quite understandable.
"Y-yes? You have an egg for us, little...guy?"
"U-umm...I-I do..."
Toto nervously handed her the egg. As she picked it up and examined it, eyeing the little sphere with careful precision, almost as if she assumed it a prank, eventually she nodded before placing it into a basket full of other eggs of various sizes and shapes.
"Tyrunt got you, huh? Those things can be pretty rough and rowdy. Glad you got out ok. Or...was it the other way around...?"
"N-no...um...i-it...w-w-w-was o-on...me..."
The timid little cubone's stammering and nervousness made the chansey swoon at the adorableness on display. However, knowing she had a job to do and seeing a few more come in, the chansey quickly moved to a jar and gave the little cubone a tiny piece of candy, before patting him on the head.
"Careful now, ok? Cute little thing like you is just such a tempting target. Though how a male laid an egg..."
"T-thank you! B-bye, bye miss chansey!"
While surprised by Toto's quick leave, the thought of being addressed with any realm of authority by a male made her step back a bit in surprise. Before she could get a word out however, Toto left, popping the sweet little hard candy made from pecha berries into his mouth. The sweetness overwhelmed the tiny tyke, before happily skipping away towards his next destination. Perhaps it best to keep the female side a good little secret. Afterall, it being known would only make traveling far more difficult to do...
