Many are harmless for the most part, some are exceedingly dangerous, but all of them can pose a threat to the many mages that inhabit the world. However there are some creatures that took a more unique approach to absorbing mana from the sentient beings in the magic focused world. The akehbia is one such creature, being a tentacle monster that absorbs the nutrients it needs through what one could consider \"very volatile\" means. \n\nSuffice it to say, the akhebia thankfully only inhabits bodies of water, but strains of it that have grown to dwell in the deep forests of Edarel's wilderness exist, and for the great and powerful \"witch\" Yori, she found herself quickly stumbling upon one as she made her way through the dense woodlands after coming back from her brush with death. \n\nNot one to believe anyone at face value, Yori knew that the being was joking and obviously wouldn't do something so one sided in his favor to a mage as powerful as she was. No no, definitely not. So obviously he was in a bad mood, needed to vent, and Yori allowed him to do so. That story checks out, yes. \n\nHowever, while in her idle thoughts, vines sensing mana the presence of a living being with mana quickly grabbed her tiny body from the waist, before lifting her into the air. With a scream, Yori was hung up by the vines as another set appeared to wrap themselves around her paws. \n\nWith no means to escape, Yori began to panic a bit, a reaction unbefitting of one like herself, to which she quickly tried to course correct by claiming she would destroy the creature before it could use her like a recharge tank.\n\nHowever before it could come out, A vine stuffed itself into her mouth, preventing her from speaking, and soon, another from the back came forth and pushed itself into her! \n\nBound and completely immobilized, Yori could feel the creature siphoning her mana bit by bit as it raped her, as she quickly fell into to the creatures machinations, the pathetic little mage getting drained like the weakling she was.
