"writing": "The story starts off as just another day at the department of magical affairs. Ixen, the overweight garnet dragon with burgundy scales and a large, tan belly made his way out, crossing paths with a smaller, beetle with four arms. The insect wore a black fur coat over the green department robe, while fitted with various items on his person. Beside him was another dragon, weighing far more than Ixen did, likewise sporting a long thick tail. Unlike Ixen however, this dragon's fat frame was muscular. His large, overweight body was fitted with a slew of muscles underneath. His scales were a light brown across the body, with thick, amber colored crystals protruding out from his spine. A cluster of them fit at the end of his tail, fully capable of being used as a bludgeon. The amber dragon wore a green cloak much like the others, but sported weaves of gold thread, mixed with yellow gemstones embroidered into a tasteful pattern.\n\nIxen: Routine patrol today. We're heading out to patrol the southern trade routes in northeast Charir. \n\nAt the sound of it, Jasra groaned, slumping his arms down while giving Ixen a disdainful and annoyed look. The idea of walking back and forth along the roads in the heat for the next couple hours only added to his annoyance. \n\nJasra: What?! Come onnnn...surely there's gotta be something interesting..! Some thefts...kidnappings? Planned coups? \n\nElsu: No...there is nothing like that going on. \n\nIxen: It can't always be exciting, so let's just enjoy that it's peaceful, yeah? \n\nJasra: I can enjoy it more when I get to show off...\n\nElsu: Jasra...look. Even if there are jobs...leave them to mercenaries. \n\nIxen: Yeah...unlike us, they rely on them to get paid. So better for them to get what they can. \n\nJasra: ....those bottom feeding bastards should look for actual jobs instead of relying on the department's scraps…\n\nIxen: Watch it, Jasra! Things like that are why people dislike the department...\n\nJasra: We aren't disliked at all! People respect us!\n\nElsu: Nobles and well off folks respect us. But mercenaries hate us, and the common folk prefer the mercenaries. \n\nJasra: ...all the more reason for them to stop being lazy and-\n\nIxen: Enough! Patrol. Now. We're going. And maybe after I'll teach you some more humility. Remember who your superiors are on this team. \n\nJasra: Pfft, teach me humility? What? Gonna lead by example~? \n\nJasra smiled, goading Ixen into picking a fight with him then and there. At it, Ixen found himself getting more annoyed, before eventually getting cut off by Elsu, who stood between the two. The simple act managed to calm Ixen down, who scoffed before turning away. Jasra simply sighed, disappointed that he wouldn’t get to beat Ixen in a fight again. \n\nWith that, the three teleported towards their patrol zone, the long stretch of road in a field of trees and grasslands exuded from the peaceful open air. While trade roads like these were rarely used nowadays, they were still valuable in the use of trading information when one didn’t want to be seen. The lack of patrols along the roads and focus on magic oriented scanning made it fairly easy for would-be criminals to use the typically empty travel roads as a ways to relay information to one another. \n\nAnd that was what Ixen, Jasra and Elsu were assigned to do, patrol and prevent or report any potential criminal activity that they found along the road. Once they arrived, the three began to discuss amongst themselves what the best course of action would be to take. \n\nIxen: So...how to do this? \n\nJasra: We can split up. Get more done that way. \n\nElsu: Splitting up is risky...\n\nIxen: Do you really think we'll run into anything or anyone dangerous though? \n\nElsu: It isn't that we will, but IF we will. \n\nJasra: I'm on Ixen's side here. We can cover more ground if we just split up. \n\nIxen: Agreed...plus come on, any threat we run into we can deal with. \n\nElsu: ...I am not so sure. Watch yourself Ixen...do not fall into the trap that-\n\nIxen: What trap? Els' I'm just speaking the truth! he laughs. After everything we've done, you forget how much better we are compared to everyone else. \n\nElsu: ...you were completely humiliated in a spar with Eramin some time after. \n\nIxen: Ok that was just him! He’s the strongest mage in Edarel prime!\n\nElsu: Plus you know that anti magic sentimentality still runs deep here. We should-\n\nJasra: Come on Elsu! Ixen broke their future armor also. He's more than capable of handing some primitive non mages using their pathetic metal age gear. And if Ixen can do it, you know I can, Just gotta be careful. \n\nElsu: You both underestimate the resourcefulness of those without...\n\nIxen: And you overestimate those weaklings who rely on useless things like metal and swordsmanship to win. They try anything, they'll be taught a harsh lesson. \n\nElsu: ...It’s that line of thinking that causes you to constantly need saving! Just because-\n\nIxen: They only win because they have to use cheap tactics and shit to beat me. Face the facts Elsu, after all was said and done with Vulre, I won’t lose a fight to a bunch of non mages!\n\nElsu: But-\n\nJasra: It’s 2 to 1 Elsu. We really need to get started. Ixen’s right anyway, these non mages can’t do shit, so let’s just split up and do this already. \n\nWith little other ways to convince the two, Elsu let out a heavy sigh, knowing full well that the plan would no doubt be a bad idea. Still, the quite\n\nElsu: Very well...I clearly cannot convince either of you. Be careful though. Especially you Jasra. \n\nJasra: Pfft. Nothing to worry about. Non mages are bitches. I’m not gonna get beaten by a bunch of brigands and commoners. \n\nIxen: Agreed. Let's go already. We need to get started already.\n\nUnbeknownst to them, among the trees, hidden beneath the shadow of the foliage, three individuals watched them, listening in on the conversation.\n\nAnki: ...god that stupid amber...I really want to-\n\nGarnet dragon: Calm. We'll get what we want. Now, which one do we target? \n\nAmber dragon: What about the anki? \n\nGarnet dragon: Nah...too risky. He’s the number one mage at the department. Plus he’s cautious, going after him is dangerous. \n\nAnki: Jasra clearly!\n\nAmber dragon: And have all of Odarriya come down on us? No thank you. You know who that is right? \n\nAnki: Of course I do, but the son of the amber dragon’s race representative? He’d be way to great a prize! \n\nGarnet dragon: Aye, a prize to be sure. But one that will get us all killed.\n\nAnki: You’re just being a coward. But fine. That just leaves Ixen, the “Hero of Edarel” or whatever. Despite the title, he doesn’t have much to his name. Married to some no name rauni, doesn't even live in Odarriya and is far from the best in the department. \n\nGarnet dragon: Plus, the hero of the mage knight war does make for a fetching target. \n\nAnki: Riiiight. He's the one that beat Noori and got him to disband the knights. \n\nGarnet dragon: All the remaining mage knights can’t stand that cocky asshole. Always preaching about how much better mages are compared to us non mages. \n\nAnki: What do you say? Care to bag ourselves a “hero?”\n\nAmber dragon: Yeah, I think I'd be down for that one. Let’s see just how great a hero he really is. \n\nAnki: He'll be a hero taking my dick up his pathetic mage slit once we’re done. Hehe…. \n\nGarnet dragon: Save it until AFTER we catch him. \n\n---\nWhile out on patrol, Ixen yawns after it's been about 1 hour, the roads stretching across the plains of eastern Charir’s trade routes being especially dull. While the peace was nice here and there, with the occasional traveler manually hauling things, most he passed by were mercenaries who poked fun and chastised his green and silver department cloak, disdain for the department in Edarel being as apparent as Elsu mentioned before. With another yawn, trying to push the comments out of his mind, he looked up at the sky before tapping his ring. Still a good 3 more hours before rotation. \n\nIxen: Nothing...so freaking boring. I hate to admit it, but part of me agrees with Jasra. I do prefer more excitement. Ahh...so jealous of you Yori. All the time in the world…\n\nAs he walked, his mind began to wander towards other things. From the city itself, to the game he was still playing back at home. It even wandered to Yori, imagining the shape of her form and her adorable voice, along with the cute petite frame and fragile little body that was coupled with such an extreme personality. The thoughts caused him to turn himself on, eventually noticing as he pushed his wife out of his mind as best he could. Even with all that however, only about an hour in, he yawned loudly, scratching his fat belly with his claws and causing the shield to spasm in response.\n\nBehind a deep patch of bushes and trees, the three from before watched him. One of them is holding what looks to be a couple of glowing marbles. They watch Ixen patiently, spinning the tiny balls in their hand before whispering to one another. \n\nAnki: Ready?\n\nGarnet dragon: Yeah...\n\nAmber dragon: Let's do this. \n\nAt once he threw one of the balls in front of Ixen, causing it to burst in a small cloud of smoke. Ixen, now alert, looks around the area, before moving to his ring.\n\nIxen: Els', Jas? Somethings going on over...huh? \n\nHis ring ceased to glow, as if no mana was being released from it. Without mana, communication was impossible as well as any shielding from it negated.\n\nIxen: Son of a...!!! \n\nHe quickly turned around to see an amber charging him, preparing to punch him in the face with a glove made of the mana absorbing ore. With a quick dodge, Ixen prepare a spell, only for nothing to come to his palm. \n\nIxen: What?! Shit!! The smoke!!\n\nBefore he could realize what was happening, a garnet dragon grabbed him from behind, slamming him into a nearby tree by the collar of his jacket, causing a blood stain to be left on the tree, and Ixen finding himself instantly knocked out from the blow without a shield to protect him. Lastly, the Anki walked up to the other two looking over Ixen's unconscious body.\n\nAnki: Pfft...so much for the hero. He was easy to take out. \n\nGarnet dragon: No doubt thanks to these little anti mana bombs Noori left. \n\nAmber dragon: Alright...so what now? \n\nAnki: Take him. He's even hotter after seeing him up close and in person. I can’t wait to rape this bitch. \n\nThe garnet dragon that was with the three coughed, shifting as he looked away, clearly annoyed by the comment.\n\nGarnet dragon: I mean...come on. He's just a garnet though...\n\nAmber dragon: Nice body. I agree. Ixen’s got a look to him that just screams “fuck me, I deserve it.”\n\nThe garnet dragon among them stayed quiet, their attraction to Ixen clearly leaving him more self conscious. Still, without wanting to cause any issue, he simply followed along, not saying anything as they prepared to kidnap him, \n\nAnki: Let's bring him back. Blindfold him. \n\nThe anki and garnet dragon tore the green and silver department robe off Ixen's back, bruising his scales in the process as he lay unconscious. Using it like a blindfold just in case he woke up, they wrapped his head around in it as tight as they could make it, unconcerned if he could even breathe or not. \n\nAnki: There...time to go. Let’s move.\n\nAmber dragon: Hehe...mages really make the best bitches~\n\nGarnet dragon: (what makes him so attractive and not me...?)\n---\n\nBack at the base, Ixen slowly stirred awake, his head pounding as he tried to look around. He quickly found himself cut short by a bar around his neck. More metal latches held his wrists down, keeping his arms outstretched, with his legs being spread out by chains place around his ankles in order to keep his tailhole and slit exposed.\n\nIxen: mmmph...!!! \n\nAs he tried to speak, a type of gag was put in his mouth, the gag having a type of funnel in it to allow for his tongue to stick through it. As he struggled to even do anything...the bars and latches clearly having been constructed via the stone, Ixen found himself helpless as he was chained to the odd mount. The way it all kept his body exposed made it a clear indicator of what it did.\n\nSurrounding him, dozens of Edarel denizens...of all kinds and race, talked amongst themselves. Upon realizing their prey was finally up, one of the ones that caught him proceeded to walk up to him, caressing his body and stroking Ixen's scales.\n\nAmber dragon: Hehe...sleep well, little hero? Welcome to one of our bases...where we actively pursue a life without magic! \n\nIndeed, all around him, the denizens were doing things by hand, refusing to use enchanted weapons, farming...building, everything. It was extremely jarring to see, as Ixen couldn't hold back a laugh at such a sorry sight.\n\nAmber dragon: Think it's funny seeing us live?! Seeing us actually work?!\n\nIxen tried to hold himself back, neither agreeing or disagreeing with the question. The amber dragon shrugged once he realized Ixen wouldn't answer back, before moving a thick digit down to his rear hole.\n\nAmber dragon: Hmph...doesn't matter. We have a different purpose for you anyway. One you mages are especially good for. \n\nRealizing what he meant, Ixen proceeded to struggle even more, pushing mana up through his body as he tried to force his way through the ore. However, without giving him time to focus on it, the amber dragon quickly punched Ixen in the stomach, causing him to cease as he gasped for air.\n\nAmber dragon: How does getting hit with a real punch feel like? No stupid shield to protect you anymore...know what that means also...right? \n\nAs he finished, he proceeded to push one of his large fingers into Ixen's rear, causing the dragon to spasm as he struggled to pull his legs and tail in, the entire feeling of being spread open covering his entire body.\n\nAmber dragon: Never had to sub without your cute little shield huh? Hehe...I promise...you'll love EVERY little bit of it. \n\nWith dreaded gasps, Ixen struggled to escape, but without access to his magic, it was to no avail. Too physically weak to do anything, and having no way to contact others, much less knowing where he was, he soon found himself being raped by everyone there, a talley being written on his stomach as they referred to his slit as a \"mage pussy,\" insulting mages in general from the act. The treatment lasted for what felt like hours, with their abuse being taken further as time went on. While he couldn’t see them, the sound and feeling of light paws against his stomach and tiny dicks against his scales indicated a group of raunikayle were up at the moment. It only felt fitting there would be so many in the mage knights, given all mages have done to them, save just killing their race off. \n\nHe tried to stammer out to them, saying that his wife was one, but the words only made things worse as they began to pull at cracks in the gem on his chest, causing it to break and bleed as the underlying scales were torn off from it. The endeavor clearly didn’t endear them to him, as one went for his mouth, while two went for his rear and slit respectively. At this point all three areas had been used extensively, with the garnet dragon pushing it out of his mind as best he could. The sheer state of vulnerability he was forced into brought back the horrid memory of Silgas when being taught what would happen to those in the department who were too weak or cocky, as well as the bandit that he had lost to many years after. The fact that this was happening now, even after all the growth he had dealing with Vulre and stopping the time altering plot only made his inability and weakness apparent. Even with trying to push it out of his mind, keeping whatever brave face he could muster up, tears began to flow out through the mask, but alongside it an overwhelming anger. \n\n“Mr. Hero crying now? Crying because he’s too weak to stop a bunch of “non mages” from putting him in his place? Pathetic, the hero of Edarel can’t do shit!”\n\nThe words cut him, as he tried to lash out, but the ore around his wrists and rope keeping him bound to the pole kept him from doing much of anything besides trying to look threatening in response. The act only made the jeers worse, before a scaled claw struck him across the face, causing blood to drip out the side of his mouth. \n\n“Bleeding from just that alone? You mage types are so physically weak. The only reason you can even walk around without getting a bruise on your pretty scales is thanks to those dumb shields…” \n\nEven if whomever was talking was correct, the mention of it still pissed Ixen off to hear it. And as the mocking and rape continued, his feelings of pathetic inferiority were quenched by deep anger towards them. Thoughts of what he would do to them if he could get out, of how all of them would burn to death in his flames assaulted his mind. Thoughts and feelings that a mage belonging to the department should never entertain when dealing with civilians. Yes, even them, as Silgas would likely put it. \n\nThat last bit only amplified his anger, and as it rose, cracks could be heard from around his wrists, as his mana began to overload the ore, giving everyone there pause for concern. Backing away from him, he overheard them discussing that killing him now would be best, they had their fun, and now things were getting dangerous…\n\nIxen: Shit! Fuck all of you damn non mage bastards! When I get out of these stupid cuffs, I’ll be sure to show you just how inferior you are to-\n\nBAM! \n\nA punch across the face nearly blacked him out, before another blow to his stomach immediately winded him. Another again to the other side of his face and then a hard kick to his big, soft gut finally got him to cough up blood as it began to form in his mouth. \n\n“Damn magic casting fatass! You spoke enough. It’s time. Let’s-” \n\nBefore they could even finish speaking, a group of department mages, Jasra and Elsu, along with a few others, immediately stormed the hideout. Screaming and spells could be heard around him, as swearing and yelling, especially from Jasra, were resonating out in the area. \nIn just a few short minutes, the sounds began to die down, before Ixen was immediately broken out, with the ropes around him taken off alongside the cover across his eyes.\n\nJasra: Hey, Mr. leader! Were- OH! Damn…you look like shit…\n\nElsu: Jasra not now!…Ixen. Are you…no. Clearly not. Come on. \n\nThe amber dragon and anki helped him up, lifting him to his feet before Jasra let him lean on his shoulder thanks to their similar height. As Ixen’s eyes adjusted to the sudden flood of light, he could make out about a dozen other department mages there, all presiding over what seemed to be nearly 40 or 50 Mage Knight members, all either unconscious, or in serious pain as healers came to help them against their will. \n\nIxen: …Where am I? \n\nJasra: Ummm…We were on patrol…remember? Don’t tell me you were so hard you forgot?\n\nIxen: Jackass…I remember that…I meant where did they take me? \n\nElsu: We are…apparently at a village of theirs, or something like that. I can’t be sure. We only just arrived. \n\n“Ixen!?! There you are!” \n\nA line, high pitched, feminine, annoying, and making you want to pin whomever they came from down and shut them up. That sound belonged to only one person Ixen knew, and as he turned in the direction of it, a small, blue raunikayle greeted him. Not with a running hug, or kiss, but with anger as she walked in with her typical air of unearned superiority. \n\nYori: Finally…you were missing for almost 3 hours. I was so…I-I mean dammit, how could you get caught by these losers! \n\nIxen: Took me by surprise, love. That’s all…yeah…\n\nYori: You’re the hero of Edarel, you shouldn’t be losing to a bunch of non mage bitches like them! Anyone and everyone who doesn’t use magic is a waste of time, so for you to get captured…haa…at least you are alright. \n\nIxen: Couldn’t keep up the act of not caring, eh? \n\nYori: …I’d smack you if you didn’t look like a skewered, well fed beast. Now what are we doing with all of them? \n\nSilgas: Taking them into custody. Nothing else will be done until a proper verdict has been given. \n\nA pearl dragon finally made his way in, walking with a dignified and morally superior fashion, the pearlescent serpent’s confident and dignified stride alone was enough to make it clear his status as high ranking nobility. The long green cloak of embroidered silver and sewn in emeralds helped anyone unable to tell just from his walk alone. The head of the department of magical affairs was decorated and divine, and his overwhelming confidence and formal demeanor were on full display, a far cry from a certain other garnet dragon commoner.\n\nIxen: Are you kidding me?! Sir, nothing personal, but they’re a bunch of terrorists, most are even rapists besides! We should just kill them, here and now! \n\nSilgas: Ixen, don’t exacerbate the negative opinion the middle and lower class have on us even more by requesting unreasonable things like that. You know better. \n\nIxen: But- \n\nSilgas: Look, you had a very rough couple hours. Extremely so. Go home, relax. Take the time you need, and the department will fund and pay for any therapy or counseling needed. You’re on edge unlike how you usually are.\n\nIxen could only growl, as he was escorted out by Jasra and Elsu before he and Yori finally went home. The next day, after some ample healing from Yori, Ixen couldn’t stop himself from pacing around the cavern, muttering to himself about how unfair it was that they all be allowed to sleep peacefully in a jail cell, rather than being put to death. Yori stood by, listening in, but not saying anything towards it, waiting to see if it subsided. \n\nBut by the third day, even so much as bringing up the department again would boil over in anger for the dragon, sending Ixen on another anger induced tirade. Finally, once enough was enough, Yori opened her mouth during it, offering a hook. \n\nYori: What if you could kill them all? \n\nThis question immediately stopped Ixen, who turned to look at her and contemplate the question. What he would do to see all of them, innocent or not, die like the non mages they were. The only thing a non mage deserved. However, with a dejected sigh, he pushed it out of his mind. \n\nIxen: Much as I would like to, I could never do anything like that. The department would be on me immediately unless I had a way to do it discreetly. And even then…they have a whole list of magic security checks all over the facility they’re being held at. There’s no way I could. \n\nTo this, his wife sighed, before spinning a few letters in the air above them. They began to detail a few of the security measures the facility had that Yori remembered when she was there many years prior. \n\nYori: I know how to bypass most of these, but you would need to inform me of the others. And I can’t use a spell capable of killing them all…but you can. If you had something small, I could easily weave an enchantment that should make it through without detection. Course, I won’t do that unless you want me to. \n\nIxen was left speechless. He looked at her, staring at the former criminal as she blatantly gave Ixen the means to illegally assassinate and commit mass murder. The thought of it made his stomach knot, and his mind was already spinning all the things he should say. Chastising Yori for even condoning the thought of doing something like that. The mere suggestion of it left a bad taste, and Ixen knew in the front of his mind that doing it was not only risky, but could get him put to death if caught. \n\nHowever, in the back, the garnet dragon was silent, gears turning as he considered it. Ixen always stuck to doing what was right, doing it where possible. But this…was it because of what happened, or because of his own feelings? The memory of Vulre and the humiliating defeat he had at the hands of his templars, and his utter disdain and subjugation for him and mages in general immediately came to mind. Elsu’s insistence on learning more than just magic and constant idiotic pushing for incorporating non magical methods to solve issues. Finally the stark reminder of how everyone of his so-called friends, except Yori, had seen the magical dominance timeline as “evil” rather than the way everything should be, gradually caused his anger to rise. And as his eyes narrowed, looking down at his hands, the fact that all of these were things that interfered with the ways he and Yori knew life to be, that magic and mages are superior to everyone else, Ixen finally found his answer. But unknowingly to Ixen, a part of him died at that moment. \n---\n\nThe next day, the news spread like wildfire, over 40 dead overnight, all of the mage knights that had previously been in custody found to have had their hearts pierced through directly. Without anyone on staff, all of them died due to internal bleeding. Many department mages were at the scene, as Silgas did his best to deflect any reports of the department being involved in such an incident. \n\nIt didn’t take long before they came to Ixen, who slept peacefully for the first time in the last couple days, no anger or vitrole to wake him up. The nightmares mostly gone and the smile on his face that he had to do his best to hide as department members brought him in for questioning. \n\nThanks to Yori’s spell, there were no ways to pin it directly on him, as no traces of magic were detected, and with another spell he learned prior, Ixen found himself able to get through detection without issue. Still, he was kept in confinement for a couple weeks before eventually being released. With no answers or leads, the investigation was called off eventually and put in the back as an unresolved case. \n\nWhile the department were chastised for their failings and the fact that Ixen was the main suspect, many citizens across Edarel lowered their expectations on the department itself, much to Silgas’ warnings. What was not predicted was the increase in Ixen’s popularity for the job done. Though the verdict was that there was too little evidence to suggest Ixen was responsible, public opinion on the garnet dragon increased as many citizens were thankful someone finally gave those non mages what they deserved. \n\nAs Ixen mulled over the incident, the first taste of criminal activity lapped across his tongue. He got away with it, in part thanks to Yori. The thought of doing good and trying to do what was right only served to cause more problems. But one simple act, though against the law, solved so many. \n\nThe stout reptile closed his eyes as he let the thoughts of his hatred towards them fill his mind, before seeing them all dead in a flash. The thought caused a smile to creep over his maw, as the words formed in his head, ones that would begin to shape his actions now and for the foreseeable future. \n\n“This was true justice. Not the department. Not the mage knights. The only one who can administer justice in this world is me…”",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'><strong>The story starts off as just another day at the department of magical affairs. Unlike Ixen however, this dragon&#039;s fat frame was muscular. His large, overweight body was fitted with a slew of muscles underneath. His scales were a light brown across the body, with thick, amber colored crystals protruding out from his spine. A cluster of them fit at the end of his tail, fully capable of being used as a bludgeon. The amber dragon wore a green cloak much like the others, but sported weaves of gold thread, mixed with yellow gemstones embroidered into a tasteful pattern.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Routine patrol today. We&#039;re heading out to patrol the southern trade routes in northeast Charir. <br /><br /><strong>At the sound of it, Jasra groaned, slumping his arms down while giving Ixen a disdainful and annoyed look. The idea of walking back and forth along the roads in the heat for the next couple hours only added to his annoyance. </strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Jasra</span>: What?! Come onnnn...surely there&#039;s gotta be something interesting..! Some thefts...kidnappings? Planned coups? <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Elsu</span>: No...there is nothing like that going on. <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: It can&#039;t always be exciting, so let&#039;s just enjoy that it&#039;s peaceful, yeah? <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Jasra</span>: I can enjoy it more when I get to show off...<br /><br /><span class='underline'>Elsu</span>: Jasra...look. Even if there are jobs...leave them to mercenaries. <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Yeah...unlike us, they rely on them to get paid. Gonna lead by example~? <br /><br /><strong>Jasra smiled, goading Ixen into picking a fight with him then and there. Jasra simply sighed, disappointed that he wouldn&rsquo;t get to beat Ixen in a fight again. </strong><br /><br /><strong>With that, the three teleported towards their patrol zone, the long stretch of road in a field of trees and grasslands exuded from the peaceful open air. The lack of patrols along the roads and focus on magic oriented scanning made it fairly easy for would-be criminals to use the typically empty travel roads as a ways to relay information to one another. </strong><br /><br /><strong>And that was what Ixen, Jasra and Elsu were assigned to do, patrol and prevent or report any potential criminal activity that they found along the road. While the peace was nice here and there, with the occasional traveler manually hauling things, most he passed by were mercenaries who poked fun and chastised his green and silver department cloak, disdain for the department in Edarel being as apparent as Elsu mentioned before. The smoke!!<br /><br /><strong>Before he could realize what was happening, a garnet dragon grabbed him from behind, slamming him into a nearby tree by the collar of his jacket, causing a blood stain to be left on the tree, and Ixen finding himself instantly knocked out from the blow without a shield to protect him. Let&rsquo;s move.<br /><br /><span class='underline'>Amber dragon</span>: Hehe...mages really make the best bitches~<br /><br /><span class='underline'>Garnet dragon</span>: (what makes him so attractive and not me...?)<br />---<br /><br /><strong>Back at the base, Ixen slowly stirred awake, his head pounding as he tried to look around. He quickly found himself cut short by a bar around his neck. More metal latches held his wrists down, keeping his arms outstretched, with his legs being spread out&nbsp;&nbsp;by chains place around his ankles in order to keep his tailhole and slit exposed.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: mmmph...!!! <br /><br /><strong>As he tried to speak, a type of gag was put in his mouth, the gag having a type of funnel in it to allow for his tongue to stick through it. As he struggled to even do anything...the bars and latches clearly having been constructed via the stone, Ixen found himself helpless as he was chained to the odd mount. The way it all kept his body exposed made it a clear indicator of what it did.</strong><br /><br /><strong>Surrounding him, dozens of Edarel denizens...of all kinds and race, talked amongst themselves. Upon realizing their prey was finally up, one of the ones that caught him proceeded to walk up to him, caressing his body and stroking Ixen&#039;s scales.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Amber dragon</span>: Hehe...sleep well, little hero? Welcome to one of our bases...where we actively pursue a life without magic! <br /><br /><strong>Indeed, all around him, the denizens were doing things by hand, refusing to use enchanted weapons, farming...building, everything. It was extremely jarring to see, as Ixen couldn&#039;t hold back a laugh at such a sorry sight.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Amber dragon</span>: Think it&#039;s funny seeing us live?! Seeing us actually work?!<br /><br /><strong>Ixen tried to hold himself back, neither agreeing or disagreeing with the question. The amber dragon shrugged once he realized Ixen wouldn&#039;t answer back, before moving a thick digit down to his rear hole.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Amber dragon</span>: Hmph...doesn&#039;t matter. We have a different purpose for you anyway. One you mages are especially good for. <br /><br /><strong>Realizing what he meant, Ixen proceeded to struggle even more, pushing mana up through his body as he tried to force his way through the ore. However, without giving him time to focus on it, the amber dragon quickly punched Ixen in the stomach, causing him to cease as he gasped for air.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Amber dragon</span>: How does getting hit with a real punch feel like? No stupid shield to protect you anymore...know what that means also...right? <br /><br /><strong>As he finished, he proceeded to push one of his large fingers into Ixen&#039;s rear, causing the dragon to spasm as he struggled to pull his legs and tail in, the entire feeling of being spread open covering his entire body.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Amber dragon</span>: Never had to sub without your cute little shield huh? Hehe...I promise...you&#039;ll love EVERY little bit of it. <br /><br />W<strong>ith dreaded gasps, Ixen struggled to escape, but without access to his magic, it was to no avail. Too physically weak to do anything, and having no way to contact others, much less knowing where he was, he soon found himself being raped by everyone there, a talley being written on his stomach as they referred to his slit as a &quot;mage pussy,&quot; insulting mages in general from the act. The treatment lasted for what felt like hours, with their abuse being taken further as time went on. While he couldn&rsquo;t see them, the sound and feeling of light paws against his stomach and tiny dicks against his scales indicated a group of raunikayle were up at the moment. It only felt fitting there would be so many in the mage knights, given all mages have done to them, save just killing their race off. </strong><br /><br /><strong>He tried to stammer out to them, saying that his wife was one, but the words only made things worse as they began to pull at cracks in the gem on his chest, causing it to break and bleed as the underlying scales were torn off from it. The endeavor clearly didn&rsquo;t endear them to him, as one went for his mouth, while two went for his rear and slit respectively. </strong><br /><br />&ldquo;Mr. Hero crying now? Crying because he&rsquo;s too weak to stop a bunch of &ldquo;non mages&rdquo; from putting him in his place? Pathetic, the hero of Edarel can&rsquo;t do shit!&rdquo;<br /><br /><strong>The words cut him, as he tried to lash out, but the ore around his wrists and rope keeping him bound to the pole kept him from doing much of anything besides trying to look threatening in response. The act only made the jeers worse, before a scaled claw struck him across the face, causing blood to drip out the side of his mouth.</strong> <br /><br />&ldquo;Bleeding from just that alone? You mage types are so physically weak. The only reason you can even walk around without getting a bruise on your pretty scales is thanks to those dumb shields&hellip;&rdquo; <br /><br /><strong>Even if whomever was talking was correct, the mention of it still pissed Ixen off to hear it. </strong><br /><br /><strong>That last bit only amplified his anger, and as it rose, cracks could be heard from around his wrists, as his mana began to overload the ore, giving everyone there pause for concern. Backing away from him, he overheard them discussing that killing him now would be best, they had their fun, and now things were getting dangerous&hellip;</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Shit! Fuck all of you damn non mage bastards! When I get out of these stupid cuffs, I&rsquo;ll be sure to show you just how inferior you are to-<br /><br /><strong><em>BAM! </em></strong><br /><br /><strong>A punch across the face nearly blacked him out, before another blow to his stomach immediately winded him. Another again to the other side of his face and then a hard kick to his big, soft gut finally got him to cough up blood as it began to form in his mouth. </strong><br /><br />&ldquo;Damn magic casting fatass! You spoke enough. It&rsquo;s time. Let&rsquo;s-&rdquo; <br /><br /><strong>Before they could even finish speaking, a group of department mages, Jasra and Elsu, along with a few others, immediately stormed the hideout. Screaming and spells could be heard around him, as swearing and yelling, especially from Jasra, were resonating out in the area. </strong><br /><strong>In just a few short minutes, the sounds began to die down, before Ixen was immediately broken out, with the ropes around him taken off alongside the cover across his eyes.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Jasra</span>: Hey, Mr. leader! Were- OH! Damn&hellip;you look like shit&hellip;<br /><br /><span class='underline'>Elsu</span>: Jasra not now!&hellip;Ixen. Are you&hellip;no. Clearly not. Come on. <br /><br /><strong>The amber dragon and anki helped him up, lifting him to his feet before Jasra let him lean on his shoulder thanks to their similar height. As Ixen&rsquo;s eyes adjusted to the sudden flood of light, he could make out about a dozen other department mages there, all presiding over what seemed to be nearly 40 or 50 Mage Knight members, all either unconscious, or in serious pain as healers came to help them against their will. </strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: &hellip;Where am I? <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Jasra</span>: Ummm&hellip; We were on patrol&hellip;remember? Don&rsquo;t tell me you were so hard you forgot?<br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Jackass&hellip;I remember that&hellip;I meant where did they take me? <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Elsu</span>: We are&hellip;apparently at a village of theirs, or something like that. I can&rsquo;t be sure. We only just arrived. <br /><br />&ldquo;Ixen!?! There you are!&rdquo; <br /><br /><strong>A line, high pitched, feminine, annoying, and making you want to pin whomever they came from down and shut them up. That sound belonged to only one person Ixen knew, and as he turned in the direction of it, a small, blue raunikayle greeted him. Not with a running hug, or&nbsp;&nbsp;kiss, but with anger as she walked in with her typical air of unearned superiority. </strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Yori</span>: Finally&hellip;you were missing for almost 3 hours. I was so&hellip;I-I mean dammit, how could you get caught by these losers! <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Took me by surprise, love. That&rsquo;s all&hellip;yeah&hellip;<br /><br /><span class='underline'>Yori</span>: You&rsquo;re the hero of Edarel, you shouldn&rsquo;t be losing to a bunch of non mage bitches like them! Anyone and everyone who doesn&rsquo;t use magic is a waste of time, so for you to get captured&hellip;haa&hellip;at least you are alright. <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Couldn&rsquo;t keep up the act of not caring, eh? <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Yori</span>: &hellip;I&rsquo;d smack you if you didn&rsquo;t look like a skewered, well fed beast. Now what are we doing with all of them? <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Silgas</span>: Taking them into custody. Nothing else will be done until a proper verdict has been given. <br /><br /><strong>A pearl dragon finally made his way in, walking with a dignified and morally superior fashion, the pearlescent serpent&rsquo;s confident and dignified stride alone was enough to make it clear his status as high ranking nobility. The long green cloak of embroidered silver and sewn in emeralds helped anyone unable to tell just from his walk alone. The head of the department of magical affairs was decorated and divine, and his overwhelming confidence and formal demeanor were on full display, a far cry from a certain other garnet dragon commoner.</strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Are you kidding me?! Sir, nothing personal, but they&rsquo;re a bunch of terrorists, most are even rapists besides! We should just kill them, here and now! <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Silgas</span>: Ixen, don&rsquo;t exacerbate the negative opinion the middle and lower class have on us even more by requesting unreasonable things like that. You know better. <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: But- <br /><br /><span class='underline'>Silgas</span>: Look, you had a very rough couple hours. Extremely so. Go home, relax. Take the time you need, and the department will fund and pay for any therapy or counseling needed. You&rsquo;re on edge unlike how you usually are.<br /><br /><strong>Ixen could only growl, as he was escorted out by Jasra and Elsu before he and Yori finally went home. The next day, after some ample healing from Yori, Ixen couldn&rsquo;t stop himself from pacing around the cavern, muttering to himself about how unfair it was that they all be allowed to sleep peacefully in a jail cell, rather than being put to death. Yori stood by, listening in, but not saying anything towards it, waiting to see if it subsided. </strong><br /><br /><strong>But by the third day, even so much as bringing up the department again would boil over in anger for the dragon, sending Ixen on another anger induced tirade. Finally, once enough was enough, Yori opened her mouth during it, offering a hook. </strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Yori</span>: What if you could kill them all? <br /><br /><strong>This question immediately stopped Ixen, who turned to look at her and contemplate the question. What he would do to see all of them, innocent or not, die like the non mages they were. The only thing a non mage deserved. However, with a dejected sigh, he pushed it out of his mind. </strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Ixen</span>: Much as I would like to, I could never do anything like that. The department would be on me immediately unless I had a way to do it discreetly. And even then&hellip;they have a whole list of magic security checks all over the facility they&rsquo;re being held at. There&rsquo;s no way I could. <br /><br /><strong>To this, his wife sighed, before spinning a few letters in the air above them. They began to detail a few of the security measures the facility had that Yori remembered when she was there many years prior. </strong><br /><br /><span class='underline'>Yori</span>: I know how to bypass most of these, but you would need to inform me of the others. And I can&rsquo;t use a spell capable of killing them all&hellip;but you can. If you had something small, I could easily weave an enchantment that should make it through without detection. Course, I won&rsquo;t do that unless you want me to. <br /><br /><strong>Ixen was left speechless. </strong><br /><br /><strong>However, in the back, the garnet dragon was silent, gears turning as he considered it. Ixen always stuck to doing what was right, doing it where possible. But this&hellip;was it because of what happened, or because of his own feelings? The memory of Vulre and the humiliating defeat he had at the hands of his templars, and his utter disdain and subjugation for him and mages in general immediately came to mind. Elsu&rsquo;s insistence on learning more than just magic and constant idiotic pushing for incorporating non magical methods to solve issues. Finally the stark reminder of how everyone of his so-called friends, except Yori, had seen the magical dominance timeline as &ldquo;evil&rdquo; rather than the way everything should be, gradually caused his anger to rise. And as his eyes narrowed, looking down at his hands, the fact that all of these were things that interfered with the ways he and Yori knew life to be, that magic and mages are superior to everyone else, Ixen finally found his answer. But unknowingly to Ixen, a part of him died at that moment. </strong><br />---<br /><br /><strong>The next day, the news spread like wildfire, over 40 dead overnight, all of the mage knights that had previously been in custody found to have had their hearts pierced through directly. Without anyone on staff, all of them died due to internal bleeding. Many department mages were at the scene, as Silgas did his best to deflect any reports of the department being involved in such an incident. </strong><br /><br /><strong>It didn&rsquo;t take long before they came to Ixen, who slept peacefully for the first time in the last couple days, no anger or vitrole to wake him up. The nightmares mostly gone and the smile on his face that he had to do his best to hide as department members brought him in for questioning. </strong><br /><br /><strong>Thanks to Yori&rsquo;s spell, there were no ways to pin it directly on him, as no traces of magic were detected, and with another spell he learned prior, Ixen found himself able to get through detection without issue. Still, he was kept in confinement for a couple weeks before eventually being released. With no answers or leads, the investigation was called off eventually and put in the back as an unresolved case. </strong><br /><br /><strong>While the department were chastised for their failings and the fact that Ixen was the main suspect, many citizens across Edarel lowered their expectations on the department itself, much to Silgas&rsquo; warnings. What was not predicted was the increase in Ixen&rsquo;s popularity for the job done. Though the verdict was that there was too little evidence to suggest Ixen was responsible, public opinion on the garnet dragon increased as many citizens were thankful someone finally gave those non mages what they deserved. </strong><br /><br /><strong>As Ixen mulled over the incident, the first taste of criminal activity lapped across his tongue. He got away with it, in part thanks to Yori. The thought of doing good and trying to do what was right only served to cause more problems. But one simple act, though against the law, solved so many. </strong><br /><br /><strong>The stout reptile closed his eyes as he let the thoughts of his hatred towards them fill his mind, before seeing them all dead in a flash. The thought caused a smile to creep over his maw, as the words formed in his head, ones that would begin to shape his actions now and for the foreseeable future. </strong><br /><br />&ldquo;This was true justice. Not the department. Not the mage knights. The only one who can administer justice in this world is me&hellip;&rdquo;</span>",
