Deep within a forest was a small house. It sat nestled safely between the trees. There were no roads around, so the path was always your own to make. Behind the home was a clearing, surrounded by tall trees and exposed to the open skies. It was decorated by a large amount of flowers of many varieties. Within the home, a small human boy slowly awoke. He gave out as big of a yawn as he could, clenching both fists in the air above him in a satisfying stretch. Wiping a single tear from his sleepy eyes and pulling off a long strand of golden yellow fur stuck to his baby-blue shirt, he looked around. Mom and Dad were nowhere to be seen on the large bed he sat up in. Pulling the blanket covering his bare legs and feet, he looked down at the diaper he constantly depended on. It obvious at first glance that he was completely soaked, the squishy interior still warm from the heat of the blanket and it's once pristine and white surface having turned more yellow in color as far as he could see it. He gently rocked himself left and right, to find that the squishiness had even managed to make its reach completely between his legs. This must have been a new record in just a single night. Soggy as he was, his ever reliable padding kept the bed completely clean and dry, so he had nothing to worry about as he scooted his way towards the edge of the bed. The bed occupied its own space within the wall, with an opening to the main room of the home. A curtain which usually concealed the bed space from the outside had been left opened. Now at the edge of the bed, the little human dangled his legs off the side, pushing himself off the matress where he landed on the small rug at the bottom with a gentle thud. Looking around, the house didn't have too much. The front door to the home was on the wall opposite the bed's entry. To his right was a living space, one corner of the hardwoord floor covered in small, colorful carpeting where various toys lied scattered about and a game console sat plugged into a small television. The only other thing of note was the kitchen, which sat in the far back of the living area. The child wanted to sit down and play video games, but figured he ought to find his parents before his soggy diaper became too cold and clammy. He began to walk his way towards the front, making awkward steps as his diaper had swollen to a degree he wasn't quite used to, and it weighed a fair amount heavier than he'd prefer. His feet lightly clapped against the hardwood flooring with every step as he made his way to the front door, pushing it open and stepping down the steps of the porch. He stepped onto the grass, taking in the fresh forest air. It became routine of him to look around every time he left the house, taking in his surroundings. He was so tiny, but the trees were massive and looked to rise up forever, yet enough sunlight seeped through them that he could see just fine in the daylight. Patches of flowers sprouted up here and there, all bright in colors and some of them even glowing. One side of the house was covered in ivy, as if nature itself was protecting their home. The place felt like a fairytale to the young boy. Remembering he wanted to find his parents, he started to walk. He didn't make it more than a few steps when a deep, yet friendly voice caught him off guard from behind. "Hey there, tiger! Where is my pup running off to?". Apon hearing this, a large smile grew on the child's face. He jumped, turning around in excitement. Before him stood an Arcanine, towering over the little human and smiling warmly. "I see you had a good sleep, champ! Me and Momma tried to wake you, but you just didn't wanna open your eyes!" The Arcanine said with a laugh. "We dug up a new spot to plant some flowers, and Momma thought maybe you'd want to help her this time." The child noticed the dirt on his daddy's front paws, but more importantly: he was surprised to hear Momma wanted help with the flowers. She was very protective of her garden in the clearing. He remembers the long list of rules she sternly told him to follow if he ever came through there and that it wasn't a place for playing. "So what are you waiting for, buddy? We don't wanna keep her waiting too long!" Daddy Arcanine spoke with excitement, trying to get the boy hyped for a quick ride. He kneeled forward, as he typically would. He usually just let the boy latch onto his face for quick and easy carrying, saving his back for longer rides. The human hopped up, straddling the Arcanne's muzzle and clutching the longer fur protruding off his head. "Oh." Daddy Arcanine said, now realizing how wet the boy was with his diaper so close to his nose. "Well, good thing we're headed for-" he began, but was interupted. The child felt a familiar pressure in his belly. Without thinking, he clutched his father's fur even tighter giving his gut a quick push. Speed was definitely on his side, as a surprisingly solid mess evacuated his rear end. A lump breifly pushed out from the butt of his diaper as it quickly slid down, vanishing as the padding resumed its usual shape. "Oh boy..." Arcanine said nervously. "You've never done that right here before, I guess there's a first time for everything, huh?" Arcanine recovered his composure as to maintain a friendly demeanor for his son. "Well, let's hurry and get you to Momma then. Hold tight... and we're off!" Daddy Arcanine pranced at a moderately quick pace towards the clearing. He didn't dare run full speed as his boy would surely lose his grip and fall. The little human laughed and cheered with delight, letting off occasional Yays and Woos as his small vocabulary allowed. Finally they reached the clearing. Flowers of all kinds brightened up the green grass. In the middle, before a patch of soil, a bright yellow figure had noticed them approaching. It turned and began to walk gracefully to greet the arriving pair. Honey! Look who's finally out of bed!" Daddy Arcanine called out to the Ninetales. "Our little prince has a stinky. We thought maybe you could fix him up?" "Well, it seems he does." The Ninetales spoke, raising a paw to her mouth with a giggle. "Even with all these flowers around, you can't hide anything from my nose. Alright then, set him down for me. Nice and gentl-" He words came a tad late, as the little boy slipped just barely before his feet touched the ground. He fell and landed softly on his behind. He was ok, but inside his diaper, the damage had been done. "Uhh... whoops." Daddy Arcanine said, his usually perky ears now drooping. "That... might make your job a little harder..." "Oh goodness." The Ninetales spoke, clearly irritated. "I know you two love to roughouse, but these are things you need to be gentle with..." She said with a sigh, walking around towards the young human's legs, who now lay in the grass on his back. She stood over him, her crimson eyes always soothing to the boy. "Well, little one. Time for a diaper change." She spoke to him in her usual gentle tone with a smile on her face. Daddy Arcanine sat behind her, smiling as well. A moment of awkward silence passed before Momma Ninetales broke it. "Honey?" She spoke to the Arcanine. "Don't you think were's missing something?" The Arcanine shook his head, snapping back into reality. "Wha- Oh... Oh!" He said, realising what was missing. "Right, I'll be right back!" He said, dashing off as an orange blur. The force of his running shook the flowers he ran by violently and Mommma Ninetales' fur stood on its end, watching them sway in horror before finally settling down. "Whew" She sighed, opening her eyes and focusing on her son. "Your father can be really silly at times... but I honestly wouldn't have him any other way..." A smile forming on her face. He tails all waving up and down in a mesmirizing pattern behind her. "Anyway..." Momma spoke, coming out of her daydream. "How is my little kit doing?" She said in a more playful tone, kneeling down over the child and licking him on the nose and face. He giggled and kicked his little feet in delight and she began to affectionately rub his chest with her head. The boy wrapped his arms around the Ninetales' head as best as he could. Stroking his fingers through the long hair on her head and scratching his little fingernails behind her ears. She wouldn't say it, but her son knew she loved having her ears scratched by the movement of her tails as he did it. His bare legs brushed against her fur and the two of them enjoyed the moment they had to bond. Daddy finally returned, a basket handle clutched in his mouth. The basket itself stocked neatly with several diapers and other changing supplies. Momma Ninetales raised her head back up. "Welcome back, sweetheart." She greeted her love, already over the irritation she felt before. Her words and tone seemed to melt the large firetype, as he was beaming. Through all that thick fur, it was clear he was blushing. The human stared at his adoptive parents as his mother's eyes began to glow, from a bright crimson red, to a more purplish color. An aura began to glow around items within the basket, matching her eyes in color. A fresh diaper, baby wipes and a bottle of powder seemingly lifted themselves out of the basket, drifting towards the boy. An audibly ripping sound of velcro graced his ears as he felt the tightness of his swolen diaper become relieved. The human looked at his dad, who looked shocked as the boy's skin finally met fresh air. Momma Ninetales was completely unphased by what she saw, and continued her work. In just a few minutes, he felt the moist and cool wipes against his delicate area, and the scent of baby powder hit his nostrils as a clean diaper was slid under his bum. Folding itself over his front, the tapes quickly and precislely fastened onto it at just the right precision. "Aaaand done~" Momma sang, as the protective bulk of a clean diaper felt complete around the toddler. "He's gotten a lot better at holding still." Daddy Arcanine commented. "Mmmhmm." Mom spoke. "And good behavior deserves a reward! I wanted to plant some new flowers here, but I just can't decide what to plant..." Momma said, walking towards the freshly tilled soil. The boy got up, following her. Daddy Arcanine right behind him. "So I thought maybe you could help me today. Not only do you get to pick the flowers, but you get to plant them yourself." She pointed her paw at a variety of seed packets in another basket. The human approached the basket. Shuffling through the different packets. He returned to his parents, holding two packets of seeds. He didn't know what kind of flowers they were, but one was orange, and the other yellow. He chose them because the colors reminded him of his loving mom and dad. "These two?" The Ninetales said. "I think this will work... what do you think, sweetheart?" "I like them!" The Arcanine spoke happily. "Then it's settled. Let me show you how to do it." Momma Ninetales said. The boy got to work, digging evenly spaced holes and dropping seeds in, his adoptive parents watched side by side. They were both proud of the little human they had in their life.
