The higher floors near the Wall had pretty intense winds, and for safety reasons, were required to have a shield up at all times that cut the wind. But cutting the wind was no fun!\n\nStrong winds were nice, they made you feel alive. It was the same reason she loved to go out in the ocean, especially when the waves were big. It was just so much fun to be knocked over by the waves. Even if her caretakers just watched from the shore and yelled things silly things like 'come back' and 'you're too far' and 'there's a riptide'. She was fine! She knew how to swim! Hmph.\n\nSo, finding herself alone in the apartment... she disabled the shield and stood upon the balcony, letting the wind buffet her fur. After a moment, she headed inside again, and stripped down to her bare fur before heading out again, just smiling as she could feel every bit of the breeze against her. It was cold, but that's what fur was fur, right?\n\nIn a moment, the winds died down, and Poly hopped onto the railing. Then she looked down and realized this was a terrible idea, and before she could hop off of it, the winds kicked up again. Oh, [i]no[/i]. She had no choice but to hold on as tightly as she could with her legs and her paws, feeling herself be buffeted. Her hips ground into the pole some - the pole was cold, too! But it felt funny, and made her shiver just a little.. but she was pretty distracted by other things at the moment. \n\nFor a moment in time, the winds died down, and her hair fell down against her back again. She released her death straddle on the paneling just a little. Now was the time to climb off, before the winds picked up again. Maybe.
