In addition, these acts are rarely considered 'core' memories, so they're typically rather quickly archived... leading to her having to do them again.  There's nothing more annoying than 'knowing' something, but not knowing why you know it!  So she looks again~!\n\nGiven a person is the sum of their experiences, it's strictly forbidden to change a person's memories. Any hypothesis or such is strictly temporary, as a person's memory is a contiguous record from birth to now and cannot be edited.  Picking and choosing what memories are 'core' memories are a bit of a loophole that the Storytellers use as more of a heavier hammer when required.  It's very useful when, say, ensuring that a girl always maintains her innocent demeanour~!  \n\nAt the moment, though, Poly is content to explore herself again, then get dressed, have breakfast, and then maybe flop on her bed all day and look out the window at the clouds before going out to play outside.
