You wake up again at 5am. Taking you phone to send a 'good morning' to your mom and see she already texted you.
"Morning Sam, how are you? Are you enjoying your time at your auntie's?"
"Morning mum, yeah, they are really nice and I've been playing a lot with Bluey and Bingo. Yesterday they took me to the park, and I beat uncle Bandit at running for mocking me in checkers. They also introduced me to the kids from the street."
A couple minutes later she answers you. "I'm glad you are having fun. I gotta go, I have a test right now. Love you Sam, take care!"
"Love you too, mum S2 <3"
With that you sigh and go back to scrolling the web, watching a couple videos and waiting for breakfast. Around 6:30, your cousins knock on your door and tell you to go eat. This time you gotta ask your auntie for coffe, otherwise cleaning Doreen's house will be a pain. Walking down the stairs you're met with your uncle and greet him.

"Good morning uncle Bandit."
"Morning Sam, ready for a day of work? We have a lot of cleaning to do around the house."
"Oh right, I can help after I clean Doreen's house. I talked to her yesterday and she agreed to hire me."
"Oh really?! You're really impressive mate!"
"Thanks! Oh, can I have coffee instead of juice today?"
"Ain't you too young for that?" He asks you with a inquisitive look.
"Well, I've been drinking it since the orphanage, really wakes me up."
"Hm, if you say so, sure."
Arriving at the kitchen you seat at the table and talk to your cousins. Bandit pours your coffee despite Chilli's concerns, and you eat your toasts along with the coffee.
Bluey turns to you and asks. "So Sam, what do you wanna play today?"
"I'm kinda busy in the morning, I have to clean your neighbor's Doreen house. After that I said I would help your parents with cleaning your's. So I will only get to play later, sorry."
"But why do you have to clean houses?! Working is boring!"
Bingo than nudges Bluey and whispers. "He told us why Bluey!"
Bluey remembers why you're doing it. "Oh that's right, you need the money fo-"
"Bluey!"
"Bluey!" You and Bingo prevent her from spoiling your secret at the last second. "Sorry!"
"Oh no! You have to tells us now Bluey!" Bandit tells her playfully. "Why does Sam needs the money?"
"For nothing!"
"It can't be for nothing sweetie." Chilli enter's the play. "Come on, tell us!"
"Uh..." Bluey looks she is almost spilling the beans, so you look at her and give your best puppy eyes.
"He needs it to buy candy!" Bluey says nervously.
"Yes, he wants to buy candy for everyone in his orphanage!" Bingo completes Bluey story.
Bandit and Chilli chuckle at the obvious lie. "That's so noble of you Sam! I'm sure everyone will be happy because of you." Bandit tells you and Chilli winks. After that everyone just talks until they had finished eating, you help with the dishes and grab your phone to leave the house.

"Well, I better get going, don't want to keep Doreen waiting."
"Sure thing, good luck with your work kid." Bandit tells you.
"Bye Sam!" Bluey and Bingo tell you.
"Til later Sam." Chilli tells you.
You open the door and walk to Doreen's house, knocking on the door and soon she greets you.
"Oh, good morning Sam, I'm so glad you came. I was in a dire need of help with the chores!"
"The pleasure is all mine, Doreen. You're my first client and I will make sure to do my best!"
"Well, then, I will go get the tools so you can get to work." Doreen tells you as she walks to a closet and pull a broom, a mop, some cloths and towel along with cleaning products.
You take them and start to plan things out. Starting with the dusting first, you take a cloth and start to go through the house, followed by sweeping the floor since you threw all the dust into it and finish by mopping it to clean any dirty spot left. You do that to all of the rooms in the house and proceed to clean the windows, using a cloth and one of the cleaning products Doreen has handed you.
After having cleaned all the windows you don´t see anything more you can do and head back to Doreen.
"Hey Doreen I think I'm done. Do you need anything else?"
Doreen thinks for a moment. "Well, I could use some help with my backyard, but we can leave it for another day. For now, here is your payment!" She tells handing you 40 dollars. "I decided to add a little more considering how hard you will working in your school break, keep it up!"
"Thank you Doreen! If you could tell the neightbors about me tha would really help."
"I will make sure to set a good image of you." she tells you patting your head.

After that you go back to your aunt's home, as you enter you find Chilli using the vacuum cleaner on the floor as Bluey plays with legos on the couch.
"Need help with something?" you ask her.
"Sure, your uncle is mowing the grass, so you can clean the windows, let me get you a cloth." She says walking into the corridor. "How was the job at Doreen's?"
"It was great, she even paid more!" You tell cheerfully.
"Really? How much did she pay you?"
"40 dollars."
"WHAT!" Bluey jumps from the couch! "You got 40 dollarbucks already!!! Mum, can I clean the house too?!"
"Hahaha! I can show you how it's done, but you gotta have to wait a couple more years to actually do something."
"Oh, but I want money now..."
"Sorry sweetie, this is just how things go. Besides, you wouldn't want to spend so much time doing something that is not playing, right Bluey?"
"Yeah, you're right..."
"Well, let's get to work, right Sam? The sooner we finish, the sooner you can go play with your cousins."
"Sure!"
You're given a cloth and a spray, and get to clean the windows. It doesn't take long and soon you're finished, Chilli hands you 15 bucks.
"Good work Sam." She says patting you head just like Doreen.
"Thank you auntie."
"Now go play with Bluey while I prepare the lunch, you deserve some fun."
"Uh-huh." You nod and walk away.
As you enter the living room, you see that Bingo has finished helping Bandit with taking the cut grass out. "
Hey Bluey, hey Bingo, what are you playing?"
"Hey Sam, we're building a hotel with the legos, want to help?" Bingo tells you.
"Sure." You start to build some furniture to place inside of the hotel and Bluey laughs at you.
"Is there something on my face?" You ask putting your hands on each side.
"No, it's just that you dance while building, just like when you were cleaning the windows."
"Haha! Really?"
"Yeah, mum had to bit her lips not to laugh at you swaying you tail left and right! Hehehe!"
"Well, I guess I'm pretty funny then." You three keep building the hotel until you're called to lunch.

As you're eating, you are talking to Bandit about how things are at your school and how you like learning stuff. Meanwhile, Bingo and Bluey are trying to think of something you can play. Asking their mother for ideas.
"We could go to the beach!" Bluey says.
"Bluey, we can't just go to the beach, we need to plan before." Chilli tells her.
"We could go play Squash!" Bingo says.
"Maybe some other day, how about something we can play at home for now?" Chilli suggests.
"Oh, I know! We could play musical statues!" Bluey suggests brightly.
"That's a great idea! Now eat you greens, so you have energy for later."
"Argh, but I don't want to!"
"Well, if you want to have energy to play or to grow strong so you can work like Sam, you will have to!" Chilli teases Bluey.
"Awnnn..." Bluey whines sadly.

Lunch time is over, and before Bluey can even suggest to play musical statues Chilli stops her.
"Bluey, we just ate, if you danced, you'd get your stomach upset. We will play later."
"Awnn, but I wanna play now!"
"You can play something else right now, I'm sure you, Bingo and Sam can think of something."
"We can play library!" Bingo says.
"Oh yeah!"
"Do you want to play library with us Sam?" Bingo asks you.
"Sure."
"Hooray!"
"How do you play library?" You ask them.
"Oh, it's easy, I will be the book lady, you can pick a book, read it and then return it."
"Oh, okay." Bluey and Bingo start turning the living room into a 'library'. Setting up a counter, a pile of books, some lego blocks as stamps. Once everything is ready, Bluey then gets on the other side of the counter and states.
"The library is open!"
Bingo walks up, with a couple of picture books. "I'd like to borrow these books, please."
"Okay!" Bluey says, stamping the books and handing then to Bingo. "Happy reading."

You look around, searching for a book to read. Honestly, you heard your uncle was a paleontologist, so you could read one of his books about it. Looking around you find a book called 'Report on Paleontology Vol.3', that seems good enough. You take it to Bluey and she stamps it, and hand it to you.
"There you go, you're a smart one, eh?" She tells you.
"Yup, big brain." You say knocking on your head, making her and Bingo laugh.
You start reading, Bingo return and borrow books a couple times, while you read the one book you borrowed. Eventually, Chilli and Bandit come downstairs and see you three playing. Bandit sees the book in your hand and looks surprised.
"Hey kid, you understanding anything from it?" He asks sitting beside you on the couch.
"Well, I didn't read from the start, I choose to read the chapter 'Distribution of trophic energy and correlation to digging sites.' and the 'Morphological disparities in the dental crown structure." You tell him.
"Yeah, but what does it MEAN for you?" He questions you curious.
"That... The places with more food available will have more fossils, and the type of teeth found in those can lead to a better understanding of the food chain, and, species expected to be found."
Bluey and Bingo look at you as if you were an alien. Bandit on the other hand claps happily at you.
"Bravo! That's exactly what it says, we expect to find so many things based on these researches, as well as where to look for fossils! You're brilliant for you age mate!" He says pulling you close to a hug and roughly patting your head.
"Sam, can you explain to me what you told dad?" Bingo asks curious and kinda intrigued.
"Well, if you were looking for someone that only eat pizzas, where would you look: a pizzeria or a chinese take out?" You try creating an analogy for Bingo.
"The... pizzeria?"
"Exactly! You're just as smart as Sam!" Bandit says picking Bingo up and making her laugh. "Chilli, our family is full of geniuses!"
"Of course it is honey." She says while chuckling.
"I'm not a genius!" Bluey says with a denying tone.
"Of course you are." You tell her.
"No, I'm no-" Before she can finish you quickly say.
"Genius says 'what?'."
"What?" Bluey says confused for a second. "Oh biscuits, this doesn't count, you cheated!" She exclaims, making everyone laugh.

Chilli then stands up and stretches, then clearing her throat.
"I think we have enough reading for today, how about some dancing?!"
"Hooray!" Bingo and Bluey say excited.
"Great, return those books and let's do something more fun!" You and Bingo return the books, and then you three begin to put everything back in their place. Chilli and Bandit move the furniture so there's space for everyone to play musical statues.
"Okay, who's first to play the music?" Bluey asks and Bandit goes for it.
"Let's see what we are working with." He picks up his phone and connects to a speaker. "I will start with some pop songs."
Music starts playing and everyone dances, you're not such a good dancer, but you do your best. Shaking your body and moving your feet, trying to mimic your cousins as best as you can. As you dance you realize something, you have no idea how do you play this game...
"Uh, Bluey, how you play the game?"
"You dance while there's music, and when it stops you-" she stops talking abruptly and stands still as the music stops playing.
"What?" You say still dancing.
"You stop like a statue." Bandit says smiling smugly at you. "And you lost, no points for you!" Bingo can't hold her laughter and moves. "Ah-ha! You too Bingo!"
"Oh, I see." You say frowning with a evil smile.
Bandit puts the music back on and the two girls get back to dancing. Bandit then stops the music when Chilli was on one leg and Bluey wins.
"Can I play the music now?!" You ask hoping for revenge.
"Sure, let's see what you got." Bandit hands you the phone with the same smug smile.
"Bandit." Chilli says with a playfully stern tone and your uncle rolls his eyes. What he doesn't know, is that one of the kids from your school was a musician, and once she spent weeks talking about 3/4 songs and how hard it is to follow the tempo. You search for one of those songs and it start playing, and your family start dancing. You count the beats.

Once an odd beat pops up, you stop the song, everyone is caught off guard except Bluey for your surprise.
"Almost! You're really good at this Bluey, how do you do it?"
"I don't know! How did you make everyone lose at the same time?" She asks really excited at your technique.
"Oh, this is something a girl said once in school. I just know this song is hard." You lie, not wanting to share your secret to victory.
"I gotta hand to you Sam, you really know how to get back at people, huh?" Bandit says standing his hand. As you go shake it, he darts and tickles your neck making you burst into chuckles.
"Not on my level though." He says and your cousins laugh.
"Come on honey, stop messing with the kid for five minutes, will you?"
*Sight* "Sure thing boss. You got lucky kid!" He tells you.
"Can I play it next!?" Bingo asks asks really excited.
"Here you go." You say handing her the phone.
Bingo put some silly music and you dance moving just as silly. She stops at random moments and Chilli is the first to lose.
"I need to exercise more, hehehe..." She says as she moves away from the dance floor.
Bingo puts the music back on, you barely move and she stops again. Easily catching you off guard and making you the second to lose.
"It happens." Moving out of the dance floor, she resumes playing.
This time it takes four stops to make Bandit lose and give Bluey her third win in a row.
"Aw, biscuits!" Bandit says looking at Bluey. "You will go down! Bingo let me at it again!"
"Not so fast, I didn't have a go, and neither did Bluey." Chilli stops him. "Can I have a go Bingo?" She asks politely and Bingo hands the phone to her.
"Awn..." Bandit tries using the puppy eyes on his wife.
"Not happening." She says drily with a calm smile. "I haven't forgot that you made me lose by making me stop in one leg."
He makes a terrifeid expression on his face, and you and your cousins laugh at him looking scared of his wife.
"Let's get this over with, dad." Bluey tells him pulling him into the dance floor.
The music starts playing and you can see the fear in Bandit's eyes. He turns his back to Chilli and as soon as he is in a unbalanced position she stops the music. Bandit barely holds himself up, and Chilli goes really close to check if he is perfectly still. At this scene, Bingo can't hold her laughter and moves.
The music plays once again, and you three go back to dancing. This time she stops the music when Bluey is in a bad position, getting really close to see if she is moving. The music resumes, just as it's about to end, she stops when Bandit is at one leg and he falls.
"Got ya!" She says smugly. "Now about you!" She turns to you quickly and tries to startle you.
You hold yourself strong, but her expression is too funny and you lose yourself to giggles. "You got me... Hehehe!"
"I win! Hooray!" Bluey says excitedly.
The game go on for an hour more, and Bluey was the final winner.

"Well, I gonna prepare the dinner. Bandit, can you give Bluey and Bingo a shower?"
"Sure thing, honey. Come on kids!" He takes both in his arms.
"Noooo! I don't wanna take a bath!" Bluey complains.
Chilli the turns to you. "Do you wanna help me with the dinner?"
"Okay." Following her to the kitchen she looks around.
"What are we having for dinner?" You ask her.
"I don't know, I'm thinking about it."
"I see."
"I wish I could have you..." You hear her murmur quietly.
Hearing her say that made you remember the tale of Hensel and Gretel, and decide to play a little.
"What! So that's why mum was distant from you! You're a witch that eats children!!!" You say with a playfull smile.
She chuckles. "Yes! You found out!" She answers just as playfully. "But you are not what I expected! You're not fat, and since you run so much your meat must be tough to chew!" She lifts her arms in a menacing pose and then strikes to your belly to tickle you.
"Argh! Hahahaha!" Laughing and thrashing around. "No! Stop you evil monster!!! Hahaha!"
She let's you go and decides what will be the dinner. Some time later, Bandit enters the kitchen and tells you the bathroom is free for you to use. You nod and go upstairs to take your bath, closing the bathroom door you take a long look at it.

It's closed, you can't have left it open this time. You should go take your bath, and when you come back it will be closed.
You go take your bath. After a hard day of work, and playing with your family, you're all sweaty and dirty. Taking baths feel so good after days like these.
You made $55 bucks in one day, surely you will get enough to buy a new TV for your mum. She will be so happy with the surprise. Maybe you can get enough to buy something for yourself, you really want to play video games.
You soap your fur and scrub every nook and crany of your body. You want to play minecraft, everyone says it's so good. You like cars, so maybe a car game too? Maybe you can buy yourself a PC and have a little bit of everything. You heard you can play newer and older games on PC.
Rinsing the soap from your fur and you can already feel yourself getting cleaner. Maybe you can get mom to let you play some violent games, even if they are for older kids. GTA sounds really fun! You hear your friends from school talking so much about it.
You apply shampoo and wash your hair. Mum wouldn't keep me from having fun right? She would let me play it for sure... Or maybe not, she is too responsible for it.
You rince the shampoo and leave the shower. Drying yourself off and walking to the door, it's open.
