The girl looked around the unfamiliar hallways and whimpered a bit. The heavy blush tinged her khaki colored fur. With a sigh she looked down to the slip of paper that listed the classrooms and teachers for each of her classes. The feline headed off towards what she though she remembered to be the right way. Meko gasped as she felt the sudden impact of the large male collie. 

	"Hey watch it you little bitch." he said and shoved her back. Meko yelped loudly as she found herself on her backside pushed back against the locker. The collie and his friends smirked as he walked over to her. "What do you say when you run into people?" he asked growling down at her. A small smirk formed as he watched his friends chuckle.

	"I dunno, I I'm sorry." she yelped out more and tried to hide her face. The collie smirked and patted her head roughly. "That's good, remember it next time." he said and started to walk off with his friends the poor kitten girl starting to sob. The female tigress saw the whole scene and was soon kneeling down next to the girl. 

	"You alright hun? I don't see any bad bruises or blood." she said with a gently and comforting voice. "There the local jerks'r'us around here." the curvy feline side and started to stand up with the brown furred feline. Meko nodded a bit still slightly dazed as she looked around. "Don't worry, they won't mess with you as long as I'm here," she added to her soothing words. 

	Hayle was a curvy white tigress, and was quite popular around the school. "I'm Hayle, Hayle Havourwelk." she said and offered one of her paws to the other feline. The smaller brown furred feline looked to the paw and extended her own to shake it. "Meko, I'm Meko." the girl answered and let a soft smile join her soft purr. 

	The smaller feline looked to the bigger tigress and purred a bit more. "Can you uh help me with this?" she said fumbling for her class schedule. Hayle smirked and grabbed it looking it over. "Oooh not a bad  schedule here hun. " she said and mentally plotted out each classroom number. "Oh your first class is just a few doors down. Come on." she said and started to walk down the hallway towards her first classroom. The two arrived at the appropriate class and Meko looked up to her. 

	"Will you uh, maybe help me next class?" she asked with a soft whimper. The tigress let out a chuckle, "Sure hun, just meet me right here." she said and gave a soft wave of her paw as she headed off to her own class.

	After fifty-five minutes of algebra Meko was ready to see that friendly striped face again. She stood outside next to the door as she waited for her friend to make it back to show her the way.  Hayle smiled as she chatted with a few of her friends on the way to the kitten. "Hey you ready hun? Lemme see that schedule again." she said and looked over it once the feline had procured it for her. Hayle clicked her tongue a bit looking over it. "Well we have lunch next and you can come eat with me and my friends if you want, if you don't mind eating at the loser table." she said and snickered sticking her tongue out at her friends. 

	Meko gasped a bit and blushed before nodding a bit. "It'd be an honour Miss Havourwelk." she said and purred. Hayle let out a loud little giggle. "Oh please, just Hayle is fine." she said and started to walk towards the cafeteria with her friends before looking back to see the little feline girl standing there started to whimper. "You coming or what?" she asked and the smaller start to jog to catch up. 

	The group of people all sat down with their respective lunch items and started to chat about the day and other social events. The little feline looked around a bit nervously before taking a small bite of her sandwich. With a purr the tiger looked to the smaller feline and smiled. "So is this your first day," she asked, "you seem kinda new here hun?" she asked. 

	Meko nodded a bit and smiled at her. "Yeah we just moved here." she said and went back to chewing on her sandwich. Hayle nodded and smiled a bit as she chewed on a bit of her own sandwich. "Well as long as you try and stay away from those jerks you should be alright. If you see any of us or my brother just go to them and they'll make sure they leave you alone." the tiger said and smirked as her younger brother walked up and stole the bag of chips from her lunch. "Alexi! Damnit, get your own, you could have packed your own lunch." she growled playfully.

	The male tiger smirked and stuck out his tongue. "Yeah but taking yours tastes better!" he said and started to mow down on the chips. "Oh hello, I haven't met you before." he said and looked to the brown  furred feline next to him. The smaller feline looked up to the tiger and blushed heavily looking away. "Hehe, it's okay, no need to be scared." he said and ruffled her hair before looking back to the rest of the group. Meko let out a squeak as the hand ruffled her hair and she looked to the big tiger blushing deeper.

	"Meko. Meko," she said trying to talk but the words seemed to fail her. "Hmm?" he asked and looked to her as he chomped another handful of the crisps. "Meko, I'm Meko." she finally managed to get out blushing darker looking away. "Oh well nice to meet you, seems you already know my sister and most of the gang." he said and smirked. "I'ma make a drink run who wants what." he asked getting up to head to the convenience story just around the corner from the school. 

	Once the male tiger had left Meko stammered a bit before looking to Hayle. "That's your brother?" she asked and blushed heavily. "Alexi?" she asked, "Yeah he's a bit of a dork but he's family, once you get past his silliness you learn to like him."  Meko nodded and looked to the side a bit. "What if I already do?" she asked and looked to her nervously. "Oh, he's really likable, so not surprised almost everyone likes him." Meko shook her head and blushed more. "I mean I like him like him." she said and hid her face in her paws. 

	Hayle let out a loud chuckled and most of the group added in. "Oh, I see, well he isn't with anyone right now so you're free to ask him out!" she said with a giggle. Meko blushed and let out a few small squeaks trying to talk. 

	Alexi showed back up with the bag full of drinks and the small brown furred feline dove under the table panting a bit as her blush started to sink back in. Alexi smirked as he set the drinks down and knelt down next to the table and purred a bit. "You okay down there?" the big tiger asked and smiled. Meko jumped a bit and smacked her head on the bottom of the table. Alexi stifled a laugh and grabbed the girl under her armpits setting her on the seat of the bench. "Any reason you were trying to hide from me?" he asked. 

	The feline stuttered and stumbled over the words before Hayle leaned in and whispered into his ear. Alexi smiled a bit warmly before looking back to the girl. "Alright alright you convinced me, you can take me out tonight, but you better be ready at 7 to take me to the movies." he said and smirked a bit before taking his own drink and popping the tab and taking a chug. 

	Several hours later Alexi pulled into the driveway and got out walking to the door and knocking on it softly. He wore a simple pair of khaki cargo shorts and a lime green polo shirt. On his feet a pair of custom skater style sneakers and a cap on his head. He pulled off his sunglasses and whistled a bit waiting for the answer.

	The feline answered the door looking up to her date and blushed as she saw his form standing there. She wore a simple blue dress in a lighter sky shade reflecting what was left of the sunshine of it. The tiger smiled a bit and purred as he looked over it. "Wow, you clean up pretty well babe." he said and offered her the crook of his elbow as he walked to to his car.

	The two arrived at the theatre and found theirs seats. Alexi happily munching on some popcorn as Meko looked around fidgeting half from excitement and half from embarrassment. Alexi took a long slurp from his drink before the theatre started to dim down and start to roll previews. Before two long the movie started to get into the good part, Meko finding herself snuggled under the arm of the big tiger using his hand to hide herself from scary scenes. Alexi just let out a happy and comforting purr as he watched the movie with her. 

	After the movie Alexi smiled as he pulled into the parking lot of his favourite Mexican place to eat. He escorted her inside and sat her down before looking over the menu and helping her to decide what she wanted. Idle chit-chat filled the conversation as they ate and relaxed. "Dessert?" Alexi asked and looked to the girl. "Oh no, I'm rather full." she said and let out a tiny burp before blushing. "Oh dear." 

	Alexi chuckled and smirked as the check came. He paid and took her back to the car with a smile as he sat her inside and slid across the hood like the old cops used to do in the old crime dramas getting a chuckled out of Meko. He got in the driver's seat and smiled as he started it up and headed home to her place. Once there he smiled and hopped out to get her door and help her up to the porch. "Well I do have to say, you know how to give a gentleman a wonderful evening," he said and smirked happily. "Play your cards right and you might get to kiss me goodnight." he said playfully and swished his tail happily. 

	Meko blushed heavily and looked away a bit nervously before she felt the brush of his lips on her cheek sending her into a heavy pant looking to him. "You are a rather beautiful girl and I'd be happy to spend another night with you any time." he said and purred deeply and soothingly. Meko nodded as it was all she could manage to do still flushed from the kiss. Alexi walked back to his car and started it waving as he started to pull out.

	Meko waved back purring loudly and happily before heading inside and flopping on the couch panting and giggling happily. She was soon off to bed having happy dreams and waking up well rested.

	As she walked into the  hallways she saw Alexi and Hayle along with the rest of their friends. Joining them she smiled and stood next to Alexi and Hayle purring deeply as she looked over her new acquaintaces and friends.
