"writing": "The weekend that followed Klaus’s heart to heart confession with Lukan was one of the best weekends Lukan has ever had up to that point in his life. It was spent on some of the same things Lukan had always done, but this time it was with someone who meant something to him more than just a family member. Such a small change made such a big difference in meaning. Him and Klaus spent the vast majority of the weekend in each other’s company, talking out their lives and how they intended to improve them. How their past was and how it shaped them to be the creatures they are today. What being together might shape them to be in the near to immediate and far to distant futures. They wanted to go to restaurants and the movies to have bona fide dates, but neither of them had the money to do so. Lukan didn’t care; he just wanted to be with Klaus. Lukan couldn’t help but just be lost in his presence. It’s like his entire personality had shifted the second he started going out with Klaus. He was a lot more energetic, more optimistic, and wasn’t afraid to talk. ...But only around Klaus. The second the otter had left his life for anything like home or school, Lukan’s mind instantly switched back the super introverted, nervous wreck he always was before. It was like Klaus was a magic drug that took all his problems away, but wasn’t actually damaging to his health. \n\nMonday, September 9, 2013\n\nAlas, when the weekend was over, Lukan felt as if it had ever happened. There was something different however. It was the knowledge that it had happened, and that it would soon happen again. Now on the morning of September 9, Lukan would return to school to continue his educational path. It was a cooler morning. Seems the seasons had finally snapped out of it and realized what time of year it was. The high temperature for that day was projected to be in the low 80s. Finally, something that sounds about right for the year. Still, Lukan knew it was going to be hot regardless. \nAs Lukan left his apartment complex to catch the bus that stopped at the middle school behind his house, he was surprised to find that Klaus’s truck was sitting along the median in the parking lot. No parking signs were painted on the curb, clear as day. What in the world was he doing here now…?\nLukan approached the vehicle slowly and said, “Klaus?” The window rolled down to reveal the otter beaming down at him. Lukan’s heart lifted instantly. \n“Lukan! Surprise!” he giggled. \n“Wh-what are you doing here so early in the morning?!” Lukan gasped incredulously. “It’s 6:30 in the morning!” \n“What does it look like, silly coon? I’m here to take you to school!” Klaus said. “Now get in the truck so we can be off!” \n“Oh uh… okay, Klaus…” Lukan said uncertainly as he got in the truck.\n“Coon isn’t excited he’s getting a ride from his boyfriend…” Klaus observed. Lukan blushed at the word “boyfriend”. “Why?” \n“I think the busses keep track of your attendance, and if you don’t ride the bus enough, they’ll stop taking you…” Lukan replied fretfully. Every time he had gotten on the bus before, he saw the driver tick off his name. He assumed that was there to make sure the driver didn’t miss anybody, but he also thought it was for that as well.\n“Oh. Well that’s fine. No way in hell I can get here EVERY morning,” Klaus replied just as brightly as ever. “Although I wish you’ll take my rides every time I come. It’s a hassle to get here at all, let alone how much I actually have…” Klaus added, a little less brightly. \n“Y-yeah, I understand. I’ll be sure to note that next time I ride the bus,” Lukan replied as he climbed in. \n“Hey uh… Lukan? I wanted to say that today will be the last day for a while before I can come back to Lilac Grove. My parents are getting really wary of me constantly doing this and they’re wanting to know why. I don’t think I can tell them about you…” Klaus became very sullen all of the sudden as he began to drive. \n“Oh. Uh… that’s okay Klaus,” Lukan replied sadly. “When do you think you can come back?” \nKlaus shook his head. “I have no idea, sorry…” \n“W-well at least we CAN see each other sometimes… I heard about long distance relationships and… I don’t think I could ever do that,” Lukan responded.\n“It’s hell,” Klaus said flatly. “I don’t believe they ever work. Ever.” There was an extremely aggressive tone in Klaus’s voice that Lukan had never thought was possible. It took him aback and he never wanted to experience it again.\n“S-something tells me you have more stories to tell me…” Lukan’s voice wasn’t entirely there. \nKlaus sighed. “I do. But they aren’t for right now.”\n\t“O-okay Klaus,” Lukan replied. \n\tThe rest of the ride to school was spent in silence. An awkward silence. One that made Lukan uncomfortable. The raccoon had never felt as uncomfortable as he did with Klaus as he did now. He fidgeted with his tail while staring out the window, at the familiar sights of his city flying by him. There wasn’t anything to say. And Lukan did not know why. Was Klaus not in a good mood today? How badly did his parents confront him the previous night or whenever they did? It must have been rough on the otter. Klaus was 18 though... Did he really have to still obey his parents regarding where he spends his time? Lukan hoped not for his sake.\nThe school came up quickly. It seemed that over the weekend they had finally gotten to demolishing the outdoor swimming pool. Lukan saw Klaus’s eyes shining with sadness as they passed where it once sat. Lukan was about to give him some comforting words when he saw that the front area of the school, where the new building was destined to take its roots was already in process of being torn up. The grass was all gone and the parking lot that was there was also becoming a thing of the past. It was all completely unrecognizable. A sign Lukan never noticed before was posted on the fence that kept everyone out of the construction zone.\n“‘The new and improved Fox Mountain High School, construction completion in late 2015, opening for the 2016-2017 school year, and demolition of the old building in early 2017’…? Is it really going to take that long?” Lukan prompted as he read the sign. \n\tKlaus shrugged. “I have no idea.”\n\t“Well there is construction crap at the other school and all over the city as well. I had no idea Lilac Grove had so much construction personnel... With them spread apart like that, how is anything going to get done soon?” Then Lukan realized he just answered his own question.\n“This blasted town can’t get any of their priorities straight. I swear it’s gonna kill them someday,” Klaus growled as he pulled into the north parking lot. “Well, we’re here. See you later Lukan,” Klaus stopped with a sigh. “I’ll be here in town all day to see you after school, alright?” \nLukan gave the otter a small kiss on the cheek. “Okay, rudderbutt. I’ll see you later,” and he waved Klaus goodbye.\nIt was still very early in the morning. It was only 6:50 in the morning, fifty minutes before the bell for the first class would ring. Lukan wasn’t even sure what he was going to do with that time. He was tempted to get back to Klaus and they could hang for that short duration, but decided not to. Lukan figured the otter needed some time to himself, hence another reason he wasn’t going home right then. He wondered just how bad the otter’s life was without him and if he could do anything more to help him. And if that anything could be anything more than just giving him the compassion of a boyfriend that he clearly needed. \n\n“Oh shit,” Lukan muttered under his breath. He was in his history class and his tail fluffed up from a dreadful realization that the family history projects were due today. And he had spent the entire weekend with Klaus, forgetting about it entirely. What a fantastic situation to be in now. \n“I’m not going to be like your evil English instructors and force you to present your projects to the rest of the class, but I’m giving you the opportunity to do so if you wish. But if you decide to, I’ll give you extra credit!” Mr. Harrison called out.\nWell there’s a plus. No obligatory presentation. But that wasn’t saying much. Much to his surprise though, Kira, a normally shy girl like he was, immediately jumped up to volunteer. As shy as she was, she never said no to any credit she could get because she knew she wasn’t too great in school. Not awful by any means, but far from perfect. Lukan believed last year she had a 2.3 GPA? He couldn’t remember. \nLukan shrunk himself in his seat as he wondered what would happen since he failed to complete the project? He hadn’t gotten very much info on his. Actually all he got was all he knew. Great grandmother in World War II, Iowan farmers… ...Nothing else was known. And the family heirloom thing? Lukan forgot to even ask if there was anything interesting in the box that his mom keeps that has all his great grandmother’s stuff in it. Although he highly doubted there would be anything.\nTowards the end of class, all the students who were willing to present, presented their projects and Lukan felt sad more than guilty now. Everyone’s families were way more interesting… A lot of them were immigrants from all over the world and most of the others were born and raised in Lilac Grove. If any interest at all, it would be the fact that Lukan’s family were neither. As far as he knew anyways. \n“Okay that went rather nicely, I’d say,” Mr. Harrison nodded from his desk and then sat up. “So! Now with all that done, let’s finish up the period with information regarding the assessment on the Mesopotamians…” And Lukan for the most part, blocked him out from there. Lukan knew he was shit at doing homework before, but he hoped this wouldn’t continue throughout the year. He admitted how utterly shameful this was. If it weren’t for his above average test scores in everything, he would undoubtedly fail each and every class.\nWhen they were excused, Lukan practically darted out of the class, and out of the building. He had no desire to stick around there any longer. And in the north parking lot, Klaus was indeed waiting for him. He decided to greet him with a witty quip.\n“Hey Klaus, aren’t you worried that the school will get upset at you for taking up an already super rare parking space because you’re not a student here?” he asked.\nKlaus smiled. “Not really. There’s so much chaos here, that it’ll be impossible to tell!” he said.\n“You sure? You should know that the state license plates have a number that tells you what county it’s registered to. And Castoria is in a different county than Lilac Grove. If anyone were to see that…” \n“Okay I get the point, you silly coon, but it’ll be fine,” Klaus replied, trying to assure Lukan.\n“Okay, okay, if you say so, Klaus. So we going anywhere today at all?” Lukan asked. \nKlaus thought for a moment. He was thinking really hard about something. Lukan wondered what could make Klaus be so indecisive. “You know what? Are you up for a trip to the mountain, Lukan?” \n“You mean Lilac Mountain?” Lukan pointed to the looming mound that always sat south of the town. “Why there?” he asked curiously. \nKlaus shrugged. “You could see the whole city from up there. It’d be a romantic spot for you and me. It’ll be a while before you’ll see me again ya know…? May as well go somewhere like that to say “goodbye at least for now”,” he said. \n“W-well I guess so, but will I be home in time? You know how my mom is now,” Lukan replied. \nKlaus pecked him on the lips. Lukan blushed. Especially knowing that there were still several high school students at this time walking around, he hoped no one saw them. “Oh… okay Klaus. But it’s because you want to,” Lukan replied. \nKlaus immediately turned on the ignition. “Awesome. Let’s go then. Don’t worry,” he added as he must have noticed Lukan’s worried face. “I’ll make sure you get home in due time.”\nLukan sighed as he became lost in his thoughts again. It was just about a week ago that he sent that message. His life was so different a week ago. It was only now that Lukan realized that his life had already changed so drastically by putting it out there. And only so far now, was it a good change. Lukan could only hope that it would be that way overall… Lukan remembered how he asked himself how a simple message could change his life. Not even a week later, and he had gotten his answer. But Lukan did not regret it. The decision had netted him the most beautiful otter for his boyfriend. It couldn’t get any better than that. And despite that… there was something odd about the otter. Lukan couldn’t put his paw on what it was… but something wasn’t right, especially with the way Klaus talked to him. He always spoke with this mannerism that indicated that Klaus wanted more than just Lukan to be his boyfriend. Lukan hoped he was just worried as he always was about something…\nHis thoughts were interrupted by the sensation of his ears popping. He yelped and covered them, wondering why the hell. He hadn’t been up the mountain in years. He’d forgotten the climb up it caused the pressure to change. “Fucking hell!” he swore aloud as Klaus glanced at him for a second.\n“You okay there, Lukan? You went silent since we left the school,” he pointed out.\nLukan’s ears were still not recovering; it was hard to even hear the otter. “S-sorry. I was just… thinking,” he said.\n“About what?” Klaus pressed curiously as they drove around a rather sharp turnaround. Lukan always noted it every time he looked at the mountain from town, as one could see the road from in town as well. It left a scar that rose up from the mountain and doubled back as it went up. They had just went around that double back… \n“About… how that one simple message led to you… and how it’s changed my life,” Lukan deliberately left out his qualms. He did not want Klaus to know that he felt off to him… nor did he want to know how he’d react. Boyfriends were supposed to trust each other like any other relationship. Right? Lukan knew very little about relationships. But he did know that knowing little was a bad thing. But for some reason, he knew he would choose to do nothing about it. Like he knew that what was to happen, would be inevitable despite what he would do now. Why?\n“Lukan. We’re here,” Klaus said as he stopped the truck. Lukan immediately shook his head violently. He went lost in thought again. God… why was he so prone to doing that? It was his shit mental health wasn’t it…? “What’s happened to my raccoon?” he pressed as he gave Lukan a small lick on the cheek. Lukan looked around. They were at the viewing platform that looked over all of Lilac Grove. Dormant lilac bushes laid at the edges to symbolize the city’s namesake. There were no other cars around. Probably because the bushes wouldn’t be in bloom for another seven months. \n“Just… feeling really pensive today, that’s all,” Lukan blushed where Klaus licked him. He looked out ahead and saw his home city of Lilac Grove sprawled out on the plain below like a blemish on the face of the Earth. The river twisted its way through the northwest side of the city not far from where Lukan lived. Lukan saw his high school towards the east. His home in the west. As well as the middle school he went to, only inches south from there from this perspective. Everything looked so small from up on the mountain. Everywhere he’d spent the majority of his childhood in was right in front of him. \nHe felt Klaus’s head rest on his shoulder. “It’s wonderful isn’t it?” \nLukan swallowed. “Yeah. It is.” \n“Did you think you’d meet another gay guy like me in a place like this?” Klaus continued. \n“No way. Didn’t think that would be possible. This city sucks…” Lukan hit the railing keeping them from falling down a particularly steep part of the mountain. “But my mom and I had no choice but to come back here after what happened in Bright…” \n“Hm… maybe there is more to this place than you thought if I am here, proving you that you aren’t alone here, don’t you think?” Klaus prompted. \nLukan sighed. “Maybe. But I never really bothered looking. What’s the point?” \n“Maybe I am,” Klaus kissed him on the lips again. And he held the kiss for several seconds, before breaking it. Lukan looked right into the otter’s beautiful emerald eyes. Lukan couldn’t take his own off of them. They hypnotised him. They calmed him. They were more potent than any drug that could possibly be conceived. “I… I love you Lukan…” Klaus said. That was the first time Klaus had ever said that to the raccoon. The raccoon felt his heart skip a beat when the otter had said it. But he was too distracted by the mustelid’s eyes to pay attention to the warmth that was in his heart. Was that what love felt like. Yes… It must be. There was no doubt anymore.\n“I love you too Klaus,” Lukan replied.\nKlaus gripped Lukan’s paw. “Want to take a walk through the woods together?” He asked. \nLukan hesitated. He knew it was starting to get late. For some reason, though, he did not care nearly as much anymore. He nodded. “Yeah. Why not?”\nKlaus nodded and led Lukan through the path the wound into the woods, opposite of the observation plateau. Folks often hiked through here in mid-fall and when the lilac bushes were in bloom. But almost never any other time. At the end of this trail, there was a 20 foot tall waterfall that fell into a creek that would eventually empty into the aforementioned river that ran through town. Lukan vaguely remembered it from a trip he took in school back in 2004. Lukan couldn’t believe that was now so long ago.\nThe mountain forest was tranquil. Quiet. Contrary to the city he came from. The only sounds that could be heard were the rustling of leaves, chirping of birds, the flowing water from the waterfall ahead, and the sounds of his and Klaus’s pawsteps as they walked further. The ground was surprisingly flat despite them being on the mountain. It didn’t incline very much and when it did, it wasn’t steep like one would believe if they looked at the mountain from the city below.\nIt took them only a few mere moments to reach the end of the trail that led to the waterfall. Lukan and Klaus stopped and just stared at it. They merely stood there, enjoying each other’s company. There was nothing else for them to do but do just that. And Lukan knew that. Feeling Klaus’s fur on his own was all he needed to feel comforted and calmed. Whatever qualms he had about his relationship with Klaus were washed away instantly by his mere presence. It was like his worries from his past ceased to exist. Why did it feel so wrong when they were apart? But so right when they were together? Lukan wanted to care, but he didn’t. Klaus was his only focus now. \nKlaus then did something that Lukan did not expect in the slightest. He gave Lukan a large lick on the neck and lied on the ground on all fours. Lukan was about to do the same and ask why, but Klaus shook his head. Klaus turned away from him. The only part of him that moved was his rudder like tail. It swayed from side to side. Lukan was met with the sight of the otter’s surprisingly plump posterior for how skinny he actually was. Otters were always wide by their hips weren’t they? Wasn’t it to help them swim or something…? W-wait a moment!!\n“K-Klaus!” Lukan stammered. “Wh-what are you doing!?” \n“What does it look like, cute coon?” he said calmly. He looked back at Lukan with an unreadable expression on his face, his tail still swaying softly. \nLukan scowled. “W-was this why you chose for us to go to the mountain?” Was it? Because no one was around and it was such a romantic location for anything… It was only ever frequented by other creatures in the spring and early summer for the lilac blooming season.\n“If it happens, it’ll be okay… just relax, my love…” was what Klaus said in return. There was a slight blush on his face. Lukan wanted to stare at it all day long.\n“Th-this is too sudden, Klaus! T-too soon! A-are you sure…!?” Lukan asked.\n“W-well I would be lying if I said I didn’t want you right now…” Klaus seemed to want to say more, but he trailed off, blush deepening. Lukan could feel his face reddening as well. “I-I want you in me…” \n“It’d be my first time…” Lukan shuffled his paws, looking away, feeling distant and barely conscious. “No. No it’s too soon. It’s not even been a week yet!” \n“This will be the last time I’ll see you for at least a week if not more… I promise you Lukan, my sweet coon, everything will be fine…” Klaus said in such a comforting tone. A soft one that reassured Lukan so easily. But Lukan could still feel his heart beating uncontrollably as he took a step forward. He couldn’t take his eyes off the plump mustelid behind that was presented right at him. Even though it was still clothed, he could tell the otter was well endowed in that region. Lukan grabbed the hem of the otter’s khaki short pants.\n“A-are you really sure… Klaus…?” Lukan breathed as he hesitantly tugged at them. He could feel the otter’s warmth on them. There was nothing that comforted him more than that at that moment.\nThe otter’s tail swayed around him. “Of course I am absolutely sure. I know everything will be okay as long it’s you…”\nLukan swallowed. “But how? Why?”\nKlaus shrugged. “I can’t say how, but I just feel that there is no one more trustworthy than you are. It’s just the vibe I get.”\n“Klaus…” Lukan. He nodded. “O-okay. L-let’s do it.” He said conclusively as he reached under Klaus to undo his pants. Lukan felt something warm and bulging against the middle of the front. He felt himself blushing furiously as he recognized exactly what it was. It was cause and effect. First came the accidental touch of the wrapped otterhood, then his own coonhood followed suit and tried to break free. Was this really happening right now? Was Lukan really about to? Would this count as a formal forfeit to his virginity? It was funny because Lukan thought so poorly of himself that he would not lose it probably ever. He knew about how kids his age constantly bragging about losing theirs at age 15 or 16, but…. \n\tAs soon as Lukan was brought out of his own thoughts, he saw that bare otter bottom looking up at him enticingly plump and ready to go. Lukan’s blush deepened much further. He could hear Klaus giggling in front of him. “Hey Lukan! What’s the holdup? I understand if you really don’t want to do it yet, but… I really do…”\n“I-I… Okay.” Lukan took a deep breath. “It’s just a pretty big moment for me ya know?” He fumbled at his pants clumsily, not entirely sure what to do. Even the simplest tasks… why does Lukan still manage to do them entirely incorrectly..?\nThe breeze that flowed against his bare crotch was one of the most pleasant feelings he’s felt in a long time. It was almost liberating to feel such a thing. It sent chills up Lukan’s spines, but they were good chill. The breeze spoke of an impending autumn, at long last.\nLukan bit his lips as his and Klaus’s bodies made contact. He hesitated. “A-are you absolutely--?” he started.\n“My answer is not going to change, sweetheart,” Klaus replied instantly, yet patiently. “I want you so badly, my love…” \nLukan took a hold of Klaus’s soft and fuzzy hips and got into a more proper position. He could feel himself rubbing against the otter’s behind. The otter in front of him churred happily. Oh God… those sounds… It was subconscious at first. Almost so much so that it could be called instinct, that Lukan began to enter the otter. The otter winced instantly. Lukan was about to pull back and say not to do it, but the feeling of the otter around just the one spot that went in felt more than just divine. It was like a mix of hypnotism, instinct, curiosity, love, and pleasure than made him go further and further. The otter’s sounds got louder and more sensual as Lukan went further.\n“W-we’re just getting started!” Lukan gasped as he forced himself all the way in, hearing Klaus yelp loudly in response. In front of him, he watched Klaus clench his fists together as he fought back moans in vain. \nLukan knew what he was going to have to do next. The pumping motions of back and forth. Going in and out. Feeling the lightning bolts of pleasure jolt into his limbs and tail. He couldn’t stop. He did not want to stop. There was no feeling that he wanted more than the intimacy he was experiencing at that moment in time. For the first time in his life since even before the high points in his life earlier that year, there was no worry. There was no negativity. There was no sadness. Only sheer love and passion. Klaus’s whole body trembled with it as Lukan dug deeper. The only words that Klaus could even mutter was his raccoon partner’s name, and “faster”. \n“Okay,” Lukan happily obliged as he thrusted his hips forward harder and faster. For a raccoon that was rather badly out of shape, it tired him out quickly. What also antagonized his energy was how hard it was to even move in and out; Klaus was just so tight. As soon as Lukan sped up though, Klaus’s voice was on par with a scream. Lukan suddenly felt a brief worry that someone might hear the otter. Oh God. Yes. Lukan! Those were the only three things the otter was saying now. Probably because they were the only things that could escape him as he was completely taken over by the opposing brand of pleasure. Not that Lukan could blame him. Soon the only thing he was calling out was the otter’s name.\nUntil it happened. He felt the pressure build up in his groin. He wasn’t even aware of reaching the limit until he felt the slipperiness that resulted inside of Klaus’s body. Klaus was screaming in happiness as he soon followed suit. He yelled out Lukan’s name as Lukan gasped out his. However soon it all may have been, the passion could not be denied. Was this a good sign? A precursor to what’s to come for both of them? Lukan couldn’t wait for their lives together…\n\nThe pair of them spent another half an hour cleaning up in the pool at the base of the waterfall. Lukan watched as the sun got very low in the sky. Not that he could tell all that well with walls of rock surrounding him. The lighting in the sky was beginning to dim. But Lukan didn’t care. All he wanted was his boyfriend. The creature was somehow even more handsome in the water… How could that be?\nKlaus scowled and sighed as he got up from the water. He helped Lukan up. “Well… I suppose we should be getting back now, don’tcha think?” he said disappointedly.\nLukan dipped his head. “My mom is probably really worried about me right now… but I want my otter so badly.”\nKlaus hugged the coon tightly and kissed his cheek. “I want my raccoon too, just as badly, if not more. I really had fun today. Thanks.”\nLukan nodded. “I should thank you for taking my virginity,” he laughed. “I’ll never get it back!” \nKlaus poked Lukan. “I think you’ll truly lose it when you bottom next,” he replied cheekily. \nLukan blushed and felt his eyes widen. “Eep! That sounds scary! And painful…”\nKlaus shrugged. “It is at first, but trust me, after a bit, you’ll love it.”\n“I-I dunno…” Lukan said hesitantly. \n“I solemnly swear and cross my heart that I’ll be gentle when the time comes,” Klaus promised.\nLukan giggled. “Silly creature. Let’s get back…”\n\nThe sun was half way down by the time the two creatures got back to Lukan’s. Lukan was suddenly worried about how his mother would react to the fact that he’s just returned home as late as he has. His mother did not take things like that very lightly at all. She worried about him too much. Lukan wished she didn’t but he knew why. \nKlaus sighed as Lukan got out of his truck. Lukan saw hurt in his eyes. “Well… I guess this is goodbye for now.”\n“It won’t be forever,” Lukan replied, placing a paw on his shoulder through the open window. “It’ll just feel that way.”\nKlaus laughed ruefully. “Another shitty week dealing with my shitty family inbound… I’ll think about you every day, Lukan.”\nLukan gave the otter a quick peck on the lips. “I will too Klaus. I will too…”\nLukan slowly backed away to let Klaus drive away. The otter didn’t right away. He was too fixated on the raccoon he’d fallen in love with.\nLukan turned to walk towards the building where his apartment waited. He heard the truck’s engine growling as it carried Klaus away. Away from him. For how long? A week, and nothing less. Probably more. It’s going to be a long wait until he’d return…\n“Where have you been!? It’s been nearly three hours since school ended!” his mother exclaimed when he got home. “I was about ready to report you missing or something!” Classic mother coon. She was somewhat overweight and looked surprisingly little like Lukan. Lukan go most of his physical traits from his father...\n“I was with a friend,” Lukan replied evenly. “Sorry. He kind of sprung it up on me out of nowhere.” Which was both true and untrue at the same time.\n“Am I to expect this to happen more often then? I don’t like it when I don’t know where you are…” she replied worriedly. \n“Yeah,” Lukan answered unsteadily. “Though not for a bit… He’s got family matters after today… Which is why he wanted to spend more time with me.”\nShe nodded. “I see… So how was school today?”\n“Same old same old. It never changes,” Lukan answered dully. \n“I know. But I gotta ask.”\nLukan said nothing more to his mother for the rest of the night. He got onto his laptop to see if Klaus was on, but he wasn’t. He spent the rest of the evening watching videos on Youtube, waiting and hoping the otter would appear, but he didn’t. Lukan was worried that something happened when he’d gotten home. Were they really that upset with him for being out as often as he was? Lukan hoped not. He thought his mother was unreasonable at times, but Klaus’s family… He hoped they wouldn’t be blowing his out of the water in that regard.\nAll Lukan could do was hope. But somehow he feared. An odd sense of foreboding washed over him as he got into bed. Something wasn’t right. And it had to do something with the way the otter just rushed them like that. It had Lukan questioning whether he’d done the right thing or not. Not just what he’d done today, but… getting with Klaus in general. He shook it out of his mind. Whenever he was alone, he always had terrible qualms about everything. He worried way more than his mom ever could. That had to be it… Please let that be it...\n",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>The weekend that followed Klaus&rsquo;s heart to heart confession with Lukan was one of the best weekends Lukan has ever had up to that point in his life. It was spent on some of the same things Lukan had always done, but this time it was with someone who meant something to him more than just a family member. Such a small change made such a big difference in meaning. Him and Klaus spent the vast majority of the weekend in each other&rsquo;s company, talking out their lives and how they intended to improve them. How their past was and how it shaped them to be the creatures they are today. What being together might shape them to be in the near to immediate and far to distant futures. They wanted to go to restaurants and the movies to have bona fide dates, but neither of them had the money to do so. Lukan didn&rsquo;t care; he just wanted to be with Klaus. Lukan couldn&rsquo;t help but just be lost in his presence. It&rsquo;s like his entire personality had shifted the second he started going out with Klaus. He was a lot more energetic, more optimistic, and wasn&rsquo;t afraid to talk. ...But only around Klaus. The second the otter had left his life for anything like home or school, Lukan&rsquo;s mind instantly switched back the super introverted, nervous wreck he always was before. It was like Klaus was a magic drug that took all his problems away, but wasn&rsquo;t actually damaging to his health. <br /><br />Monday, September 9, 2013<br /><br />Alas, when the weekend was over, Lukan felt as if it had ever happened. <br />As Lukan left his apartment complex to catch the bus that stopped at the middle school behind his house, he was surprised to find that Klaus&rsquo;s truck was sitting along the median in the parking lot. No parking signs were painted on the curb, clear as day. What in the world was he doing here now&hellip;?<br />Lukan approached the vehicle slowly and said, &ldquo;Klaus?&rdquo; The window rolled down to reveal the otter beaming down at him. Lukan&rsquo;s heart lifted instantly. <br />&ldquo;Lukan! Surprise!&rdquo; he giggled. <br />&ldquo;Wh-what are you doing here so early in the morning?!&rdquo; Lukan gasped incredulously. &ldquo; It&rsquo;s 6:30 in the morning!&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;What does it look like, silly coon? I&rsquo;m here to take you to school!&rdquo; Klaus said. &ldquo; Now get in the truck so we can be off!&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;Oh uh&hellip; okay, Klaus&hellip;&rdquo; Lukan said uncertainly as he got in the truck.<br />&ldquo;Coon isn&rsquo;t excited he&rsquo;s getting a ride from his boyfriend&hellip;&rdquo; Klaus observed. Lukan blushed at the word &ldquo;boyfriend&rdquo;. &ldquo; Why?&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;I think the busses keep track of your attendance, and if you don&rsquo;t ride the bus enough, they&rsquo;ll stop taking you&hellip;&rdquo; Lukan replied fretfully. Every time he had gotten on the bus before, he saw the driver tick off his name. He assumed that was there to make sure the driver didn&rsquo;t miss anybody, but he also thought it was for that as well.<br />&ldquo;Oh. Well that&rsquo;s fine. No way in hell I can get here EVERY morning,&rdquo; Klaus replied just as brightly as ever. &ldquo;Although I wish you&rsquo;ll take my rides every time I come. It&rsquo;s a hassle to get here at all, let alone how much I actually have&hellip;&rdquo; Klaus added, a little less brightly. <br />&ldquo;Y-yeah, I understand. I&rsquo;ll be sure to note that next time I ride the bus,&rdquo; Lukan replied as he climbed in. <br />&ldquo;Hey uh&hellip; Lukan? I wanted to say that today will be the last day for a while before I can come back to Lilac Grove. My parents are getting really wary of me constantly doing this and they&rsquo;re wanting to know why. I don&rsquo;t think I can tell them about you&hellip;&rdquo; Klaus became very sullen all of the sudden as he began to drive. <br />&ldquo;Oh. Uh&hellip; that&rsquo;s okay Klaus,&rdquo; Lukan replied sadly. &ldquo; When do you think you can come back?&rdquo; <br />Klaus shook his head. &ldquo;I have no idea, sorry&hellip;&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;W-well at least we CAN see each other sometimes&hellip; I heard about long distance relationships and&hellip; I don&rsquo;t think I could ever do that,&rdquo; Lukan responded.<br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s hell,&rdquo; Klaus said flatly. &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t believe they ever work. Ever.&rdquo; There was an extremely aggressive tone in Klaus&rsquo;s voice that Lukan had never thought was possible. It took him aback and he never wanted to experience it again.<br />&ldquo;S-something tells me you have more stories to tell me&hellip;&rdquo; Lukan&rsquo;s voice wasn&rsquo;t entirely there. <br />Klaus sighed. &ldquo;I do. But they aren&rsquo;t for right now.&rdquo;<br />\t&ldquo;O-okay Klaus,&rdquo; Lukan replied. <br />\tThe rest of the ride to school was spent in silence. An awkward silence. One that made Lukan uncomfortable. The raccoon had never felt as uncomfortable as he did with Klaus as he did now. He fidgeted with his tail while staring out the window, at the familiar sights of his city flying by him. There wasn&rsquo;t anything to say. And Lukan did not know why. Was Klaus not in a good mood today? How badly did his parents confront him the previous night or whenever they did? It must have been rough on the otter. Klaus was 18 though... Did he really have to still obey his parents regarding where he spends his time? Lukan hoped not for his sake.<br />The school came up quickly. It seemed that over the weekend they had finally gotten to demolishing the outdoor swimming pool. Lukan saw Klaus&rsquo;s eyes shining with sadness as they passed where it once sat. Lukan was about to give him some comforting words when he saw that the front area of the school, where the new building was destined to take its roots was already in process of being torn up. The grass was all gone and the parking lot that was there was also becoming a thing of the past. It was all completely unrecognizable. A sign Lukan never noticed before was posted on the fence that kept everyone out of the construction zone.<br />&ldquo;&lsquo;The new and improved Fox Mountain High School, construction completion in late 2015, opening for the 2016-2017 school year, and demolition of the old building in early 2017&rsquo;&hellip;? Is it really going to take that long?&rdquo; Lukan prompted as he read the sign. <br />\tKlaus shrugged. &ldquo;I have no idea.&rdquo;<br />\t&ldquo;Well there is construction crap at the other school and all over the city as well. I had no idea Lilac Grove had so much construction personnel...&nbsp;&nbsp;With them spread apart like that, how is anything going to get done soon?&rdquo; Then Lukan realized he just answered his own question.<br />&ldquo;This blasted town can&rsquo;t get any of their priorities straight. I swear it&rsquo;s gonna kill them someday,&rdquo; Klaus growled as he pulled into the north parking lot. &ldquo;Well, we&rsquo;re here. See you later Lukan,&rdquo; Klaus stopped with a sigh. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll be here in town all day to see you after school, alright?&rdquo; <br />Lukan gave the otter a small kiss on the cheek. &ldquo;Okay, rudderbutt. I&rsquo;ll see you later,&rdquo; and he waved Klaus goodbye.<br />It was still very early in the morning. It was only 6:50 in the morning, fifty minutes before the bell for the first class would ring. Lukan wasn&rsquo;t even sure what he was going to do with that time. He was tempted to get back to Klaus and they could hang for that short duration, but decided not to. Lukan figured the otter needed some time to himself, hence another reason he wasn&rsquo;t going home right then. He wondered just how bad the otter&rsquo;s life was without him and if he could do anything more to help him. And if that anything could be anything more than just giving him the compassion of a boyfriend that he clearly needed. <br /><br />&ldquo;Oh shit,&rdquo; Lukan muttered under his breath. He was in his history class and his tail fluffed up from a dreadful realization that the family history projects were due today. And he had spent the entire weekend with Klaus, forgetting about it entirely. What a fantastic situation to be in now. <br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not going to be like your evil English instructors and force you to present your projects to the rest of the class, but I&rsquo;m giving you the opportunity to do so if you wish. But if you decide to, I&rsquo;ll give you extra credit!&rdquo; Mr. Harrison called out.<br />Well there&rsquo;s a plus. No obligatory presentation. But that wasn&rsquo;t saying much. Much to his surprise though, Kira, a normally shy girl like he was, immediately jumped up to volunteer. As shy as she was, she never said no to any credit she could get because she knew she wasn&rsquo;t too great in school. Not awful by any means, but far from perfect. Lukan believed last year she had a 2.3 GPA? He couldn&rsquo;t remember. <br />Lukan shrunk himself in his seat as he wondered what would happen since he failed to complete the project? He hadn&rsquo;t gotten very much info on his. Actually all he got was all he knew. Great grandmother in World War II, Iowan farmers&hellip; ...Nothing else was known. And the family heirloom thing? Lukan forgot to even ask if there was anything interesting in the box that his mom keeps that has all his great grandmother&rsquo;s stuff in it. Although he highly doubted there would be anything.<br />Towards the end of class, all the students who were willing to present, presented their projects and Lukan felt sad more than guilty now. Everyone&rsquo;s families were way more interesting&hellip; A lot of them were immigrants from all over the world and most of the others were born and raised in Lilac Grove. If any interest at all, it would be the fact that Lukan&rsquo;s family were neither. As far as he knew anyways. <br />&ldquo;Okay that went rather nicely, I&rsquo;d say,&rdquo; Mr. Harrison nodded from his desk and then sat up. &ldquo; So! Now with all that done, let&rsquo;s finish up the period with information regarding the assessment on the Mesopotamians&hellip;&rdquo; And Lukan for the most part, blocked him out from there. Lukan knew he was shit at doing homework before, but he hoped this wouldn&rsquo;t continue throughout the year. He admitted how utterly shameful this was. If it weren&rsquo;t for his above average test scores in everything, he would undoubtedly fail each and every class.<br />When they were excused, Lukan practically darted out of the class, and out of the building. He had no desire to stick around there any longer. And in the north parking lot, Klaus was indeed waiting for him. He decided to greet him with a witty quip.<br />&ldquo;Hey Klaus, aren&rsquo;t you worried that the school will get upset at you for taking up an already super rare parking space because you&rsquo;re not a student here?&rdquo; he asked.<br />Klaus smiled. &ldquo; Not really. There&rsquo;s so much chaos here, that it&rsquo;ll be impossible to tell!&rdquo; he said.<br />&ldquo;You sure? You should know that the state license plates have a number that tells you what county it&rsquo;s registered to. And Castoria is in a different county than Lilac Grove. If anyone were to see that&hellip;&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;Okay I get the point, you silly coon, but it&rsquo;ll be fine,&rdquo; Klaus replied, trying to assure Lukan.<br />&ldquo;Okay, okay, if you say so, Klaus. So we going anywhere today at all?&rdquo; Lukan asked. <br />Klaus thought for a moment. He was thinking really hard about something. Lukan wondered what could make Klaus be so indecisive. &ldquo; You know what? Are you up for a trip to the mountain, Lukan?&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;You mean Lilac Mountain?&rdquo; Lukan pointed to the looming mound that always sat south of the town. &ldquo; Why there?&rdquo; he asked curiously. <br />Klaus shrugged. &ldquo; You could see the whole city from up there. It&rsquo;d be a romantic spot for you and me. It&rsquo;ll be a while before you&rsquo;ll see me again ya know&hellip;? May as well go somewhere like that to say &ldquo;goodbye at least for now&rdquo;,&rdquo; he said. <br />&ldquo;W-well I guess so, but will I be home in time? You know how my mom is now,&rdquo; Lukan replied. <br />Klaus pecked him on the lips. Lukan blushed. Especially knowing that there were still several high school students at this time walking around, he hoped no one saw them. &ldquo;Oh&hellip; okay Klaus. But it&rsquo;s because you want to,&rdquo; Lukan replied. <br />Klaus immediately turned on the ignition. &ldquo;Awesome. Let&rsquo;s go then. Don&rsquo;t worry,&rdquo; he added as he must have noticed Lukan&rsquo;s worried face. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll make sure you get home in due time.&rdquo;<br />Lukan sighed as he became lost in his thoughts again. It was just about a week ago that he sent that message. His life was so different a week ago. It was only now that Lukan realized that his life had already changed so drastically by putting it out there. And only so far now, was it a good change. Lukan could only hope that it would be that way overall&hellip; Lukan remembered how he asked himself how a simple message could change his life. Not even a week later, and he had gotten his answer. But Lukan did not regret it. The decision had netted him the most beautiful otter for his boyfriend. It couldn&rsquo;t get any better than that. And despite that&hellip; there was something odd about the otter. Lukan couldn&rsquo;t put his paw on what it was&hellip; but something wasn&rsquo;t right, especially with the way Klaus talked to him. He always spoke with this mannerism that indicated that Klaus wanted more than just Lukan to be his boyfriend. Lukan hoped he was just worried as he always was about something&hellip;<br />His thoughts were interrupted by the sensation of his ears popping. He yelped and covered them, wondering why the hell. He hadn&rsquo;t been up the mountain in years. He&rsquo;d forgotten the climb up it caused the pressure to change. &ldquo;Fucking hell!&rdquo; he swore aloud as Klaus glanced at him for a second.<br />&ldquo;You okay there, Lukan? You went silent since we left the school,&rdquo; he pointed out.<br />Lukan&rsquo;s ears were still not recovering; it was hard to even hear the otter. &ldquo;S-sorry. I was just&hellip; thinking,&rdquo; he said.<br />&ldquo;About what?&rdquo; Klaus pressed curiously as they drove around a rather sharp turnaround. Lukan always noted it every time he looked at the mountain from town, as one could see the road from in town as well. It left a scar that rose up from the mountain and doubled back as it went up. They had just went around that double back&hellip; <br />&ldquo;About&hellip; how that one simple message led to you&hellip; and how it&rsquo;s changed my life,&rdquo; Lukan deliberately left out his qualms. He did not want Klaus to know that he felt off to him&hellip; nor did he want to know how he&rsquo;d react. Why?<br />&ldquo;Lukan. We&rsquo;re here,&rdquo; Klaus said as he stopped the truck. Lukan immediately shook his head violently. He went lost in thought again. God&hellip; why was he so prone to doing that? It was his shit mental health wasn&rsquo;t it&hellip;? &ldquo; What&rsquo;s happened to my raccoon?&rdquo; he pressed as he gave Lukan a small lick on the cheek. Lukan looked around. They were at the viewing platform that looked over all of Lilac Grove. Dormant lilac bushes laid at the edges to symbolize the city&rsquo;s namesake. There were no other cars around. Probably because the bushes wouldn&rsquo;t be in bloom for another seven months. <br />&ldquo;Just&hellip; feeling really pensive today, that&rsquo;s all,&rdquo; Lukan blushed where Klaus licked him. He looked out ahead and saw his home city of Lilac Grove sprawled out on the plain below like a blemish on the face of the Earth. The river twisted its way through the northwest side of the city not far from where Lukan lived. Lukan saw his high school towards the east. His home in the west. As well as&nbsp;&nbsp;the middle school he went to, only inches south from there from this perspective. Everything looked so small from up on the mountain. Everywhere he&rsquo;d spent the majority of his childhood in was right in front of him. <br />He felt Klaus&rsquo;s head rest on his shoulder. &ldquo; It&rsquo;s wonderful isn&rsquo;t it?&rdquo; <br />Lukan swallowed. &ldquo;Yeah. It is.&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;Did you think you&rsquo;d meet another gay guy like me in a place like this?&rdquo; Klaus continued. <br />&ldquo;No way. Didn&rsquo;t think that would be possible. This city sucks&hellip;&rdquo; Lukan hit the railing keeping them from falling down a particularly steep part of the mountain. &ldquo; But my mom and I had no choice but to come back here after what happened in Bright&hellip;&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;Hm&hellip; maybe there is more to this place than you thought if I am here, proving you that you aren&rsquo;t alone here, don&rsquo;t you think?&rdquo; Klaus prompted. <br />Lukan sighed. &ldquo;Maybe. But I never really bothered looking. What&rsquo;s the point?&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;Maybe I am,&rdquo; Klaus kissed him on the lips again. And he held the kiss for several seconds, before breaking it. Lukan looked right into the otter&rsquo;s beautiful emerald eyes. Lukan couldn&rsquo;t take his own off of them. They hypnotised him. They calmed him. They were more potent than any drug that could possibly be conceived. &ldquo;I&hellip; I love you Lukan&hellip;&rdquo; Klaus said. That was the first time Klaus had ever said that to the raccoon. The raccoon felt his heart skip a beat when the otter had said it. But he was too distracted by the mustelid&rsquo;s eyes to pay attention to the warmth that was in his heart. Was that what love felt like. Yes&hellip; It must be. There was no doubt anymore.<br />&ldquo;I love you too Klaus,&rdquo; Lukan replied.<br />Klaus gripped Lukan&rsquo;s paw. &ldquo;Want to take a walk through the woods together?&rdquo; He asked. <br />Lukan hesitated. He knew it was starting to get late. For some reason, though, he did not care nearly as much anymore. He nodded. &ldquo;Yeah. Why not?&rdquo;<br />Klaus nodded and led Lukan through the path the wound into the woods, opposite of the observation plateau. Lukan couldn&rsquo;t believe that was now so long ago.<br />The mountain forest was tranquil. Quiet. Contrary to the city he came from. The only sounds that could be heard were the rustling of leaves, chirping of birds, the flowing water from the waterfall ahead, and the sounds of his and Klaus&rsquo;s pawsteps as they walked further. The ground was surprisingly flat despite them being on the mountain. It didn&rsquo;t incline very much and when it did, it wasn&rsquo;t steep like one would believe if they looked at the mountain from the city below.<br />It took them only a few mere moments to reach the end of the trail that led to the waterfall. Lukan and Klaus stopped and just stared at it. They merely stood there, enjoying each other&rsquo;s company. There was nothing else for them to do but do just that. And Lukan knew that. Feeling Klaus&rsquo;s fur on his own was all he needed to feel comforted and calmed. Whatever qualms he had about his relationship with Klaus were washed away instantly by his mere presence. It was like his worries from his past ceased to exist. Why did it feel so wrong when they were apart? But so right when they were together? Lukan wanted to care, but he didn&rsquo;t. Klaus was his only focus now. <br />Klaus then did something that Lukan did not expect in the slightest. He gave Lukan a large lick on the neck and lied on the ground on all fours. Lukan was about to do the same and ask why, but Klaus shook his head. Klaus turned away from him. The only part of him that moved was his rudder like tail. It swayed from side to side. Lukan was met with the sight of the otter&rsquo;s surprisingly plump posterior for how skinny he actually was. Otters were always wide by their hips weren&rsquo;t they? Wasn&rsquo;t it to help them swim or something&hellip;? W-wait a moment!!<br />&ldquo;K-Klaus!&rdquo; Lukan stammered. &ldquo;Wh-what are you doing!?&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;What does it look like, cute coon?&rdquo; he said calmly. He looked back at Lukan with an unreadable expression on his face, his tail still swaying softly. <br />Lukan scowled. &ldquo;W-was&nbsp;&nbsp;this why you chose for us to go to the mountain?&rdquo; Was it? Because no one was around and it was such a romantic location for anything&hellip; It was only ever frequented by other creatures in the spring and early summer for the lilac blooming season.<br />&ldquo;If it happens, it&rsquo;ll be okay&hellip; just relax, my love&hellip;&rdquo; was what Klaus said in return. There was a slight blush on his face. Lukan wanted to stare at it all day long.<br />&ldquo;Th-this is too sudden, Klaus! T-too soon! A-are you sure&hellip;!?&rdquo; Lukan asked.<br />&ldquo;W-well I would be lying if I said I didn&rsquo;t want you right now&hellip;&rdquo; Klaus seemed to want to say more, but he trailed off, blush deepening. Lukan could feel his face reddening as well. &ldquo;I-I want you in me&hellip;&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;d be my first time&hellip;&rdquo; Lukan shuffled his paws, looking away, feeling distant and barely conscious. &ldquo; No. No it&rsquo;s too soon. It&rsquo;s not even been a week yet!&rdquo; <br />&ldquo;This will be the last time I&rsquo;ll see you for at least a week if not more&hellip; I promise you Lukan, my sweet coon, everything will be fine&hellip;&rdquo; Klaus said in such a comforting tone. A soft one that reassured Lukan so easily. But Lukan could still feel his heart beating uncontrollably as he took a step forward. He couldn&rsquo;t take his eyes off the plump mustelid behind that was presented right at him. Even though it was still clothed, he could tell the otter was well endowed in that region. Lukan grabbed the hem of the otter&rsquo;s khaki short pants.<br />&ldquo;A-are you really sure&hellip; Klaus&hellip;?&rdquo; Lukan breathed as he hesitantly tugged at them. He could feel the otter&rsquo;s warmth on them. There was nothing that comforted him more than that at that moment.<br />The otter&rsquo;s tail swayed around him. &ldquo;Of course I am absolutely sure. I know everything will be okay as long it&rsquo;s you&hellip;&rdquo;<br />Lukan swallowed. &ldquo; But how? Why?&rdquo;<br />Klaus shrugged. &ldquo;I can&rsquo;t say how, but I just feel that there is no one more trustworthy than you are. It&rsquo;s just the vibe I get.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Klaus&hellip;&rdquo; Lukan. He nodded. &ldquo;O-okay. L-let&rsquo;s do it.&rdquo; He said conclusively as he reached under Klaus to undo his pants. He knew about how kids his age constantly bragging about losing theirs at age 15 or 16, but&hellip;. <br />\tAs soon as Lukan was brought out of his own thoughts, he saw that bare otter bottom looking up at him enticingly plump and ready to go. Lukan&rsquo;s blush deepened much further. He could hear Klaus giggling in front of him. &ldquo;Hey Lukan! What&rsquo;s the holdup? I understand if you really don&rsquo;t want to do it yet, but&hellip; I really do&hellip;&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;I-I&hellip; Okay.&rdquo; Lukan took a deep breath. &ldquo; It&rsquo;s just a pretty big moment for me ya know?&rdquo; He fumbled at his pants clumsily, not entirely sure what to do. Even the simplest tasks&hellip; why does Lukan still manage to do them entirely incorrectly..?<br />The breeze that flowed against his bare crotch was one of the most pleasant feelings he&rsquo;s felt in a long time. It was almost liberating to feel such a thing. It sent chills up Lukan&rsquo;s spines, but they were good chill. The breeze spoke of an impending autumn, at long last.<br />Lukan bit his lips as his and Klaus&rsquo;s bodies made contact. He hesitated. &ldquo;A-are you absolutely--?&rdquo; he started.<br />&ldquo;My answer is not going to change, sweetheart,&rdquo; Klaus replied instantly, yet patiently. &ldquo;I want you so badly, my love&hellip;&rdquo; <br />Lukan took a hold of Klaus&rsquo;s soft and fuzzy hips and got into a more proper position. He could feel himself rubbing against the otter&rsquo;s behind. The otter in front of him churred happily. Oh God&hellip; those sounds&hellip; It was subconscious at first. The otter&rsquo;s sounds got louder and more sensual as Lukan went further.<br />&ldquo;W-we&rsquo;re just getting started!&rdquo; Lukan gasped as he forced himself all the way in, hearing Klaus yelp loudly in response. In front of him, he watched Klaus clench his fists together as he fought back moans in vain. <br />Lukan knew what he was going to have to do next. The pumping motions of back and forth. Going in and out. Feeling the lightning bolts of pleasure jolt into his limbs and tail. He couldn&rsquo;t stop. He did not want to stop. There was no feeling that he wanted more than the intimacy he was experiencing at that moment in time. For the first time in his life since even before the high points in his life earlier that year, there was no worry. There was no negativity. There was no sadness. Only sheer love and passion. Klaus&rsquo;s whole body trembled with it as Lukan dug deeper. The only words that Klaus could even mutter was his raccoon partner&rsquo;s name, and &ldquo;faster&rdquo;. <br />&ldquo;Okay,&rdquo; Lukan happily obliged as he thrusted his hips forward harder and faster. For a raccoon that was rather badly out of shape, it tired him out quickly. What also antagonized his energy was how hard it was to even move in and out; Klaus was just so tight. As soon as Lukan sped up though, Klaus&rsquo;s voice was on par with a scream. Soon the only thing he was calling out was the otter&rsquo;s name.<br />Until it happened. He felt the pressure build up in his groin. He wasn&rsquo;t even aware of reaching the limit until he felt the slipperiness that resulted inside of Klaus&rsquo;s body. Klaus was screaming in happiness as he soon followed suit. He yelled out Lukan&rsquo;s name as Lukan gasped out his. However soon it all may have been, the passion could not be denied. Was this a good sign? A precursor to what&rsquo;s to come for both of them? Lukan couldn&rsquo;t wait for their lives together&hellip;<br /><br />The pair of them spent another half an hour cleaning up in the pool at the base of the waterfall. Lukan watched as the sun got very low in the sky. Not that he could tell all that well with walls of rock surrounding him. The lighting in the sky was beginning to dim. But Lukan didn&rsquo;t care. All he wanted was his boyfriend. The creature was somehow even more handsome in the water&hellip; How could that be?<br />Klaus scowled and sighed as he got up from the water. He helped Lukan up. &ldquo;Well&hellip; I suppose we should be getting back now, don&rsquo;tcha think?&rdquo; he said disappointedly.<br />Lukan dipped his head. &ldquo; My mom is probably really worried about me right now&hellip; but I want my otter so badly.&rdquo;<br />Klaus hugged the coon tightly and kissed his cheek. &ldquo;I want my raccoon too, just as badly, if not more. I really had fun today. Thanks.&rdquo;<br />Lukan nodded. &ldquo;I should thank you for taking my virginity,&rdquo; he laughed. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll never get it back!&rdquo; <br />Klaus poked Lukan. &ldquo;I think you&rsquo;ll truly lose it when you bottom next,&rdquo; he replied cheekily. <br />Lukan blushed and felt his eyes widen. &ldquo;Eep! That sounds scary! And painful&hellip;&rdquo;<br />Klaus shrugged. &ldquo; It is at first, but trust me, after a bit, you&rsquo;ll love it.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;I-I dunno&hellip;&rdquo; Lukan said hesitantly. <br />&ldquo;I solemnly swear and cross my heart that I&rsquo;ll be gentle when the time comes,&rdquo; Klaus promised.<br />Lukan giggled. &ldquo;Silly creature. Let&rsquo;s get back&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />The sun was half way down by the time the two creatures got back to Lukan&rsquo;s. Lukan was suddenly worried about how his mother would react to the fact that he&rsquo;s just returned home as late as he has. His mother did not take things like that very lightly at all. She worried about him too much. Lukan wished she didn&rsquo;t but he knew why. <br />Klaus sighed as Lukan got out of his truck. Lukan saw hurt in his eyes. &ldquo;Well&hellip; I guess this is goodbye for now.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;It won&rsquo;t be forever,&rdquo; Lukan replied, placing a paw on his shoulder through the open window. &ldquo; It&rsquo;ll just feel that way.&rdquo;<br />Klaus laughed ruefully. &ldquo;Another shitty week dealing with my shitty family inbound&hellip; I&rsquo;ll think about you every day, Lukan.&rdquo;<br />Lukan gave the otter a quick peck on the lips. &ldquo;I will too Klaus. I will too&hellip;&rdquo;<br />Lukan slowly backed away to let Klaus drive away. The otter didn&rsquo;t right away. He was too fixated on the raccoon he&rsquo;d fallen in love with.<br />Lukan turned to walk towards the building where his apartment waited. He heard the truck&rsquo;s engine growling as it carried Klaus away. Away from him. For how long? A week, and nothing less. Probably more. It&rsquo;s going to be a long wait until he&rsquo;d return&hellip;<br />&ldquo;Where have you been!? It&rsquo;s been nearly three hours since school ended!&rdquo; his mother exclaimed when he got home. &ldquo;I was about ready to report you missing or something!&rdquo; Classic mother coon. She was somewhat overweight and looked surprisingly little like Lukan. Lukan go most of his physical traits from his father...<br />&ldquo;I was with a friend,&rdquo; Lukan replied evenly. &ldquo;Sorry. He kind of sprung it up on me out of nowhere.&rdquo; Which was both true and untrue at the same time.<br />&ldquo;Am I to expect this to happen more often then? I don&rsquo;t like it when I don&rsquo;t know where you are&hellip;&rdquo; she replied worriedly. <br />&ldquo;Yeah,&rdquo; Lukan answered unsteadily. &ldquo;Though not for a bit&hellip; He&rsquo;s got family matters after today&hellip; Which is why he wanted to spend more time with me.&rdquo;<br />She nodded. &ldquo;I see&hellip; So how was school today?&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Same old same old. It never changes,&rdquo; Lukan answered dully. <br />&ldquo;I know. But I gotta ask.&rdquo;<br />Lukan said nothing more to his mother for the rest of the night. He got onto his laptop to see if Klaus was on, but he wasn&rsquo;t. He spent the rest of the evening watching videos on Youtube, waiting and hoping the otter would appear, but he didn&rsquo;t. Lukan was worried that something happened when he&rsquo;d gotten home. Were they really that upset with him for being out as often as he was? Lukan hoped not. He thought his mother was unreasonable at times, but Klaus&rsquo;s family&hellip; He hoped they wouldn&rsquo;t be blowing his out of the water in that regard.<br />All Lukan could do was hope. But somehow he feared. An odd sense of foreboding washed over him as he got into bed. Something wasn&rsquo;t right. And it had to do something with the way the otter just rushed them like that. It had Lukan questioning whether he&rsquo;d done the right thing or not. Not just what he&rsquo;d done today, but&hellip; getting with Klaus in general. He shook it out of his mind. Whenever he was alone, he always had terrible qualms about everything. He worried way more than his mom ever could. That had to be it&hellip; Please let that be it...<br /></span>",
