However, as I pull out one of my experimental Pokéballs, the Rufflet takes notice, and I drop the ball as it squawks in alarm.
The Pokéball fizzles as it falls to the ground, and a strange aura surrounds me, causing taloned fingers to rip through my gloves!
My sneakers are the next to go, as talons rip through them as well, destroying them!
Feathers start growing on my arms and legs and rip my shorts as I start to catch on to what is happening: I'm transforming into a Braviary!
Next my face begins changing and purple feathers start growing on my chest, ripping through my shirt.
The wings are soon to follow, tearing through the back of my vest and shirt and fanning out behind me!
But as my face changes, growing a crest and beak, my expression changes from shock to pure fascination at the change!
Finally, my pants and belt rip open, as my tail pushes through and fans out behind me.
I ignore the Pokéball as the transformation completes, and my body finishes bulking up. Feeling powerful, I flex my muscles.
The Rufflet stares at me, sweating profusely, but understanding his concerns, I reassure him that I'm not going to hurt him. He smiles as I realize that I can now understand him!
And finally, I stand majestically as a freshly-transformed Pokémon trainer-turned-Braviary, a challenge to trainers everywhere!
