"description": "Went overtime again, even more so this time, but I actually gave up on finishing them today because I realize I’ve been stupid and did the math wrong. I thought that eight new drawings would open two specific commission slots, but that’s only 16 of 20, so I’d need four more, for a total of 12. New plan is to do as many flat colors as I can and finish them all tomorrow. \nOkay, now let’s talk about the actual drawing. This is also filler, as it is sandwiched between the previous two drawings, but it was quite a large space, relatively speaking, so it wasn’t too hard to do this. I also used a slime monster since those make things easier on me, so one would have happened today for sure. For some reason I wanted a kitty slime, and so it was. I also wanted it doing something other than just standing there, but I was having a hard time thinking of anything fitting, and release was the only solutions I could come up with. I did think about oviposition too, but it felt too forced. Either peeing or pooping would do the trick, and I considered pooping, but for reasons I would rather not talk about I decided against it, bad vibes. I almost gave up on pee as well and tried to do an erect penis, but then I settled back into this, and I’m glad I did because I like it.\n\nOh boy, this was an experiment. Again, coming back to these flat colors weeks later to finish them, and this one was different due to the translucent nature. I still can’t do translucent or transparent materials perfectly, since refraction can be extremely tough, so I decided to just do the shinies and let it be more abstract on the vibes. No shadows, though, since that would introduce problems, so I really only added highlights and so on. It does help a lot, but still feels a bit empty, though I guess that’s just the nature of this drawing, it’s pretty basic.
