You wake up in the middle of the night, the room is eerily quiet. The moon casts a pale glow through the window, illuminating the dark figure standing at the foot of your bed. At first, you think you’re dreaming, but the goosebumps pricking your skin tell you otherwise.
The figure steps closer, and you can make out the details. It is a hellhound, an imposing figure, and the room around it seems even darker than it already is. His fur is a deep brown-blackoccasionally interrupted by brown-orange patches scattered across its body. His three heads turn in unison, each pair of eyes locking onto you with unsettling intensity. The leftmost head has one brown eye and one blue, the middle has one blue eye and one green, and the rightmost has one green eye and one brown. They all seem to see right through you, as if peering into your soul.
The hellhound approaches with an almost friendly demeanor, as if he is an old friend come to visit. But your body betrays you, reacting with a deep, instinctual fear. Each step he takes sends a shiver down your spine, your mind knowing the truth behind his calm facade. As he moves, the shadows play tricks, revealing the ghastly reality beneath the illusion. His fur is torn in places, exposing raw, decaying flesh and bone. Here and there, the remnants of his body look like they’re barely held together, an undead entity cloaked in the guise of a hellhound - as if that alone were not enough reason to be concerned.
The scent hits you next, a potent mix of male dog and something far more primal and unsettling. It’s laced with pheromones that make your heart race and your breath quicken. He feeds on fear, you realize, and your mounting terror is his feast.
A sentient rope snakes around his waist, writhing with a life of its own. It seems almost playful, teasing, as it slithers towards you. You reach out to push it away, but the moment your fingers brush against it, you recoil. The rope feels like the scales of a snake, but wet and slimy, sending a jolt of revulsion through you.
»Don’t be afraid,« says the hellhound, his voice soft and reassuring. It feels like a lie wrapped in silk. »We’ve known each other forever, haven’t we?« he says as the snake slithers further from his waist and slides up his body to wrap itself around one of his arms. Then it hits you: The snake is coming out of the Hellhound’s sheath, the heavy testicles just below it. This is neither rope nor a simple snake. That serpent is the Hellhound’s penis! And as this realisation dawns on you, you can see gooey precum-saliva dripping from the snake’s mouth and falling to the ground in viscous strands. The Hellhound - and everything that belongs to him - seems to be aroused by this insight.
The hellhounds words may be soothing, but the fear bubbling inside you is undeniable. You try to speak, to move, but the terror has you pinned to the spot. The hellhound leans in closer, each head taking turns to breathe in your scent, feeding on your fear. You can see his true form more clearly now: rotting flesh, exposed bone, the grotesque beauty of a demon from the depths of hell.
The snake bumps the tip of your nose with its wet, slimy mouth, more of a distraction than a threat, and its slimy texture makes your fur stand on end and your whole body seems to be tingling. At first you notice the intense scent wafting from the snake’s maw. But then you feel the hellhound’s breath on your neck, hot and rancid, as he whispers in your ear.
»Turn around for me,« he says, his tone commanding yet strangely inviting. His hand gestures, a smooth, almost hypnotic motion. »Hands and knees on the bed, face the wall.«
Your mind screams to resist, but your body, gripped by a mix of fear and an unexplainable urge, starts to comply. You turn slowly, heart pounding, and get on your hands and knees, facing the wall. The hellhound’s presence looms over you, the promise of something both terrifying and inevitable hanging in the air.
As you settle into position, the last thing you hear is his satisfied growl, a sound that sends a final shiver down your spine, sealing your fate in this dark, eerie night.
