The place in particular happened to be a miniature dirt parking lot off the side of the highway. Normally, a car or two would be parked in the small alcove among the tall trees, usually belonging to hikers or picnickers who would take the connected wooden bridge leading to the various trails and camping grounds of the state park.
Right now, however, the day was done. The sun had set about an hour ago and any of the active of outdoorsmen that would have populated this place during the day have retired back to their homes by now.
A little birdy told the poodle a few days ago that he had stumbled upon this location during his commute and found the place to be completely deserted once the night rolled in, making it perfect for any exhibitionist escapades. Eager to entertain the idea of inconsequential exposure as well, Perci had to see this spot for herself.
Fortunately, after pressuring her bird friend for more info and a little research on her own, she found a university bus with an off-campus route that could drop her off just a quarter mile away.
Walking the rest of the way there, she was greeted to the sight of the near-black alcove, barely able to make out any detail, even with the many bright headlights passing by along the highway behind her. It was only after taking a few steps forward into the engulfing darkness, and farther away from road, that her eyes finally adjusted to the absence of light. The grey shadows became clearer: the bark of the trees, the sway of the leaves and branches in the wind, the pebbles in the ground beneath her feet, and the near autophobic lack of any other people in the vicinity.
She turned around to watch the traffic from the highway pass her by. Many headlights and taillights came and went, but all of them faced the road ahead or behind them, with none daring to illuminate the canine hiding in plain sight. And with all the drivers focused on the lit-up road, she recalled the parrot saying, their eyes wouldn’t adjust fast enough to the darkness to be able to see you, even if they were looking right at you.
"Well I'll be damned… he was right."
Almost immediately, her heart began to race. With all the security cameras on campus and students prowling around after hours, it was near impossible to enjoy the thrill of public indecency anywhere on campus. But now she had a safe haven to fulfill all of her perverted fantasies. Goosebumps formed under her coat as her brain danced with thoughts of visiting this place with David, or Patrigue, or both of them. Fuck it! Why not bring all of her friends here for a picnic orgy right in the middle of all this nature.
The poodle quickly shook the thought out of her head. Best to start small and work your way up after all. But where to start?
Perci pondered silently for a moment, ending her brainstorm with a snap of her fingers. She reached into her pants pocket and pulled out her phone, swiftly unlocking it and turning on the camera feature. Once she had it set to selfie-mode and took a short-second to adjust the camera’s angle in her hand, she brought the other hand around the bottom of her shirt, lifting its hem until it rested above her breasts, exposing her braless chest to the elements, and the unaware passersby in traffic.
“Holy shit!”
The gentle caress of the wind against her body made her nipples stand on end. And watching the lights of commuters go by only emphasized how exposed her upper half truly was. If any of those cars had decided to turn right and enter her private corner of the woodlands, she’d have no excuse for her indecency. She couldn't wait to get this photoshoot underway and show all her friends what she was able to get away with. Without hesitation, she pressed her thumb against the touch screen.
*beep*
The quiet onomatopoeia did little to bring her out of her lustful thoughts. The bright blinding light of the camera flash, however, made the poodle hyper-aware that this split second of illumination was possibly enough to be noticed by any of the several motorists driving past her location.
Almost on reflex, she forced her shirt back down and turned her phone off. Her breath wavered as she stood frozen in place, waiting for any sign of consequence to come her way…
Five seconds… ten seconds… twenty seconds…
After a full minute of nothing but the same moving headlights and highway sounds, she released a breath she didn’t realize she was holding. Of course nobody saw her. Even if they did, what were they gonna do? Call the police over seeing only half a second of tit with only their eye witness account as proof?
Still, she thought to herself as she eyed the bridge leading further into the forest, better safe than sorry.
Moments later, she was on the other side of the wooden overpass, continuing even further away from the loud and luminous lanes of speeding vehicles.
Eventually, the glow of the road was too dampened by the surrounding foliage to be at all threatening. Perci couldn't help but smile as she peeked around, looking for a bench or table to lay her clothes on without getting them dirty.
That picture she took would only be the first of many.
