"description": "Barely got this up by Halloween lmao. Happy Halloween to y'all.\n\nA quick headcannon for the Alph language and how moves are handled:\n\n-The Alph language (Unknown alphabet) is an ancient language used by all Mythical and Legendary Pokemon, it sounds completely unique to itself and has different meanings and pronunciations when spoken aloud (Ex: the letter \"A\" when spoken sounds nothing like the regular “A”). It is regarded as the root of all languages and takes a considerable amount of years to become fluent in speaking and reading it. All texts in ancient scripts, stories, and monuments are written in Alph.\n\n-A Pokemon's entire natural movepool is accessible to them as long as they have mastered the moves, although they always have at least 4 moves readily available. Moves learned via Egg moves, Tutor, Events, or TM/HM can be taught via other Pokemon that naturally know the move. Pokemon can also study and learn a move they otherwise would not know, although this is a much harder way of learning as this is a long and tedious process. Move techniques are best learned when passed on from one Pokemon to another.\n\n-A maximum of 2 moves can be used together at once. This new move takes on the combined types, power and properties of both moves (Ex: \"Bounce\" and \"High-Jump-Kick\" sends the user soaring into the air and crashing down onto the foe, if missed the user takes immense damage as a result of jumping so high due to Bounce enhancing the initial jump). The drawbacks range from minor to major depending on what two moves are used and how well the user has mastered them. Mastery of two powerful combined moves greatly reduces the drawbacks, but never eliminates them.\n\n-Moves can be repurposed into something else entirely. They still behave like normal, but their shape, sound, or color might differ from normal. (Ex: Psyshock can be used as a blade-like weapon or just slinging rocks at the opponent)\n\n-If a Pokemon is powerful enough, their move's effects and power are much more potent, leading to some moves becoming feared or revered for their utility or power. (Ex: Psychic can potentially cause permanent damage to the mind, or Heal Pulse can restore almost any fatal wound)\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\nFULL BIO\n\nName: Odin\nSpecies: Delphox (Shiny)\nType: Fire / Psychic\nAbility: Magic Guard\nLanguages: Alph, Common\nHeight: 6'7\" (200.66 cm)\nWeight: 111.36 lbs (50,512.46 g)\n\nPreferred Moves: Psychic, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Solar Beam\n\nPersonality: Naturally is calm, calculated, cold, and menacing. Trying to be more charitable to appear friendlier with little success.\n(If his natural demeanor breaks, he lashes out, turning violent and aggressive)\n\n\nFeats:\nDraining Artifacts- Discovered the lost technique of draining artifacts of their power. Using the stolen power of a Time Gear, he can stop time for a couple of seconds. He tries to avoid using it, as it causes great strain on his body.\n\nMagic Guard- Obtained this ability through the manipulation of his body’s biology. He developed a way to draw out latent abilities in Pokemon, but used himself as an experiment.\n\nAlph Language- Mastered it after 20 years of tedious studying. He fluently reads, writes, and speaks it, he practices it sometimes when alone to preserve his fluency.\n\nMove Mastery- Studying the history and techniques of various moves made learning moves outside his natural abilities easier. He spent his free time honing and mastering powerful moves. He experimented with more dangerous and lethal moves as he dove deeper into his research.\n\n\nNotable Features: Odin stands relatively high for a bipedal Pokemon, especially for a Delphox. His ends of his fur spike up with long strands of protruding from his shoulders, tips of his “robe”, ear tufts, and cheek fur. The strands of hair streaming from his ears resemble a fierce burning fire. His mouth bears sharp teeth and fangs, making his smiles scary to strangers. Three sharp claw fingers and toes make up his hands and feet. In an effort to forget his past and to move on, he burnt his staff and disposed of it at his brother’s makeshift grave. He channels his moves and psychic powers throughout his arms and hands; when concentrating precise moves, he aims using his fingers. The most prominent feature of his is the life orb lodged in the center of his head. When attacking, it illuminates a bright pink light, glowing brighter with more power. He modified this life orb, granting him incredible power; however this increase in power backfires when he begins to overexert himself, bleeding from around the orb. This power also amplifies his psychic seizures exponentially, resulting in episodes that would render him unconscious and a volatile threat to everything in the area.\n\n\nBio Summary: Being born as a shiny Pokemon, Odin was regarded as an omen of prosperity, despite his frail body being afflicted with what would become psychic seizures. He grew up under the care of his older brother Gael, a Delphox who he respected very much. Gael prioritized Odin’s health and well being to a fault. Despite suffering from psychic seizures, Gael continued to care for his younger brother.\n\nHe joined Gael in his expeditions shortly after evolving into a Braixen. Receiving his wand as a sign of maturity and brotherhood, they traveled to many locations, including mystery dungeons and ancient temples to study legendary artifacts such as Time Gears, the Red Orb, Soul Dew, etc.. They studied the Alph language to translate ancient documents and learn more about what was lost to time. During their surveys through mystery dungeons, Odin noticed that most Pokemon never returned home because they were killed by stronger Pokemon or hazards. His outlook on the world slowly changed into one of hatred, losing faith that anything good can come out of this world. He separated himself from close friends and Gael to reflect on his thoughts. He continued to carry their research alone, telling Gael to not to go mad understanding what cannot be understood by normal Pokemon.\n\nAfter a long time testing his beliefs and self reflection, he evolved into a Delphox upon coming to the conclusion that the true nature of Pokemon is cruel and unforgiving. His years of research culminated in the forbidden knowledge of draining artifacts of their power and using it for himself. Taking the power of a Time Gear, he used it’s power to stop time for a brief moment. He implanted a life orb he modified into his forehead, believing it would grant him greater power and a way to mitigate his psychic seizures. He taught himself a myriad of moves from examining the history of their techniques through experiments and ancient documents. With this new power, he aimed to “cure” those who suffered from illnesses and hindering conditions, granting them “relief” in the form of burning their bodies. He eliminated those who he deemed undeserving to live a proper life, including those who have changed for the better. However, his delusions spiraled him into burning anyone he came across.\n\nA year passes and Gael, weakened from overworking and episodes of psychic seizures, approaches Odin, attempting to reason with him. Odin explains that he does not desire seeing those who suffer endure the pain of living in a world that does not accept them. He offers to grant “relief” to both Gael and himself, freeing them of their psychic seizures. When Gael rejects his offer, Odin becomes enraged and makes an effort to kill Gael. Odin overwhelms Gael, while he calmly refuses to fight. Gael suffers a psychic seizure, halting Odin. He tries to save Gael’s body from giving out, but is effortless in saving him. Gael lies dying before Odin, uttering his final plea, \"Repent.\" Looking on in horror, Odin breaks down as he begins to realize the true severity of his actions. He burns his staff as a symbol of change and buries it with his brother.\n\nIn an effort to undo the harm he caused, he now swears to assist those he injured. He willingly struggles to defend the helpless despite being turned away by those he had harmed. Even if his old beliefs periodically resurface as a result of the cruelty he confronts.\n\n\nRelatives: As of now, Odin’s 2 nieces are the only family he has left. He was absent for most of their lives and still is, but has fond memories of the few times he interacted with them as Fennekins. Now grown into Delphoxes, they barely remember Odin, but now know him through word of mouth as a murderer and a violent Pokemon. He wants to reconnect with them, but is afraid that he will be seen for who he was, and not who he is now.\n\n-Pythia, Gael’s older daughter, adopted many of his habits and manners. Her passion for teaching led her to becoming a respected mentor for many Pokemon. Her proficiency with fire moves was a trait she held in high regard, often making use of it to teach others advanced fire moves. She is now recovering from an accident that rendered her partially blind. She still mentors Pokemon, but with the help of her younger sister.\n\n-Delphi, Gael’s younger daughter, aimed to master moves as soon as she could. She spent her time practicing many techniques with Pythia and other Pokemon. She is much more active and stubborn than her older sister. She now cares for her older sister, aiding in teaching various moves to Pokemon.\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\nDelphox © Pokemon ",
