Welcome back. Today, I’ll be talking about my thoughts and more on Chapter 5 of Spike’s CYOSA.

Making this:
Sparity is one of the most popular ships in the Brony fandom. So, it was obvious that there was going to be a chapter focusing on these two during the series. I originally thought about Spike doing tasks for Rarity, then when the time came, he would confess and then the two would have sex. However, I felt like that wasn’t good enough. So I decided to split the chapter into different sections: helping Rarity, having lunch, Rarity’s birthday, and then have sex.

I was thankful that there was a pre-made session for the Carousel Boutique. I modified the lighting to give the characters shadows and make it look like they were actually in the boutique. I also found a map for the Sugarcube Corner interior. (https://www.deviantart.com/stefano96/art/SFM-MLP-Sugarcube-Corner-Interior-739462781) I modified the lighting here as well.

One improvement I made was Spike’s dick. Compared to previous chapters, you’ll notice his dick is shinier and actually looks like it’s wet. That’s because I figured out that not only could I use $phongboost, I could also use $phongexponent to make the models shinier. 

Problems:
At first, I didn’t know how the chapter should play out. I could’ve done the entire chapter in the boutique, but that would be just lazy. That’s why I decided on Spike hanging out with Rarity. 

Alternate beginnings:
This is based of the “endings” of Chapter 4.

Spike having sex with no one:
Twilight will meet Spike and point out that he looks worse than before he went to bed. Spike will say that he couldn’t sleep at all. Twilight will let Spike know that Rarity was looking for him and hope that hanging out with her will cheer him up. Spike will nod and head out.

Spike having sex:
Twilight will meet Spike and wonder why he’s up already. Spike will say he wasn’t that tired, and that he needed a little nap. Twilight will let Spike know that Rarity was looking for him. Spike immediately lights up, but then keeps his cool and ask what Rarity wants. Twilight will say she doesn’t know, but he should meet with her at the Carousel Boutique. Before Spike leaves, he’ll notice the saddlebags on Twilight and ask her about it. As it turns out, Twilight is going to see Celestia and Luna. Spike can either ask to come or watch the school. If he asks to come, then a bonus chapter will be unlocked.

Alternate endings:
Friendzoned Forever
If Spike makes too many bad choices, and the lunch scene ends too early, Spike will not be able to earn an unlock. After the party, Rarity and Spike will walk back to the Carousel Boutique. The two will say goodbye to each other and go separate ways. Spike will say “I love you” under his breath. He walks away disappointed, thinking that he could’ve done something to make Rarity like him, but he didn’t.

Are you kidding me?! (Small Spike)
If Spike earns the unlock but doesn’t use it, and if he hasn’t grown yet, he’ll say goodbye to Rarity and walk off. Then Pinkie Pie comes out of nowhere and calls Spike out on his blown opportunity. She’ll complain that this series is called “choose your own sexual adventure” for a reason, but he’s not doing the “S” part for some reason. Pinkie will point out saying that the next time somepony offers to have sex with him, he should say YES!

Are you kidding me?! (Big Spike)
If Spike earns the unlock but doesn’t use it, he’ll say goodbye to Rarity and walk off. If Spike had sex before, Pinkie will show up and call Spike out on his poor choice. She’ll say that he had sex with whoever he chose, but he decided not to for the mare of his dreams. Spike will shrug and Pinkie will grab Spike’s hand and explain that there needs to be some kind of sex in this chapter. The two will then have sex in Sugarcube Corner.

A new dragon
If Spike decides to come inside, both Rarity and Spike will have sex. If this is Spike’s first time, he’ll start to grow. After they have sex, Rarity will point out that Spike grew during sex. Spike will notice this and wonder how that happened. Rarity will hope that it isn’t a greed thing, and Spike will doubt it, as he doesn’t feel greedy right now.

Best Birthday ever (the one the viewers chose)
If this isn’t Spike’s first time having sex, then it’ll go on as normal. After Spike cums, Rarity will say that she changed her mind, as it was the best birthday she ever had. Spike will confess his love, and Rarity will feel the same. They share a passionate kiss before cleaning up.
