As his energy becomes more sporadic, he immediately rushes for his indoor playslide, he climbs on and slides down, giggling from the short trip from up a level to down a level.\n\tTwo more times down the slide, and then he has an odd feeling in his lower tummy, what is this feeling? His mom told him what to do, but his little toddler brain could not remember what it was.\n\t“똥똥! (Ttongttong!/ Poo poo!)” He says to himself as it was time to go. He puts his hands to the ground and lowers his hindquarters into a comfortable position.\n\tHe closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, and holds it as he grunts and pushes, exhaling, re-inhaling and pushing more. He gives a deep exhale as some of it lands into his easy-ons. Soon, he lowers a bit more and relaxes as he is ready to finish.\n\t“중지! 변기를 사용하십시오! (Jungji! Byeongileul sayonghashibshio!/ Stop! Use the potty!)” Johnny’s mom frantically says. Johnny quickly stopped using his easy-ons, and ran for the potty while holding his backside.\n\t“변기! 변기! 변기! (Byeongi! Byeongi! Byeongi!/ Potty! Potty! Potty!)” Johnny says repeatedly as he runs to his swan potty chair, his mother rips the easy-on’s sides, and Johnny sits on the potty, and finishes.\n\t“Johnny, you forgot to tell mommy you needed to poo poo!” She says with disapproval, but not yelling or punishing, after all, Johnny only began potty training just after moving to the US from South Korea. Because he was still a beginner with the potty, he still does what his instincts tell him, but at least “most of it” was in the potty.\n\tAfter, Johnny is dressed down as his mother gets a bubble bath started, he giggles and squeaks as his mom playfully moves a toy boat across the waters. Johnny runs for it trying to catch it, as he does, his mom takes advantage to get him clean, while using the fun toys to keep her energetic field mouse baby distracted.\n\tAfter cleaning, she gets Johnny into a new pair of easy-ons (the “girly kind” that he likes wearing), and cradles him with affection as they head for the kitchen across from the living room.\n\tJohnny sits as his mom had already prepped the leftover rice, eggs, and cabbage. After she cleans her hands, she fries the egg and cabbage, puts them aside, fries the garlic, then adds the rice and other seasoning, and makes Johnny for breakfast his favorite. Fried rice!\n\tShe helps feed the little tyke as he gets some rice on his cheeks, but he enjoys every bite.\n\n\tAs the feeding was done, his mom gets him dressed into his pink shirt denim shorts, socks and pink shoes. And carries him to his carseat. Their destination? His mom never paid attention to the name, but it is a familiar place for Johnny, it is what his mom simply called “The Korean Supermarket.”\n\tIt is a bit of a drive into the city, but once at familiar grounds, his mom puts him in the cart basket, and she looks around the store with her shopping list.\n\tIn this market, Johnny gets to be “more at home” as he keeps saying hello to many of the other shoppers in Korean, regardless of if they speak the language or not. In the cart went many things: many juices using the children’s mascots from Johnny’s favorites, Pa Kimchi (kimchi made with green onion), makgeolli (for mom), a box of Pawpers easy-ons, and finally a box of Korean pull-on style diapers with flower prints.\n\n\tA car ride home, and Johnny is let out of the car, the trunk of the car opened, Johnny grabs many of the light groceries, and carries them with his mom, whom carries the box of Pawpers Easy-ons to his room. Johnny returns to the car to grab the diapers, while heavy, he manages to get them to the ground. His mom stops him and puts the diapers back in the car.\n\t“기저귀는 보육에 대한 (gijeogwineun boyuge daehan./ The diapers are for the daycare)” His mom explains, she pets his hair and says.\n“도움을 주셔서 감사합니다! (Byeongi shigan/ potty time!)” Johnny repeats, as he holds his front side running to the potty. She gets his pants off, and he sits to use it.\n\tHe does finish but his mom wants to make sure. “똥똥 없어요? (Ttongttong eobs-eoyo?/ You don’t need to poo poo?)”\n\tJohnny simply shakes his head no, and then gets his hands washed, and praise for using the potty.\n\n\tHe is loaded into the car again, and the drive just a bit down the street, and stop at a blue house.\n\t“Jane-Jane!” Johnny shouts happily.\n\t“Yes! Jane-Jane!” his mom repeats.\n\tJane Climber is a white squirrel whom became Johnny’s first friend in the States, he always called her Jane-Jane, and the nickname stuck. Her car seat is placed into the car, and Jane-Jane is all fastened in.\n\tThe head for the pastry shop, a local place. It is Jane-Jane’s favorite place in the suburbs, and Johnny’s family came to like the place too.\n\tInside, his mom makes an order.\n\t“Three sausage breads please!” \n\tA few minutes later, the fresh sausage bread was made, this one being a korean variation: 소세지빵 (sosejippang). While it was not originally on the menu in this shop, they made it once for Johnny’s mom when she was missing South Korean, this way of making this pastry caught on and is now a commonly sold good in the shop.\n\tTopped with tomato, cheese and other ingredients, they sit at a table and enjoy their lunch.\n\n\tBack in their car, and Johnny’s mom drops them off at the daycare center, she gets the two inside, and reminds Johnny to tell the Daycare attendant if he needs to go potty. She delivers the diapers, to change Johnny into if he has an accident (her way of knowing if he did remember to ask for the potty or not).\n\tJohnny and Jane-Jane had fun with the indoor slide, and soon the fun was brought outside, the two continued playing with the balls and other toys, and even playing tag.\n\tAs they run along under the playground slide, Johnny stops and feels a pressure again, and lowers down with a squat, tail raising up.\n\tWith inhales and exhales followed by grunts, he wets and drops one into his easy-on training pants, with more lowering, inhales and exhales, he closes his eyes and his shorts expand in the back, confirming what he just did in his pants.
