Her target: The Pendent of Aman-dar. \n\nThrough some \"connections\" Skyla managed to get (translation: Stole) an invite to the ball determined to claim that pendent in the name of her self proclaimed title and even though she didn't like the fancy life of frills and ribbons, she made the effort to blend in by dressing as fancy as possible complete with a mask one would wear at these balls. \n\nHer many trials of the night included the difficulty to remain conspicuous as to not blow her cover with her brash and snarky personality. Even when she was offered a dance by one of the more unaware guests of the ball. \n\nOnce she was able to slip away, she soon discovered sneaking through the manor proved difficult in a slimline dress and high heels. Especially when it came to avoiding security. No matter, She had her daggers and a few other items stashed on her person in preparation for such sticky situations. She was also very thankful the Guard at the door was too much of an imbecile to frisk her. \n\nUpon locating the Pendents whereabouts Skyla proceeded to use some careful planning and once cutting the power snagged the pendent in the confusion. One of the concepts when I was writing Skyla's part of the Novalla Universe was to have Skyla wear a lot of masks in her thieving career.
While i am still brainstorming something of that concept.

A passing thought of a Masquerade part soon led to the idea of "Huh... A thief at a Mask party. Maybe I can do something like that with Skyla." or something to that effect.  After sketching it up I had originally considered just uploading that and leaving it there. But I felt It wouldn't do the idea of what I was trying to capture any justice which had led me to making this a full project.
