The sun was slowly raising over the horizon as morning light was shining down upon the land and that tops of the Ever Grande City Stadiums, the few crew members were there cleaning and setting everything up while the news crew were also getting this set up and prepared as well, as the fighters were resting still in their rooms but one in particular, Rose, was tossing and turning in her sleep until she sat up gasping from the nightmare as her breathing heavily holding her head then looking to the other bed seeing it was empty as she gasped and called out, "Konjou?  Master?!" Konjou opened the front door from the living room, "What is it, Rose?  You alright?" he asked as she breathes out a sigh of relief, "... yeah... just a nightmare that..." she stopped for a moment and shook her head thinking she shouldn't tell him about it, "... I don't remember."  "I see, well, you can rest a little longer if you wish.  I'm just cooking up some food for the day." he said and gently left the door open as she watches him go then looks down with her paws still trembling from the dream of her winning the championship and seeing Konjou slowly disappear before her as she tries to get a hold of him but to many fans were holding her back as she was calling out to him but her voice wasn't able to project until he was gone and was able to scream out his name in the darkness, she felt like she couldn't sleep any further and decided to go and get ready for the long day of the top 16 battlers; where Rose will be battling an opponent today to have 8 fighters left at the end of the day and she was trying to be more focused the fight coming up for her.

After Rose finished her shower she went to the dining table and both Konjou and her ate but Rose was still having trouble focusing on the match ahead of her as Konjou looks to her seeing she was having trouble keeping her focus that after he finished he stood up, "Rose, I'm going out for a bit.  I'll meet you at the stadium.  Don't worry about the dishes I'll take care of them later." she looked to him suddenly a little shocked that he would leave her now but when trying to talk she didn't know what to say as he then touches her shoulder, "Just breathe and relax, I'll see you in a bit." he said as he exits the room, she watched him leave as the door closed behind him, a sense of loneliness surrounded her as she was thinking about Meltov's prediction and that maybe it was coming true, she didn't want it to be true that she stormed out the room to chase after Konjou.  She ran through the hallway and outside looking for him but didn't see a trace of him that she sat on the bench holding her head shuddering as she breathed, she wasn't sure what to do as she felt like all her energy was gone and didn't have the fighting spirit anymore but then she hears familiar voices calling her name that when she looks up she then gasped as her youngest siblings; Chuckie and Bell jumped and hugged her, "Rowsie!" Bell said, "Hewo Rowsie!" Chuckie added as Rose smiles, "Bell, Chuckie, what are you doing here?" she asked as she then hears her Mother, "We're all here to watch you in the final fights of the competition." she said as Rose looks up to see her entire family including grandparents standing there as she stood up lightly shedding some tears and hugs them all glad that they could be here to support her.

Rose looks to them, "This is a wonderful surprise, but you didn't have to come here." she said as her grandmother Elizabeth spoke, "We wanted to, dear.  Also I want to see my granddaughter win and become a champion." she said as Rose smiled and blushed with a little nod, then her father comes up to her, "My darling daughter." he said in a sweet tone then looks at her with a look of worry and concern, "Did he do anything to you?!" she looked to him then sighed, "No dad, he's not done anything to me that you would consider bad or naughty throughout our travels, just like I said before leaving to come here." she said as her mother pinches his cheek tugging him away as he grunts, "Come dear, let's go and check into our rooms at the center before we're too late." "Ah, ow!  Ok, just let go!" they head off while her siblings wish her good luck and will see her later at the stadium, but Elizabeth said she wanted to talk with Rose a little that she takes her paws to sit down together on the bench, "Tell me, how has Silver been?" she asked while Rose blushed, "He's been wonderful to me, I've never felt so strong and capable after all the training I've done with him." she said thinking back on all the training they've done to this point, "That's good dear, but why were you looking so defeated?" she said as Rose's smile faded thinking on what Meltov said, "... there was... a fortune teller yesterday... that told me something which... which has made me feel like quitting." "Quit?  Why?" Elli asked, "... he said that once the tournament was over... Silver... will disappear." she said as Elli looked a little confused, "Disappear?  What do you mean by that?" "I mean... that he'll return to his home... leaving me alone." she said lightly closing her eyes and was shivering a little.

Elli lightly touches her shoulder, "Rose... do you love him?" Rose blushes a bit heavily, "I still remember having that little talk when you were turning 15.  That love is a wonderful thing and if you love him, you should tell him before he leaves." she said smiling gently as Rose shook her head a little, "But I'm not ready to tell him... but I don't want him to leave either... what do I do?" she asked looking to Elli with eyes pleading for an answer to her problem as Elli looked down thinking to herself unsure on what to say about such a thing, someone leaving to return to their home after helping them so much, but before she could think of anything solid to say there was a beeping sound coming from Rose's pocket.  Rose looks and sees it was time for her to get to the stadium for her battle in the next 10 minutes but Rose didn't look like she was ready to battle, but her grandmother Elli touched foreheads, "We'll talk more after your battle and have fun with the family, ok?" Elli asked as Rose looks to her and nods, "Good girl, I'll tell the family and we'll be cheering for you in the stands." she said standing and heading her way to the center to gather the family to the stadium; Rose watched smiling a little as she stood up and heads to the stadium, but inside she was still feeling a little cold wondering what to do with her troubles, wanted answers but didn't know who to turn to for any with this kind of problem.

Rose arrives at the stadium to see Konjou waiting for her where she felt a little easier that he didn't disappear yet though was silent as if she was focusing on the match ahead of her, but before she passes Konjou, he stepped in front of her, "Rose..." he said as he took her hand and looks in her eyes as she did into his blushing a little deeply, "Remember to stay focus and fight smart." he said gently to softly kiss her forehead.  Rose felt like she turned red all over from her first kiss on the forehead from Konjou and spoke, "I'll win this match, no problem, master." she said with a smile and gripped his hand in return and headed inside as he watched her, "... I know you'll win this match, Rose... but... what's troubling you so much, that you can't tell me?" Konjou asked himself softly that Rose couldn't head as she arrived and inserted her Battle-Com to show she was here and ready to battle, after the kiss to her forehead she felt her energy had returned and was ready for her next opponent.  The clock ticked down as she awaited but while waiting she looks and sees her family arrive and get front row seats to cheer for her as she smiled then looks to Konjou, "... master... I want you to come out with me when they call my name." she said, "But Rose, this-" "Please, Konjou?  I want them to know that you trained me.  Please?" she asked as he was a little silent but then softly nods, "Alright." she smiles, "Thank you, master." she said smiling softly feeling a little more relieved.

In a few moments it was peaceful then they hear the announcer speak, "Ladies and Gentlemen!  Our battlers have both arrived and here they are!  To my left is the disaster in the desert with the volcanic temper, Craig!" the crowd cheers as a heavyset male Camerupt walks out then stomps the ground a bit and grunts, "And to my right is the black beauty of fiery passion, Rose!" the crowd cheers as she comes out waving to the crowd, especially to her family as they were cheering the loudest, while about 5 steps behind her Konjou walked out and the cameramen aiming at Rose's entrance noticed Konjou following her but from their eyes they see a shiny Ninetales as the announcer sees this and speak, "Oh, l-ladies and gentlemen, we have a real special treat here in the stadium, it appears that the famous and well-renowned Phantom Fighter; Silver Fox has made an appearance!" the crowd looks and cheers for the arrival of the famous Silver Fox as Konjou gently touches Rose's shoulder as she looks to him with a smile then he stands near the entrance they came out from and she gets into battle position.  The announcer was speechless but mustered up some words, "Uh, oh, yes, it's time for Craig and Rose to do battle!" he said as they both were facing each other with Craig speaking, "Heh, let me guess, he helped your train, right?" he asked as Rose stayed focused, "Heh, no matter, I'll beat you in no time with a couple of moves." he said as they both were ready and the announcer calls it, "And begin!" he shouted.

As the battle began Craig makes the first move as his arms pulsed as he charged forward using 'Strength' to knock her back but she used 'Protect' to not take any damage while then stomps the ground using 'Fissure' as the ground under her opens up as Rose gasped and jumps to the side and uses 'Mud-Slap' tossing mud in his face as Craig grunts a bit from being blinded where Rose took this chance to use 'Solarbeam' charging up then once Craig was able to see he then sees Rose strike as it hits him, she smiles a bit then it faded as she heard Craig laughing as Rose then shook her head remembering he's a fire/ground type and isn't effected by grass type moves that she had to rethink her strategy.  Craig uses 'Earth Power' causing the ground to shake as she then uses 'Substitute' letting the replacement take the damage as she rolls out of the way, she used some of her energy for the decoy then was thinking what she should use against him and realizes what to use as she looks to Craig as he uses 'Rock Polish' to increase his speed as she then uses 'Flame Charge' increasing her speed and tackles Craig as he grunts a bit then Rose thrusts her fist with a ring of blue orbs swirling around, 'Hidden Power' endowed with the element of water that once making contact with Craig, she pushes and the water bursts Craig into the air as he screamed taking a lot of damage from the attack but just to be sure Rose tosses a 'Shadow Ball' hitting him a bit further as he lands with a thud and when the smoke settled Craig was knocked out; "The winner is Rose!" the audience cheered and her family was as she stands and waves to everyone and smiles at Konjou as he nods gently to her.

Rose soon walks up to Konjou and both then exit the stadium, it took a moment before her family came to her as they were talking about the battle she went through and how wonderfully she did out there, then her father comes up and speaks with Konjou privately but in sight to where his stern look lightens up but gave that last motion that he was keeping an eye on him and Konjou nods lightly understanding, soon they all went out and enjoy the rest of the day with the festivities still about that Rose's siblings were enjoying Konjou's company like she has, but they still see him as the shiny Ninetales known as Silver as they were playing games and even some very interesting conversations, advice and pointers, like when her brother; Lance, asked to play a basketball game, Silver won but afterwards gave Lance some pointers and it was definitely more fluid with his body, her sister; Martha, was very intrigued with Silver's movements and how he is able to fight the way he does as he explained in formulas and equations that blew her mind, she was indeed amazed that he is able to explain it in a way that she could comprehend in such a matter, was able to play along with her younger siblings Brandon, Lisa, Chuckie and Bell to even tell them a little fairytale story that they were able to fall asleep when it became time for them to sleep, the conversation with her parents and grandparents also seemed to go well and could see why Rose likes him, especially her grandmother Elli.

Rose's grandmother; Elli, was indeed interested that she couldn't hold back any further, "Silver... you are a very interesting and special guy, I can see why she likes you... that I request to have a battle you." she said as this surprised Rose a bit as Elli's husband Jason asked, "Are you sure you want to battle with him?  Maybe I should team up with you."  "Nonsense, I'll handle him 1 on 1.  What do you say Silver?" she asked, "I'm good with a 2 on 1 battle if you are." Konjou said as they both get to the training area in the pokemon center with Rose on the sidelines with the other with the timer set for 2 minutes, "Just a fair warning, Jay and I have never lost when we battle together." she said, "Thank you for the warning." Konjou said to where the timer started and off they went, Elli uses 'Hyper Voice' while Jay uses 'Swift' as Konjou dodges with 'Flame Charge' spinning and flipping to then slides along the ground using 'Flamethrower' to thrust himself into the air and send a short strike in the air with 'Psyshock' before then diving into the ground using 'Dig', Elli and Jay were very surprised by his strange tactics and use of attack as was Rose while the pair pressed their backs against one another then jumped forward and turned tossing 'Sludge Bomb that collided with one another as Konjou flew out taking the hit but then see he was shielded by concealing himself inside his own 'Fire Spin' and then both were struck by 'Energy Ball' that also dispersed the flames causing them to slide outside the ring with Konjou landing as the timer rings ending the match.

Everyone was very amazed at what they saw and could see how he became such a renowned fighter with such crazy yet ingenious and creative tactics as those, he explained to them that one needs to think on their feet an assess the situation that's placed on oneself and he's had to improvise and think on his feet a lot when battling even while he was training, cause if someone knows all the moves you can use then you need to react and move to always keep the opponent guessing, where Elli indeed respected that as did Jay and the others but Rose's father was still not fully convinced on him yet but seemed to be getting there, Rose was smiling and thinking that today has been a very good end to a wonderful day.  It was getting close to 10:30 at night as Rose and Konjou bid her family a good night then headed to their room in the hotel to where they got themselves changed for the night all the while talking, "My siblings really like you, Konjou... well, all but my father, but I think he'll warm up to you... someday." she said, "I'm in no hurry, your father just wants his daughter to be safe.  No parent wants to see their hurt in any way." he said as she nods softly as she was gently thinking a little then speaks up, "... Konjou... would you, I mean... hmm, never mind.  Good night." Konjou nods his head gently, "Good night, Rose." he said as they both soon got themselves into their own beds and fell asleep, but not long after her eyes closed she was slowly remembering what Meltov said that echoed in her mind.

That night, Konjou and Rose were in their beds but Rose was still awake thinking about what Meltov said as she then sat up on her bed thinking a little before then speaking, "... Konjou... you awake?"  "... I am.  Is something wrong, Rose?" he asked looking to her as she was silent for a moment lightly gripping the blanket a little, "I-I can't sleep..."  "Nervous?" he asked as she shook her head, "No... I just..." she was not sure how to say it as she looked away a little as Konjou then sat up to look at her, "I... I never would have made it this far withouto you.  Thank you."  "I'm sure you would have made it here, Rose, you would just need the courage to do so." he said as she looked down a little then moved to sit on the edge of her bed and lightly rubbed her feet together, "... I... suppose your right.  Though I... I feel so much stronger with you around." she said as he looks to her a bit and her to him blushing, "... I'm just very happy that your here with me as my master." she said lightly moving off her bed and standing up, "I... um... can I... sleep with you, master?" she asked looking to him a little saddened but hopeful and wanting to be near him tonight, Konjou looks to her sensing she was not going to sleep well tonight from what may be on her mind as he nods gently, "... if you’re sure, Rose, come and rest." he said as she smiled and got under the covers with him to both now be laying in the same bed, she was blushing a little heavily but she had her eyes closed, "... master, can you hug me, please?" she asked as Konjou gently put his arm around to hug her as she smiled and snuggled in against him more and was slowly beginning to fall asleep, "... master..." she softly said  with her head against his chest while Konjou looks to her and softly hums a little tune that softly echoed in the night sky under the light of the moon.

It was 6th and final day of the tournament where the last 8 fighters will battle for their chance to face against the champion and the battles were already on the way; Rose was in the midst of a battle against Kel; a male Mightyena, where he uses 'Shadow Ball' and Rose also uses 'Shadow Ball' to stop his but also strikes with 'Solarbeam' that knocks Kel back as he tumbles a bit on the ground while Rose watched standing there but at that moment Kel stood up and fires instantly his 'Hyper Beam', Rose gasped then ducks and uses her 'Flamethrower' to propel herself along the ground under Kel's attack which she then grip her fist ready to strike, Kel stopped Rose went under his legs and turned stopping to then thrust her fist using 'Rock Smash' into Kel's chest when he turned to face her, but he then falls backwards and was out for the count as the announcer calls Rose the winner of this match.  The crowd was cheering for Rose including her family as Konjou at the entrance was clapping as well, Rose progresses to the final 4 with 2 more fights to go and she didn't want to stop while her family watches but she didn't want to lose Konjou, she was still struggling between her goal to be the next champion and her love for Konjou as her heart was slowly aching the closer she got, but she was standing with Konjou all the time needing his strength while they both were watching the others battle their way to the finals, Konjou being there was the only thing she felt was keeping her battling and she didn't know what to do if he left.

Later on with only 4 battlers left there were 2 more matches for Rose to be in while the 2 matches were about to begin with Rose and Lacy; a female Girafarig to start it off, after a brief introduction of the 2 battlers from the announcer the fight was on but it was to be and unexpected turn for Rose as Lacy uses 'Tackle' but Rose evades with 'Double Team' and strikes with 'Fire Punch' then 'Iron Tail' as Lacy grunts falling back and tumbling on the ground as she tries to get up as Rose looks to her waiting for her to stand up again to fight but Lacy looks to Rose then thrusts her arms to then use 'Power Swap' and Guard Swap', Rose grunts as her muscles shrink down to match Lacy's, while Lacy's muscles swelled to match Rose's and stood up looking to Rose.  Rose stepped back a little from the surprise but then remembered Konjou's words forewarned her about Lacy's strategy, "Stolen strength hinders one's mobility, never get caught, endure and strike like lightning.", Rose looked as Lacy smiled as she was about to attack but Rose used 'Flame Charge' to dodge and punch Lacy's side making her stumble a bit unable to use her attack but she tries again but Rose used 'Flame Charge' again to strike again that was increasing her speed each time that Lacy wasn't able to see where Rose was until it was too late as Rose uses 'Dark Pulse' on Lacy causing her to fall backwards with a thud and was knocked out making Rose the winner and since Lacy was unconscious her 'Power/Guard Swap' wore off and her muscles returned to normal as did Rose's with her breathing out a sigh of relief then heads to Konjou to leave the stadium.

The last match was underway as Rose watched the Amber; a female Blaziken fighting against Hank; a male Lickitung and to no surprise Rose saw Amber use her strongest attacks to take her opponent out in a matter of minutes but still keeping herself looking beautiful while doing it, once it was done the announcer comes on the screen and tells everyone listening, "Ladies and Gentleman!  We're down to our last 2 fighters; the blazing fists of a Blaziken beauty, Amber and the burning might of a hot Houndoom and star pupil of the phantom fighter, Rose!  These 2 fighters will battle it out for the chance to take on the champion!  So be back here for the most volcanic battle we'll ever see, coming up at 5 o'clock!" he said as Rose rested with her family while Konjou was nearby while they ate and drank.  Time almost seemed to speed up for Rose that she could swear she was feeling her time with Konjou was slipping away with no answer on how to extend her time with him or stop him from leaving, but there was no answer that she could get from Meltov at the time or even from her grandma Elli while her mind was buzzing and her heart was aching as the clocked ticked, meanwhile the stadium was filling up as everyone that was there; fighters, friends and family alike were getting into their seats anxiously awaiting the fiery battle against these 2 female fire type poke'battlers, this battle was going to determine who was the strongest between her rival; Amber and herself.

Konjou and Rose were both there awaiting in the locker for it to start that Rose wanted to ask him for advice in this next battle but more so on her choice, "Master, I want to win... but I feel if I do, I will lose as well... how do I win without losing?" Rose asked as Konjou looked down thinking to himself for a moment before then speaking, "Rose, winning and losing are 2 sides of the same coin." Rose looked down a bit, "Though..." he began with her looking at him with a little hope in her heart, "The double-edge blade damages both the enemy as well as its user if not careful.  Strike your opponent, don't hurt yourself, let the final blow be made out of their own desperation." he said, Rose looked at him uncertain but nods as she thinks to herself deeply on telling her master now about her love for him or about what Meltov has told her with him leaving.  Konjou could see she was struggling with something that was tugging on her mind but he didn't want to appear like he was prying into something she didn't want him to know about, all he could do is wait for her to tell him and at the moment she stood up and hugged him tightly shivering as she was biting her lower lip with eyes closed, she didn't want to let go of him, she didn't want him to leave, she thought to herself that she was going to die without him and that it was unfair for her to find love and it had to be taken away soon after achieving her goal, if only she didn't have to fight against Amber, if only she had more time with him, if only she could stop time.

The announcer spoke on the speakers saying that 5 minutes remain before the battle begins and the fighters best get to enter the battle field, Rose gripped Konjou's back and gritted her teeth not wanting to lose Konjou, but before she could say anything she felt Konjou gently stroke her head as Konjou didn't want to let her chances to be a champion fade away so he gently began to speak, "... Rose... you've grown so much into a fighter that will make your family proud.  Whatever it is that's troubling you, you have nothing to worry about right now.  Amber doesn't know the first thing about training hard, self-discipline, determination, spirit, honor and heart, for those are the makings of a true champion, not having the money to buy things.  Because no one... can buy the experiences that you've been through." Rose was lightly shedding a tear as Konjou gently lifted her face to lightly wipe the tear from her cheek, "Remember the double-edge blade, Rose.  It's your key to your personal victory.  And only you can open the door." he said as Rose sniffs a little gently smiling for his encouraging words and advice that she nods and walks out with him to the arena where the announcer at the time was calling Amber to the field, then called Rose to the field as Konjou followed to where she looks to him once more as he smiles gently and nods as she nods to him to face Amber with a determined look on her face, she walked to the center of the stage and glared at one another, Amber looking overconfident and smug while Rose looked focused and ready as they took their stances to battle.

There was tension in the air that Aaron, a Flygon and current champion was watching from his private box looking down at Konjou before the fight where Konjou looks to Aaron a bit as well, "You've trained one heck of a fighter there, Silver, she's made it this far, but will she make it to fight me?" he thought to himself as Elli was thinking to herself as well, "Rose, you've really grown into a real fighter, much like myself at your age, but with Silver's help, I think you've gone beyond what I could ever have dreamed of and you've matured so much.  He really is special, I can see why you fell for him." she said as they look upon Amber and Rose, at this moment Amber was speaking with Rose, "Hmm, didn't think you'd make it this far, blubber chest, you must be lucky, but it's going to run out today." Amber continued to speak down on Rose while she looked at Amber thinking deeply on what Konjou said, "Remember the double-edge blade, Rose.  It's your key to your personal victory.  And only you can open the door." she asked herself on what that meant, she wondered if he knew about Meltov's prediction and he was telling her there was another way to solve her problem, but how could he know, how could he have known, did he speak with Meltov or was he psychic as well, she really didn't know what to think but she knew that she needed to focus on the battle at hand and prove Amber, she can't get everything with money and her beauty alone, she needed to learn that it takes hard work and dedication to get this far, that she then hears the announcer telling them that the fight was to begin.

Amber strikes with 'Poison Jab' while Rose quickly uses 'Protect' to guard herself to follow up with 'Swift' as Amber dodges the attack smirking as she then uses 'Stone Edge' many sharp rocks flying towards her while Rose uses 'Double Team' dodging the assault to stop and uses 'Flame Charge' to increase her speed while Amber uses 'Quick Atk', appearing in front of Rose and striking her, she grunts skidding backwards for a moment as she then thrusts a 'Shadow Ball' as Amber smirks using 'Protect' as she then stepped forward to attack but blue orbs appeared through the smoke and strikes her as she screams a bit knocking her back a distance, Rose had used water element 'Hidden Power' that was hidden behind the first as a decoy to where she grunts and stomps the ground to use 'Earthquake' as Rose stood there as the dust covered Amber's sight from Rose's damage as she laughs, but Rose flies into the air having used 'Solarbeam' the propel herself off the ground just in time while then thrust her palm using 'Sludge Bomb' into Amber's face.  The crowd was amazed at Rose's ingenuity in that last move, they believed that she learned that from the Phantom Fighter Silver, after all she did train under him, so it was the only thing that made sense to them that she would use a move like that, even Aaron was surprised as he then laughed to himself, "She really has learned from you, Silver, I should be just as careful when I fight her." he said while Elli smiled, "He's truly taught you well.  Show that bird your strength, your strength of your love!" she said gripping her fist in front of herself.

Konjou watched and saw that 'Sludge Bomb' has now poisoned Amber, thus Rose had the advantage in the sense of time but and needed to outlast her, but in order for Rose to achieve the goal she wants right now, she needs to figure it out what he said before it's too late; at the moment Rose was standing before Amber breathing a little taking this time to think about what Konjou had said, still figuring out what he meant about the double-edge blade being the key to her problem, she didn't understand as she closed her eyes trying to figure it out as hard as she could, Amber grunts as she stood up where she unwittingly used 'Frustration' that increased her power as she kicks Rose in the stomach followed by 'Double Kick' hitting her multiple times as Rose was grunting from each hit.  The crowd was gasping from the sudden turn around with back to back kicks, Rose's family were shocked from it that even her younger siblings were starting to cry from this sight, Aaron was slightly grimacing from the display of brutality that Amber was dishing out on Rose, even Marina, a female Marrill that is a part of Amber's crew along with Joe aka Joker, a male Aipom and ex-best friend of Rose's didn't want to see the fighting much more, Konjou looked on as he could tell Amber was angry towards Rose and that Rose was still wondering on what he said about the double-edge blade being the key, he was hoping she would find out soon and end this match how she wishes to end it.

Rose was taking hits and just as Amber's third assault of 'Double Kick' had finished allowed Rose to use 'Hyper Voice' pushing Amber back as she covered her ears in pain, Rose lands on the ground feeling she has to finished this but was still wondering how to win and keep Konjou from disappearing, she just didn't quite understand what he meant but was injured and feeling near her limit from that attack that she then sat down crossed her legs and meditated while using 'Rest' which healed her body completely but left her vulnerable for a while; Amber having shaken off the pain looks at Rose and her 'Frustration' stopped and she was acting smug once more, "Oh, you giving up already, time for a little nap!  I'll show you to fall asleep in front of me!" she said as she swiped her fists and formed 'Shadow Claw' to strike at Rose while she slept.  Inside her mind Rose knew Amber was attacking her but was thinking to herself, "... double-edge blade... what does he mean by it being the key... double-edge... wait, there is an attack called 'Double-Edge' and it damages the user as well as it's opponent so...!!  That's it, I know what do!" she said while Amber was striking her, "Prepare to say good-bye, Blubber Chest!!" she said but her wrist was caught and was tossed into the air and over Rose having just used 'Reversal' where Amber thuds on the ground while Rose stood up knowing what she must do to win this fight and how to keep Konjou with her longer.

Konjou smiles a little with a nod as he could see that Rose knew what to do, she just needed to execute her plan before it's too late, Amber was a bit flustered as she stands up and Rose spoke, "Amber, let's end this, I know you can use 'Giga Impact' and I can too.  So let's see who's is stronger." she said as Amber kind of blinded by her rage and pride she stood up, "Alright then, I'll prove to you that I am and always will be stronger than you!" she said as they both took a stance gripping their fists facing one another as the air became tense and their aura was surrounding them, the crowd watched as they were feeling the intense energy grow between them, Rose's family and Aaron were on the edge of their seats waiting for the final strike between these fiery battlers.  Amber and Rose both charged one other with great speed as their auras burned brightly as they both were using 'Giga Impact' but time seemed to have slowed down for Rose as she was looking to her family especially to her grandmother and was thinking to herself, "Grandma, I'll keep my promise in winning the championship someday." she then looks to Konjou and smiles brightly, "But right now, I want to be with my love a bit longer." she said to herself as she closed her eyes and her aura faded just as Amber slams into Rose, Amber looks to Rose smirking that she won but when seeing Rose was smiling she slightly was confused while Rose flew backwards and tumbling on the ground to pass the arena's ring, the announcer speak, "Rose, you have 10 seconds to get back in the ring or you have forfeit the match." he said about to count.

Amber was standing looking at Rose seeing she was still smiling  and not move as the judge began the countdown, Amber confused at this began to speak, "Why?  Why did you stop?  Why were you smiling?!  Answer me!!" she said just as the poison took effect and the last of her strength was gone and began to fall, just then Amber was remembering the words that Silver said, "You may find yourself lost after a battle has occurred, wanting answers to questions that will never come, until you yourself actually open your eyes to what's happened." as Amber falls forward she was stunned as well from Silver's words to do anything but land on her knees and began to think, "... she... she could have beaten me, but didn't... am I... wrong?" she thought to herself as she then thuds on the ground just as the announcer was moments from starting the countdown and when seeing Amber down, he then speaks again, "Um, uh, Amber if you don't get up in 10 seconds you also forfeit the match.  10!" he said and started the countdown as the crowd watched, mumbling to one another at such a sight.  Aaron stood up and stepped forward looking down at the field, "... is this really... how it's going to end?" he asked himself while Rose's family were trying to cheer her on to get back up and in the ring, Elli looks to Konjou, "Silver!  Go and talk to her!  Tell her to get in the ring!" she said but Konjou looks to her with a small smile then when looking closely at Rose, she gasped and smiles herself, "I see... your following your heart.  Aren't you, Rose?" she said gently to herself as the announcer was finishing the countdown, "3!  2!  1!  Both battlers have not gotten up and according to the rules; they are both disqualified to fight the champion!  W-which means that the tournament is over and our champion is Aaron Speare!" he said.

The crowd was a little shocked for words but they hear clapping from Konjou, followed by Rose's grandmother, then Aaron, Marina and the rest of Rose's family until finally the rest of the crowd cheers for such a wonderful battle that it will indeed be a spectacular ending to a tournament, that Rose gently breathes in and out a bit to stand up and walk over to Konjou as she bows her head, "... thank you, master." she said smiling brightly as he bows his head, "Your welcome, Rose." he said to her as they both walk out of the stadium together.  Meanwhile as the crowd even after seeing Rose and Konjou leave there was the wigglytuff news reporter speaking, "This is indeed an amazing turn of events, the final round to qualify and face the champion ends suddenly with both battlers now disqualified, this is certainly one for the history books along with Silver's reputation but I suppose this is to be expected from a pupil of his.  Now that it's over she leaves the stadium with her master in the night, leaving us with such passion and strength in our hearts it's like a fire that can't be put out.  The closing ceremonies will be starting sooner than expected, I feel certain that everyone will see that we may have another battler just like the famous and renowned Phantom Fighter, Silver Fox. Rose and her family at the pokemon center were talking to one another with her mother hugging her, "Oh Rose, what happened?  I thought you wanted to be a champion."  "I do mother, that's still my dream, but I think I want to travel some more, battle other gyms and see the world... as well as... be with Silver longer." she said as her mother smiles a little, "I wish you luck in your travels, my dear... as well as telling him how you feel." Rose blushed a bit and nods with a smile, "Thanks." Rose continued to say her goodbyes to the rest of her family as they all wished her luck, her father when hugging her then holds her shoulders, "Rose, are you sure you want to go traveling again... with him?"  "Dad."  "What?  It's a reasonable question.  I just want to know do you want to travel again after all you've been through so soon." he asked just as the doors of the center open with Konjou standing there with both her pack and his own ready to leave, Rose looks to Konjou and smiles then to her father, "I'm sure.  I'm in good hands with him, please; trust me." she said looking to her father as he sighs, "Alright... I trust you, Rose.  Good luck, my little battler."  "Thanks, dad." she said hugging him once more then looks to Konjou as she walks up to him, "You ready, Rose?" Konjou asked, "I'm ready, master." she said taking her pack as they all walked to the docks.

As they walked Konjou looks to Rose, "Where would you like to go first?"  "... I want to see the region you started in, as well as... where you appeared." she said as he looked to her then smiles a little as he looks forward, "Very well, we'll see about getting a boat to the Kanto region." he said as she smiled, once there the captain said he doesn't go to Kanto but there was another ship that does when they reach Mossdeep Town that would take them to Cinnabar Island, Rose and Konjou got on the boat that was leaving soon and they both looked at Rose's family and began to wave farewell to them just as fireworks at the stadium were shooting in the sky as it was the closing ceremonies for the Championship Tournament at Ever Grande City.  They were soon out of sight from her family as she breathes out a little missing them once again, "You could have spent more time with them, you know could have gotten a different boat tomorrow."  "Yes, I know... but I didn't want to stay there much longer." she said, "... are you sure you wanted it this way?  To end the tournament as a tie with Amber?" he asked as she smiles a little, "I'm sure... like you've told me before.  When you win you gain experience, from a loss you gain knowledge that increases the experience when you win." she said as he nods, "And you, Rose, have learned a lot." he said as she giggles a little lightly taking his hand into hers holding it up and looking at him, "That's because I have a good master to teach me." she said smiling as he smiles back gently with a nod as they both look out at the ocean in the night heading off to their next adventure when they reach the Kanto Region.
