//------------------------------// // Chapter VI: New In Town Part 2 // Story: A Soiled Universe // by Odlaw //------------------------------// "Beautiful..." Twilight hears Spike sigh in awe as they enter Ponyville's town hall, where the Summer Sun Celebration will be held. It was very ornately decorated, with banners and matching fabrics hanging from the ceiling and off the many overhanging balconies overlooking the large room. The decorations seem to glint and shimmer in the sunlight streaming through large windows covering many of the walls. It was very well done, reminding Twilight of some of the decorations commonly used in the royal palace. "Beautiful indeed. It looks like the decor is coming along nicely, so this should be quick and easy. I'll be back at the library in no time!" "N-not the decor, h-her!" Spike says, pointing to a mare Twilight didn't notice was there. She was facing away from them at the far end of the room, levitating various colored ribbons, comparing them to one another. 'That must be the unicorn in charge of decorations, Rarity.' Based on looks alone she certainly would fit in with some of the fancy or fashionable noble ponies back in Canterlot. Her coat was a white color and her curly purple mane and tail both looked very well maintained. An elegant purple dress, similar in color to her mane, was draped over her body, with side shoulder straps and two long slits on each side that exposed her legs and the trio of gems on each thigh. The mare had an almost perfect hourglass figure with large D-Cups and a very round and shapely posterior. The fabric of her dress was clearly not very thick as her nipples were visibly indenting outwards. This combined with the lack of any strap or hem had Twilight doubting whether or not the mare actually had anything on underneath her dress. Looking down at Spike she found him once again entranced by another one of the, admittedly attractive, mares in this town. She had pretended not to notice it when they met with Applejack earlier but now it was beginning to feel...irritating, and she couldn't figure out why. Spike was a fully grown stallion now, so why should she care who he...ogles at. But why the mares here specifically? There were plenty of attractive ponies in Canterlot, though he never showed any real interest in most of them. Walking over to the fancy mare who was busily sorting through various colored ribbons, Twilight tries to get her attention. "Um, excuse me, is your name Rarity?" Twilight asks. "Just a moment, please! I'm in-the-zone as it were." She calls back in a familiar noble-ish accent. She appeared to be trying to find the perfect ribbon to tie around a wooden column that held up one of the upper balconies. "Oh yes! A little sparkle always does the trick, does it not?" She quickly and expertly ties her chosen ribbon into a bow around the column, a slight glittery sparkle floating in the air around it. 'Huh, so she can enchant fabric? That's pretty impressive, most nobles from Canterlot have problems levitating a heavy bag of groceries, much less intricately tieing a ribbon.' They would often just one of their underpaid servants to do things for them. 'Why couldn't they just learn to carry things themselves?' Behind her, Spike has to resist the sudden urge to sneeze. "Now, how can I help-Whahahah!" the mare dramatically yelps. "Oh, my stars, darling! Whatever happened to your coiffure?!" "Oh, my mane? That's kind of a long story, I'm just here to check on the decorations and then ill be getting out of your hair." Twilight explains. "My hair?! Darling, what about your hair?!" Spike felt like he was looking at the very definition of beauty personified. Rarity had managed to drag a very reluctant Twilight from the town hall, all the way back to her Boutique in order to get her hair fixed up. Twilight had been gesturing to Spike for help though admittedly he had been quite distracted at the time. While following along behind the two he had been unable to even entertain the idea of taking his eyes from Rarity's beautiful heart-shaped rear which was perfectly defined by her loose yet form-fitting dress. It wasnt until Rarity had gotten Twilight's mane back to its original style that she even acknowledged his presence. She seemed to give him a close look-over as if taking his measurements in her head. She was either somehow completely oblivious or used to getting the infatuated looks he gave her. Afterwards, Rarity had offered to make Twilight a brand new outfit as a token of their meeting but Twilight declined, claiming she was fine with what she had. "Oh, honestly darling, I feel that, while definitely a classic, the whole 'schoolgirl slut' outfit was so last spring's thing. Now I of all ponies can relate with a mare who wants to flaunt her natural feminine charms, but you should really try one of the outfits from my new summer line if you're really wanting to get noticed." To say Twilight blushed upon hearing this would be an understatement. Spike was pretty sure he had seen ripe tomatoes less red than she became in under a microsecond. A disheveled and stuttering mess, Twilight was unable to resist as Rarity shoved her back behind a changing screen along with a series of outfits for her to try on. Most of them were a bust, with Rarity rejecting them almost the moment Twilight stepped out wearing them. Spike didn't really think most of them were that bad, especially some of the more risque ones. 'That 'The Mare Statue' themed costume was pretty cute on Twilight...' Twilight was only able to get a word in as she was trying out one of the few outfits rarity seemed to like. "Look, uh. Rarity, as much as I appreciate your generous offer to find me a new outfit, we really need to get going. We're on important business from Canterlot-" "Canterlot?!" Rarity shouts abruptly. "Oh, I am so envious! The glamour, the sophistication! I have always dreamed of living there myself! Oh, you simply must tell me all about it!" She pauses for a moment and looks up and down Twilight again. "Ugh, what was I thinking? Let me get you some proper dresses to try on, worthy of someone from Canterlot!" She exclaims, darting off excitedly into one of her storerooms. Once the coast is clear Twilight darts back behind the changing screen, grabbing her uniform from a table. "Quick, come on Spike!" She says, grabbing Spike by the tail in her magic and dragging him from the boutique. A minute later Rarity emerges from her storeroom, a rack of fancy dresses ready to be worn, but is puzzled to find Twilight nowhere to be seen. 'Hmm, I supposed she did mention she had somewhere urgent to be.' Rarity checks behind the changing screen and notices something lying on the ground. 'Oh, well I must be getting ready anyway. I don't want to be late for the party, it will be starting soon. I'll just have to return these panties she left here when I see her next.' "H-hey Spike?" Twilight asks as the two of them trek on the outskirts of town with Spike in the lead, holding the list. "Uh, yea?" "D-do you think this uniform makes me look...s-slutty?" She nervously stutters. "It, um, no! Well uh, it is a tiny bit small on you but I'm sure Rarity was just over exaggerating about it." "A-anyway, who was the last pony on the list again?" She asks. "Well, according to this, the last pony we need to meet is another pegasus who will be conducting the music for the event." Spikes says, thankful for the subject change. "Well, hopefully, this one won't mess up my mane, I don't need that crazy unicorn trying to style me again." Twilight sighs. As the pair continue forwards, they begin to hear what sounds like a chorus of birds singing together. "Hey, can you hear that?" Spike stops to ask. "Yea, it's coming from those bushes over there. I've never read about birds singing like that before..." Twilight says curiously. Spike walks over to the bushes by the road and brushes them aside revealing a small clearing amongst the thicker foliage due to the forest near town. In the middle of the clearing, a group fill of different species of birds sit on the branches of a tree, singing in harmony with one another. They are being conducted by a yellow pegasus with a long pink mane who is flying in front of them. 'I bet that's our mare, wow.' From this angle, most of her face was covered by her mane, and due to what she was wearing it was hard to make out much else. She wore a big zip-up hoodie that seemed many sizes larger than she needed. It stretched all the way down to her lower thigh, the large sleeves hanging loosely around her arms. As the song fades out Twilight steps past Spike, through the brush, and approaches the mare who seemed to be speaking with one of the birds. Spike is about to follow her when he stops dead, his face heating up, as he catches sight of Twilight from behind, her rear completely barren of cloth. Her little pink slit is easily visible between her legs, completely exposed to anyone who happened to be looking at her from behind. 'What in Equestria happened to her panties?!' "Hello?" Twilight calls up to the pegasus, unaware of her predicament. "Eep!" The pegasus yelps, causing her birds to scatter into the air. 'At least you can't tell from the front unless you are looking from below...' "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare your birds, I'm just here to check up on the music for the celebration." Twilight explains as the yellow pegasus mare slowly floats slowly over, not making eye contact. "..." The mare remains silent seemingly trying to sink further into her hoodie. "So, uh, whats your name?" Twilight asks, trying to break the awkward silence. The mare mumbles a response but it is a bit too quiet for Twilight to hear. "I'm sorry, what was that?" Twilight asks leaning forwards. Back in the bushes, steam fumes from Spike's nostrils. With Twilight bent over, he can see prominent smudges of brown between her butt cheeks, remnants from her accident before. 'Did she not wipe?!' The shy yellow mare mumbles again, even quieter this time. "Um, didn't quite catch that," Twilight says, leaning even closer, with a reassuring smile. The pegasus squeaks, hiding behind her mane. "..." The birds from before return, landing back into their positions on the tree's branches. "Well, um, it looks like your birds are back! I'll assume everything is going well, and uh, keep up the...good work." Twilight says. The mare only squeaks again in response. "Okaayyy then, alright, come on Spike, let's get back to the-." *Gasp!* A green blur blows past Twilight the previously shy pegasus suddenly materializing in front of Spike. "Gah!" He exclaims, hands shooting down, doing his best to conceal a long bulge in his shorts, courtesy of Twilight. "Oh my goodness! A-are you a dragon?!" She asks excitedly. "Um, yea?" He answers warily, unsure what to think of this mare. "Oh my gosh! I've never met a dragon before! I didn't know your kind had so many pretty looking spines!" She exclaims, jumping up and down with an adorable expression on her face. "Uh, yea thanks, they are pretty cool, so, what was your name?" He says with a light blush. "Oh! How rude of me! My name is Fluttershy, Mr. Dragon!" She says. "Well, it's nice to meet you Fluttershy, my names Spike." He tells her. She looks just about ready to barrage him with a million questions when Twilight walks up interrupts. "Well then, Fluttershy, Spike and I have to be going now. We've got some very important business at the library that we need to attend to." Twilight says, taking Spike by the shoulders and pushing him up the road. "Oh, I almost forgot, I need to head there too! I'll just come with you! I want to ask Mr. Spike some more questions. A-as long as he is okay with that of course." Twilight turns to say something but is cut off by Spike. "Sure! I don't mind!" Spike was enjoying the amount of positive attention he was getting. "Wow, really?!" Fluttershy gasps, holding a hand over her mouth. "Yup, and because of I'm a dragon, I naturally get pretty strong," Spike explains as the two walk side by side with Twilight behind them glaring at the back of Spike's skull. Due to Fluttershy's constant questions, it was taking a lot longer than it should have to get back to the library. It was getting steadily darker, and the sun was dipping below the horizon as the moon rose to begin its shift in the sky. It also felt like it had gotten much cooler, feeling slightly more chilly than normal. Twilight wasnt paying that much attention though, no, she wasnt even caring about how long they had. What was bothering her was this mare, Fluttershy. Not long after they left Spike had asked her what her talent was. She had promptly shed her hoodie in its entirety, just to show him her cutie mark, three butterflies. Twilight glances down at her own chest, and the modest cleavage she had. Looking back up she glared at the pegasi's ridiculously bountiful bust. Under her hoodie, she was wearing a white tank top and shorts. Her tank top seemed stretched to its maximum from her very large DD breasts that were almost as big as the Princess's, yet without her tall proportions. The mare wasnt as thin as Rarity but was still curvy in her own way. 'I'm beginning to feel...inadequate. I mean, I don't even care about how big mine are, but just about every mare we've seen in this town are either bigger than me or downright flat.' Twilight pouts, looking back to Spike... "And so that's why we're here in Ponyville!" Spike finishes having explained most of his life story to a still eagerly listening Fluttershy. He was really enjoying hanging out with Fluttershy, she seemed so interested in pretty much everything he talked about, it was definitely a nice change from many of the ponies from Canterlot. "Here we are, finally!" Twilight groans. Spike looks up to realize they were in the middle of town, having just reached the library. 'Wow, I got really invested in our conversations.' "H-hey, um Spike?" He hears Fluttershy ask. "Yea?" The mare looking down at her feet with her hair curly over her eyes, similar to how she looked back in the clearing earlier. "I know you said you probably won't be here long but...d-do you think you could come by my cottage tomorrow? I wanted to a-ask you a few more things..." She offers nervously. "Uhh, sure, ill see if I can get a break from Twilight." He answers. The mare looks almost overjoyed, leaping at him and wrapping him in a hug. Spike had been unprepared for the sudden embrace but returned it. 'Wow, she is soft...' "Come on Spike!" Twilight shouts, pulling him away with her magic and practically tossing Spike inside the library. "We have important things to do!" "Oh, u-um Miss Twilight?" Fluttershy asks. "Yea, a-huh?" Twilight says, not really paying attention as she checks their to-do list one last time. "Y-you should really not go out e-exposed like that. You might catch a cold or something!" "Yea, that's nice, bye," Twilight says monotonously before dashing inside, slamming the door behind her. "Ugh, where is that light switch?" Twilight angrily pouts, the both of them in pure darkness. "Huh, rude much?" She hears Spike say, nearby. *Sigh* 'Wait a minute...what did she mean by expos-' "SUPRISE!" The thunderous voices of almost the entire town's worth of ponies boom around them as the lights suddenly turn on. At the same time, the blast of a cannon is heard, and a rush of wind blows into Twilight, inverting her skirt upwards...
