//------------------------------// // Chapter III: Breakfast And A Book Part 1 // Story: A Soiled Universe // by Odlaw //------------------------------// Spike lay on his bed, trying to think of something to do. It would likely be a while till he could leave his room without risking arousing any suspicion. Looking around his room he eyes the various posters scattered about. One, in particular, drew most of his attention. It was a solo pinup of his favorite Power Pony, The Masked Matter-Horn. He started reading the series many years ago, but back then it had been made purely for kids. Almost perfectly in time, with him turning 18 the company that made them decided to make a new spin-off series oriented towards adults. Characters had been aged up and it seemed that just about every story arc featured a common fetish shared by most stallions. Reaching over to his bedside table he opens a drawer and grabs one of his favorite issues from the new series, The Masked Matter-Horn And The Desperation Dagger. The cover depicted the heroic mare hunched over, holding her stomach, looking at the viewer with an embarrassed expression. It was a well-known fact that mares upon reaching 18 and all the way up to their late fifties lost a good portion of their bladder and bowel control. Often times they wouldn't even feel the need to go until it was desperate, and usually too late to get to a bathroom in time. While some mares would be embarrassed by this others embraced it, sometimes even doing it on purpose. Twilight was somewhere in between, she would often just let go when around the house, but in public, she seemed to despise the attention it drew from other stallions or in some cases mares. She had likely never stopped to consider how Spike felt about it. Subconsciously replacing The Masked Matter-Horn with Twilight, he starts reading his comic. Twilight sat in her reading chair, having just finished creating next month's schedule. She was supposed to be checking it a third time but instead, she was staring out the window, head resting on her hand, deep in thought. She hadn't been able to chuck the idea that Spike could have been watching her out of her mind. The noise had come from the direction of his bedroom after all. Yet when she checked on him he had been sound asleep. That wasnt what had her thinking though. For some strange reason, just the idea of him watching her filled her stomach with a strange tingly sensation she hadn't been able to place. *Groowwll* Maybe she was just hungry. Checking the time, it was now 7:41, so the new shipment of books would hopefully be arriving soon. After that, she hoped Spike would be awake by then, he had always been the better cook between them, and his pancakes were to kill for. 'Maybe I should ask him if he heard anything this morning during breakfast...' She considered. As she pulls her hand away from her face she felt it stick for a moment. Inspecting her hand she was surprised to see a white stain on her index finger. How had she not noticed that before? Sniffing it, it smelled...kind of like cinnamon. Her hunger getting the better of her she shrugs and licks the white stuff off of her finger. 'Mmm, that tastes good, maybe I should ask spike to make some cinnamon rolls instead.' Getting up from her chair, she puts next month's schedule into its drawer and makes her way down the winding staircase to the next floor. She never really hung out on this floor, there were too many open balconies and windows that often left it feeling chilly. There were more floors down past this one but she didn't usually use them. She wished she could give whoever designed this place a piece of her mind, it seemed to be made specifically for pegasi. The only front door she had was at least three stories high with a long winding staircase to get down or up to it. With a light shrug, she picks out a random book from one of the underused bookshelves on this floor. A Brief History Of The Wagon Harness. 'Wow...i don't even remember owning this book, maybe I should sort through this room sometime.' *Knock Knock Knock* Twilight gets up from the stairs where she had been reading and looks out one of the windows by the door to see who was there. From the looks of it, it was indeed a delivery pony with a cart full of books. Answering the door she is met with a cross-eyed pegasus mare. "Hello, Sir or Madam! I am here to deliver your mail today!" The mailmare declares proudly. She wore what Twilight could only assume was the Canterlot Postal Service uniform. It was a standard issue tan cropped button-up shirt used by most of the big businesses in Canterlot. In combination with the microskirt she wore, it showed off a lot of her thin waist. The mare's D-Cup breasts also stood out proudly, a bit of underboob exposed from how high the shirts were cropped. Her dark blue microskirt also made it very obvious she had forgotten a piece of clothing, not that any stallions that happened to be below her as she flew minded much. The one thing that really drew Twilight's attention, however, was how strangely the shirt had been buttoned up. Most of the buttons were in the wrong holes, resulting in it looking very uneven and messy. "Ah, yes, and you are sure these books are the ones from Celestia?" Twilight asks, a bit concerned she may have lost some. "Ummm, I think so yea!" The mare responds bouncing happily in place, the buttons on her shirt threating to give way at any moment. "Well, alright then, thanks for being on time," Twilight says, inspecting all the books one by one as they are levitated inside. "Your welcome Miss! I must be off now, I need to make more deliveries to ponies in need!" The mare says cheerfully, turning around and taking off into the air...and flying straight into another tower. Twilight hadn't been paying attention though, she was looking through her new books, and she began to notice a similar theme among their titles. Elementals And Where To Find Them, Finding Lost Relics, The Science Of Enchanted Items, etc. However, one book, in particular, stood out from the rest. Mostly due to the fact it didn't even seem to have a title at all. The cover had a golden unicorn bust engraved onto it, with small swirls in the corners of the cover. 'What book is this supposed to be?' She already had planned to read a few of the new books during her free time. 'Ah, I'll just bring this one when I go out later, Celestia may have said I needed to go outside but that doesn't mean I cant read anything while I'm out' 'Whew that issue never gets old, or at least his dick thought so. Looking out his window again, it seemed to be later in the day so it was probably fine to leave now. He was getting hungry anyway. Getting out of bed, he quickly rummages through his dresser and throws on some simple cargo shorts and a green collared shirt. Exiting his room, he sees Twilight standing in the middle of the study, various books being levitating around the room exchanging places with each other on different shelves. She wearing the onesie from last night, evident by the dark stains down her legs still being present. "Morning Spike." She says in a slightly irritated tone of voice. She hadn't so much as opened her eyes to look at him. "Er, good morning Twi." He says a bit nervous at the ominous tone of her voice. "I have one very important question for you Spike," She says, suddenly dropping every book she had been holding in the air and turning towards him, an intense expression on her face. "A question that could very well change our relationship for the rest of time as we know it!" She says, growing louder as she quickly stomps up to him until they were face to face. 'Crap! Does she know?! How?! What do I say?!' Spike thinks, his panic levels rapidly rising. "L-look Twi I—" "Spike!" Twilight shouts, making him jump back a foot. "Can. You. Make. Cinnamon Rolls?!" She demands, grabbing him by his collar. "......" "...what?" Spike says, now very confused. "I am having a huge unexplainable craving for cinnamon since this morning and I need some, right now!" "Oh! Um, yea I can do that, no problem." At this revelation, Twilight looked like he had just told her the most amazing news she would ever hear. "Yes! Thank you, Spike!" She lunges forward hugging him tightly, her breasts pressing up against him. "Umm uh yea," He says, carefully returning the embrace. "Alright, you let me know when they are finished, I'm absolutely starved!" She says, going back to organizing her books enthusiastically. 'I swear Twilight, one of these days your gonna give me an actual heart attack.' Spike sighs and heads downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast.
