I've been on and off with this story. I meant to release this in November of last year but took a hiatus from Steele n Friends because of real life. There, she saw her escort hold up a sign that said her name. \"Are you Rita Azhir?\" the gray and white wolf asked. \n\n\"Of course I am. I got transferred from New York to here, so we'll see how I can handle the snow,\" the Hykorian Hound (Saluki) tells him as he chuckles and escorts her to the Taxi. They exit the Airport and walk towards the yellow Taxi car. She places her bags in the trunk before getting inside the car. The Wolf enters the driver's side and begins turning on the vehicle. They buckled their seatbelts, and the driver backed his car out of the parking spot and exited the parking lot. \n\nA few minutes passed, but they arrived at the apartment complex. Rita walks over to her new home at Apartment #109. She unlocks the door with her key and opens it. She enters the dimly lit apartment with one bathroom to her right side and the kitchen and living room area toward her left. Her home is said to have two rooms. One will be her storage room that faces the right side of the living room, and the other will be a storage room. The room that faces the left side next to the kitchen contains her bedroom. She enters the room to see that it is a twelve-by-twelve room, with both the bathroom and closet on the left and a patio on the right side of the room. \n\nShe has a good view of the Seed of Yggdrasil and Omigard Plaza. \"This looks better than New York City or the outskirts of it, I suppose,\" Rita says to herself as she takes a long, deep breath of the cold air. The Saluki isn't too fond of the cold, but a job is a job, so she would've been transferred either way. \n\nAn hour passed, and Rita made her way to the grocery store to get some groceries. She was in the frozen food section when she felt a bump from a taller caninoid. \"Sorry there,\" said the canine. Rita twists her head and sees a tall white fur shepherd with brown eyes. He wore a black Field Jacket and blue jeans. \n\n\"You're okay,\" Rita tells him as they part ways. After paying for her groceries, she enters the E-ber vehicle. With her groceries, the driver takes her home. She thanks the driver as she grabs her groceries and walks towards the stairs when she sees a vehicle pull up. Out from the car comes the White fur shepherd in his jacket. \"Hey, you're that girl I accidentally bumped into.\" He speaks softly with a friendly tone.\n\n\"Oh yeah, I suppose you live here too, huh?\"\n\n\"Yeah, I do. Been here since 3034, was sent here by the Knight Sentinels to establish a sanctum with a few others. What about you?\" He asks her when Rita said she was transferred from New York to Omigard.\n\n\"New York? I thought Cynoeas were meant to be kept from the public eye?\" \n\n\"I was kept from the public eye. I'm a Global Paranormal Agent and the first nonhuman agent. I've been traveling for a long time from a railroad town in Georgia to New York, even my home in Hykoria, and now here.\"\n\nRita says to him as they both walk up the stairs and make it to their respective apartments. \"Well, I got some things to sort out first, but it was nice to talk uhh...\"\n\n\"Bolt Carson\" \n\n\"Rita Azhir\" Both greeted one another before entering their homes for the night. Rita ate a turkey sandwich while her bags of belongings sat near the counter. Her TV sat on the wall in her bedroom. \n\nWhile she was eating, she thought hard about her time in New York when she worked as a guard for the train station. About how she used to patrol the trainyard by night. She remembers walking on the New York ground, the sound of crunch from each step of the Heeled Boots she wore. \n\nShe also remembers her old crew. Before becoming an agent, she was a gang member for a group known as the Company, but they are gone now. She joined the Agency after being left for dead in New York City. \n\nHer face is saddened by these memories. She'd miss her old crew, but she also scorned her Ex-girlfriend, who sold her and her crew out to a pair of Dobermen henchmen. She took a long deep breath and sighed, then she took a bite out of her sandwich. After she finishes eating her dinner, She walks next door and rings the doorbell. \n\nThe door opens to Bolt in his jeans and jacket as he asks if she's ok. \"Yeah, I'm fine but can I get your help with something really fast and do you have a drill?\" \n\n\"Of course, give me a moment,\" Bolt says as he goes to his storage room to grab his power drill. He would return to Rita and follow her to her home. \"You don't have too much huh?\"\n\n\"Right.\" \n\nBolt drills down the railing for Rita's TV and offers her a blanket or a mattress. \"I'm ok Bolt, I don't need anything. I got a sleeping bag to use for now.\" \n\n\"Ok Miss Azhir, I'm not pushing any buttons towards you. Just that I want to help new neighbors is all.\" Bolt clarifies to her as Rita nods. He fixes her TV and asks if she wants to use his wi-fi. She said no and opted to use her router instead. Bolt carries on and gives her a good night. She thanked him as he left for his apartment. \n\nChapter 2\nThe next day, Rita gets ready for her first day as a real detective. Putting on her uniform and grabbed her belongings and walked out the door to see Bolt walk out of his. By the way, he'd dressed, Rita knew he worked for the Knight Sentinels but kept quiet about it. \"Morning Miss Azhir,\" Bolt said to her. \"Morning Bolt.\"\n\n\"You're a detective, I can give you a ride to the police department if you want?\" \n\n\"Or I can.\" said a voice of a female. Rita turns to see a young purple and white fur, Issgord Husky in her police uniform. \"Everest Thoricdottir of Issgord. You're the one the commissioner spoke of?\"\n\n\"I guess, I'm Rita Azhir of Hykoria.\" Rita greets herself to the girl before remarking on her age by saying \"Aren't you too young to be a cop?\"\n\n\"I'm in my late twenties. I also served in the GNU during the second diphtheria outbreak. Listen, I know we just met. If you need a ride, I'm going up there.\" \n\nRita faces Bolt and says that she'll be riding with Everest. Bolt nods and enters his car as Rita enters the passenger side of Everest's vehicle. \"Oh Miss, I have another guy coming to ride with us if you don't mind?\"\n\n\"No, no it's fine. Do you mind turning on the Heat, I'm not used to the intense Cold.\" Rita asks her politely when Everest replies \"Well you might have to get used to it at some point. I know an Afghan hound who lives in the suburbs that said the same thing but she got used to it despite you both coming from warmer parts of the world.\" \n\n\"Yeah, I lived in New York but that place only gets cold in the winter not all every season.\" \n\nOut of the corner of her eye, Rita turns to face a brown and tan-furred German shepherd who is also wearing his police uniform. He enters the back seat and says, \"Who's the Saluki?\" \n\n\"Chase Rydersson this is Rita Azhir the G.P.I.A Agent and Rita this is Chase Rydersson of Toronto, Canada.\" Everest greets the two to one another as she backs out from parking and drives out from the apartment complex. By six-forty am, they'd arrive at the Omigard police department. Rita gets finished with the commissioner and set up in her office. \"My life as a Pinkerton is over and a new life as a detective begins.\" She says to herself with glee when she sets up her desk. She places her degree on the left side and a photo of her family, including her parents and Younger sister Samira at a park. \n\nRita fidgets with her revolver and Hykorian sword known as Flaming Lash when Chase comes in with some folders. \"Big boss wanted me to give this to you, It's your documents in regards to the Omigard Police Force as well as some documents to sign.\"\n\n\"Right, I'll take a look at it in a little if you don't mind?\"\n\n\"No, not at all Ms.Azhir, Take some time before you leave today,\" Chase tells her as Rita nods and tells him thanks. Chase leaves her alone and silently walks off. Rita goes over the files and forms he'd left for her and signs them. After all of that, Rita goes to give her papers to the secretary before returning to her office to wait for anything at this point. \n\nDuring the day as the sun shines and the cold wind blows, Rita is waiting for her coffee at the Stardrive coffee shop when she sees Bolt come in, At first he doesn't realize her being there as he orders his pumpkin spice coffee. \"He likes the same coffee as me.\" She thought to herself as she saw him pay for his beverage and leave the building. She too leaves the shop and heads back to work to finish her orientation. \n\nAt seven pm, Dark gray clouds cover the starry night sky with street lights glowing orange and small bits of snow falling from the dark gray sky. Rita gets out of Everest's vehicle, gets her suitcase, and walks with the girl until they've reached the door to her apartment. Rita tells Everest good night before walking up the stone stairs and towards her apartment when he sees Bolt opening the door to his home. She didn't say anything to him and just unlocked the door to her home and entered for the night. \n\nThe next morning Rita got ready for work and gathered her belongings before walking out the door. She checks her phone to check on the weather to see it's twenty-seven degrees outside. \"Damn.\" She shutters as the cold air breeze through her body. \n\nShe walks downstairs to see Bolt entering his vehicle. He sees her and waves. She waved back at him and waited for Everest to come down. Bolt got out of his car and asked her if she wanted a lift. She answered that she would ride with Everest the Issgord Husky met up with them. \n\n\"Mornin Eves.\" Bolt greets Everest. \"Morning Bolt, We're just waiting for your boy toy Bolt and we'll be on our way. Say Bolt, I got my army ready for Saturday, I'm ready to kick your ass.\" \n\n\"You say that Eves but you always end up losing the game. But ok, How many points?\" \n\n\"About two thousand points, well more like nineteen-seventy-seven.\" Everest tells Bolt as Rita asks \"What game are you talking about?\" \n\n\"Dawn of War 10th edition, I play the Astral Wolves and Bolt here plays with ancient-looking guardmen.\" Everest says as Bolt would retort \"Had them since the nineties.\" \n\nRita began to shiver from the cold and asked Everest if she could turn the car on and turn the heater on as Everest gave her the keys. As Rita goes to turn the car on, Chase comes downstairs and tells Bolt good morning. \"Morning stud,\" Bolt says as he tells him that he'll see him later. \n\nLater on during the day, Rita gets her first assignment and that's to investigate a break-in at Zeus's Palace of Burgers. By eleven am, She arrives at the restaurant to see other cops closing the area off. She gets out of Everest's vehicle and investigates the scene. She meets up with a Doberman Employee who turns out to be the manager. She questions him about the robbery and collects samples of the crime including broken glass and small fragments of mud prints on the hard tile floor. \n\nAfter a while, she would go to the manager's office to view security footage. As far as she could tell, the break-in took place at four am in the morning as two armed suspects were cynoeas wearing unidentifiable clothing including mask. They're armed with firearms. A m1911 and an X-15A1 Assault Rifle respectively. \"X-15A1 huh, Dominian made firearms?\" Rita spoke under her breath as she viewed them from the various other cameras. The one with the Dominian made Rifle shot at the office's door to enter. Rita looks back at the open door to see the brass handle destroyed. She turns towards the computer's monitor screen to examine the footage some more when she gets a call from the walkie-talk she had on her person. It was from Kaltag as he reported a shoot-out at the run-down gas station near the city entrance. \n\nMoments later Rita arrives at the gas station to see several Omigard cops taking cover behind their cop cars. Rita finds Kaltag who reports of two armed suspects within the gas station with the money they've stolen from Zeus's Palace of Burgers. \n\nRita pulls out her revolver and tells him that she'll go around the back. \n\n\"Yeah, but I have someone who's already doing that.\" \n\nGunshots echo as bullets fly out from the ruined window. Rita regardless makes a run toward the back of the building and breaks down the old door. She runs towards the store's main lobby and yells \"FREEZE!\". \n\nThese suspect turn their heads and face her and without hesitation the robber with the black furnished X-15A1 who is revealed to be a husky fires his weapons at her. \"Shit!\" Rita yips as she rushes towards cover with her revolver in her right hand. She leans over toward her right side to get a clear shot only for her to get shot in the upper torso. \n\nShe groans in pain from the gunshot as she holds her torso. The wolf takes one more shot before getting shot himself. \"Shit!\" The husky shouts as he sees the killer of his accomplice only for them to be killed themselves. Rita closes her eyes before she sees them and hours later she wakes up in a hospital room. The white room contains the medical bed she laid in along with a nightstand with some flowers in a glass vase and lastly, a twenty-four-inch flat screen TV that wasn't on. \n\n\"Damn it.\" Rita curses in pain as a doctor comes in to check on her and tells her that she's lucky to not walk the rainbow bridge. \"It just wasn't my time yet. But how did I get here?\" The saluki asks him as Bolt in his knight sentinel armor walks in. \n\n\"I'm glad to see you well too, anyways the suspects were identified as thugs who worked for a duo calling themselves the Shikes brothers.\"\n\n\"Shike br...oh no.\" it didn't take long for Rita to realize who Bolt was referring to. \"Say Doctor, I appreciate your help patching me up.\" \n\n\"No worries Miss Azhir, The bullet didn't hit anything major, and while you were out we performed surgery on you to remove the bullet. We plan on keeping you here for a day before release.\" \n\n\"Sounds good to me,\" Rita tells the Saint Bernard as he tells her that he'll check on her in a little before leaving the room. \"And thank you Bolt for bringing me here.\" \n\n\"No problem Rita, I couldn't let a new neighbor die but getting back to everything else, We haven't identified the Shike brothers or if they are even here in Omigard but we now know why these robbers stole money. Most likely a money laundering scheme.\"\n\n\"Well, that and I had a history with them, not with the suspect but with the brothers. I knew them and their names are Rosco and De'soto. They'd work with a client named Shikes who worked as an accountant for the Lilly's Crusader cult. They do whatever Shikes tells them and by extension whatever their mess-up god demands.\" \n\nBolt remembers the cult and fought them at Mazkagale. \"I know the cult, They lead an attack at the school that I used to work at in Mazkagale, Thule. Even as a security, I killed their warlord Arkin the Neverchosen and that's how I joined the knight sentinels and moved here. I've served since then.\"\n\n\"Say I heard of that story back in twenty-twenty-six along with the second diphtheria outbreak and it was you who killed that Thulian Norsemen huh?\" \n\nBolt nods as he tells her, saying that his daughter would've been five years old at the time. \"And what's her name?\" Rita asks him as Bolt replies \"Amanda Carson, Named after my Wife also named Amanda.\" \n\nBolt pulls out his phone to open the photo app and shows Rita the picture of Little Amanda with her current husband Derick at Odingard, Thule. \"She's pretty and she looks like...\" \n\n\"Her mother,\" Bolt says as his voice becomes saddened, Rita takes notice of this and asks him \"If you don't mind me asking, Where is she?\" \n\n\"In the adobes of Asgard, She died many years ago when Little Amanda was in Kindergarten. She'd died in a car accident on her way to work at an art studio not far from the elementary school. I'd miss her since then.\"\n\nRita frowns with sadness and gives her condolence to him, He thanks her when the door opens to reveal Everest in her police uniform as she says \"I heard from Kaltag about what happened out there today and I wanted to check on you, Rita.\" \n\n\"I'm ok, thank you but damn the first time on the job and I get shot. But I've been hit with worse.\" They chuckle as Everest offers her any help. Rita asks where she can find a good bed for some sleep. Everest suggests that she can get a bed for her.\n\nRita thanked her before asking Bolt if he could do some favors for her. \"Yeah sure like what?\" \n\n\"Do you have a spare dresser?\" \n\nChapter 3\nAs Rita rested at the Bi-cell Memorial Hospital, Bolt and Chase moved his spare maple-furnished dresser over to Rita's while Everest and Marshall moved pieces for a bed frame they brought from a Fresh-fast furniture store and lastly Kaltag brought the mattress up to Rita's home. \n\nAfter Bolt and Chase moved the Dresser to the dank and near-empty master bedroom, Bolt would begin work on her bed frame as Kaltag and Chase talked. Everest hung out in the living room with her friend as she opted to move some of Rita's boxes to her spare room. As she does she she uncovers some of Rita's old picture frames including one wooden frame picture with the photo of Rita herself with some other canines including an Aztlán chihuahua, A (French) Bloncan Bulldog, a gray fur Nasic Mastiff (Great Dane) and lastly a Pheryllt (Jack Russel), all at a port with the statue of Liberty in the background on a sunny day. \n\nEverest picked up another photo of a Nemedian Poodle with blue and white fur, who wore a pink dress. She had a sly smile and looked very wealthy, almost too wealthy but what caught her off guard was the lettering written with red ink saying \"Bitch\" on it. \n\n\"Eves.\" Kaltag's voice calls out to her as she places the picture frames back in the cardboard box and exits the room. She sees Kaltag walking out the door saying that he got to go pick up Sylvie from work. \"Alrighty, see you on Saturday,\" Everest says as she, Chase, and Marshall remain at Rita's. \n\nLater that night, Everest, Marshall, and Bolt left her house and went to their respective homes. \"Say, Marshall, isn't Axefang girl supposed to be here?\" \n\n\"She's sick, I think,\" Marshall replies as they walk to their home for the night. Come the next day on Saturday. Everest gets a phone call from Rita telling her that she's ready to be picked up. The Issgord husky gets out of her bed and replies to Rita that she'll be there in an hour before taking a shower. After a few minutes, Everest dries off and checks the weather on her phone to see it's thirdy-three degrees outside with snow. She puts on her long-sleeved shirt with a pair of blue jeans pants and wool long socks. \n\nShe would put her Issgordic snow boots and a thick snow jacket on before leaving her home and walking on the icy-covered floor. \"Shit, this is going to be tough,\" Everest says as she walks the snow-covered ground towards her car. She backs out of the driveway and slowly drives out of the apartment complex. It took her minutes to arrive but she would pick Rita up. The shivering Saluki enters the passenger seat. She turns on the heater as Everest says \"Good morning, feeling better?\" \n\n\"Yeah, even though I'm still somewhat hurting, I'm ok and hungry,\" Rita says as Everest suggests that they stop at her house for breakfast. Rita agrees and when they arrive at her home, Everest starts cooking some egg tacos while Rita sits on a high chair at the counter. Putting her phone on a charger and chatting with Everest. \"Say, Everest, are you and Marshall dating?\" \n\n\"Yep and have been for a while. What about you?\" Everest retorts as Rita goes silent for a bit before saying \"I wouldn't want to talk about it but my ex-girlfriend and I aren't together anymore.\" \n\n\"Is it that white and blue fur poodle?\" Everest questions her. \"You looked through my photo?\" Rita said as Everest admitted to her that she did. \"Her name's Georgette Von Dannithor. She's Wealthy and lived a luxurious life and yet she'd sold me and my old friends out to the Shike brothers. I never forgave her for her betrayal then I found out she is an Axefang canine. Oohh that fucking stanky ass bitch.\" \n\n\"No offense but you shouldn't ever have dated her. Axefang canines bring trouble, There's one that lives next door named Gasket.\" Everest warns her as Rita would say more about Georgette. \"She's one of the many reasons why I left New York and came here other than living in hiding from the public can be annoying. She's the reason why I'm the last of the company. We're street watchers me and my \"company\".\" \n\nRita would begin telling Everest the history of her time in New York. Her crew kept order in the streets of New York from paranormal threats. Her friend the Pheryllt Terrier is named Jack \"Dodger\" Dawkins and the Aztlán chihuahua is named Tito. Georgette betrayed her and her crew to get back at her allegedly cheating on her. \n\n\"In short, they were shot and killed while Georgette and the Shike brothers got away scot-free due to them being aligned with the Lilly Crusader cult. Georgette went back to Axefang while the Dobermen pair weren't seen again.\" Rita said with sadness in her voice. Everest felt sorry for her and asked if she still held a lesbian lifestyle. \"I thought I was but I don't know. While I don't regret sleeping with women, I haven't had the best track record when it comes to dating other lesbians.\"\n\n\"I know a girl who's a lesbian, maybe I can hook you up with her.\"\n\n\"Nah, I'm not looking for anyone at the moment. I want to settle down and hopefully, I'm not found by the Shike brothers.\"\n\n\"If they come, give me a call and I'll send them to Helheim. I'm not scared of two dimwitted thugs. What town was it?\" Bolt asks Rita before taking a bite of his breakfast. \n\n\"It was a town between Chattanooga and Atlanta known as Kovensten. It's an old town that dates back to the early nineteenth century. They walk over to the police vehicle, and Jacob plugs the flash drive into the computer. The video starts with two unidentifiable figures standing outside of her home, their faces concealed. They kicked down her door with full force and entered her home; two minutes passed by, and they exited her home with nothing of value. \n\nBy the look of their tails, they were not only canines but also Dawns Passing Dobermen. Rita knew who they were, but feeling like she didn't want to jump to conclusions, she asked if they could bring them justice. Jacob says that they'll do as much as they can to catch the suspects and put them behind bars. Still angry by all of this but still keeping composed, Rita thanked him for his job. \n\n\"Everest mentioned that you had a run-in with two Dobermans a long time ago. You don't think they can be stalking you, perhaps wanting to capture you.\" Jacob asked her as Rita told him that it was possible. Jacob would ask for Bolt to keep her safe at least until this whole situation is resolved. Bolt told him sure as Jacob ask for Rita to sign a fourm. She gives her signature and goes to her home. While Bolt talks to Jacob, Rita sees that her door has been repaired, but the kick marks from the intruder still pervade. \n\nBy the look of the boot, She recognized the boot as belonging to the Shike brothers. \"I got you now assholes.\" She whispered to herself. He messages Jacob about the boot mark, and in return, the human replies that he had taken photos of the mark and sent them to the forensic team at the Omigard Police Department. \n\nThey both entered the apartment, but to her surprise, nothing had been stolen or damaged. They check for any potential hiding spots that they could use for future break-ins. Bolt tells her that he has to go to his apartment. She nods and tells him that she'll let him know if she needs anything. Bolt leaves her home as Rita goes to lock her door. She walks towards her room to pull out her firearm and her sword in case the Shike brothers return. \n\nChapter 5\nBolt goes out shopping for groceries at Osir's supermarket. He was at the frozen food isle when he heard cattering from the other side of the frozen food isle. He goes to the other side, where he sees a pair of Dobermans in similar clothing to the figures from the video footage. \n\nBolt sent Everest a message telling her to be prepared as he shouts \"Freeze!\" to the Dobermen. The pair began to run as Bolt gave chase. They push through the civilians trying to escape from Bolt, with only one of them being tackled by Everest. She held on to him as long as she could, only for the other Dobermen to escape. \n\nBolt held him down as cops managed to enter the lobby and arrest the Dobermen while the other one was caught trying to escape in their vehicle. Both of them would be taken into police custody. The next day, Everest would go in to interrogate the one of them who has been identified as Rosco. His hands are bound by handcuffs as he sat there looking at the Issgord husky. \n\n\"Rosco of Dawn's Passing, do you understand why you are here today?\" \n\n\"Yeah Issgord, and to keep this under an hour, Yeah we hire some of those chums to rob that restraunt for us and yes we broke into Rita's home in search for her.\" \n\nEverest took a long deep breath and went over her files on the Shike brothers before saying, \"What do you want with Rita?\" \n\n\"It isn't us who want her, It's Georgette Von Dannithor who wants her and wants she wants with her well neither Me nor De'soto know. Probably to cut some loose ends with her. But what do you know? You don't know Rita as much as you think you do. She, along with others from the Company, all have skeletons in their closet.\"\n\nEverest looks at him in the eye steetly and replies, \"And you don't know anything about me either. If I was given the option to do so, I could decapitate you and your brother for even being aligned with Axefang, but I can't. So you and De'soto will rot in prison. Of course, I can't sentence you, I'm only a cop. You'll set you and your brother a court date, and I'll leave it up to the Judge to deal with you.\" \n\nEverest goes outside with speak with Chase about a court date, the Nasic Shepherd says that he finished interviewing the other brother, and they spoke about Georgette. \n\n\"A Von Dannithor no less a Axefang Scum. I'll send their info into the system and give them a court date, for now, they'll be spending their time here in jail. \n\nBack at the apartment, Rita smiles with joy at the news that the Shike brothers have been brought to jail and thanks Bolt for arresting them. \"I don't want to take all the credit, I also had Everest aiding me. The employees called the police, and well, we are up to date.\"\n\n\"Well all that matter is that their asses are put in their place and hopefully this will be closer,\" Rita spoke with much optism when Bolt says \"Well according to Everest, They're sent her by Georgette herself, looking for you.\" \n\nRita eyes rolled at the sounds of that news as to her it wasn't a surprise. \"Probably wanting to use me again or something like that. She got off the plane with her bags in her hands. She proceeded through the station's lobby and found the airport entrance. There, she saw her escort hold up a sign that said her name. "Are you Rita Azhir?" the gray and white wolf asked.

"Of course I am. I got transferred from New York to here, so we'll see how I can handle the snow," the Hykorian Hound (Saluki) tells him as he chuckles and escorts her to the Taxi. They exit the Airport and walk towards the yellow Taxi car. She places her bags in the trunk before getting inside the car. The Wolf enters the driver's side and begins turning on the vehicle. They buckled their seatbelts, and the driver backed his car out of the parking spot and exited the parking lot.

A few minutes passed, but they arrived at the apartment complex. Rita walks over to her new home at Apartment #109. She unlocks the door with her key and opens it. She enters the dimly lit apartment with one bathroom to her right side and the kitchen and living room area toward her left. Her home is said to have two rooms. One will be her storage room that faces the right side of the living room, and the other will be a storage room. The room that faces the left side next to the kitchen contains her bedroom. She enters the room to see that it is a twelve-by-twelve room, with both the bathroom and closet on the left and a patio on the right side of the room.

She has a good view of the Seed of Yggdrasil and Omigard Plaza. "This looks better than New York City or the outskirts of it, I suppose," Rita says to herself as she takes a long, deep breath of the cold air. The Saluki isn't too fond of the cold, but a job is a job, so she would've been transferred either way.

An hour passed, and Rita made her way to the grocery store to get some groceries. She was in the frozen food section when she felt a bump from a taller caninoid. "Sorry there," said the canine. Rita twists her head and sees a tall white fur shepherd with brown eyes. He wore a black Field Jacket and blue jeans.

"You're okay," Rita tells him as they part ways. After paying for her groceries, she enters the E-ber vehicle. With her groceries, the driver takes her home. She thanks the driver as she grabs her groceries and walks towards the stairs when she sees a vehicle pull up. Out from the car comes the White fur shepherd in his jacket. "Hey, you're that girl I accidentally bumped into." He speaks softly with a friendly tone.

"Oh yeah, I suppose you live here too, huh?"

"Yeah, I do. Been here since 3034, was sent here by the Knight Sentinels to establish a sanctum with a few others. What about you?" He asks her when Rita said she was transferred from New York to Omigard.

"New York? I thought Cynoeas were meant to be kept from the public eye?"

"I was kept from the public eye. I'm a Global Paranormal Agent and the first nonhuman agent. I've been traveling for a long time from a railroad town in Georgia to New York, even my home in Hykoria, and now here."

Rita says to him as they both walk up the stairs and make it to their respective apartments. "Well, I got some things to sort out first, but it was nice to talk uhh..."

"Bolt Carson"

"Rita Azhir" Both greeted one another before entering their homes for the night. Rita ate a turkey sandwich while her bags of belongings sat near the counter. Her TV sat on the wall in her bedroom.

While she was eating, she thought hard about her time in New York when she worked as a guard for the train station. About how she used to patrol the trainyard by night. She remembers walking on the New York ground, the sound of crunch from each step of the Heeled Boots she wore.

She also remembers her old crew. Before becoming an agent, she was a gang member for a group known as the Company, but they are gone now. She joined the Agency after being left for dead in New York City.

Her face is saddened by these memories. She'd miss her old crew, but she also scorned her Ex-girlfriend, who sold her and her crew out to a pair of Dobermen henchmen. She took a long deep breath and sighed, then she took a bite out of her sandwich. After she finishes eating her dinner, She walks next door and rings the doorbell.

The door opens to Bolt in his jeans and jacket as he asks if she's ok. "Yeah, I'm fine but can I get your help with something really fast and do you have a drill?"

"Of course, give me a moment," Bolt says as he goes to his storage room to grab his power drill. He would return to Rita and follow her to her home. "You don't have too much huh?"

"Right."

Bolt drills down the railing for Rita's TV and offers her a blanket or a mattress. "I'm ok Bolt, I don't need anything. I got a sleeping bag to use for now."

"Ok Miss Azhir, I'm not pushing any buttons towards you. Just that I want to help new neighbors is all." Bolt clarifies to her as Rita nods. He fixes her TV and asks if she wants to use his wi-fi. She said no and opted to use her router instead. Bolt carries on and gives her a good night. She thanked him as he left for his apartment.

Chapter 2
The next day, Rita gets ready for her first day as a real detective. Putting on her uniform and grabbed her belongings and walked out the door to see Bolt walk out of his. By the way, he'd dressed, Rita knew he worked for the Knight Sentinels but kept quiet about it. "Morning Miss Azhir," Bolt said to her. "Morning Bolt."

"You're a detective, I can give you a ride to the police department if you want?"

"Or I can." said a voice of a female. Rita turns to see a young purple and white fur, Issgord Husky in her police uniform. "Everest Thoricdottir of Issgord. You're the one the commissioner spoke of?"

"I guess, I'm Rita Azhir of Hykoria." Rita greets herself to the girl before remarking on her age by saying "Aren't you too young to be a cop?"

"I'm in my late twenties. I also served in the GNU during the second diphtheria outbreak. Listen, I know we just met. If you need a ride, I'm going up there."

Rita faces Bolt and says that she'll be riding with Everest. Bolt nods and enters his car as Rita enters the passenger side of Everest's vehicle. "Oh Miss, I have another guy coming to ride with us if you don't mind?"

"No, no it's fine. Do you mind turning on the Heat, I'm not used to the intense Cold." Rita asks her politely when Everest replies "Well you might have to get used to it at some point. I know an Afghan hound who lives in the suburbs that said the same thing but she got used to it despite you both coming from warmer parts of the world."

"Yeah, I lived in New York but that place only gets cold in the winter not all every season."

Out of the corner of her eye, Rita turns to face a brown and tan-furred German shepherd who is also wearing his police uniform. He enters the back seat and says, "Who's the Saluki?"

"Chase Rydersson this is Rita Azhir the G.P.I.A Agent and Rita this is Chase Rydersson of Toronto, Canada." Everest greets the two to one another as she backs out from parking and drives out from the apartment complex. By six-forty am, they'd arrive at the Omigard police department. Rita gets finished with the commissioner and set up in her office. "My life as a Pinkerton is over and a new life as a detective begins." She says to herself with glee when she sets up her desk. She places her degree on the left side and a photo of her family, including her parents and Younger sister Samira at a park.

Rita fidgets with her revolver and Hykorian sword known as Flaming Lash when Chase comes in with some folders. "Big boss wanted me to give this to you, It's your documents in regards to the Omigard Police Force as well as some documents to sign."

"Right, I'll take a look at it in a little if you don't mind?"

"No, not at all Ms.Azhir, Take some time before you leave today," Chase tells her as Rita nods and tells him thanks. Chase leaves her alone and silently walks off. Rita goes over the files and forms he'd left for her and signs them. After all of that, Rita goes to give her papers to the secretary before returning to her office to wait for anything at this point.

During the day as the sun shines and the cold wind blows, Rita is waiting for her coffee at the Stardrive coffee shop when she sees Bolt come in, At first he doesn't realize her being there as he orders his pumpkin spice coffee. "He likes the same coffee as me." She thought to herself as she saw him pay for his beverage and leave the building. She too leaves the shop and heads back to work to finish her orientation.

At seven pm, Dark gray clouds cover the starry night sky with street lights glowing orange and small bits of snow falling from the dark gray sky. Rita gets out of Everest's vehicle, gets her suitcase, and walks with the girl until they've reached the door to her apartment. Rita tells Everest good night before walking up the stone stairs and towards her apartment when he sees Bolt opening the door to his home. She didn't say anything to him and just unlocked the door to her home and entered for the night.

The next morning Rita got ready for work and gathered her belongings before walking out the door. She checks her phone to check on the weather to see it's twenty-seven degrees outside. "Damn." She shutters as the cold air breeze through her body.

She walks downstairs to see Bolt entering his vehicle. He sees her and waves. She waved back at him and waited for Everest to come down. Bolt got out of his car and asked her if she wanted a lift. She answered that she would ride with Everest the Issgord Husky met up with them.

"Mornin Eves." Bolt greets Everest. "Morning Bolt, We're just waiting for your boy toy Bolt and we'll be on our way. Say Bolt, I got my army ready for Saturday, I'm ready to kick your ass."

"You say that Eves but you always end up losing the game. But ok, How many points?"

"About two thousand points, well more like nineteen-seventy-seven." Everest tells Bolt as Rita asks "What game are you talking about?"

"Dawn of War 10th edition, I play the Astral Wolves and Bolt here plays with ancient-looking guardmen." Everest says as Bolt would retort "Had them since the nineties."

Rita began to shiver from the cold and asked Everest if she could turn the car on and turn the heater on as Everest gave her the keys. As Rita goes to turn the car on, Chase comes downstairs and tells Bolt good morning. "Morning stud," Bolt says as he tells him that he'll see him later.

Later on during the day, Rita gets her first assignment and that's to investigate a break-in at Zeus's Palace of Burgers. By eleven am, She arrives at the restaurant to see other cops closing the area off. She gets out of Everest's vehicle and investigates the scene. She meets up with a Doberman Employee who turns out to be the manager. She questions him about the robbery and collects samples of the crime including broken glass and small fragments of mud prints on the hard tile floor.

After a while, she would go to the manager's office to view security footage. As far as she could tell, the break-in took place at four am in the morning as two armed suspects were cynoeas wearing unidentifiable clothing including mask. They're armed with firearms. A m1911 and an X-15A1 Assault Rifle respectively.  "X-15A1 huh, Dominian made firearms?" Rita spoke under her breath as she viewed them from the various other cameras. The one with the Dominian made Rifle shot at the office's door to enter. Rita looks back at the open door to see the brass handle destroyed. She turns towards the computer's monitor screen to examine the footage some more when she gets a call from the walkie-talk she had on her person. It was from Kaltag as he reported a shoot-out at the run-down gas station near the city entrance.

Moments later Rita arrives at the gas station to see several Omigard cops taking cover behind their cop cars. Rita finds Kaltag who reports of two armed suspects within the gas station with the money they've stolen from Zeus's Palace of Burgers.

Rita pulls out her revolver and tells him that she'll go around the back.

"Yeah, but I have someone who's already doing that."

Gunshots echo as bullets fly out from the ruined window. Rita regardless makes a run toward the back of the building and breaks down the old door. She runs towards the store's main lobby and yells "FREEZE!".

These suspect turn their heads and face her and without hesitation the robber with the black furnished X-15A1 who is revealed to be a husky fires his weapons at her. "Shit!" Rita yips as she rushes towards cover with her revolver in her right hand. She leans over toward her right side to get a clear shot only for her to get shot in the upper torso.

She groans in pain from the gunshot as she holds her torso. The wolf takes one more shot before getting shot himself. "Shit!" The husky shouts as he sees the killer of his accomplice only for them to be killed themselves. Rita closes her eyes before she sees them and hours later she wakes up in a hospital room. The white room contains the medical bed she laid in along with a nightstand with some flowers in a glass vase and lastly, a twenty-four-inch flat screen TV that wasn't on.

"Damn it." Rita curses in pain as a doctor comes in to check on her and tells her that she's lucky to not walk the rainbow bridge. "It just wasn't my time yet. But how did I get here?" The saluki asks him as Bolt in his knight sentinel armor walks in.

"I'm glad to see you well too, anyways the suspects were identified as thugs who worked for a duo calling themselves the Shikes brothers."

"Shike br...oh no." it didn't take long for Rita to realize who Bolt was referring to. "Say Doctor, I appreciate your help patching me up."

"No worries Miss Azhir, The bullet didn't hit anything major, and while you were out we performed surgery on you to remove the bullet. We plan on keeping you here for a day before release."

"Sounds good to me,"  Rita tells the Saint Bernard as he tells her that he'll check on her in a little before leaving the room. "And thank you Bolt for bringing me here."

"No problem Rita, I couldn't let a new neighbor die but getting back to everything else, We haven't identified the Shike brothers or if they are even here in Omigard but we now know why these robbers stole money. Most likely a money laundering scheme."

"Well, that and I had a history with them, not with the suspect but with the brothers. I knew them and their names are Rosco and De'soto. They'd work with a client named Shikes who worked as an accountant for the Lilly's Crusader cult. They do whatever Shikes tells them and by extension whatever their mess-up god demands."

Bolt remembers the cult and fought them at Mazkagale. "I know the cult, They lead an attack at the school that I used to work at in Mazkagale, Thule. Even as a security, I killed their warlord Arkin the Neverchosen and that's how I joined the knight sentinels and moved here. I've served since then."

"Say I heard of that story back in twenty-twenty-six along with the second diphtheria outbreak and it was you who killed that Thulian Norsemen huh?"

Bolt nods as he tells her, saying that his daughter would've been five years old at the time. "And what's her name?" Rita asks him as Bolt replies "Amanda Carson, Named after my Wife also named Amanda."

Bolt pulls out his phone to open the photo app and shows Rita the picture of Little Amanda with her current husband Derick at Odingard, Thule. "She's pretty and she looks like..."

"Her mother," Bolt says as his voice becomes saddened, Rita takes notice of this and asks him "If you don't mind me asking, Where is she?"

"In the adobes of Asgard, She died many years ago when Little Amanda was in Kindergarten. She'd died in a car accident on her way to work at an art studio not far from the elementary school. I'd miss her since then."

Rita frowns with sadness and gives her condolence to him, He thanks her when the door opens to reveal Everest in her police uniform as she says "I heard from Kaltag about what happened out there today and I wanted to check on you, Rita."

"I'm ok, thank you but damn the first time on the job and I get shot. But I've been hit with worse." They chuckle as Everest offers her any help. Rita asks where she can find a good bed for some sleep. Everest suggests that she can get a bed for her.

Rita thanked her before asking Bolt if he could do some favors for her. "Yeah sure like what?"

"Do you have a spare dresser?"

Chapter 3
As Rita rested at the Bi-cell Memorial Hospital, Bolt and Chase moved his spare maple-furnished dresser over to Rita's while Everest and Marshall moved pieces for a bed frame they brought from a Fresh-fast furniture store and lastly Kaltag brought the mattress up to Rita's home.

After Bolt and Chase moved the Dresser to the dank and near-empty master bedroom, Bolt would begin work on her bed frame as Kaltag and Chase talked. Everest hung out in the living room with her friend as she opted to move some of Rita's boxes to her spare room. As she does she she uncovers some of Rita's old picture frames including one wooden frame picture with the photo of Rita herself with some other canines including an Aztlán chihuahua, A (French) Bloncan Bulldog, a gray fur Nasic Mastiff (Great Dane) and lastly a Pheryllt (Jack Russel), all at a port with the statue of Liberty in the background on a sunny day.

Everest picked up another photo of a Nemedian Poodle with blue and white fur, who wore a pink dress. She had a sly smile and looked very wealthy, almost too wealthy but what caught her off guard was the lettering written with red ink saying "Bitch" on it.

"Eves." Kaltag's voice calls out to her as she places the picture frames back in the cardboard box and exits the room. She sees Kaltag walking out the door saying that he got to go pick up Sylvie from work. "Alrighty, see you on Saturday," Everest says as she, Chase, and Marshall remain at Rita's.

Later that night, Everest, Marshall, and Bolt left her house and went to their respective homes. "Say, Marshall, isn't Axefang girl supposed to be here?"

"She's sick, I think," Marshall replies as they walk to their home for the night. Come the next day on Saturday. Everest gets a phone call from Rita telling her that she's ready to be picked up. The Issgord husky gets out of her bed and replies to Rita that she'll be there in an hour before taking a shower. After a few minutes, Everest dries off and checks the weather on her phone to see it's thirdy-three degrees outside with snow. She puts on her long-sleeved shirt with a pair of blue jeans pants and wool long socks.

She would put her Issgordic snow boots and a thick snow jacket on before leaving her home and walking on the icy-covered floor. "Shit, this is going to be tough," Everest says as she walks the snow-covered ground towards her car. She backs out of the driveway and slowly drives out of the apartment complex. It took her minutes to arrive but she would pick Rita up. The shivering Saluki enters the passenger seat. She turns on the heater as Everest says "Good morning, feeling better?"

"Yeah, even though I'm still somewhat hurting, I'm ok and hungry," Rita says as Everest suggests that they stop at her house for breakfast. Rita agrees and when they arrive at her home, Everest starts cooking some egg tacos while Rita sits on a high chair at the counter. Putting her phone on a charger and chatting with Everest. "Say, Everest, are you and Marshall dating?"

"Yep and have been for a while. What about you?" Everest retorts as Rita goes silent for a bit before saying "I wouldn't want to talk about it but my ex-girlfriend and I aren't together anymore."

"Is it that white and blue fur poodle?" Everest questions her. "You looked through my photo?" Rita said as Everest admitted to her that she did. "Her name's Georgette Von Dannithor. She's Wealthy and lived a luxurious life and yet she'd sold me and my old friends out to the Shike brothers. I never forgave her for her betrayal then I found out she is an Axefang canine. Oohh that fucking stanky ass bitch."

"No offense but you shouldn't ever have dated her. Axefang canines bring trouble, There's one that lives next door named Gasket." Everest warns her as Rita would say more about Georgette. "She's one of the many reasons why I left New York and came here other than living in hiding from the public can be annoying. She's the reason why I'm the last of the company. We're street watchers me and my "company"."

Rita would begin telling Everest the history of her time in New York. Her crew kept order in the streets of New York from paranormal threats. Her friend the Pheryllt Terrier is named Jack "Dodger" Dawkins and the Aztlán chihuahua is named Tito. Georgette betrayed her and her crew to get back at her allegedly cheating on her.

"In short, they were shot and killed while Georgette and the Shike brothers got away scot-free due to them being aligned with the Lilly Crusader cult. Georgette went back to Axefang while the Dobermen pair weren't seen again." Rita said with sadness in her voice. Everest felt sorry for her and asked if she still held a lesbian lifestyle. "I thought I was but I don't know. While I don't regret sleeping with women, I haven't had the best track record when it comes to dating other lesbians."

"I know a girl who's a lesbian, maybe I can hook you up with her."

"Nah, I'm not looking for anyone at the moment. I want to settle down and hopefully, I'm not found by the Shike brothers."

"If they come, give me a call and I'll send them to Helheim. I'm not scared of two dimwitted thugs. I fought against Dominian and ancient monsters all of my life." Everest boasts as Rita's frown turns to a smile. "Oh yeah, One of those Ningens?"

"That, these formless aliens called Shoggoths and a wyvern that killed my father," Everest tells her as she speaks of Gerlintr and her fight against that old wyvern beast. "Now, Well come on down to Hykoria and fight a death worm then since you're hot shit and all."

"I would die in Hykoria. Not built for that environment."

"Like how I'm not built for Omigard eh." Both girls laugh as Marshall exits the bathroom in his firefighter uniform. "Oh no, you got work?"

"Yep and won't be back until twenty-four hours later. Hey Rita." Marshall greets Rita and waves at him. Marshall exits the door as Bolt enters and greets them with a good morning. "How are you feeling Rita?"

"I'm still feeling the pain from the right side of my torso but I'm all good," Rita says as she gets a message on her phone from Samira Azhir.

"Hey Big Sis, How's your first day as a full detected?"

Rita replies "It's been decent, But I'm good."

A moment later Everest hands Rita a plate of two egg tacos. Everest begins to eat her own Egg tacos. "Is it the big Boss?" Everest asks Rita when the saluki replies "Nah, my little sis, Samira."

"Oh really, Where is she?"

"Working over at Hykoria, She's a Desert Ranger. She helps people who are lost in the vast Hykorian or Fertile Crescent as it is known to humans." Rita tells Everest about her sister as the doorbell rings. "I got it," Rita says as she goes over to the door and opens it to see Bolt with a Jucoci Box. "Say, How are you holding up?"

"I'm still hurting from the gunshot but I'm ok. I'm just having breakfast with Everest is all." Bolt enters and walks towards the Living room, He glares at the Issgord Husky and tells her Good morning. "Morning Bolt, You know it's only eight thirdy am right?"

"And I went ahead to pack up because Steele and Dix are joining us at the Games of the Arena at Twelve." Bolt mentioning Steele caught the Saluki's attention and asked "Steele? As in the fallen hero of Nome?"

"Yeah, but Mr.Seppala isn't too much better either. Not long ago he faced a scandal apparently he and his wife were fucking with a pair of engineers at his job and got fired by Elon Musk's grandson."

"Oh wow." Rita murmurs as Everest states "Play stupid games, Win stupid prizes."

"Well Ya'll go do that and I'll rest at home and wait for ya'll to be back from your little event," Rita says as Bolt and Everest nod in agreement.

A few hours passed as Rita lay on her new bed in her bedroom watching the reboot of "Orange is the New Black" when she got a message from Samira once more.

"Ralph and Airik wanted to tell you good luck at your new job before they go to bed for kindergarten tomorrow."

 Rita Smiles and replies with "Well Tell them that I said good night. Right now I got to stay under the covers or my tail will freeze off."

She would send them a message when she got a message from an unknown message saying "We know."

She rightfully raised her right eyebrow and replied "Who is this?" She waited for a reply when her ears perked up at the sound of knocking on her door. The sounds of light knocking echo as she gets up from her bed and slowly walks over to the door to take a peak from the peak hole to see her friends Everest, Bolt, and even Chase standing out there.

She opens the door and allows them to enter her home. "Alright, Say Rita, how are you feeling?" Bolt asks her as she states that she is doing ok and mentions that she got a message from an unknown number. She shows him her phone and the message.

"What is it if I may ask?" Chase asks as Everest comes over to take a look to see this message on her phone. "Weird, do you have a clue about the identity of this individual?" Bolt inquires a question as Rita says that she just barely got the message.  

"Say if I can ask Rita, Could it be those two dobermen Shike brothers that we talked about?"

"If it is them then I need to prepare myself against them."

Rita says as Bolt questions her about what she'd meant by that Rita goes silent for a bit. "I told Everest this earlier before y'all left but a long time ago I was in a lesbian relationship with this girl, Georgette Von Dannithor is her name. We often did bondage sex and even ran a BDSM dungeon back in New York but I also work as her bodyguard and in a gang."

Rita spouts her history to Chase as she goes on about her history with this gang of her she called the Company. "And one day as we're dealing with a little human orphan boy Oliver, He and this little girl got taken by Shike when it was revealed that He and his henchmen were making deals with Lilly's Crusaders cultist."

Rita explains that Georgette thought that she cheated on her and in retaliation she betrayed her and had her company killed off by the Shike Brothers Rosco and De'soto. They serve the terrible cult. Everyone she'd cared for died while she'd watched helplessly. She managed to escape their grasp and even hid in the unseen town of Sigard, Colorado.

Bolt gave his condolence as does Chase. "I'm sorry Rita for your loss." Bolt says as Rita replies with "Well don't worry about it hon. My only wish is to move on and learn from the past and if Georgette is behind this, I'll think of a way to fight back."

Chapter 4

The night was looming over the land of Omigard as Bolt and Rita sat on the couch and talked. "Say Rita, plan on going home for Thanksgiving?"

"Nope, my folks will be coming here instead. They always wanted to explore other parts of the world that aren't the scorching sands of Hykoria. Bolt hon what about you?"

Bolt tells her that His parents passed away two years ago from an illness but his brother, his family as well and his daughter would be coming. "Well, I would love to meet your daughter Bolt."

"Yeah it's been a while since I have seen her," Bolt tells her saying that she wanted to finish school in Thule while he came down here. Rita looks at him with pity as she places her left hand on his right shoulder. "Well, we got Thanksgiving to look forward to hun. If you want to come for Thanksgiving dinner you are welcome too."

"That sounds nice. I can use some company, I have been alone for a long time. Sometimes I wish that I could return to Thule to my family but I must be here in Omigard, It is an oath I swore to keep."

Bolt says as Rita replies that she and him aren't too different from one another and that she feels that she, even in her condition she must also protect Omigard. "Bolt hun, I probably will put you off by asking you this but do you mind staying here for the night as in my condition I would rather not be alone in case Rosco and De'soto ever found me."

"Yeah, I can stay here with ya as long as you need me to." Bolt tells her.

"And one more thing, If I came across as dismissive or disinterested in you for the past couple of days, I want to apologize for all that. I haven't been in the best of moods lately and I'm sorry for putting you through it all."

Bolt took a deep breath before saying that he forgives her and admits that he wasn't aware that she had issues with him. "Well, I thought I was being a bit of an ass to you since I arrived but you save me from death but denied me access to Valhöll."

"Maybe it wasn't your time yet." They would chuckle before Bolt gets up and says that he's gotta go get a few things before walking off and exiting her home. Rita turns her TV on when she gets a message from that same message saying "We're coming soon."

She shows frustration; she turns her phone off and turns the TV on, and puts on her show. The door opens as Bolt walks in with his phone charger and thick brown blanket for him to use. "What's this?" Bolt asks as he sees Rita putting on the reboot of Orange is the New Black.

"Hun, If you're staying here, you got to get used to Orange is the New Black. I admit I don't like the reboot, It isn't as good as the original."

They laugh before continuing to watch their show when they hear knocking at the front door, "At this time during the day?" Bolt murmured as he got up to check the front door to see no one there. "Huh." He whispered to himself as he closed the door and set up shop on the couch. The next morning, Rita wakes up from her sleep. She turns on her phone to see the time is seven am on the 6th of November of saturday.

She gets up and takes a shower for about fifteen minutes, followed by fixing her fluffly chocolate brown ears with a hairbrush. After applying deodorant on both arm pits, she applies blue eyeshadow on both of her eyelids. She gets dressed for the day and goes out to check on Bolt, who left his blanket on the couch and his phone charger on the counter.

Her ears pick up the sound of the doorbell ringing, followed by the door opening to reveal Bolt entering her home with some ingredients for breakfast. "Morning Rita. Say, are you hungry yet?"

A while later, Bolt cooks himself and Rita some omelettes. While they're eating, Bolt asks her about her time in New York. She swallows her piece of omelette before stating that it was nice, but it wasn't as freezing as Omigard or as Hot as Dundlind, Hykoria.

"You said that you've gone down to Georgia before. What town was it?" Bolt asks Rita before taking a bite of his breakfast.

"It was a town between Chattanooga and Atlanta known as Kovensten. It's an old town that dates back to the early nineteenth century. I met a wounderful couple there for a short time, The bitch was a Cocker Spaniel and her husband was a Mongrel of terrier decent and they were horny, Always talking about BDSM and that shit."

"BDSM, pfft really? Oh, Thor." Bolt spoke, but Rita replied, "But they're a kind couple. The last time I spoke to them, they both worked at the local trainyard."

"Trains, well that's something to talk about."

"Not really, Bolt. Thanks for the breakfast. I haven't had anything as great as your omelette since my mama's breakfast." Rita spoke as Bolt thank her completment. Around nine am in the morning, Bolt and Rita went on a small walk to the park when Rita got a message from on her phone from a perfume company. An advert for the newest perfume. She scrolls down her phone to see other emails when Bolt asks how long they would need to walk the path.

"No offense, but you look out of shape. It's a little bit chunky. If i wasn't recovering from the gun wound, I would challenge you to a foot race around the park."

"Yeah, I'm not as fast as you, and I go to the gym with friends. The Apartment gym." Bolt informs her as she says, "Apartment gym, good, somewhere for we...I mean me to go to."

Bolt chuckles as the Hykorian hound asks, "What?, I'm a Hykorian Hound, we need our exercise to stay in shape. There's a reason why we are known as Sighthounds and running dogs."

"Yeah, I can't argue with that, and at least it is free so long as you live in the apartment complex." The pair continues to walk the path in cold weather. Wind blows hard to where the saluki's fuzzy ears flutter. Bolt silently chuckles until she turns to face him.

His phone buzzes from the left pocket of his dark color jeans. He pulls out his phone to see that Everest has sent him a message. He opens the message and reads that Rita's home has been broken into. "Hey Rita, We gotta get back to the apartments. You're house just got broken into."

Her eyes widened with shock but not to any surprise. Minutes later, they arrive at the apartments with several canine policemen. One cop, Officer Jacob Simmons of United Kingdom origin. "Do you know who did this, officer?"

"Miss Azhir, we have no leads as to who might have done this yet. We are waiting on the landlord to release the tapes. Bolt Carson."

"Jacob of the Teutonic Order, I haven't see you in a bit; you return from Ka-Drun. huh." Bolt says to his friend when the other police officer walks over to them and gives Jacob a usb flash drive that contains the security footage. They walk over to the police vehicle, and Jacob plugs the flash drive into the computer. The video starts with two unidentifiable figures standing outside of her home, their faces concealed. They kicked down her door with full force and entered her home; two minutes passed by, and they exited her home with nothing of value.

By the look of their tails, they were not only canines but also Dawns Passing Dobermen. Rita knew who they were, but feeling like she didn't want to jump to conclusions, she asked if they could bring them justice.  Jacob says that they'll do as much as they can to catch the suspects and put them behind bars. Still angry by all of this but still keeping composed, Rita thanked him for his job.

"Everest mentioned that you had a run-in with two Dobermans a long time ago. You don't think they can be stalking you, perhaps wanting to capture you." Jacob asked her as Rita told him that it was possible. Jacob would ask for Bolt to keep her safe at least until this whole situation is resolved. Bolt told him sure as Jacob ask for Rita to sign a fourm. She gives her signature and goes to her home. While Bolt talks to Jacob, Rita sees that her door has been repaired, but the kick marks from the intruder still pervade.

By the look of the boot, She recognized the boot as belonging to the Shike brothers. "I got you now assholes." She whispered to herself. Bolt comes up to check on her. "Well, my door is fixed, and I imagine that they collected some of the dirt from the boot mark left on my door."

She shows Bolt the boot mark left on her door. He messages Jacob about the boot mark, and in return, the human replies that he had taken photos of the mark and sent them to the forensic team at the Omigard Police Department.

They both entered the apartment, but to her surprise, nothing had been stolen or damaged. They check for any potential hiding spots that they could use for future break-ins. Bolt tells her that he has to go to his apartment. She nods and tells him that she'll let him know if she needs anything. Bolt leaves her home as Rita goes to lock her door. She walks towards her room to pull out her firearm and her sword in case the Shike brothers return.

Chapter 5
Bolt goes out shopping for groceries at Osir's supermarket. He was at the frozen food isle when he heard cattering from the other side of the frozen food isle. He goes to the other side, where he sees a pair of Dobermans in similar clothing to the figures from the video footage.

Bolt sent Everest a message telling her to be prepared as he shouts "Freeze!" to the Dobermen. The pair began to run as Bolt gave chase. They push through the civilians trying to escape from Bolt, with only one of them being tackled by Everest. She held on to him as long as she could, only for the other Dobermen to escape.

Bolt held him down as cops managed to enter the lobby and arrest the Dobermen while the other one was caught trying to escape in their vehicle. Both of them would be taken into police custody. The next day, Everest would go in to interrogate the one of them who has been identified as Rosco. His hands are bound by handcuffs as he sat there looking at the Issgord husky.

"Rosco of Dawn's Passing, do you understand why you are here today?"

"Yeah Issgord, and to keep this under an hour, Yeah we hire some of those chums to rob that restraunt for us and yes we broke into Rita's home in search for her."

Everest took a long deep breath and went over her files on the Shike brothers before saying, "What do you want with Rita?"

"It isn't us who want her, It's Georgette Von Dannithor who wants her and wants she wants with her well neither Me nor De'soto know. Probably to cut some loose ends with her. But what do you know? You don't know Rita as much as you think you do. She, along with others from the Company, all have skeletons in their closet."

Everest looks at him in the eye steetly and replies, "And you don't know anything about me either. If I was given the option to do so, I could decapitate you and your brother for even being aligned with Axefang, but I can't. So you and De'soto will rot in prison. Of course, I can't sentence you, I'm only a cop. You'll set you and your brother a court date, and I'll leave it up to the Judge to deal with you."

Everest goes outside with speak with Chase about a court date, the Nasic Shepherd says that he finished interviewing the other brother, and they spoke about Georgette.

"A Von Dannithor no less a Axefang Scum. I'll send their info into the system and give them a court date, for now, they'll be spending their time here in jail.

Back at the apartment, Rita smiles with joy at the news that the Shike brothers have been brought to jail and thanks Bolt for arresting them. "I don't want to take all the credit, I also had Everest aiding me. The employees called the police, and well, we are up to date."

"Well all that matter is that their asses are put in their place and hopefully this will be closer," Rita spoke with much optism when Bolt says "Well according to Everest, They're sent her by Georgette herself, looking for you."

Rita eyes rolled at the sounds of that news as to her it wasn't a surprise. "Probably wanting to use me again or something like that. Say you aren't too busy today, are ya?"

"EEhh, Work," Bolt replied with a hint of annoyance in his voice. "What about when you get off of work, Maybe we can go out for the night or something."

"Ye...Yeah I guess we can." Bolt reply to her as the two smile at one another.

November 25th, 2038

"Knock Knock." The voice came from the opening door as a Pavement fur Hellhound/Nasic Shepherd mix and a purebred Hellhound entered Bolt's apartment.
