I don’t know what changed or why it was such a complete switch, but now I like them a lot. Other races I considered were Besalisks, Mon Calamari (using them for another one), Selkath (also using them for another one), and Selonians.\n\nI also started this drawing before realizing I didn’t actually have an idea for the clothes I wanted to give him.\nBut then I figured I would just give him the same shit I give all my other OCs. He’s basically an unofficial fursona at this point after all.\n\nDjori was taken to be trained as part of Luke Skywalker’s new Jedi Order, but he left before even becoming a Padawan, still very young, for unknown reasons ([i]because we don’t know anything about his Jedi Order in this canon yet[/i]). He went back to his wealthy family and their company on Hosnian Prime to live a normal well-to-do life. When he grew up, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a pilot, flying transports between the Core Worlds and occasionally cargo ships for his family. One regular day at work turned sour when he and his passengers watched the Hosnian system be decimated by a superweapon. One of the passengers claimed to be a Jedi named Pel who had survived the Clone Wars and the Empire, telling Djori that now the enemy of the Republic was the First Order, urging him to finish his Jedi training.
