Today, Yosh E. O'Ducky was going to learn about a still-popular online game called Among Us!

"I mean, I've already heard about it a lot before." The green dino-ducky poked his fingers together shyly, "I hear all the jokes and stuff, it's kind of unavoidable."

Behind Yosh popped up an orange dinosaur, Nishi! "I sure joke about it way too often. For like... almost a whole year! Luckily, it doesn't annoy anyone."

"Does it not?" Yosh raised an eyebrow, a little suspicious that might not be the case...

"Either way, let's go to the waiting room and get started, I told our friends!" Nishi pat his ducky buddy's backside. "Here we go!" 

Yosh felt himself phase away into white light, as he and Nishi were transported from their home, to a small gray waiting room in outer space. With a high pitched laser chirping sound, the two landed in small chairs lined along a big door, leading to the main ship they'd be playing on.

"Weird! Well, I guess we're here," the two looked up at the weird room number above them. Nishi smiled, "I'll tell our friends to meet us at this room, meanwhile, let's get changed into our space suits!"

"Oh?" Yosh was curious. The room was pretty empty - aside from the waiting room chairs, there were three seemingly random cubes on the ground, but one had a little laptop on it for them to pick out their outfits on.

"Here, so, we click this..." Nishi pushed a button, and suddenly, the two had their clothing vanish! "And then we wait like this forever!"

"Nishi!" Yosh yelped, covering his underbelly. "Come on..."

"What? It's a cute look for you!" the naked orange yoshi grinned and rubbed Yosh's back and tail. "You can run around the space station all nakie, it'll make it extra tough for everyone to do their tasks!"

Yosh shyly shuffled to the computer and poked around on screen, "Oh, a green space suit? Do I go with dark green or lime green..."

"I'm picking orange!" Nishi sung, as he poked the button, and suddenly his nakie dino form had a simple orange space suit cover it. "Whichever color you pick, you should add some accessories! I think you'd need this one." Nishi laughed and pressed the button for a big white diaper to appear on the costume.

"Hm?" Yosh looked down at his body, still just nude in his feathers! But he looked over and saw Nishi had a big fluffy garment on now. "Hee hee, uh oh, I think I was supposed to push that button, not you..."

Nishi wiggled his hips for Yosh and then tapped the button again. "I mean... I hope you enjoyed the view!"

Yosh tapped that button right away to get an extra big diaper on himself. "Huh, does this go outside the costume? Like for decoration? Or inside?"

"I dunno! I mean, decoration is usually outside... press it twice! One for inside, since you'll need it when you get nervous, and one for the outside so you look like a baby green space duckling!"

Yosh shrugged and figured that did suit him well... so with one more button press, he got a big lime green space suit on his body. He tried to press the diaper button again, but noticed something... "Hey! This outfit doesn't have any hands!"

The ducky lifted his legs since they were confined in the suit, but otherwise the simple space suit only had a glass oval in front for his face, and a backpack behind him. "How am I supposed to do anything? I look like the letter A..."

"Oh it's fine." Nishi demonstrated, and pushed his hand forward to make a hand appear from the suit. "You just push out, it's sorta flexible I guess?"

Yosh tried too, and was able to push his button, and add on a second diaper to his outfit. "Weird... but okay! I guess we're ready to start?"

"That's right! Just wait and our friends will pop right in." Nishi smiled, opening the room to their friends. Inside the shaky, vibrating little gray room, Yosh heard a few more chirping sounds, as if some robotic laser birds were in there! He turned around and white shapes of his friends started to phase into the room.

"Quashi!" a familiar yoshi-quacking sound came out of a yellow space suit. It was Yosh's younger sister, Winry.

"Hamha!" another light lasery chirp happened, and Oxnard in a cute little pink space suit landed his butt on the couch.

"There's two of em." Nishi nodded. "Well, we have four people, that's the minimum for the game!"

"Er, can I get a little refresh on the rules?" Yosh asked Nishi, as another joined them.

"Oh, here's Gyro!" Oxnard to his left as a big purple space suit appeared beside him.

"Hero?" Yosh asked, not sure he heard right since the chirping sounds sure caught his attention.

"Gy-ro! Like... Gyroscopic controls! Jive-row!" Oxnard chuckled and started running around the room in circles, as the big pink bunny in the purple suit greeted them and tagged along.

"As for the rules of the game..." Nishi lifted a finger, before a cyan space suit-wearer phased into the room with a chirp. "Oh hey it's Cumshot!"

"Nutalie!" Oxnard chuckled.

"Noot-uh-lee?" Yosh pondered towards the motherly squirrel in the cyan suit.

"Haha, it's pretty hard to talk and hear in these suits, huh Yosh?" Nishi giggled, "It's okay, a lot of people actually play this using like, voice chat stuff separately... otherwise there's a text box in the corner... but you can only use it at the start, and during serious meetings. The game is actually pretty quiet on its own! Are ya gonna be able to manage that?"

"Hey, I don't talk all the time! Or well, I don't need to. I can just have fun playing." Yosh playfully defended himself.

Oxnard jumped in, "In space, no one hears you talk! ...Or well, you can talk, but usually only you can hear it. The suit is for safety, right?"

"Alright, we have..." Nishi counted - himself, Yosh, Winry, Oxnard, Gyro, Nutalie... and some other person? "Hey wait, who's the person in the red suit?"

"Seven players is enough to start the game!" Oxnard cheered. "Let's-" but then, another space suiter joined.

"Dark green? Hmm..." the new, short crewmate that joined their team wandered over to the laptop. "Oh! Someone already picked yellow, okay..." They pressed a button, and their suit came off!

"Hey, it's Macaroni Penguin!" Nishi waved. Yosh shyly waved too!

"Hello dearies, I see my color's chosen, so... I'll pick the lighter yellow banana color." she nodded, and with that, her padded penguin self got a light yellow suit to cover her up again!

"Hey Yosh, instead of showing Mac your noodle, you're gonna have to show her your banana!" Nishi nudged him.

"Or we could start calling her Banana Penguin..." he lightly suggested. "But! Nishi, I still don't know how to play the game!"

"Okay, quick version for whoever hasn't played!" Nishi jumped up to catch everyone's attention, "When we start, it'l show if you're a Crewmate, or an Imposter. Crewmates get a bunch of small tasks to do, and you go to the different stations on the ship and complete them. If we complete them all, we win!" He then looked over at the mysterious red space suit, "But one person will be the Imposter. They have to blend in with all the other crewmates and make them think they're one of us, even if they don't have any tasks to do. If they get all the other crewmates, they win! They can also use vents to sneak around, and sabotage the ship and cause emergencies that stop us from doing our tasks... so we gotta be quick!"

Yosh chimed in again, "But I don't know all the tasks and things to do."

Nishi pat his shoulder, "It's fine! We can hang out together and I'll show you all the stuff. We'll start in 5!" 

Everyone looked at the number countdown, from 5 to 4, 3, 2, 1...

The room faded to black, and a red space suit popped up in front of Yosh's face! ...It was just a warning message, for everyone to, "Shhhhh!" as the game started. He heard an odd horn, and echoey clicking sounds as an image of all his teammates appeared on screen, and bright blue text above it read, "Crewmate!" So, at least Yosh knew he was a normal crewmate this time, but one of his friends were likely an imposter that would try to mess him up... at least, since there was now more text underneath that read,  "There is 1 Imposter among us."

"Ooooh, well, that's why they call it that." Yosh nodded.

The screen faded and Yosh was transported into a cafeteria!

"My favorite room!" Oxnard chuckled, "Oh hey, pizza." He and Gyro walked to a table that had a random space slice of pizza on it.

"Don't eat that, deary, who knows how old it is!" Banana Penguin warned him.

"I'm definitely a crewmate!" Nishi smiled, "Don't worry guys you can all trust me to be a crewmate and not an imposter."

The crewmate in the red space suit silently walked off into one of the three cafeteria room doors to go do their tasks.

"That sounds a little suspicious, Nishi." Yosh noted.

"Are you calling me sus, Yosh!" Nishi chuckled, "I'm totally legit! And I'm going to help you out, so don't worry. Let's go do some tasks, my fellow crewmate."

"Sus? I called you sus-picious..." Yosh felt a little nervous as the two walked to the door on their left.

"That's what it means! If someone is suspicious, you gotta let folks know they're sus." Nishi explained, as he brought Yosh to a small room with a green holographic screen. "Hey! This should be your first task, right? It's uh..." the dinosaur looked around, "I forget what it's called since I don't have this task. But it's like a computer game! You have to click and blast away all the asteroids, Yosh!"

"Okay..." Yosh got to the front of the screen and started looking for asteroids headed towards their ship, and started clicking on them to make them disappear. "So I have to get 20 of them to protect the ship? That makes sense." Though, he shortly realized, "Hey, wait, I can't look around behind me! What if someone sneaks up on me while I'm playing the game?"

Nishi nodded, "That's the risk and danger, Yosh! You have to keep the ship safe and do your tasks, but it's hard to do them while you look out for yourself... but don't worry! You do your task, and I'll be the lookout!"

Yosh continued blasting meteors from the ship, but had to ask, "Well, thanks... but, what if you're the imposter, Nishi?" 

"Well Yosh..." the dinosaur leaned in right up behind Yosh, whispering in his ear, "I guess you'd be in a lot of danger huh? Your backside turned to little ol' me, and nothing you can do about it..." Nishi squeezed Yosh's crinkly suit, forgetting he had a diaper on inside and outside it! "Woops."

Yosh squeaked and blushed nervously, blasting away the final asteroid on screen, and completing his task! "EEP! All done! Asteroids destroyed!" 

"Great job Yosh!" Nishi then pointed above them. "Look! Because you finished your task, the task bar filled up. If everyone completely fills this up, it means you win the game!"

Yosh grinned nervously, "You mean WE win the game... like, you win too, right?"

Nishi smiled blankly at Yosh. "Of course, Yosh... all of us CREWMATES, would win the game. You and me both. Because we're both crewmates!" 

Yosh wasn't too sure about that... but, Nishi guided him to the next room, a longer winding hallway with a few other doors leading to other rooms. "Oh, wait here Yosh, maybe I have a task in O2. Stay in the middle of this hallway and keep a lookout." Nishi trotted along to a tiny room with floating leaves that gravitated out of a garbage shoot, and some other machines. 

"Why do I have to stay in the hallway?? Can't I wait in there with you?" Yosh asked.

"I mean, you could... is it scarier to be alone in the hallway, or in a small room with me, Yosh?" Nishi laughed a little chaotically. 

"Uh... ummm!" Yosh wondered, as a banana-colored crewmate quickly rushed by in the hallway. "AAHH!! MACARONI MACARONI!" 

The elderly penguin giggled, "Yes dear, hello, just on my way to complete more tasks..." she then hobbled along back to the cafeteria room.

"See Yosh, your safe! Macaroni didn't get ya, did she?" Nishi asked from the small Oxygen room.

"No... she didn't, I think I'm safe..." Yosh felt his body to check. Suddenly, the lights went out, and it was pitch black inside the ship! Everyone started screaming!

"Yosh! The lights are out!" 

"AAAAAAAAAAAHH!!"

Nishi leaned down towards Yosh, "Actually, does this make a difference for you, or...?" he wondered, before someone with a biggole butt bounced by them both! 

Despite everyone being scared and in a panic, the cheerful bunny in his goofy voice cheerfully stated, "Looks like the lights are out!" before heading to the electrical room to go fix the problem.

Nishi explained to Yosh, "Oh yeah, whenever the lights go out or something, you just have to travel to the electrical room to fix it, but it's hard to get there in the dark." The yoshi grabbed Yosh by the butt, and walked him through the hallway, "It's kinda up and to the... right... sorta." The two wobbled around in the dark clumsily, making their way to the electrical room, where most their friends were gathered.

"Almost got it!" Gyro noted, before flicking one more switch and, wala! The lights were back on!

"OH NO!" Oxnard gasped, pointing to the ground.

Yosh and the others gazed down to see the remains of a banana-colored space suit, and a fluffy pair of white diapers.

"Yosh!" Oxnard asked, "Did you leave these diapers here? Right on top of Mac's suit??"

Yosh shook his head in panic, "What? No! I still have my diapers!"

Everyone looked down, and Yosh's lime green space suit... didn't have them on anymore! 

"M-my diapers!! Where did they go!?" Yosh waddled nervously, hopping from foot to foot.

"I mean, it's not like your naked," Nishi sighed. "You still have on a space suit, and diapers under that..."

Oxnard remembered, "Oh! Actually we need to hold a meeting for this and report the body." He then tapped the report button on his screen, and suddenly everyone had an Emergency Meeting notice on their screen! Red and white fiery streaks shot across behind the text, and once it disappeared, everyone landed back in the Cafeteria to discuss what happened, and figure out who did it.

They all looked over to a big screen against the cafeteria wall that showed a list of names and everyone's icons, with Macaroni's icon crossed out. She was gone...

"Well, looks like someone got Macaroni during the black out," Oxnard stated, "We were all there, and when the lights came on, Yosh's diapers were on top of Macaroni's body... or uh, just her suit."

"They weren't my diapers!" Yosh cried out, "They looked smaller! I didn't do it, I like Banana Penguin a lot!" 

Nishi pat Yosh's back, "That's true, I don't think Yosh would get rid of one of his favorites if he WAS the Imposter."

"My diapers did fall off, it looks like, but they're probably in the hallway or something, and came off during the blackout or when someone ran by me, I bet if we could go in the hallway you'd see my diapers, and prove my innocence!"

"Yosh..." Nishi leaned in and whispered, "It's usually best to say as little as possible during these meetings. The more you speak and say you're innocent, the more sussy you seem."

"Sussy?" Yosh stopped, "Is that like, sus and suspicious?"

"This is no time to talk about sussy!" Oxnard alerted everyone, "At least, without her suit and diapers, Macaroni Banana Penguin is out there showing everyone her Sussy as we speak... let's just hope she's still alive somehow..."

Nishi thought, "She was old so, she would be the first to die among us..."

"Regardless," Captain Oxnard continued, "Yosh, we can't go out in the hallway or open these doors during a meeting. Otherwise the imposter could escape! We have to figure out who did it now, and get rid of them, so we can complete our tasks in peace."

Yosh whimpered, "But... the diapers proving my innocence are out there!" He worried, "How will everyone know that I'm not... sus?"

"Well," Nishi noted, "I guess now's a good time to mention that I untaped Yosh's diapers when we made our way to the electrical room." The dinosaur strolled around the room like he was giving a lecture, "And the diapers that were on or in Macaroni's suit are from what she wore inside it... so those would be smaller than the diaper outside of Yosh's suit, so, if after this meeting we see his biggole crinkly pampers out there, or even compare it to Macaroni's, we can see that they're two different sets of diapers, and that Yosh is likely innocent. He was with me the whole time anyway."

Oxnard nodded, "Well, that's all you needed to say. If you're both each other's alibi and were together the whole time, and didn't notice the other leaving to kill, then you're probably fine."

"It was during a black out though, so you never know..." Nishi noted, points for honesty.

The big bunny boy leaned in and asked, "So uh, are we voting for anyone, or do we skip the vote?"

"We don't really have anything else to go off of..." Oxnard decided, as the time limit for the vote was nearing the end, "Yosh was pretty sus back there, but Nishi says he's innocent, so I guess we can skip the vote this time..." He then walked over to the board, and hit the "Skip vote" button.

Everyone else seemed to follow suit, and skipped the vote. The timer ran out, and the digital board flickered. It showed most the crew members voted to skip the vote. However, Winry voted for herself, and Yosh also got one vote against him, from the mysterious red crewmate...

"Hey! I didn't do it..." Yosh whined, seeing the results.

"Don't worry Yosh," Oxnard smiled, "It takes more than one vote to lose, I think. And Winry voted for herself too, so it's a tie anyway." 

With that, the cafeteria doors opened up, and everyone went back to doing their tasks. Yosh however, stared at the red crewmate that voted for him. "But they still think I did it..."

Nishi put his arm around Yosh to go continue their tasks. "Don't worry Yosh, maybe they just hit the button and voted for you before they heard the whole discussion! Or maybe they did it and needed to vote for someone else, or maybe they think you're sus~"

Yosh sighed, worried, their adventure wasn't over yet, and they hadn't figured out who was the imposter! But, with Nishi guiding him and helping their team continue to do their tasks, perhaps they could save the ship and continue their journey in time. Seven players remained, but there was still one imposter among them...
