Due to its position on the tectonic plate and it’s general makeup, it is rumoured, that the archipelago was formed as a result of Groudon and Kyogre’s supernatural conflict. Technically speaking the islands are capable of sustaining the Family on their own. Temptation and curiosity are driving the exploration of the mainland since the family got aware of it. To aid their expansion into the new territory, the family has employed and refurbished a number of abandoned buildings on the coast of the continent to serve as forward base. The largest building, a large construction of multiple stories, has been turned to serve as a multipurpose hotel and restaurant. While the underground levels have been restricted to the service personnel, the entire ground floor has been reshaped to work as a large continuous dining and lounging area with a simple front desk to greet new customers. The upper floors offer a plethora of different rooms for patrons of all kinds and offer a multitude of services. From a single night with minimal contact to a luxurious stay with all services the houses options are near endless. As long as the money is right any costumer can buy everything the region has to offer and more. A room suitable for every patron’s needs, the finest meals the continent has to offer and the most intimate service that never asks questions. This place has it all if you have the money. Since nothing has an upfront price tag though, you can easily fall prey to the places little dark secret. See, the family doesn’t just run the business. The whole settlement surrounding the place and the ever-expanding territory around the settlement is controlled and policed by the Family. As the Family makes the rules, enforces the rules and keeps the peace within the settlement and its surrounding area, you will quickly be reminded who you owe the money to. Have you been enjoying the luxury of having a meek escort at your mercy? Not exactly few patrons overshot their budget like this and found themselves in a way less favourable position than their escort has been with them. However, a support network like this has its advantage for the highest up the food chain. Being part of the Families functioning body is giving you access to the whole establishment’s venues for practically free. Only topped by the Circle’s full and unquestioned access to all services, venues and the entire staff the Family employs, as they please. It is in his intrinsic nature as the Lucario he is, that he needs the unbound freedom only a support network like the Family can offer to Kyani. The abhorrence of the Circle to be dependent on outside forces of any kind, is the reason why the operations of the Family are suppressing rivalling competitors of any kind. Kyani needs this feeling of a total lack of obligations and not to be bound by his very surroundings, so that he can sort out the responsibilities his position inside his organisation is laying upon him. This personal freedom is giving him the opportunity to hold onto the little issues the Family is facing on a daily basis and humour them with his own sense of right and wrong. While the other Lucarios of the Circle prefer to stay on the archipelago and manage the core functions of the organisation from there, Kyani is traveling a lot across the continent and is seeking out small and big challenges alike. Although it might look odd to most Pokémon of places with more strict hierarchical structures to see one of the most influential Pokémon around just casually assume the position of a front desk clerk. Kyani has done weirder things in the past and it’s his nonchalant nature that usually doesn’t really raise suspicion with less familiar patrons. Always accompanying her mentor (and stepfather) you won’t have to look far before you find the Riolu Veronica. Although she isn't by far young, she still needs a lot of time to overcome the trauma she suffered throughout her youth. As a result, she is still stuck unable to evolve into a Lucario. She is enjoying the freedom she is given at the side of Kyani, but still very uneasy with the authority the newfound position in her life is giving her.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t | \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
