This was one of those times when Kyani was setting out for the mainland to get himself some real experience.\nHe was traveling through a thick forest in the shallow valleys of some gentle mountain range, he was barely familiar with. On his way along an old overland route, a leftover of a time long gone, he met another one of his own kind. The cute male was slightly smaller than the larger than average sized Kyani. The friendly Lucario introduced himself as Zaruko. In contrast to the blue and beige of Kyani the other Lucario was sporting dark grey fur and wore a red hoody and gloves.\nTogether they travelled through the misty scenery of the still early morning. At first, they were talking about recent events in the world, sharing exercise methods and equally light-hearted things. Though topics shifted as the sun rose from the horizon and the mist slowly settled. As modest tips and simple gossip shifted into exaggerated stories and embellished descriptions, both of them couldn’t help but get turned on over each other’s vivid tales.\nDistracted and flustered over the matters that grew before him, Zaruko’s attention to their ongoing conversation slipped as they slowly approached noon. Irritated because of his new friend’s increasing struggle taking part in their conversation, Kyani skipped asking Zaruko what was going on, and instead probed the thoughts of the distracted Lucario with his aura.\nA broken piece of carved wood and a few too well-placed stones betrayed an abandoned path into the forest proper off the beaten trek up ahead.
