It was okay at best, and I had a good time seeing it in theaters with some family when it was released. But at the same time, it's not as good as the 2016 Jungle Book remake, and I acknowledge why others say the original animated film is superior in every way, since it's one of my favorite kit hood/Disney movies of all time.\n\nAdmittedly, I have had optimism for Mufasa since its announcement, even from some of the trailers.\n\nBut the movie ended up being, as everyone said on the web, another soulless Disney (not live-action, but, photorealistic CG in this case) remake, no thanks to its so-so-executed story, beautiful visuals that get squandered by creepy uncanny facial expressions on the animals, including obnoxious closeups, cringey comedy, voice acting that ranges from good to decent to okay to just mid, and missed opportunities with most of the characters, with Timon and Pumbaa being the WORST ones of the bunch in there.😩\n\nBut the film does have its pearls, or lack thereof, like some of the songs, intense action, Dave Metzger's music score, and what I personally think is the best character in the film, Zazu!❤️🪶\n\nI freaking love him, almost the same way I loved him in the animated media. In fact, forgive me,😳 I pretty much simped for him.😻 His voice, his singing, his movements, his sense of humor, his personality, his cute butt (although his butt was cuter in the cartoon), EVERYTHING!!! He's just so damn cute!! I know, 😳it was weird AF of me that I said those things🫢, but still!!!🥰\n\nActually, if it wasn't for him, the movie would have sucked harder. But a movie or show shouldn't be good just because of one character alone.\n\nAnd this is where the idea of this picture came into place. To see which one of the two has the nicest butt that is squishing together with their wet, dripping cloacae out on display.
