Do you have P.E. too?”\n\nThe young fox nodded and just continued playing, “I’m stuck in Folsom prison, and time keeps draggin’ on, but that train keeps a rollin’ on down to San Anton…”\n\n“Shouldn’t you get to class then?” she asked while looking up at a nearby clock, No’sh shook his head, slid his shoe off, and somehow reached into his pocket and pulled out a note with his foot.\n\n“When I was just a baby my mama told me. Son, always be a good boy, don’t ever play with guns.” \n\nNo’sh continued playing as the young mink looked at the note. “So you got a note from your doctor to get you out of gym?” she asked resulting in a nod from the green fox.\n\n“But I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die\n\nNow every time I hear that whistle I hang my head and cry…”\n\nAs if waiting for that line, the bell rang and Zoe let out a sigh, “Guess I better go get changed then…” No’sh stopped playing long enough to salute the mink and then put his guitar away to go into the gym, “Have fun Pinky… just watch out for rodents, I hear some of them are very tough on others around here…”\n\nThe young mink opened the door to the girls’ locker room and fidgeted with her tail. “It’s ok Zoe it’s just other girls… you’ve been naked around Frankie enough times that it shouldn’t bother you…” she thought to herself as she walked into the room and saw a lot of half naked girls and began to blush. “This isn’t so bad…” she thought looking around the room until she noticed that girls both older and younger were more developed then her, “Great… just what my self esteem needed.”\n\nGym was rather uneventful for Zoe; she ran and did all the things she was told to do. The only interesting part was some chipmunk getting on No’sh’s case because he sat down in the middle of the gym singing and playing songs from Buddy Holly which caused Zoe to smile slightly and her tail to sway to the music.\n\nZoe let out a sigh of relief as she walked into the locker room after class and headed towards the shower after grabbing a towel. Along the way, she heard a few of the girls talking about her.\n\n“What’s the deal with the new girl anyways, why doesn’t she wear her uniform?” she heard one girl ask.\n\n“I dunno… I heard she’s shy and likes to hide behind her tail most the time,” she heard another girl say.\n\n“It’s big enough… heck it’s even bigger then mine,” she heard a squirrel say and laugh slightly with her friends, “Wonder how shy she really is though, I swear she didn’t have any panties on.”\n\nZoe blushed at hearing that and ran into the shower after quickly stripping off her gym clothes. She took a long shower washing away the sweat of gym and the stress of the day until the bell rang and reminded her that she still had another class.\n\n“Oh crap…” she ran out of the shower and grabbed three towels drying her body and hair with one and using the other two to try and dry her tail as she ran to her locker to get dressed. “This can’t be happening…” she thought out loud as she mink…” “What’s it to ya?” asked one of the girls before Niko lashed out and grabbed a hold of her shirt bringing her near his growling face and exposed teeth, “Where is she and what did you do to her?”\n\n“S-she’s in the locker room, we didn’t do nothing besides hide her clothes honest!” shouted one of the other girls, nervous by the scared fox’s actions.\n\n“You better be telling the truth, or I’ll be back…” Niko growled one last time as he let the girl go and ran towards the gym to help his friend.\n\n“What the hell was that guys deal?” the girl he had been holding asked while trying to fix her shirt, “Maybe he’s her boyfriend or something…” answered another.\n\n-------------------------------\n\nZoe walked around the locker room desperately hunting for her clothes when she heard the door fly open.\n\n“Zoe, you in here!?” she heard Niko shout out as he ran into the room and stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of Zoe’s bare butt as she looked underneath a bench for her stuff,\n\n“Wow…” was all he managed to get out before Zoe kicked him right in the balls, “PERVERT!” \n\n“I-I’m sorry Zoe,” Niko said while holding his wounded pride and making sure not to look towards there or I’ll break them.”\n\nNiko gulped and took a big sniff of the towel feeling as if he was going to pass out just from her scent and how hard it made him, “Alright, Zoe, you won’t see me unless I have your clothes.”\n\nWho knows how long Niko had been sniffing, the tardy bell had already rung a while ago and he had searched most of the room.\n\n“Where the hell are they?” he asked himself moments before that sweet scent that was Zoe tickled his nose from the far corner of the room, “Jackpot.”\n\nZoe sat naked in the shower with her tail wrapped around herself wishing that he would noise from outside the shower and poked her head out to see the fox had passed out with a tent in his pants, “Eep… I better get my clothes on and see if he’s ok…” she thought as she headed out of the shower.\n\n“Hey, Kit wake up…” he felt somebody shaking him and opened his eyes to see Zoe kneeling near him.\n\n“It’s Niko now… I kinda had a blast of memory earlier today,” the young fox with a He felt his release building up within him until suddenly…\n\n“Cold!” he nearly fell out of the shower as the hot water finally gave out on him.\n\n---------------------------------\n\n“Damn piece of shit water heater, always cutting out on me at the worse times,” the young fox exited the bathroom cursing under his breath.\n\n“Nikolas,” Niko nearly jumped out of the jeans he was in the process of putting on as he saw Ryoku standing outside his room with a few buckets of paint sitting by the door.\n\n“Ryoku Sensei… did you decide on my punishment already?” he asked as he finally fastened his pants.\n\n“Depends on if you consider painting a punishment,” the older fox said with a smile\n\nNiko looked at all the buckets and noticed that very few of them were the same color.\n\n“So you want me to paint my room?” Niko asked hoping that by stating the obvious his sensei would elaborate.\n\nThe silvery fox smiled and nodded, “Yes but I don’t want it to be just a room, I want it to be an extension of yourself.”\n\nNiko looked at the old fox in confusion, “What does that mean?”\n\nRyoku tossed him a paintbrush and began walking away, “Just paint whatever or whoever it is you feel like.”\n\nNiko smiled at his retreating guardian, “As you wish, Ryoku Sensei.”\n\n--------------------------------\n\nIt had been nearly five hours since Ryoku had left Niko to his punishment and he was curious as to what the young fox had done with his freedom.\n\n“Nikolas,” he knocked at his ward’s door, “May I come in?”\n\nHe heard rustling from the other side of the door before it was cracked open.\n\n“Just a moment Sensei…” Ryoku heard even more noise from behind the door and could have sworn he heard a zipper before the door was thrown open.\n\n“What are you doing in here?” the older fox asked as he looked around.\n\n“Just painting,” was Niko’s reply.\n\nRyoku looked around the room and noticed that very little had changed on any of the walls except for the far wall with his student’s closet. The wall had a snow-white kyubi with red eyes and only seven tails drawn on it baring its fangs as its long tails swung about and framed the closet door.\n\n“That is rather disturbing, Nikolas,” Ryoku said while removing his glasses and cleaning to get a better look.\n\n“It’s in me somewhere, Sensei,” Niko ran his hand over his exposed scars as he looked at what he drew, “Though that’s not all…”\n\n“Really, now,” Ryoku looked around the room again seeing nothing, “What else did you paint?”\n\nA beaming smile came to Niko’s face as he looked up at the ceiling above his bed. Ryoku gave a curious look and glanced up as well.\n\nOn the ceiling was a painting of an angelic naked mink with her arms and wings spread wide showing every inch of her creamy white fur and small breasts, the only slight bit of modesty was that her tail was wrapped around her waist as if it was a skirt.\n\n“I see…” Ryoku looked at the painting and then back at his student, “I take it that is Zoe?”\n\nNiko blushed slightly and nodded before Ryoku ruffled the young fox’s hair and left the room with a knowing smile.\n\n“Dinner will be ready soon, so don’t spend too much time on your art project.”\n\n-------------------------------\n\nThe abyss calls out to me…\n\nNiko felt as if he was falling into a pit of nothing.\n\nThe darkness stretches for eternity hiding what dwells within…\n\nHe heard the sounds of claws clicking as something large moved beneath but seemed to fade as the young fox landed.\n\nHere that beast wanders stalking all that fall into this purgatory…\n\nNiko walked this expanse of oblivion with fear in his heart but he knew that the past lay somewhere within.\n\n“I cast the beast out of this child!”\n\nNiko felt a searing pain on the right side of his face and collapsed as the smell of burning flesh filled his nose.\n\nA growling noise echoed around him followed by screams and the sensation of a hot coppery scented liquid covering his body.\n\nThe taste and smell of blood filled his senses as flashes of forest filled his mind and slowly gave way to a vast wasteland with a shadowy figure standing in the middle with dead eyes of red.\n\n“Welcome home, fox,” Niko heard a hiss like voice echo within his mind.\n\nNiko tried to speak but only a whimper of fear escaped him as the figure began to walk closer to him and he saw long blades attached to its wrists.\n\n“Don’t try to run, little fox, this is what you came for,” Niko felt as if his legs were made of stone as he looked into the glowing eyes of the figure that had suddenly developed a frightening hood upon his head.\n\nThe young fox felt something tear through his body as a vicious growl emitted from his throat and he lunged at his attacker.\n\n“Do you remember yet?” Niko felt pain all over his body and could feel blood flowing from multiple wounds.\n\nHis vision blurred and he heard a demonic cry that sounded like a fox. He felt like just fading away within the all-consuming darkness but the pain faded and his vision returned to see the figure fallen before him.\n\n“Poor child lost in the abyss…” he felt a stabbing pain in his chest and collapsed, “Broken beyond remembrance, soon you shall be whole.”\n\nAs the pain engulfed his shattered body, he saw a wild looking fox with snow-white fur and a single blade like tail that was covered in blood.\n\n--------------------------------\n\nNiko woke with a start and realized he wasn’t in his bed and was covered in a sticky red substance.\n\n“What the hell is going on?” the young fox sat up from the floor and sniffed at the red on his hands not sure whether it was paint or not.\n\n“W-was I sleep walking or something?” Niko looked up at his wall and saw what looked like a bloody field with a large white cobra glaring down at him and twin crescent moons on each side of the serpent’s hood painted in the deepest crimson he had ever seen outside of blood.\n\nHe staggered to his feet and felt as if his entire body was on fire and that his supper was about to abandon him. He shambled towards his door and took one last look at the snake, “Noiz…”\n\n------------------------------\n\n“Do I even want to ask about the tail?” No’sh asked as he found Niko sitting in a tree with his tail completely wrapped in bandages.\n\n“No you don’t,” Niko answered as he leapt from the tree and landed in front of his friend.\n\n“Now I really want to know,” the green fox said with a grin. \n\nNiko began heading towards the front doors of the school, “To bad you weird Poison Ivy wannabe.”\n\n“I’m your best friend I have a right to know,” No’sh stopped for a second as what Niko called him sunk in, “Do I really look like a hot redhead with a plant fetish?”\n\n“That last part maybe, Mr. Green Jeans,” a voice came from behind them and a large smile came to Niko’s face as her scent filled his nose.\n\n“So now I’m an ancient kid’s show sidekick?” No’sh asked as both he and Niko turned to see Zoe standing there dressed in the school uniform.\n\nNiko just stared with his mouth hanging open until Zoe blushed and wrapped her tail around herself.\n\n“I think you found his weakness, Miss Wilder,” No’sh grinned as he looked over the mink and then at Niko.\n\nZoe blushed even deeper red, “Shut up, No’sh…” she shyly walked over to Niko and closed his muzzle, “I guess he does like it though.”\n\nNiko could only nod as he tried unsuccessfully to stop himself from staring.\n\nA wicked smile came to No’sh’s face and he motioned for Zoe to come close so he could whisper something that caused Zoe to blush and smack the fox.\n\n“I’ll do no such thing, you pervert!” Zoe shouted gaining the attention of other students.\n\n“I meant to him,” No’sh said while rubbing his cheek and pointing at Niko.\n\n“Oh… s-sorry,” Zoe hid behind her tail and looked at the confused white fox, “I’ll do it.”\n\nNo’sh smiled as the nervous mink walked seductively towards Niko and pressed up against him, “We want to know what happened to your tail,” she said as her tail wrapped around the fox and she looked up into his eyes.\n\n“I-I-I had a bad dream…” Niko stammered, “Some white snake was attacking me and I woke up with a slash up my tail.”\n\n“White Snake?” No’sh looked at Niko with curiosity, “You mean the ones that go “Here I go again?”\n\nBoth the blushing fox and mink stared at him strangely, “No, I mean a white snake… damn thing was like a ghost,” Niko said as he slowly wrapped his arms around the mink pressed against him only to have her blush deeply and pull away.\n\n“S-sorry I did that Niko,” Zoe hid behind her tail again but was unable to hide the smile on her face, “I-it sounded like a good way to get you to talk…”\n\nNiko looked at the girl sheepishly, “It’s alright…” a goofy grin came to his face, “I really liked it.”\n\nZoe shyly smiled from behind her tail.\n\n“Ah young love,” No’sh wrapped his arms around both of them and headed towards the school with the uncomfortable pair, “Time to get to class boys and girls.”\n\n---------------------------\n\n“You ever get the feeling you was being watched?” No’sh looked back at the teacher who had caught him trying to leave the building, “Guess so… Why couldn't it have been a hot robotic rabbit?”\n\nHe let out a sigh as he was led through the halls towards his first period class.\n\n“Why you gotta bust my balls about class?” No’sh asked the bear when they reached the door that would seal the green fox’s fate.\n\n“You’ve skipped class for over a week, you’re just lucky I didn’t flunk you already.”\n\nNo’sh let out a sigh as he was pushed into the class that was just starting up. I?” he asked no one in particular.\n\n“Are you new or something?” the wolf asked looking over the roster.\n\n“And here I thought being booked was gonna be bad…” No’sh said while looking the wolf over.\n\n“Huh?” the wolf gave him a strange look.\n\n“No’sh Walker… and no I’m not new, I’ve just been on the run from this purgatory of key strokes and repetitive clicking noises,” he said looking forlornly around the room, “Unfortunately my luck ran out and I was captured by a bear… and not the entertaining kind like at the circus or a gay pride parade.”\n\n“Ok…” the wolf scanned the list, “Your names Nor-“\n\nNo’sh lashed out holding the wolf’s lower jaw down, “Don’t ever say that name out loud… I’m like Rumplstiltskin if you say my real name I’ll get pissed off and hurt you.”\n\nThe wolf’s eyes changed slightly and he smacked No’sh’s hand away.\n\n“Relax buddy,” No’sh backed up and raised his hands in a non-threatening way, “I don’t wanna fight the great Nate Lupis… I just don’t want the world to know what my mom calls me when she’s pissed.”\n\n“Great huh?” Nate asked with a grin.\n\n“Oh yes greatness abounds when there’s a wolf in town capable of such destruction of Rod and his goons,” No’sh said with a smile, “So great in fact that I’m tempted to give you a little somethin for free.”\n\n“Great first Xavier now this guy…” the wolf said to himself.\n\nNo’sh smiled and shook his head, “Not exactly what I meant… unless you wanna that is.”\n\nHe sat back on a desk, “I’m not exactly discriminate about gender when it’s cute and fuzzy,” he winked at Nate, “but to tell you the truth I prefer bunnies over bow wows... probably has to do with the predatory nature of this town, I mean most the couples in school are food stuffs to their partners.”\n\n“Ok…” Nate looked at replied the wolf causing No’sh to let out a sigh and head to an empty computer after draping his guitar case over his back.\n\n“Well this blows…” No’sh thought to himself as he sat down with another sigh, until he noticed a pretty boy bunny in the room, “Maybe I should come to class more often… might be able to take a trip down the rabbit hole…”\n\nHis mind wandered for the rest of class and he decided to turn in his work surprising Nate that the only thing typed on the paper was the lyrics to “Let it be.”\n\nOn the way out of the room, he nearly ran over another glasses wearing wolf.\n\n“Holy hell it’s a doppelganger!” No’sh jumped back and nearly fell over a few other students including that rabbit he had been watching earlier.\n\n“You ok?” the new wolf asked.\n\n“Don’t take this as being racist or anything but all you wolves look alike to me…” the green fox said as he got to his feet and smiled sheepishly at the students he had collided with, “Sorry about that peoples… false alarm.”\n\nHe extended his paw to the wolf in front of him, “No’sh Walker, nice to meet you.”\n\n“My name’s Davy.” The wolf said as he shook No’sh’s paw.\n\n-----------------------------\n\nNo’sh sat against his locker with his guitar in his lap.\n\n“I look at the floor and see it needs sweeping still my guitar gently weeps…”\n\nNiko came running around a corer and tripped over the musical fox.\n\n“Mellow out bro…” No’sh sat back up and glanced over his guitar for damage, “What’s the rush about anyways?”\n\n“I’m late,” he sprung back to his feet and looked around before sniffing at the air, “I was supposed to meet Zoe before class but she never told me where.”\n\n“So you’re just gonna try and sniff her out?” No’sh asked while gathering up his stuff, “I think you’d be better off looking for her at lunch.”\n\nNiko took one more big sniff before letting out a defeated sigh, “You’re probably right… to many other scents filling the air.”\n\n“Sorry man, I’d help you find her,” he said as he stood up and slung his guitar over his shoulder, “but I prefer to stay outta school before lunch.”\n\n“Then why do you even come?” Niko asked in confusion.\n\n“It’s the law…” No’sh began walking down the hall before smiling back at his friend, “Besides how else am I gonna hang out with my friends or hook up with the lovely ladies and the pretty boys?”\n\nNiko was quiet not really having an answer and slightly creeped out by the pretty boys comment.\n\n“You already know you aren’t my type Niko,” he winked at the white fox, “I prefer more submissive guys or rabbits.”\n\n---------------------------------\n\n“Oh no, oh no, oh no…” Zoe ran through the halls towards her class while thinking to herself, “Niko you big dummy, I wanted to ask you about that little fox brat…”\n\nShe wasn’t paying attention, lost in thought and in a hurry to get to English class before the bell rang. She failed to notice a silver and gold heading towards the door until they collided.\n\n“Owwie,” Zoe rubbed her head and pouted from where she had landed upside down against the wall with her tail in her face, “What hit me?”\n\n“Sorryaboutthat,” Zoe heard a very rapid voice say and she looked from behind her tail seeing a bird of pray standing over her.\n\n“Don’t eat me! I prefer to think of myself as a biologist or a sociologist studying the physical and psychological aspects of my fellow students.”\n\n“That’s still stalking, you damn red spotted freak!” Niko glared into the red eyes of the leopard as he felt his own pulse red slightly.\n\n“Fascinating…” Sam clicked on Niko’s name causing a file to open which contained pictures of him when he was in the hospital as well as various notes and files that should not have been there, “When angered the subject has the strange trait of red eyes and on rare occasions has been seen to become feral.”\n\n“Where did you get that stuff?” Niko asked forgetting his anger in shock at the things he saw.\n\n“It’s a secret,” Sam closed the laptop and placed it back in his bag.\n\n“You son of a bi-” Niko was prepared to attack when a sweet scent filled his nose.\n\n“Niko, you jerk, I waited for you after every class,” Zoe had a hold of the fox’s arm and was dragging him towards a table, “Why didn’t you show up?”\n\n“I’m sorry Zoe, but…” he looked back to where Sam had been sitting and saw nothing but a crowd of cubs trying to find seats.\n\n“No “buts” mister,” Zoe sat down and pulled on him to make him sit down, “I need to talk to you and I’m not waiting any longer.”\n\nNiko let out a sigh and sat with Zoe patiently knowing that Sam was probably watching from somewhere.\n\n“So what did you want to talk to me about?” he asked with mild agitation.\n\n“The other day this little fox girl claimed to have had sex with you…” she began watching Niko for any signs of nervousness, “and I wanted to know if it was true or not.”\n\nNiko blushed slightly as he looked into Zoe’s eyes, “I won’t lie to you, I did…” \n\nA hurt look came to Zoe’s face and he knew she didn’t really want to hear that answer.\n\n“You perverted bastard!” Zoe slapped Niko so hard he fell out of his seat, “What kind of sick fuck has sex with a little girl!?”\n\nThe majority of the lunchroom was paying attention to the outburst.\n\n“I-it’s not like that Zoe…” Niko stammered not enjoying the eyes upon him, “I blacked out and when I woke up she had me in her mouth.”\n\nZoe let out a growl and pulled back to punch him only to grab her tail instead and cry into it, “You sick bastard, my uncle gave better excuses then that!”\n\n“Wait… what?!” Niko was confused and had no idea what was happening anymore, but he moved and held Zoe close, “I’m nothing like that Zoe… I swear on my life…”\n\nZoe continued to cry and even though she was angry beyond words at Niko his touch was still comforting so she didn’t pull away.\n\n“If anybody hurts you, I won’t let them walk away…” Niko lifted her chin up and smiled at her, “Even if it’s me.”\n\nZoe could see the sincerity in his eyes and could feel something welling up inside of her as if a part of her enjoyed the pain he had caused.\n\n“N-niko…” she leaned against him dropping her tail and just crying on his shoulder.\n\n“I’ll always protect you, I swear it,” he placed a kiss on her forehead and she looked up with a tear stained smile before planting her lips on his.\n\n----------------------------------\n\n“Save yourselves!”\n\nThere was a commotion in the halls as No’sh ran for his life from a crazed group of cats.\n\n“I swear I’m outta catnip!”\n\nHe ducked into the cafeteria to get away and hopefully mooch some food from someone when the felines lost interest.\n\n“Come on, come on, come on…” \n\nHe scanned the room for a moment looking for somewhere to hide and spotted a crowded table. \n\nMoments later a group of cats stormed into the lunchroom and could not find a trace of the green fox.\n\n“Man that was close…” No’sh let out a relieved sigh and looked around him seeing lots of legs and a decent amount of skirts that caused him to grin.\n\nHe felt eyes upon him and smiled as the people at the table looked under it at him before putting his finger to his muzzle shushing them, “I was never here.”\n\n“No’sh right?” \n\nNo’sh nearly jumped through the table as he heard somebody say his name, “Oh shit don’t rape me!”\n\n“Calm down… I wouldn’t rape you if my life depended on it and I had a different furs dick,” No’sh looked over and noticed Nate looking under the table while sitting between two rabbits.\n\n--------------------------------\n\nRecess time for play, time for sleep, time to spend with your friends or just the one you love.\n\nNiko’s heavily bandaged tail swung back and forth like a metronome as he stalked around like a wild beast while playing hide and seek with Zoe.\n\n“You know I’m gonna find you, it’s just a matter of time,” he said as a sniffed for her scent and was nearly overpowered by the scent of yiff coming from some nearby bushes.\n\nZoe giggled from the tree she had hidden in as she watched Niko stagger slightly from the smell coming from the bushes below her. Niko shook his head and thumped No’sh across the bridge of his nose, “I may have seen her naked, but I didn’t yiff her… I painted her with real paint.”

“Very strange people in this town…” Niko began to walk off again.

“Want a ride home man?” No’sh revved his engine again and drove after him.

Niko looked back at the green fox and shook his head while he continued walking.

“Well as long as that girl doesn’t have anything he should be ok…” No’sh spun his tires before whipping his moped around and heading towards his own home, “I’d really hate for him to get cock rot from his first time.”

A big smile was on Zoe’s face as she found a seat on the bus and sat down, but the smile faded slightly as Edna sat down next to her.

“H-how would you know?” the young mink asked feeling a bit sick to her stomach.

Zoe groggily walked into her home and let out a yawn

“That’s to bad, little miss sunshine,” Frankie scooped  the mink up causing her to let out a startled squeak before the ferret laid down on the couch holding the mink close from behind, “If you don’t tell me what happened then you have to go.”

“Fine,” Zoe said with a pout but still snuggled against her cousin, “On the ride to school some girl tried to get into my pants…”

“Oh no, not lesbian action on the bus,” Frankie giggled slightly and kissed Zoe on the back of the neck causing her to blush.

“Well I’m ok with that, but I didn’t even know the girl,” Zoe loosened the grip on her tail slightly, “I was nervous and scared… a-and then when we got to school I ran into a big scary lizard and I dunno what I did but he got mad and I bit him…”

Zoe shivered slightly but Frankie just held he closer, “He didn’t hurt you did he?”

“N-not really, a couple foxes saved me...” Zoe blushed slightly and smiled remembering how Niko had saved her.

“I guess they were cute,” Frankie smiled and hugged Zoe, “Judging by that smile at least.”

Zoe giggled slightly, “Well one was sweet and helped me more then the green one.”

“Green one huh?” Frankie asked as she sat up slightly and looked over her young cousin’s shoulder at her.

“Uh huh,” Zoe nodded, “His name is No’sh… he’s weird.”

Frankie lay back down behind the mink who had decided to finally let her tail go, “What about the other one?”

Zoe blushed a deep red, “C-can I get back to my day?”

A great big smile came to Frankie’s face, “Only your first day and you have a crush… That’s so cute!”

Zoe blushed even redder and reached for her tail again only to have it caught by Frankie, “No hiding from me, Z. You gotta tell me all about him.”

“His name’s Niko, and as I said he’s a fox…” Zoe began with a smile, “His furs as white as snow and his eyes are a really pretty blue.”

“Sounds like a real fox,” Frankie giggled and pulled her cousin closer, “I bet he makes you feel all funny doesn’t he?”

Zoe blushed and nodded but then shook her head, “N-no it’s not like that… h-he just helped me a few times today.”

Frankie chuckled and leaned over to whisper into her cousin’s ear, “What exactly did he help you with?”

Zoe tried to squirm away from her nosy cousin but couldn’t get away, “I-it wasn’t anything naughty like you’re thinking… He helped me find my clothes in the locker room…”

They laid there for a while, Frankie holding Zoe close, until Zoe was all cried out and nearly fell asleep again.

“I think you should go to school tomorrow and if you want to ask him if what that girl said was true,” Frankie suggested before giving her cousin a kiss on the forehead and getting up.

“I-I’ll think about it Frankie,” the young mink said as her cousin climbed over her and headed into the kitchen.

“You better,” Zoe could here cabinets being opened and stuff rattling around, “What do you want for supper?”

“It don’t matter,” Zoe answered before getting up and heading to her room, “I’ll be in my room if you need me!”

“Oh sure you expect me to do all the work, ya little brat,” Frankie called after Zoe with a slight laugh, “Fine but you have to do the dishes!”

“And that’s what happened…” Niko looked at Ryoku with a worried smile having just told him about almost all of his day except for the sex and the blackouts.

Ryoku sat in silence for a moment and took a drink of tea, “So your name is Nikolas Foxglove is it?”

Niko nodded.

“And it took this Zoe to bring back your memory?” Ryoku took another sip.

“R-right… I’m not sure if it was her or her scent that jumpstarted my mind…” Niko blushed slightly, but thankfully for him he still had paint covering his face.

“Very interesting…” Ryoku took another drink and sat his cup down, “And the paint fighting was for what exactly?”

Niko laughed nervously, “It was just for fun, sensei.”

The older fox smiled at the boy and shook his head slightly, “I don’t know if I should punish you or not for coming home like that… I’ll tell you what, Nikolas, go take a shower and when you get out I’ll have decided.”

“Yes sensei,” Niko gave a slight bow and headed towards his room to gather up something to wear.

Ryoku sat thinking for a while longer before getting up and heading to a small closet within the house.

Niko stood in the shower allowing the water to wash away the dried paint and the blood that had come from his scars.

“What a day…” he thought to himself allowing the hot water to soak into his fur, “I wish I knew why I blacked out twice today… sure school’s boring, but that shouldn’t happen.”

He lathered up some body wash and began rubbing it onto his scarred form.

“At least I met Zoe…” his mind began to wander as he thought about Zoe, her hair, her body, her face, “She’s so hot…”

He barely realized that his foxhood had awoken to the memory of the naked mink he saw when he helped her.

“I love that tail,” his breathing picked up slightly as his hand wrapped around himself as he thought about Zoe.

“Depends on if you consider painting a punishment,” the older fox said with a smile

Niko looked at all the buckets and noticed that very few of them were the same color.

“So you want me to paint my room?” Niko asked hoping that by stating the obvious his sensei would elaborate.

The silvery fox smiled and nodded, “Yes but I don’t want it to be just a room, I want it to be an extension of yourself.”

Niko looked at the old fox in confusion, “What does that mean?”

Ryoku tossed him a paintbrush and began walking away, “Just paint whatever or whoever it is you feel like.”

Niko smiled at his retreating guardian, “As you wish, Ryoku Sensei.”

It had been nearly five hours since Ryoku had left Niko to his punishment and he was curious as to what the young fox had done with his freedom.

“Nikolas,” he knocked at his ward’s door, “May I come in?”

He heard rustling from the other side of the door before it was cracked open.

“Just a moment Sensei…” Ryoku heard even more noise from behind the door and could have sworn he heard a zipper before the door was thrown open.

“What are you doing in here?” the older fox asked as he looked around.

“Just painting,” was Niko’s reply.

Ryoku looked around the room and noticed that very little had changed on any of the walls except for the far wall with his student’s closet. The wall had a snow-white kyubi with red eyes and only seven tails drawn on it baring its fangs as its long tails swung about and framed the closet door.

“That is rather disturbing, Nikolas,” Ryoku said while removing his glasses and cleaning to get a better look.

“It’s in me somewhere, Sensei,” Niko ran his hand over his exposed scars as he looked at what he drew, “Though that’s not all…”

“Really, now,” Ryoku looked around the room again seeing nothing, “What else did you paint?”

A beaming smile came to Niko’s face as he looked up at the ceiling above his bed. Ryoku gave a curious look and glanced up as well.

On the ceiling was a painting of an angelic naked mink with her arms and wings spread wide showing every inch of her creamy white fur and small breasts, the only slight bit of modesty was that her tail was wrapped around her waist as if it was a skirt.

“I see…” Ryoku looked at the painting and then back at his student, “I take it that is Zoe?”

Niko blushed slightly and nodded before Ryoku ruffled the young fox’s hair and left the room with a knowing smile.

“Dinner will be ready soon, so don’t spend too much time on your art project.”

The abyss calls out to me…

Niko felt as if he was falling into a pit of nothing.

The darkness stretches for eternity hiding what dwells within…

He heard the sounds of claws clicking as something large moved beneath but seemed to fade as the young fox landed.

Here that beast wanders stalking all that fall into this purgatory…

Niko walked this expanse of oblivion with fear in his heart but he knew that the past lay somewhere within.

“I cast the beast out of this child!”

Niko felt a searing pain on the right side of his face and collapsed as the smell of burning flesh filled his nose.

A growling noise echoed around him followed by screams and the sensation of a hot coppery scented liquid covering his body.

The taste and smell of blood filled his senses as flashes of forest filled his mind and slowly gave way to a vast wasteland with a shadowy figure standing in the middle with dead eyes of red.

“Welcome home, fox,” Niko heard a hiss like voice echo within his mind.

Niko tried to speak but only a whimper of fear escaped him as the figure began to walk closer to him and he saw long blades attached to its wrists.

“Don’t try to run, little fox, this is what you came for,” Niko felt as if his legs were made of stone as he looked into the glowing eyes of the figure that had suddenly developed a frightening hood upon his head.

The young fox felt something tear through his body as a vicious growl emitted from his throat and he lunged at his attacker.

“Do you remember yet?” Niko felt pain all over his body and could feel blood flowing from multiple wounds.

His vision blurred and he heard a demonic cry that sounded like a fox. He felt like just fading away within the all-consuming darkness but the pain faded and his vision returned to see the figure fallen before him.

“Poor child lost in the abyss…” he felt a stabbing pain in his chest and collapsed, “Broken beyond remembrance, soon you shall be whole.”

As the pain engulfed his shattered body, he saw a wild looking fox with snow-white fur and a single blade like tail that was covered in blood.

Niko woke with a start and realized he wasn’t in his bed and was covered in a sticky red substance.

“What the hell is going on?” the young fox sat up from the floor and sniffed at the red on his hands not sure whether it was paint or not.

“W-was I sleep walking or something?” Niko looked up at his wall and saw what looked like a bloody field with a large white cobra glaring down at him and twin crescent moons on each side of the serpent’s hood painted in the deepest crimson he had ever seen outside of blood.

He staggered to his feet and felt as if his entire body was on fire and that his supper was about to abandon him. He shambled towards his door and took one last look at the snake, “Noiz…”

“Do I even want to ask about the tail?” No’sh asked as he found Niko sitting in a tree with his tail completely wrapped in bandages.

“No you don’t,” Niko answered as he leapt from the tree and landed in front of his friend.

“Now I really want to know,” the green fox said with a grin.

Niko began heading towards the front doors of the school, “To bad you weird Poison Ivy wannabe.”

“I’m your best friend I have a right to know,” No’sh stopped for a second as what Niko called him sunk in, “Do I really look like a hot redhead with a plant fetish?”

“That last part maybe, Mr. Green Jeans,” a voice came from behind them and a large smile came to Niko’s face as her scent filled his nose.

“So now I’m an ancient kid’s show sidekick?” No’sh asked as both he and Niko turned to see Zoe standing there dressed in the school uniform.

Niko just stared with his mouth hanging open until Zoe blushed and wrapped her tail around herself.

“I think you found his weakness, Miss Wilder,” No’sh grinned as he looked over the mink and then at Niko.

Zoe blushed even deeper red, “Shut up, No’sh…” she shyly walked over to Niko and closed his muzzle, “I guess he does like it though.”

Niko could only nod as he tried unsuccessfully to stop himself from staring.

A wicked smile came to No’sh’s face and he motioned for Zoe to come close so he could whisper something that caused Zoe to blush and smack the fox.

“I’ll do no such thing, you pervert!” Zoe shouted gaining the attention of other students.

“I meant to him,” No’sh said while rubbing his cheek and pointing at Niko.

“Oh… s-sorry,” Zoe hid behind her tail and looked at the confused white fox, “I’ll do it.”

No’sh smiled as the nervous mink walked seductively towards Niko and pressed up against him, “We want to know what happened to your tail,” she said as her tail wrapped around the fox and she looked up into his eyes.

“I-I-I had a bad dream…” Niko stammered, “Some white snake was attacking me and I woke up with a slash up my tail.”

“White Snake?” No’sh looked at Niko with curiosity, “You mean the ones that go “Here I go again?”

Both the blushing fox and mink stared at him strangely, “No, I mean a white snake… damn thing was like a ghost,” Niko said as he slowly wrapped his arms around the mink pressed against him only to have her blush deeply and pull away.

“S-sorry I did that Niko,” Zoe hid behind her tail again but was unable to hide the smile on her face, “I-it sounded like a good way to get you to talk…”

Niko looked at the girl sheepishly, “It’s alright…” a goofy grin came to his face, “I really liked it.”

Zoe shyly smiled from behind her tail.

“Ah young love,” No’sh wrapped his arms around both of them and headed towards the school with the uncomfortable pair, “Time to get to class boys and girls.”

“You ever get the feeling you was being watched?” No’sh looked back at the teacher who had caught him trying to leave the building, “Guess so… Why couldn't it have been a hot robotic rabbit?”

He let out a sigh as he was led through the halls towards his first period class.

“You’ve skipped class for over a week, you’re just lucky I didn’t flunk you already.”

No’sh let out a sigh as he was pushed into the class that was just starting up. Computers everywhere, the heat was annoying, the sound of keys clicking was already driving the musical fox crazy, and at the head of the class was a young wolf with glasses.

“I’m in hell aren’t I?” he asked no one in particular.

“Are you new or something?” the wolf asked looking over the roster.

“And here I thought being booked was gonna be bad…” No’sh said while looking the wolf over.

“Huh?” the wolf gave him a strange look.

“No’sh Walker… and no I’m not new, I’ve just been on the run from this purgatory of key strokes and repetitive clicking noises,” he said looking forlornly around the room, “Unfortunately my luck ran out and I was captured by a bear… and not the entertaining kind like at the circus or a gay pride parade.”

“Ok…” the wolf scanned the list, “Your names Nor-“

No’sh lashed out holding the wolf’s lower jaw down, “Don’t ever say that name out loud… I’m like Rumplstiltskin if you say my real name I’ll get pissed off and hurt you.”

The wolf’s eyes changed slightly and he smacked No’sh’s hand away.

“Relax buddy,” No’sh backed up and raised his hands in a non-threatening way, “I don’t wanna fight the great Nate Lupis… I just don’t want the world to know what my mom calls me when she’s pissed.”

“Great huh?” Nate asked with a grin.

“Oh yes greatness abounds when there’s a wolf in town capable of such destruction of Rod and his goons,” No’sh said with a smile, “So great in fact that I’m tempted to give you a little somethin for free.”

“Great first Xavier now this guy…” the wolf said to himself.

No’sh smiled and shook his head, “Not exactly what I meant… unless you wanna that is.”

He sat back on a desk, “I’m not exactly discriminate about gender when it’s cute and fuzzy,” he winked at Nate, “but to tell you the truth I prefer bunnies over bow wows... probably has to do with the predatory nature of this town, I mean most the couples in school are food stuffs to their partners.”

“Ok…” Nate looked at the fox with uncertainty, “You wanna get to work already…”

No’sh thought for a moment or two, “Not really, but it’s not as if I have a choice in the matter… do I?”

“Can’t say that you do,” replied the wolf causing No’sh to let out a sigh and head to an empty computer after draping his guitar case over his back.

“Well this blows…” No’sh thought to himself as he sat down with another sigh, until he noticed a pretty boy bunny in the room, “Maybe I should come to class more often… might be able to take a trip down the rabbit hole…”

His mind wandered for the rest of class and he decided to turn in his work surprising Nate that the only thing typed on the paper was the lyrics to “Let it be.”

On the way out of the room, he nearly ran over another glasses wearing wolf.

“Holy hell it’s a doppelganger!” No’sh jumped back and nearly fell over a few other students including that rabbit he had been watching earlier.

“You ok?” the new wolf asked.

“Don’t take this as being racist or anything but all you wolves look alike to me…” the green fox said as he got to his feet and smiled sheepishly at the students he had collided with, “Sorry about that peoples… false alarm.”

He extended his paw to the wolf in front of him, “No’sh Walker, nice to meet you.”

“My name’s Davy.” The wolf said as he shook No’sh’s paw.

No’sh sat against his locker with his guitar in his lap.

“I look at the floor and see it needs sweeping still my guitar gently weeps…”

Niko came running around a corer and tripped over the musical fox.

“Mellow out bro…” No’sh sat back up and glanced over his guitar for damage, “What’s the rush about anyways?”

“I’m late,” he sprung back to his feet and looked around before sniffing at the air, “I was supposed to meet Zoe before class but she never told me where.”

“So you’re just gonna try and sniff her out?” No’sh asked while gathering up his stuff, “I think you’d be better off looking for her at lunch.”

Niko took one more big sniff before letting out a defeated sigh, “You’re probably right… to many other scents filling the air.”

“Sorry man, I’d help you find her,” he said as he stood up and slung his guitar over his shoulder, “but I prefer to stay outta school before lunch.”

“Then why do you even come?” Niko asked in confusion.

“It’s the law…” No’sh began walking down the hall before smiling back at his friend, “Besides how else am I gonna hang out with my friends or hook up with the lovely ladies and the pretty boys?”

Niko was quiet not really having an answer and slightly creeped out by the pretty boys comment.

“You already know you aren’t my type Niko,” he winked at the white fox, “I prefer more submissive guys or rabbits.”

“Oh no, oh no, oh no…” Zoe ran through the halls towards her class while thinking to herself, “Niko you big dummy, I wanted to ask you about that little fox brat…”

She wasn’t paying attention, lost in thought and in a hurry to get to English class before the bell rang. She failed to notice a silver and gold heading towards the door until they collided.

“Owwie,” Zoe rubbed her head and pouted from where she had landed upside down against the wall with her tail in her face, “What hit me?”

“Sorryaboutthat,” Zoe heard a very rapid voice say and she looked from behind her tail seeing a bird of pray standing over her.

“Don’t eat me! I don’t taste good, I swear it!” Zoe held her tail close again trying to hide from the bird causing him to panic slightly.

“Pleasedon’tscream,calmdownI’mnotgonnahurtyou…” the bird backed away from her to show he wasn’t a threat.

Zoe began to breathe easy after seeing the boy move away from her until she realized how she had landed and that she was in a skirt putting her pink panties on display for anybody that had come to investigate her scream.

“I’m a hard cat to shake, Mr. Foxglove,” Sam said with a smile.

“How the hell do you know that name?” Niko asked, “I haven’t even had it changed in the school records yet.”

Sam pulled a laptop from his backpack and started it up.

“I know everything…” Sam opened up a file marked “school” and a long list of names appeared, many of which Niko had no clue about but he recognized Zoe as well as No’sh’s and his real names.

“What are you some kind of stalker?” he asked with a growl prepared to hurt the leopard if need be.

Sam locked eyes with the fox, “Stalking is such a harsh word, Nikolas. I prefer to think of myself as a biologist or a sociologist studying the physical and psychological aspects of my fellow students.”

“That’s still stalking, you damn red spotted freak!” Niko glared into the red eyes of the leopard as he felt his own pulse red slightly.

“Fascinating…” Sam clicked on Niko’s name causing a file to open which contained pictures of him when he was in the hospital as well as various notes and files that should not have been there, “When angered the subject has the strange trait of red eyes and on rare occasions has been seen to become feral.”

“Where did you get that stuff?” Niko asked forgetting his anger in shock at the things he saw.

“It’s a secret,” Sam closed the laptop and placed it back in his bag.

“You son of a bi-” Niko was prepared to attack when a sweet scent filled his nose.

“Niko, you jerk, I waited for you after every class,” Zoe had a hold of the fox’s arm and was dragging him towards a table, “Why didn’t you show up?”
