Some will do anything in order to gain redemption, while others will wish to be reborn into a new life. There is one person... one trainer that is willing to be give up his old life in order to be reborn. This individual stands now in darkness while an echoing voice that sounds like a mighty deity speaks to him.\n\n\t``I know who you are, young child.'' The voice said to the trainer. ``You are the trainer known as Nicholas, the child who was born innocent but has changed as a person completely because of bad influences from the darkness of the world.''\n\n\t``Who are you? How do you know me?'' Nicholas said to the voice. ``There must be a logical explanation.'' \n\n\t``Allow us to show ourselves... Palkia! Dialga! I summon you!'' said the voice as Palkia and Dialga both appeared simultaneously. Then, the one behind the booming voice finally reveals himself to be Arceus.\n\n\t``Arceus, I've heard stories about you as a small chi-'' Nicholas said before getting cut off by Arceus. \n\n\t``Enough chatter. This is no time for stories, it's time to decide your fate.'' Arceus said to Nicholas. ``But, before I do so... I want you to tell me what happened before you had died on that stormy night.''\n\n\t``It is still in my memory. July 30th, 2017: I was helping out some Team Rocket members transfer some stolen goods, assisting them in dominating the Unova region. As I was walking on the sidewalk in the rain, I noticed a young trainer about to be hit by a car. I had to decide, either continue my work and let the poor trainer get hurt or risk my life in order to save another. I went with my second option... I put down the crate of weapons I was carrying and immediately pushed the young trainer out of the way, saving the trainer's life. However, this action costed me my life and lead to my gruesome death. I was hit by the car and killed, five seconds after the front of the vehicle crashing into me.'' He said to Arceus, finishing his entire story of what had happened that fateful night.\n\n\t``Thank you for telling me, what you have done before you died was a good deed. However, this will not completely make up for the crimes you've committed as a Team Rocket member. After all... you've stolen from others and broke many laws that keep Unova safe. You even embezzled money from others! You turned yourself from a innocent person to an evil human being! You've tainted your own body!'' Arceus shouts greatly with animosity. \n\n\t``Listen, Arceus. I had to work for Team Rocket, I had no choice! I had to help my family get through financial issues and Giovanni offered me a job as a Team Rocket member. I couldn't turn down this job, I was told by him that I would be paid enough to help my family get through bad economical times and even offered to help pay important bills and-'' Nicholas said to Arceus as he was once again cut off. \n\n\t``Stop! You've spoken long enough. Your punishment shall be handed down to you. For the crimes that you've committed, you shall be sent to the Underworld.'' Arceus shouted as his voice echoed for a short time. Nicholas was then surrounded by a purple force field on both sides.\n\n\t``Wait... Hold on! I wish to be reborn into a new life! I will promise to be a better person! Please, Arceus! Don't send me to the Underworld... Have mercy!'' He shouted to Arceus. But nothing worked.\n\n\t``Mercy shall not be granted! Palkia... send him down...'' Arceus commanded. After hearing this command, Palkia's eyes turned red as it roared loudly throughout the darkness and the universe itself. Nicholas's body began to slowly glow purple and sink further into the darkness. But then, two other voices intervened, halting the process as they shouted ``Hold on!''\n\n\t``Who dares interrupt us now?!?'' Dialga asked.\n\n\t``It's us, Jirachi and Celebi!'' The voices said as they revealed themselves.\n\n\t``What are you two doing here?'' Arceus asked them.\n\n\t``I have heard a wish and I am here to grant it...'' Jirachi replied.\n\n\t``I am here to stop this process. Arceus, why are you not willing to not give this human mercy?'' Celebi asked.\n\n\t``This human doesn't deserve mercy! Not with my standards!'' Arceus shouted. ``Jirachi! You shall not be allowed to grant this wish!''\n\n\t``Oh come on, Arceus! This human is really being honest with what he is saying, I just know it! I can hear the truth in his words,'' Celebi argued.\n\n\t``Do you think he's lying?'' Jirachi asked.\n\n\t``Yes! Anyone could say that exact same statement!'' Arceus screamed.\n\n\t``I don't think so! I am certain he really means it. His promise is true and not just a lie!'' Celebi replied. Arceus looked back at Nicholas and stared at him, waiting for a response from him.\n\n\t``I am serious with what I am saying, Arceus. I want to be reborn, I truly do! I want to forever forget the terrible memories of my past. I want to start my life over with a blank slate...'' Nicholas humbly said. \n\n\t\n\n``I believe you now. It looks like you were right, Celebi. He is telling the truth. It's all clear now.'' Arceus said to Celebi as his turned his head towards Nicholas and stared back at him. \n\n\t``I am glad you finally see what I am doing.'' Nicholas said to Arceus. \n\n\t``Now, since you want to be reborn, there is something you must know: when you are finally reborn... you will have to be reborn after the date of your demise. A different year in the future, there is no telling if you will ever see anyone in your family before your death again,'' Arceus said to him.\n\n\t``Alright then. Go ahead.'' Nicholas said, waiting patiently. \n\n\t``Now, before I send you forth... you must choose what you wish to be reborn as, this is the only choice I am giving you. Choose wisely.'' Arceus said to him.\n\n\t``Hmmm, let me think for a moment.'' Nicholas said as he began to think about what Pokemon he wanted to be reborn as. ``Let's see.... What to choose, what to choose. Hmmm.... My choice is a Riolu. A shiny Riolu, preferably,'' Nicholas said to him.\n\n\t``Okay, I shall send you on your way to your new life. Unova is where you shall be reborn, and the year 2139 shall be the year you are reborn into.'' Arceus said to Nicholas. ``Now, close your eyes.'' Nicholas did as he said and closed his eyes.\n\n\t``Now, remain calm and wait while you are transferred to your new life.'' Arceus said.
