Stranded on Earth after the failure of their mission, and recovering from the initiatory shock of being cast out of the heavens, the C.H.E.R.U.B began to consider their options. The common goal was to return to the heavens and plead their case to the Seraphic Court and Sera. With their ability to open the portal to the heavens revoked, they had no choice but to force fate themselves.
Keenie and Cletus decided to pay a visit to human religious institution, with the Vatican being a good start. Surely, God's representative on Earth should have the means to help them.
For his part, Collin has decided to go to hell, his instinct being that he will find some artefact or magic capable of fulfilling this objective. At worst, he could try the Angels' Embassy. With this in mind, the group split up.
Although he had an idea of what to expect, Collin was perhaps too optimistic. As soon as he arrived at the Pride Ring, Collin realised that his task was going to be a nightmare. Days and weeks went by. Dirty, hungry, tired, living on the streets for so long pushed the cherub to the breaking point. Although, his determination and survival instinct kept him going. And one fine day, after much perseverance, Collin saw the end of the tunnel: a way to return to Heaven.
He heard rumours that a Goetia prince had a grimoire that could open portals. Stolas, a name Collin didn't even know, but which spurred him on to try his luck. One evening, he managed to break into the owl prince's palace. He spent part of the evening trying to locate the grimoire… but when he finally found it, it was too late: someone was already in the room. It would have been wiser to turn back, but desperate and so close to his goal, Collin took the risk and ventured into the room. As discreetly as possible, the Cherub approached the grimoire… but the sadness he felt from the Prince distracted him. Collin was divided by the desire to help a soul in distress, and to fulfil his objective and save himself and his friends.
This moment of hesitation caught Stolas' attention. In a panic, Collin grabbed the grimoire and ran… but in his haste, he didn't see the imp butler and collided with it, knocked to the ground, caught by Stolas, and too tired to fight, Collin collapsed from exhaustion.
Although still affected by his failed appointment, the unfortunate presence of this intruder distracted him for a moment. Of course, he recognized Collin as an angel, even though he had lost some of his superb looks after days of wandering the seedy streets of Imp City.
Stolas wasn't sure if this chance encounter had come at the right time or not… but he didn't feel any hostility towards Collin. He was even genuinely interested in him. So much so that Stolas used his grimoire to explore the memory of the fainted cherub.
But the only moments he saw were the Cherub's defeat and his banishment from Paradise. Stolas had no problem connecting the dots, with Collin's presence in his mansion, to the grimoire. And he even felt pity for the angel.
When Collin woke up, he found himself lying in an opulent, luxurious room. And Stolas was waiting in a chair, having spent the evening watching over and observing Collin. During this time, Stolas realised the opportunity of having an angel in his bed, and perhaps a future plaything to replace Blitzo while waiting for their reconciliation.
Collin, for his part, realized that he was naked in bed… but also washed and clean. He noticed the silver tray placed on the table, with food and a drink. Although a bit groggy, Collin didn't detect any malice from Stolas. Collin was wary because he knew how demons were, but in his current situation, he couldn't afford to reject Stolas' apparent hospitality.
Stolas, despite having ulterior motives towards Collin, still tried to be a good host. After allowing Collin to explain himself, Stolas offered him a deal: Collin could stay at the mansion, well-fed and provided for, but in return, he would have to fulfil Stolas' desires for a week or two. And in exchange, Stolas promised he would open a portal to Heaven for him.

Having witnessed Stolas' sadness last night, and his loneliness at the moment, Collin agreed. He had no choice but to trust the owl, while being certain that it was a soul he could save or relieve. He wasn't naive either; he'd spent enough time on the streets to have an idea of the kind of desire demons have.
And so Collin became a guest and servant of a kind of Stolas.
To seal the deal, Stolas made Collin new clothes and spent his days conversing with his new acquisition and attending to his duties as a goetic prince or trying to communicate with Blitzo. Meanwhile, Collin did his best to fulfil his part of the agreement. Collin was surprised at what a good host Stollas is, while Stolas had to admit that Collin's presence was refreshing.
Stolas let the cherub acclimatise for the first few days. Before the serious business began: satisfying Stolas' desire at night. It all starts with foreplay, masturbation, and even fingering. And slowly but surely they fell under each other's spell, even if they weren't entirely sure how they felt, but at least a genuine friendship (with benefits) was established.
Then, when they finally realised their feelings, it was time to end the contract. But… before that, Stolas offered to have one last bit of fun… much to Collin's delight.

But his instinct told him that even if he did, they might not let him visit the Prince. So he stayed with Stolas, enjoying the owl's protection… and its lust.
