Fortunately, while reading the manga, I found a rather interesting chapter where we learn that the Gods of Destruction had a old grudge towards Beerus for having felt asleep during a Hide-and-Seek organized by Zen'o . For 50 years.
This information was dropped during a battle royal between the Gods, and they didn't prevent themselves from ganging Beerus.This picture is inspired from this chapter.
The fighting have ended, little by little the Gods of Destructions had left, followed by the Zen'os. Yet, it was far from being over : before the end, Quitela proposed a deal to Liquiir, a deal that should take effect no matter who would win this battle royal. Fortunately for them, odds were with them this time.
The Arena being almost empty, Quitela took this opportunity to stop Beerus and trash-talk him, even defying him to another fight. If the trash-talk didn't really work on Beerus, this one failed to see the scheme behind it, the stalling of the Mouse. And accepted the fight, seeing a good opportunity to settle score with Quitela.
So, dismissing Whiss and Shin, it was in the almost empty arena that the Quitela and Beerus fought, without really paying attention to their surrounding... not even Liquiir coming while the Grand-Priest was leaving.
Well, Beerus did noticed the Grand-Priest's departure and was... rather taken aback by it. Liquiir requested the Grand-Priest to use the arena on a private match, thing he accepted. Leaving Beerus alone with two fellow God.
And it was at this moment that Beerus knew, he fucked up. Managing to neutralize the Cat with a nicely placed energy blade under Beeus' throat, menacing to behead him as Liquiir moved the Cat on position, under the pleased smile of Quitela.
The deal was simple : Liquiir helps Quitela to have his way with Beerus, and in return Quitela would allow the Fox to pick one of his universe 4's fighters for himself. Even if he doesn't know them yet, Liquiir had a little idea of the kind of people living Quitela's universe.
Anyway now that Beerus was immobilized, this one could only see the Mouse tearing apart his blue trousers as he undressed himself.
