Amanda Watts joined the 2006's Twisted Metal tournament and is the driver of her custom formula indy race car named, Twister. Amanda has a deadly obsession with high-speed vehicles. Bored with everyday cars, she is always searching for a faster ride. If she wins the Twisted Metal tournament, she'll ask Calypso to send her racing past the speed of light. But what will she discover when she gets there? This excites Amanda, getting her blood pumping.
"They say there's a place you can only get to by driving a certain speed. It's a place where time and space explode into another world. That's my goal. I want to find that place. When I win Twisted Metal, Calypso's giving me the road map.". Amanda said as she clinches her fist, wait for the first match to begin. She sweeps her eyes across what was left of Los Angeles, the Quake Zone Rumble, their battlefield for the day. The city stands in ruins after the previous 2005’s Twisted Metal contest with smoldering buildings and creaked roads.
The alarm goes off for the match to begin. Amanda’s eyes shoot forward as she grips the wheel, her foot hits the pedal as her tires screeching be for Twister to blaze off into the battlefield at high speeds. Amanda was able to put a few notches on her belt before tragedy struck when she was hit in the right shoulder by a stray bullet. This made controlling Twister harder at high speeds with only the use of her left arm, but this was not going to slow her down. Amanda took her left hand off of the wheel to fire up Twister’s turbo, she flicks some switches to pull out a pair of twin jets that helps Twister to do her “Tornado Spin”.
This makes Twister spins at high speeds that picks up other vehicles and swings them around. Getting many cars in her path, catching them in the vortex and slamming them against buildings and other obstacles before being flung away. After a bit into this, Amanda lost control of Twister and was tossed into the air. She watched Twister slammed into a wall, exploding into a balls of fire as she flys in the air. Amanda closed her eyes and waited for the end.
She was awakened by birds chirping and her siting in Twister. She was still in the ruins of Los Angeles but all of the other contestants are gone. Amanda then could feel something watching her, she looked up to see a large anthro wolf looking down onto her from on atop of Twister. Amanda puts up her arms to defend herself but she finds her right arm is no longer in pain and is healed. The wolf asks if she is ok. Amanda nods with out saying anything, she can even see that the visor of her helmet was fixed as well. The wolf tells her his name is RJ Oakes and that he was the one that patched her up.
Amanda climbs out of Twister and tells RJ her name is Amanda Watts, but as soon as her feet hit the ground. She drops to her hands, she was weak and her mind is foggy. She pulls herself up. RJ tells her that she has been out for about a week now and needs to rest. Amanda smirks and gets up on Twister, she starts to unzips her suit to show off her naked body to RJ. Amanda said she lives fast and most likely will die young. She then smiles up at him and tells him that there is no rest for the wicked. She waves the beasts over to her, asking RJ to joins her on Twister so they can "ride" the day out.
