Shredder's and Foot's place was huge and high building and Leo couldn't get his eyes off of it when he was helped in by 2 Foot ninja while being right behind of their master, Shredder.

"Name's Miya. I have been here almost a year or so now, as one of the medics." Her gaze went back on Leo's wound when she tied it. "There was a time when many medics were needed in here since Master Shredder's enemies gave his men a lot of troubles and injuries. Day after day so they needed care."

His enemies? She must meant Leo and his brothers so Leo decided to keep his mouth shut and not ask about it. Instead she sat still and watched her working until she was done.

"Okay, you're now fixed. I still recommend you to take it ease for couple of days at least, okay?"

Leo stood on his feet and nodded still keeping his eyes on her.

"Why... didn't you freak out when I was thrown in here? I'm not a human."

Her eyes grew a bit before she laughed a little.

"Should I have freak out? It does more than seeing a mutant turtle, who talks, to freak me out. There's many more crazy things out there. Plus Master Shredder's a... brain looking alien so..." That smile kept staying on her face as Leo's face went long. She knew how Shredder looked like?!

"How do you know that?!"

"I've seen him. He have had injuries and I have took care of him. No matter how he looks like, he's still my master and he has been good to me so I do what I can for him."

Leo listened silently as his mind worked analyzing her words and he suddenly understood her. His own father had been mutant rat and he never hadn't found it weird or anything. She had the same thing with Shredder... Leo thanked her as he bowed but when he was doing his leaving, her voice stopped him.

"Uh, sir, I didn't hear your name. Could you, please, tell me who are you."

"Leonardo. Shortly just Leo."

"I would like that. I will ask someone to give me your room's location so I come to see your wounds tomorrow."

Leo's only reply was a simple nod as he left, closing the door behind him while his heart kept racing in his chest. Why, why, why, why? What the heck was going on?

Leonardo had been given a freedom to walk around in his new home and look around as long as he didn't go in a lab or in Shredder's room and some other rooms what were other persons rooms. Walking around with his sore body was slow but he could study this place and put every detail in his mind just in case.

At the door what lead to Shredder's office those 2 ninjas stopped letting Leo walk past them and closing the door behind him. His steps stopped only right at Shredder's table while he sat on his chair on another side.

"So what is the mission, Master?"

"Hmh, eager to know it? Good. If you're as eager to do your job, there won't be any problems between us."

Shredder opened a folder and showed Leo a photo which made his heart stop beating for a few seconds as his breathing got stuck in his throat. With trembling hands he took that photo in his hands and paper with it.

"W-what do you want me to do with him? He's dead."

Shredder leaned forward crossing his fingers and once again Leo could feel that evil smirk behind the mask.

Leo did as he was told and it seemed to be some sort of genealogy but what confused him was the fact that some names had been destroyed with red marker.

Leo said nothing more as he bowed to Shredder in defeat, leaving. When the door closed behind him once more, second elite ninja went after him and soon walked past him escorting Leo to his own room. It was not too big nor too small and the walls were quite dark and right wall was covered with huge window and red long curtains, revealing beautiful view to the city. Door opened slowly which made Leo look at the light's direction what shined from the hallway and he was surprised to see Miya standing there. Leo jumped on his feet when she closed the door and came standing right in front of him as his heart started to race again.

"I had to came to see you. I couldn't wait to tomorrow. Please forgive me."

Leo launched himself toward Shredder who easily dodged and tackled Leo, placing his foot on Leo's head, pressing it hard enough to make Leo growl in pain.

"Make yourself ready, turtle. Thanks to this you will leave to Japan tomorrow."

After a while Shredder moved his foot and left, this elite ninja standing once more at the door way keeping his eyes on Leo who broke in hard cry hiding his face against the floor.

His new gear was placed on his night table while he rested on the bed, smelling the scent of Miya's hair from his pillow. It took a lot of time before Leo finally turned so exhausted and fell asleep, tears on his cheeks.

In the morning he was forced to wear his new gear and at first it look and felt ridiculous but this elite ninja had convinced him otherwise. Leo looked at himself from the mirror and he didn't know how he should had react on his mirror image.

He had knee high boots which had Foot's mark at the front on the knees, blue fabric stripes wrapped around his thighs on top of these black pants. Brown belts went on his hip and chest, holding another scabbard behind his ass while other was on his back. He also wore bandages on his arms all the way to elbow and covered them with black gloves with 3 bigger spikes. Before leaving his room Leo took his new katanas placing them in their scabbards and this wooden rosary Leo put around his left ankle. Looking at it made him feel a bit better since it was his father's, Splinter's, rosary what Leo had took with him before leaving the lair.

Walking to elevator what took him all the way down to front door, where Shredder and this one elite ninja waited, Leo felt how his anger started to rise when he saw Shredder but when he saw 2 familiar bandannas on his hand, Leo stopped with wide eyes.

"These are for you, Leonardo. Thought them to give you motivation to fulfill this task."

Leo stepped closer taking those orange and purple bandannas in his hands, trembling. I-it was definitely Mike's and Don's bandannas... His eyes rose to meet Shredders and again he could feel that evil smile on Shredder's face.
