The perfect kind of day to just sit back, relax... and stalk prey. A lone Decidueye stood perched in the treetops, scanning the ground below for any potential meals. Her efforts had been fruitless so far, but the day was still young. With a little luck she may even get a meal in before... "Hiiii!" a Swellow rang cheerfully as she flew up to join the Decidueye. "Hello, Swellow." the Decidueye responded, not even bothering to look at her. "Aw, why so glum? You're not still sore about me beating you yesterday are you?" the Swellow asked. "Of course not. Just trying to locate our next quarry." the Decidueye replied, keeping her eyes glued to the ground. "Well that's good, for a moment I thought my winning streak had put you a bad mood." the Swellow teased. "I hope you're ready to eat those words, because that's all you'll be eating today." the Decidueye responded, a slight smile curling at the edges of her beak. Their exchange may have sounded harsh, but in reality they were the best of friends. They met a few years ago, when the Swellow first migrated to the forest. They had become fast friends, but also fierce rivals. They were constantly trying to out-hunt each other, and prove that they were the alpha predator. The Swellow had been on a bit of a winning streak recently, but the Decidueye had plans to change that. She had been training hard to improve her speed, while the Swellow grew fat and sluggish on prey. Today would be the day she would win. But first she needed to spot some prey. As fortune would have it, she noticed some rustling in the bushes below. "Rattata, 2 O'clock." the Decidueye stated. "Oh, mine!" the Swellow declared before diving from the tree. "Not if I get him first!" the Decidueye retorted, following suit. ****** A Rattata ambled along the forest floor, enjoying the sights and smells of a seemingly peaceful day. He was pulled from his pleasant stroll by a loud chirping and screeching coming from behind him. He turned around to see what the commotion was. His ears drooped and his pupils shrank in terror as he beheld a Swellow and a Decidueye diving straight towards him. He scampered for his life as his survival instincts shot into high gear. The chase was on! Both the Swellow and the Decidueye were in hot pursuit of the fleeing Rattata, who darted between plants and weaved through bushes in an attempt to throw off the hunters. They were persistent though, keeping a sharp eye on their prey as they raced through the thick forest foliage. The Decidueye's training seemed to be paying off. She had managed to gain the lead and was within talon's reach of the Rattata. She stretched out her claws, preparing to snatch up the tasty rodent, when the Swellow suddenly body checked her from the side, sending her careening into a nearby bush. "Oops, pardon me." the Swellow feigned an apology, before continuing after their quarry. The Decidueye shook off her daze, spitting a few leaves from her beak. So that's how it was going to be? Well two could play at that game. The Rattata continued to run for his life, adrenaline fueling his tiny body forward. That was way too close for comfort. He had gotten lucky, but he wasn't out of the woods yet. The Swellow was still hot on his tail, and he had no desire to become the bird's next meal. He continued to speed through the forest, hoping to escape the hungry predator, but to no avail. He was starting to tire out. His limbs ached and his lungs burned as his pace began to slow. He took a look back to see the Swellow closing in on him. This was it; He was doomed; He shut his eyes in despair, waiting for the talons of death to take him. ****** The Swellow felt a little bad about how rough she was with the Decidueye, but all was fair in love and war. She couldn't dwell on it now; She had to keep an eye on the desperately fleeing Rattata. It was difficult to keep up with the quick little rodent, but she persisted, knowing that he would have to tire out eventually. Surely enough, the Rattata's speed started to slow, and she began gain on him. Finally she was within reach of the delicious little morsel. It looked like she would win again... ****** The Decidueye soared above the forest canopy, watching the game of bird and mouse below. It was difficult to keep track of the duo through the treetops, but her keen eyesight and hearing allowed her to keep tabs on them. It seemed the Rattata was starting to tire out and Swellow was gaining on him. It was time to put her speed to the test. She swooped down towards the Rattata in a swift nose dive, prepared to snatch her prize right from under the Swellow's claws. It wasn't until the very last moment that she realized she had over estimated her own skill... She crashed head-long into the Swellow, sending the two tumbling across the forest floor in a flurry of feathers and dirt. The Decidueye finally came to a halt, completely dazed from the sudden impact. She heard muffled cries of distress from the Swellow, and felt something thrashing around inside her stomach. At first she assumed that it was the Rattata unhappily churning away within her gut, and that the tumble had merely left her on top of the Swellow. But as she began to recover from her daze, she quickly realized that wasn't the case. The first this she noticed was that her stomach felt full, far fuller than any Rattata could make her feel. The second thing was that she was not on top of the Swellow, in fact the bright feathered bird was nowhere to be seen. Finally she noticed the massive bulge of her stomach; It was nearly half her size and wiggling with fresh prey. It couldn't be... could it? She let out a small unexpected belch, sending a plume of feathers flying from her beak. Oh dear... She focused her hearing on the muffled cries coming from her swollen gut. They were definitely those of the missing Swellow. "Well that's... interesting." the Decidueye commented. "Decidueye? Is that you? Where are you? What happened?" the Swellow bombarded her with questions. "Now don't panic, but it seems I may have accidentally eaten you." the Decidueye explained. "You did what?!" the Swellow shot back in shock. "Well at least now we know who the superior predator is." the Decidueye teased. "Ha ha, very funny." the Swellow replied, hardly amused "Now hurry up and get me out of here! I think your stomach is starting to digest me!" she demanded. "Okay, I'll try." the Decidueye responded. She leaned forward, settling on her stomach bulge. She began to dry heave, attempting to cough up her friend and after a few attempts, her stomach growled in protest. "I think I feel something coming u-ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP!" the Decidueye broke into a massive belch. The burp released a lot of air, but no Swellow. The Decidueye sat back on her rear, exhausted from the attempt. "Sorry, it looks like you're stuck in there." the Decidueye stated. "What?!" the Swellow shouted "Please tell me you're joking!" "I'm afraid not. You're just too big to cough up." the Decidueye replied. "We'll just see about that!" the Swellow said, once again thrashing about in an attempt to coax the stomach into releasing her. The Decidueye moaned in delight at the unexpected pleasure she was getting from this. She never imagined that being so completely filled could feel this good. And the Swellow's struggles only escalated the experience, acting as a pleasant internal massage for the Decidueye. "You know, maybe this isn't such a bad thing." the Decidueye panted. "How do you figure?" the Swellow inquired. "You feel so wonderful squirming around in there, I think I'll keep you. Besides, I bet you'll make a cute little layer of fat around my waistline." the Decidueye explained. "You can't be serious!" the Swellow shouted in disbelief "Let me out of here!" "I already told you, I can't. So just accept your fate, and relax." the Decidueye replied, here tone clouded over with lust. She didn't hear any of what the Swellow said after that; She was too lost in the sea of ecstasy her prey's struggles were giving her. She reached down with her wings, and rubbed over her gurgling gut, feeling every kick and squirm of her digesting friend. BUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRP! She released another thunderous belch, carrying a hint of the Swellow's taste up with it. This was so much more satisfying than settling for measly Rattatas. Maybe she should make a regular habit of this. She lied back and closed her eyes, basking in the wonderful sensation of her working gut. The constant gurgling and churning of her stomach as it digested its contents served as a soothing lullaby, slowly whisking the Decidueye off to peaceful slumber. The next morning, the Decidueye awoke feeling relaxed and refreshed. She looked down to inspect her now quiet gut. While the bulge in her stomach was nearly gone, he belly had increased considerably in size. She reached down and pinched the new layer of pudge around her waist. It was soft, warm, and added nicely to her figure. It was hard to believe that just a few hours ago, that fat had been her friend. She did not mourn the loss of the Swellow though. It didn't truly feel like she was got; If fact, she felt closer than ever.
