Jentar is a human Pokemon trainer who came from Blackthorn City. He came to a 
renowned Pokemon university to study and to get a fresh start. On afternoon in the weekend, he 
decided to take a walk in one of the university’s forests alone to let his pokemon rest and play. 

 He knows the usual path in traversing the forest and was well aware of the pokemon in 
and around the area since he has travelled these woods a few times now, in the path, it travels 
into a cave system but it was never easy to get lost in there since it’s basically a tunnel. But upon 
entering the tunnel, Jentar noticed a peculiar pokemon that he knows isn’t indigenous to the 
surroundings. It was standing upright and having sciurine morphology. It was greyish white with 
a purple belly and tail. It was no doubt, Mewtwo. But before Jentar could react, the enigmatic 
pokemon disappear in the darkness of the cave. Jentar sighed at the missed opportunity but soon 
shrugged it off and continues on his journey. 

 He enters the second part of the forest after passing through the tunnel where he noticed 
something. Pokemon tracks, with his skill, we easily identified the pokemon as not being 
indigenous to the surrounding region, so he decided to follow it. The trail led him deeper into the 
forest. After following the trail for some time, he came across four different pokemon, a dark 
coloured snake, a green coloured python and a giant purple cobra, and the last was a pokemon 
that looked like a human but had green coloured hair that floats. The four were talking among 
each other in human speech. Curious, he stayed hidden in the bushes and see how it will turn out, 
he thought that since they knew how to speak human language, then these must be trained 
pokemon, and not only that, well train pokemon. 

 After listening for a short time, he figured out that the foursome were searching for 
something, and not only that, but also arguing among each other. A giant green snake with a 


whitish green underbelly, who happens to be a Serperior, said that a special plant is said to be 
somewhere in the eastern part of the forest while the huge cobra who he identified as Arbok said 
that it should be where they were now. The other two were also debating whether to go back 
since it was getting late or push on to get the job done. 

 After listening to them argue for some time, Jentar decided that he couldn’t stand them 
bickering and revealed himself to offer his help since he knew the forest like the back of his 
palm. 

 “Um, afternoon ladies” Jentar said politely, “I happen to notice that you’re on the verge 
of civil war, ehehe... 

 The dark colored snake, Seviper, retorted, “oh, and who are you, Mr. Hyperbole?” But

 “Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you,” apologized Jentar, “I just overheard your 
conversation and well, from what I can tell, it is you who are lost” 

 Gardevoir said in a levelled voice, “yeah... we are. We were sent on an errand to look for 
a special plant that could A’s illness, but so far, we haven’t gone anywhere” Jentar offered to 
lend them a hand, “well, I know the place very well and we could find this plant to heal your 
master!” 


 “Oh, he doesn’t like to be called master by his pokemon” Arbok suddenly said with a 
smile. 

 “Oh, then he mustn’t really be a good trainer then,” Jentar joked (it is tradition that 
trainers make their pokemon address them as “master”). This made the group with the exception 
of Seviper look rather uncomfortable. “oh, I’m sorry, it was a joke.” He apologized. 

 Gardevoir explained, “well, the thing is, we views us as equals and treats us much like he 
would treat fellow humans”. 

 “Oh, I see, well, if we start now, we could get be able to find the plant you’re looking for 
by sundown.” Jentar said. “we’ll split into groups to cover more ground, is that fine?” 

 “Seems like a good idea”, agreed Gardevoir. “I can go with that”, concurred Arbok. 

 Seviper said she works better alone, but the others said it would be safe to go out in 
groups than being alone, but she declined their offer. 

 “I’ll go with you” Serperior suggested Jentar. “Uh, sure, why not?” Jentar said. And in a 
after setting a rendezvous point and time, they set off in the directions Jentar suggested for them 
to take. 

 Something was troubling Jentar, it was the actions of Serperior. Why would a pokemon 
freely choose a complete and random stranger’s company instead of her own group, these 
thoughts ran through his mind and he and Serperior walked into the forest. 

 To break the awkward silence between the two, Jentar opened up, “so, what is the plant 
we’re looking for?” he inquired. Serperior replied that it’s a rather uncommon plant that grows in 


these regions. She went on to say that the plant has bright green leaves and yellow stripes and 
that she and her party were luckily passing by the region when A got sick. 

 While hiking through the forest the two came across a clearing gleaming with bright 
green leaves. They found the plants that they were looking for. Jentar picked up a few leaves and 
asked Serperior if there were the plants that they were looking for. Serperior takes a sniff, and 
confirms it. 

 Jentar smiled and collected a few of the plants and kept them inside his pack. Serperior 
thanked him for his help and smiled at him. She went on into suggesting that they relax a bit 
since there is still a lot more time before they were scheduled to meet with the others. 

 “Are you hungry?” She asked Jentar. 

 “Um... no, not really, I just ate” he said. 

 “Well, I’d like to have a snack, I haven’t eaten since breakfast and we’ve been searching 
all day”. Jentar offered her some berries he had but she declined. “I’m a snake, silly,” she 
laughed, “I’m a carnivore, you know!”

 “Um, well, I’m not really that skilled in hunting though, sorry” Jentar said. Serperior 
giggled, “it doesn’t necessarily pokemon only” she smiles at Jentar. 

 Suddenly, Jentar knew exactly why Serperior chose him to be her partner. “Uh... is this 
where I think it’s going?” he asked nervously. 


 Serperior said “well, we could go for a hunt, or we could settle on the sure thing” She
