  "description": "Giving my friend a bit of a crash course on drawing and I drew this\nI actually gave him a lot more materials to work with but here's my application of it to a furry really \nThe way I learned anatomy is by drawing humans through the Loomis method (ie 8 heads proportions)\nThere's probably better ways to learn anatomy and proportion and really you should do gesture forms and perspective first if anything but... hey like as a kid I skipped straight to anatomy too cuz it's the most interesting part of drawing\n\nGenerally though yeah I just use the good ol 8 heads tall anatomy guide. the head is like... a head tall\nThe legs are like half the height of the whole body and are like 4 heads tall. And the rest inbetween the two is the torso. I don't really always use it but I use the notable parts about that proportion wise as more of a guide really. Yknow like...\n-The arms are about as long as the torso\n-halfway down the arms is the elbow\n-legs are always longer than the torso\n-halfway down the legs is the knee\n-the crotch is the halfway point of the body\netc etc\nI'll be the first to admit tho that if you don't know how to draw shit in 3d space in the first place then your arts not really gonna improve by all that much. But hey if you can somewhat do that and keep working on it as you learn anatomy, the only real anatomy you'd need to know is the proportions stuff and you can just treat everything as boxes and cylinders. When you got that down then suddenly your arts gonna be surprisingly more anatomically correct for sex than it used to be.",
