", "writing": "[center]That Special Boy[/center]\n\n Alex admired his body as he posed in the mirror. The jaguar's well developed muscles cut pleasing groves into the big cat's hide. His spots helped him look sleek despite his bulk. The 24 year old had just gotten out of college and was looking forward to a summer spent as a counselor at a boot camp for troubled kids. Alex had learn a lot of child psychology and teaching in college. The jaguar had other ideas for the use of the knowledge than helping the kids tho. Sure if it helped some he was not opposed but the big cat was more interested in his own goals. The big cat moved around his bed room and got dressed in shorts. It was spring time still a month and a half till the cubs got out of school which gave him time. \n Alex went for a run around the local park. He wanted to keep in shape but he also had his eye on a certain silver grey house cat. The boy was a loner, he walked home through the park everyday. The boy always had his head down looking at the ground as he walked. Alex figured he had to be no more than 10 or 11. \n Alex had followed the boy home from school for a week and knew where the boy lived. He had spied on them all. The boys parents were a mess, the dad was a drunk and mom was a slut and spent time in many other beds. The boy had self esteem issues for sure. \n The jaguar jogged day after day looking for an opportunity.He could have figured out a way to just abduct the boy. Alex wanted more than that tho he wanted to get in the boy's head and get to boy to trust him. It was a different kind of challenge and one he would need come summer time. He wanted to get the kitten to come to his place of his own free will. Alex had a kink that the boy would be perfect for. \n\n Today the big cat saw an opportunity. The kitten was trudging through the park as usual when 3 slightly older cubs cornered him by a fence. The boy tried to hurry past them but got surrounded by them on 3 sides with the fence at his back. The leader of the other boys, a stocky, pudgy bulldog , had grabbed the kitten's phone an was going through it. The boy tried to grab for it a few times but the bull dog just pushed him back into the fence each time. The other two boys, a badger and a mutt were laughing and taunting the kitten. The boy was obviously distressed and the jaguar could hear desperation in his voice. \n\n Alex got low to the ground and snuck up behind the three older boy's as only a predator cat could. He rose up behind the bull dog and the kitten saw him and fell down against the fence in shock and fear. Alex roared loudly and grabbed the bulldog by the scruff of his neck. All three boy's startled and jumped at the jaguar's roar. The bulldog dropped the phone and the mutt took off yelping as fast as he could. The badger true to his kind saw the cat and started backing away snarling and growling. The boy stumbled a bit then fell over backwards as Alex grabbed the bulldog by his belt and lifted the boy easily and threw him at the badger. \n Both boys jumped up, the bulldog saw Alex now and yelped in fright. \n \"Get lost and stop picking on people.'' Alex shouted at the boys as they turned tail and fled. The big cat scanned the park area, there was no one else in sight for the moment. He bent down and picked up the boys phone and turned to him. The kitten was sitting on the ground with his knees to his chest and his arms around his head in a ball. The boy was trembling a little as Alex came over and squatted down next to him.\n \"Hey bud I think this is yours.'' The jaguar said softly holding out the phone. The boy peeked out at Alex and made a mewing sound and reached out for his phone. \n \"I'm Alex.'' The big cat said sitting on the ground next to the boy when he took the phone. The boy brought his phone in close and trembled not looking at Alex.\n \"Don't worry I won't bite'' He continued. \"What's your name?'' It was several moments before the boy mumbled something that Alex did not catch.\n \"Ah yes mrrrph.'' The jaguar said mimicking the boy. \"That's a lovely name.'' He said jovially. \n \"So mrrrph are you ok?'' Alex asked with a straight face staring out into the park waiting. The boy took the bait and looked up at Alex.\n \"I'm Miles.'' The boy said clearly this time. Alex turned and smiled his heart skipping a beat. The boy had lovely blue eyes and was gorgeous close up. This was the first time the jaguar had had a chance to see the boy close up. The boy had the body yes but he had never gotten a good look at the face till now. Alex was thrilled, I must have him the big cat thought to himself. His groin twanged in anticipation but Alex focused back in he was not home free yet. \n \"Well hello Miles.'' He said with a smile. \"So who were those jerks?'' He asked waving a paw in the direction the other boys had fled. \n \"They goto my school.'' The boy shrugged. \"They always pick on me.'' He said softly a little anger creeping into his voice. \n \"I'm sorry to hear that.'' Alex said. \"You should work out, then they might think twice about bothering you'' He finished flexing his arms for the boy. \n The kitten shrugged again and stood up realizing that he was safe for the moment. Alex did a handstand from the ground and pushed himself straight up then flipped and landed on his feet. He grinned at the boy. \n \"How about that?'' Alex asked. \"It's also good for impressing the ladies.'' He told the boys in a conspirator whisper. \n\n \"Oh'' The kitten replied thinking. \"I don't think I could do that.'' He said as he started walking. \n\n \"Sure you could. It comes natural to cats.'' Alex told him following the boy for a few steps. \n\n \"If you want I could teach you.'' Alex said. \n\n \"I gotta go now.'' The boy said hesitating for a moment before continuing on. \n\n \"Well if you change your mind I run in the park all the time.'' Alex called after the boy watching him walk off. \n\n Alex paced around his gym trying to think of ways to get closer to the boy. He wanted the boy to come willingly. He had made a good start and maybe tempted the boy he was sure. The boy needed a friend that was very evident to the big cat. Alex thought through many different scenarios. He wanted to be ready for anything. He would have this boy he thought to himself. He could not rush it he would be patient.\n\n The jaguar went to the park the next day and jogged past the boy on his way home. \n\n \"Hey Miles.'' He said as he jogged past. The boy did not respond and Alex ran on. The big cat did not give up he continued the next day and the next. It took a week but the boy finally said hi back. Alex fake tripped in shock and tumbled into the grass.\n\n \"I don't believe it. He speaks!'' Alex said dramatically flailing about. He saw the ghost of a smile cross the boy's face as he hopped back up and brushed himself off.\n\n \"How are you doing today?'' Alex asked the kitten. \n\n \"I dunno, the same.'' The boy said and shrugged his shoulders.\n\n \"Aw that's rough dude. Sorry to hear that.'' Ales said sympathetically. \"You wanna run? Whenever I feel down I run. It helps clear the mind and makes you feel great.'' Alex offered running in place. The boy had been peeking up at the jaguar with his wonderful blue eyes that made the big cat shiver. The boy shook his head tho and lowered his head and started walking again. \n\n \"Ok, I hope things get better.'' Alex told him as he jogged off. It was frustrating but thrilling at the same time he thought to himself. The boy would be his he would catch him in the end. He was getting through slowly.\n\n The boy said a few more things the next day and the next day. It took a week but the boy had a whole conversation with him. \n\n Alex jugged up to the boy and said his customary \"Hi Miles''. The boy used the big cats name for the first time today tho. He actually looked up at the jaguar and said.\n\n \"Hi Alex.'' Alex stopped and walked next to the kitten.\n\n ``You seem happier today bud,'' Alex said pleasantly. The boy gave his typical shrug.\n\n ``I guess.'' He replied.\n\n ``Sweet so how's school still crappy?'' The big cat asked. The boy nodded giving a frown. \n\n ``Well are those 3 bullies leaving you alone still?'' Alex asked the boy. \n\n ``Yeah mostly.'' Miles replied brushing the hair out of his face. \n\n ``Well that's good. We must have scared them good.'' The jaguar said with a smile. \n\n ``That was you.'' The boy replied staring up at Alex with his bright blue eyes. The jaguars green eyes twinkled as he laughed.\n\n ``Well I could not have done it if you had not distracted them for me.'' Alex told the boy. The kitten shook his head and looked down again. \n\n ``So did you get to watch that Humantopia movie last night?'' The jaguar asked. The boy looked back up at him his eyes sparkling a little, he had a grin on his face.\n\n ``Yeah it was pretty cool.'' The boy said and Alex smiled and nodded. \n\n ``I saw it too it was pretty funny to have hairless house apes as the characters.'' Alex said with a grin. Alex fed the boy some lines from the movie and got a giggle from the kitten at one point. They walked in silence for few moments after that. \n\n ``So any plans for the summer?'' Alex asked breaking the silence. The kitten shrugged.\n\n ``I dunno.''He said. \n\n ``Not making any plans with your friends?'' Alex asked glancing at the boy. The big cat realized he made a mistake when the boy's face fell and he looked down at the ground again. \n\n ``Hey Miles, I'm sorry I did not mean to upset you.'' Alex said crouching down and gently taking the boy's arm to stop him. The boy heaved a sigh and mumbled. \n\n ``I know it can be hard to make friends but you're likeable.'' Alex told him lifting his chin so the boy looked at him. \n\n ``No, people don't like me.'' The kitten said sadly his eyes misting up.\n\n ``Hey I'm your friend yeah? I like you. I can't be the only one'' Alex told the boy. The kitten sniffed and rubbed the back of his hand over his eye. \n\n ``Look Ill help you bud, you just need a little confidence to put yourself out there.'' He told the boy. \n\n ``People who put you down are just jerks and just don't like themselves really.'' Alex continued as they started walking again. \n\n ``They need to put others down to feel good about themselves.'' He told the boy who seemed to be listening. \n\n ``It can be hard but if you can ignore them and just be you you will end up winning and they will lose.''The big cat continued. \n\n``What?'' The kitten responded. They finished the walk in the park with Alex explaining more to the kitten. The boy was in at least his normal mood when he left and the big cat felt like he dodged a bullet there. \n\n That next Monday Alex finally reached his goal. The boy was late for his trip home and the big cat was worried. He was sitting on a bench when the boy finally came into view. The kitten had his head down and did not respond to Alex's greeting. The boy was going to pass by him when the jaguar reached out and touched the boy's arm. \n\n ``Hey Miles are you ok bud?'' Alex asked softly. The boy glanced at him briefly but it was enough for the big cat to see that his eye was bruised. \n\n ``That looks like it hurts.'' Alex said concerned. The boy mumbled miserably and shrugged and took a couple of steps but Alex crouched down in front of him so he could look up at the boy. \n\n ``What happened?'' He asked. Miles opened his mouth but then shut it and closed his eyes and shook his head. \n\n ``Hey common and sit down and tell me, maybe I can help. I can at least listen.'' He said guiding the sniffling kitten to the bench. \n\n It took some more encouraging but the kitten did tell Alex about an older boy who punched him. He had been trying to pass a note to someone he liked when the older boy intercepted it and had read it. \n\n ``Well that sucks but you got a crush on a girl huh?'' Alex asked glancing at the boy. The kitten did not respond. ``or a boy?'' The big cat said a moment later. Miles made a noise and looked down. So that was a yes Alex thought to himself.\n\n ``Hey its ok bud like who you want. You're quite handsome ya know I am sure tons of guys would like you.'' The jaguar said patting him on the shoulder looking out around the park. The boy sat silently for a few moments then mumbled a question. \n\n ``What was that?'' Alex asked lowering his voice and slouching down to get his ear closer. \n\n ``Do you really think I'm handsome?'' Miles asked him nervously.\n\n ``Well heck yeah, Look all you need is to workout some and get a little confidence and you'd have guys falling over themselves to be with you.'' Alex told him confidently. The boy blushed and looked at the ground again. He was silent for a few moments then said quietly. \n\n ``I'd just like the jerks to stop picking on me.'' \n\n ``Yeah that would be a good thing. It seems like there are lots of jerks around sometimes.'' Alex said watching a couple of skate boarders across the way. \n\n The kitten sat back and put his feet on the bench and pulled his kneess to his chest. \n\n ``I don't know how to work out.'' The boy said staring into the distance. Alex smiled to himself here was his moment. \n\n ``Well I could teach you some things.'' Alex said with a thrill of excitement shooting though him. He took a breathe got to ease into it. \n\n ``I am gonna teach a whole bunch of students this summer at camp'' The big cat continued nonchalantly.\n\n ``But I am kinda nervous about it.'' Alex confessed leaving it hang there. \n\n ``Why are you nervous?'' The kitten asked looking up at Alex. Alex glanced over at the boy. \n\n ``Oh well I have never done that before. I may make a fool of myself.'' The jaguar said worriedly. The boy nodded and started to look down again when Alex interjected.\n\n ``Hey maybe you could like grade me and tell me how I do.'' The boy looked back up into the jaguars pleading green eyes. Alex tried to look nervous and suppressed a shiver the boy had no idea how cute he really was. Alex's heart skipped a beat when the boy nodded with a tiny smile and said ok. The big cat was jumping for joy inside he was almost there. \n\n ``Well great.'' Alex said with a smile. He stared out into the park pretending to be thinking. ``There's the rec center but it costs money. And there are tons of people about. I would not want them to see me if I was being foolish.'' Alex said musing he glanced at the boy who was just staring at him. \n\n ``We could use my gym I suppose'' He mused. ``That way no one would laugh at us if we messed up.'' He finished looking at the kitten. \n\n ``What do you think?'' He asked the boy. Miles nodded and said.\n\n ``I don't like it when people laugh at me.''\n\n ``Ok then my place.We could start this weekend if you like.''Alex said with a smile. \n\n ``Yeah.'' The boy said. Alex borrowed a pen from the boy and wrote down his address. The boy f0lded up the paper and shoved it in his pocket. They sat side by side for a few long moments silently staring out into the park.\n\n ``So tell me about this guy you have a crush on.'' Alex said brightly. \n\n ``Oh'' The kitten squeaked and put his face in his knees again. \n\n ``Hey common you can tell me I'm your friend I wont laugh at you.'' Alex said to the boy reassuringly. \n\n ``He's a cat too.'' Miles began nervously. Even tho the world was becoming more accepting the kitten had still been picked on for liking guys. \n\n ``Sweet tell me about him.'' Alex said looking over at him. The jaguar sat and listened to the boy with half an ear. The boy liked this other guy who was a bobcat. Alex let boy talk and responded positively to him. The boy had not wanted to go yet it seemed so Alex would pretend he cared. His little weekend was set and the boy would be his he just had to ride it out now till that time. \n\n ``But I don't know if he would like me.''The boy said worriedly. \n\n ``Hey this guy would be a fool if he did not like you .''Alex told the boy with certainty. ``You're a great guy.''The big cat said as the boy hid and embarrassed smile. \n\n ``Don't hide so much.'' Alex said encouragingly. The kitten tried to look up but saw Alex smile at him and lost his nerve and hid his face again. They sat silently again for many long moments and this time the kitten got to his feet.\n\n ``I should get home.'' The boy said as Alex got up to. \n\n ``Ok stay hopeful bud.'' The jaguar said patting him on the shoulder and watched the boy walk off. Alex was very happy and pleased with himself as he headed home. No thoughts of care or pity for the boy went through his mind. Like many predators the jaguar saw only prey and his own satisfaction. \n\n Alex kept up the routine for the rest of the week and greeted to boy in the park everyday chatting to him. He was just making sure his weekend would go as planned. \n\n Saturday morning Alex got up early and bounced around. His excitement was so powerful. That handsome kitten would soon be his to play with. He hid some zip ties near a certain machine in his weight room and checked the neighborhood. Luckily the area was heavily wooded which afforded a certain privacy. He left a not on the front door that said ``Miles I am out back''. He did not want people to see the boy go into his house. The back yard and side had plenty of trees and shrubs and was fenced. Alex had a walk out basement to a sunken patio which helped keep the privacy. Alex went around back and worked out some. The big cat was moving the lawn when the boy arrived. \n\n Miles was standing there just inside the fence when Alex turned the mower again down another row. He waved at the boy and turned the mower off and walked to the patio.\n\n ``Hey bud you made it.'' The jaguar said waving him down. ``Come have a lemonade.'' The big cat said pouring out a drink and holding it up. The kitten came down the short steps and gingerly took the drink. \n\n ``Yeah I guess.'' The boy shrugged and sipped. \n\n ``Well come check out my weight room.'' Alex said walking over to the sliding glass door and opened it. The jaguar went inside and crossed to the middle of the room. He turned back and saw the boy standing in the open door. \n\n ``Well what do you think.'' Alex asked throwing his arms out wide. The big cat had a row of dumbbells of every size a good set of free weights, two work out benches a universal machine and several different leg and arm machines. There was also a punching bag and chin up bar. The kitten looked around and stepped into the room.\n\n ``Its big.'' He said and Alex grinned. \n\n ``Yup.'' He said waving the boy over. ``You can get changed in there.'' He said point to the open door of a bathroom. \n\n ``C-Change?'' Miles said nervously. \n\n ``Yeah into your work out clothes.'' Alex said to the boy. `` Ya know shorts and a t- shirt?'' He said point to his own skin tight shorts. The kitten looked down at his jeans and said. \n\n ``I did not bring any. I did not think.'' The boy started and trailed off mumbling. \n\n ``Hey no worries bud I got you covered.'' The jaguar said moving to a chest by the door. \n\n ``My nephews use my gym when they come. You can borrow a pair of theirs.''He said as he knelt down and rummaged in the chest. He came up holding a pair of black shorts with gold strips down the sides. \n\n ``Here ya go.'' Alex said holding out the pair. The kitten shuffled over and gingerly took them. \n\n ``Ok the bathroom is there.'' The jaguar said pointing. The boy walked in nervously and shut the door.
