Tethys himself is on the taller side of his species, but tends to spend more time reading and writing than putting his large size to use in battle or athletics. He prefers to be non confrontational with others, and has a shy streak when it comes to meeting new people. His lack of self confidence leads him to be somewhat of a homebody, and makes him quite introverted when in public.
From an early age, he has had an interest in culture, finding himself fascinated with creative writing, and art. He dabbles himself, but rarely shares his work from fear of being heavily criticized. On many occasions, he will stop himself just short of sharing his work, and mentally convince himself it's not worth being seen, having even convinced himself he lacks the ability to improve, and would simply disgrace the mediums he wanted to participate in.
The few people who have managed to get through his nervous shell would call him a listener. He likes to hear other people tell stories, and is actually quite level headed and reasonable when it comes to giving advice. He tends to be the neutral opinion in arguments, but will always be the support side for his small circle of friends. When trying to cheer up someone he cares about, he's a big softie, and will give tight hugs if they want them.
