confused and shocked by society as he knows it today - and, when it feels like he's just come around to understanding something, the curveball of \"life\" is thrown his way and puts his perspective in disarray.\n\nThat is why the heart and love of another is important to set him straight. For when it feels like he is drowning in a sea of his own ideals, and confused, ever-changing values, he knows he will have someone there to support for when his vision grows too hazy and he needs a stern 'pep talk' to kick his ass back into gear.\n\nBut this is the way of men who open their hearts, especially a soft soul like Legoshi. They do not understand why they have to suffer so much. But, just from the love of another, they can truly come to the conclusion: life is not so bad after all.\n\nBecause, no matter what you believe yourself to be, you will always be loved.\n\n\"With your hand, I will walk.\"\n\nHe thought he was strong enough to overcome life's trials by himself. But he is not. Nobody can just 'suck it up and do it'. For many, crying is seen as a moment of weakness. Legoshi has always thought the same.\n\nBut when he finally opens his heart, he opens himself to love. Yes you can get hurt. Yes you can be disappointed. But the beauty of life are in these moments - once spent with the ones you treasure most.\n\n[u]Picture 2 - \"Legoshi and Alex\" picture;[/u]\n\n[b]~Legoshi's Reflection~[/b]\n\nLegoshi sits upon the coast.\n\nOnce upon a time, this place used to be the seat of many occasions: beachball, sand castle building... and all manner of light-hearted adventures and activities that young teenage boys (and girls) are wont to do. \n\nThat was back in the Cherryton High days, though. And those days are long gone.\nBut, sitting here, taking in the smell of the sea before him, it gives him a chance to reflect on happier times.\n\n...But were they 'happier times'? Or is he so inundated with adulthood that he has barely the courage to be his old, risk-taking self, as he was back then, so controlled by his emotion...\n\nLegoshi chuckles to himself.\nHe knows that he's the same man he's always been.\nThe love that burns in his heart for Haru burns just as strong today. But, not only that, his love for other people; it pours out of him like a veritable dam of emotion, nigh unending. \n\nA rarity for a carnivore, much less a wolf. But perhaps it is this compassion which makes Legoshi so special. Whereas others would be tarnished from the harsh realities of life that he himself has experienced, Legoshi has only seemed to have embraced these experiences, and used them as learning.\n\nThat is why, when you see the wolf today, you can truly think he has grown.\n\nHe is a boy no more - but rather a man who stands for what he believes in, and protects those close to him. You could ask for no man better. Indeed - such loyalty befits a wolf.\n\n------\n\n[b]~Legoshi's Love~[/b]\n\n\"Life is so full of opportunities...\" Jack said, smiling.\n\"That's why, you gotta take the good with the bad. You gotta be yourself.\" \n\nLegoshi didn't know what to say.\nFor so long, he has aspired to be like this labrador. So perfect, happy and carefree. But, behind that exterior, Jack is feeling as lonely as Legoshi is.\n\n\"We come in many forms. People present themselves in different ways.\" Jack turns to look at Legoshi, admiring Legoshi's fine features from this angle.\n\n\"You've changed because the world hates you so much. It's no wonder Juno's speech was a rousing performance.\"\n\nLegoshi tilted his snout downward. \nAt this angle, he can see the beautiful meteor that glowed in the dark, illumanating everything around it in a warm glow.\n\n\"...But it's okay, Legoshi.\nBecause you have me.\"\n\n--\n\nThe world hates carnivores because they can cause harm.\nIt is for this reason Legoshi denies himself. He protects everyone around him, while at the same time, failing to notice his ultimate weakness: his lack of security in himself.\n\nIt not until he [i]stands tall[/i] that he finally mends his relationship between him and Haru.\n\nTo save her from a crime syndicate... And to brave the battle like that, it takes courage.\nBut, more than that, it takes courage for Legoshi to accept defeat; to accept the reality of the situation, that Haru might not even love him back the same way he loves her.\n\nBut...
