Thanks everyone.\n\n\n-----\n\nI was anxious when I first commissioned this artwork of Alex, because I would choose to use his new design. When the artist said he looks like a completely different character, I was gobsmacked. But then I was looking at the thoughts I shared on my Telegram channel, and it turned out I never had any idea how to redesign Alex in the first place - only that I wanted to follow through on it. Only the neck fur pattern is the same, so this may prove troublesome for future artworks. Although the art came out well, I will probably revert to the original markings, and a darker fur tone (the fur tone is fine here, since I asked the artist to tone it down). By 'original markings', I mean the fur markings. The story explains the reasoning behind the wolf marking (TL;DR: It's because it's sexy :]).\n\nI could just commission more art of him and slowly get confidence, however. The same happened with Tristan, where I was anxious about him at first, but now I love him. I was very anxious though and it was a bad day for me irl. Maybe future artworks will turn out fine. I wanted to refresh Alex because I have too many bad memories with his old design.
