It sounded like a bunch of seagulls dying! What\nwere you doing?!” Coconuts sounded very irritated. Scratch’s face turned red. “I..uh, got a\ncramp in my leg and it hurt like hell! Yeah, that’s it...a cramp.” Scratch lied through his teeth in\norder to hide his earlier activity.\n\n“Well, whatever you were yelling about, could you please keep it down and let decent robots\nsleep next time?” Coconuts complained as he got out a large screw from the fridge, munching\ndown on it like a carrot. “So, um...what are you doing today, Coconuts?” Scratch asked as he\nwashed his cereal bowl. “Well, we’re the ones who have to look after the fortress today! So\nyou’d better not make a speck of a mess, ESPECIALLY in your diaper!” Coconuts said with his\nmouth full. Scratch nodded in agreement; they had a lot to do today.\n\n“Okay, jeez. I’ll try changing myself for a few times for a while.” Scratch said as he wiped the\ntable down. “Good. At least its not me changing you for once!” Coconuts grumbled. “Okay, we’d\nbetter get going to guard the fortress and watch for that pesky hedgehog!” The two badniks\nwalked outside the fortress, and circled it a few times to keep watch for Sonic.\n\n“Any sign of that hedgehog yet?” Scratch asked as he got a tranquilizer gun ready. “Negative!”\nCoconuts peered through his binoculars. Just as quickly as he said that, he spotted a blue blur\nin the distance. Sonic was coming! “Ack! Scratch, it’s the hedgehog!” Coconuts jumped onto\nScratch’s shoulders. “BAWK! Get off me!” Scratch squirmed a bit.\n\nJust as Coconuts got down, Sonic, who was now accompanied by Tails, was right in front of\nthem! “See, Tails? I told you! Scratch is nothing but a big badnik baby, just like I said!” Sonic\nteased as Tails let out a soft giggle. “Haha, you're right, Sonic! He does look pretty silly!”\n\nScratch had had enough. “That’s it! No more nice bot!” Scratch aimed a net gun at Tails, and\nfires it, capturing the poor fox! “Got him!” Scratch exclaimed in happiness. “Sonic! Help!” Tails\ncried from inside the net. “Don’t worry, buddy! I’ll get you out!” But just as Sonic prepared to\nrescue Tails, he felt a sharp pain in his neck. “Ouch! That….hurrrrrrrt….” Sonic slurred.\nCoconuts had fired the tranquilizer dart into Sonic, knocking him out cold! “Sonic! NOOO!” Tails\ncried as he helplessly watched his best blue buddy fall to the ground unconscious. “You’ll pay\nfor that, you big bullies!”\n\nScratch and Coconuts danced in celebration. “I did it! WE did it!”\n\n“Right, of course. WE did it. I’ll drag these two to the dungeon! You go call the doc! He’’l be so\nproud of us!” Scratch dragged Sonic and Tails down to the dungeons, and Coconuts went to the\n\fphone to call Dr. Robotnik. “Let us go! Let us go!” Tails wailed as Scratch dragged the two into a\ncage, slamming the door, locking the heroes inside. “Now you two don’t go anywhere now! I’ve\ngotta change this godforsaken diaper. And when I get back, you’d better apologize for calling\nme a baby!” Scratch waddled off to go change his diaper, leaving Tails and an unconscious\nSonic behind in the cage.\n\nJust as Scratch left, Tails tried to get Sonic awake again. “Come on, Sonic...please wake\nup...Come on…” Tails desperately shook Sonic, but he just wouldn't wake up.
