James \"Jim\" M. Hardimann, most notable of his Skunkworks skunk sisters, has passed due to complications brought on by diabetes on August 29 2014. Not a furry, he did have a unique view of anthropomorphics and did poke fun at the fandom and a heck of an art style that, at the time raised the bar that's going to be hard to beat not only influencing others in art but getting others into the fandom. \n\nI remember first meeting him at ConFurence where he was with his MOM of all people but she was real cool and ok with him doing this kind of art. From then on I was a fan of this kind of art and liked forward to meeting him at the next convention I went to. Failing health issues (not to mention stupid con crud)started to restrict his movements before the last convention he and I would meet at was MFM a few years ago. I always liked the 'No Deposit, No Return' lioness and the 'Don't Feed The Bear' bear and asked if he could do a kangaroo in the same pose. He agreed tho he wasn't a big fan of doing critter bits so I made an exception and this cutie displaying herself was the result and I was thrilled to no end. I wanted to get more art but he was getting busy with his own projects and other commissions. So much to accomplish, so little time and his was cut way too short. \n\nSo in his passing, rather than let it disappear into obscurity, I want to share this one image I was lucky enough to get from a really great and down to earth guy.
