Evan's Memories. © Kaijou Jaguclaw Freaky © His player. Pokemon concept © Nintendo. Evan stirred lightly in his pokemon's arms; freaky the 7 ft tall green raichu holding his trainer as he too, slept, covering Evan, somewhat, was a larger then your average Mightyena. Though two of the three beings there were sleeping happily, one, was not. Evan, unfortunately, was again having nightmares of his youth. All through his mind, playing on repeat, the time of his last encounter with his brother... "Evan! Come on bro! Wake up! I wanna show you something!" came a voice. Evan's eyes opened slowly, he got out of bed and blinked dopily up at his brother, Aaron, a rather tall boy, with messy blonde-brown hair. Aaron was apparently ecstatic about something. "...Mm..what is it bro...?" Evan asked in his curious young voice. "I caught a new pokemon! And not just that! But it's special! It's really big!" Aaron said, holding out a pokeball. Evan grinned. "ooh! Cool bro! Show me!" he pleaded. Aaron snickered and ruffled his hair. "why do you think I woke you stupid, hurry up and ill show you!" he started for the door as evan pulled on a pair of sheepskin shoes, still in his pajama's. he hurried after Aaron, anxious to see the new pokemon his brother had caught. He hurried outside, running out to the backyard, seeing his brother, he hurried over to him. "hehe! Well, lets see it bro!" he practically bounced as he said so, Evan at that time, was only 7, he wasn't old enough to have his own pokemon, but he'd almost always grown up with them, as his father, and brother were both trainers. "heh, alright then shrimp, step back!" Aaron said, pulling a ball from his belt. "go! Mightyena!" he said, throwing the ball, Evan's eyes widened with curiosity as the ball landed, and opened, with a burst of light, a huge pokemon formed, a Mightyena, and not just that, but it had to stand at, at least 8 or 9 ft tall! "Whoa! It's huge bro!" evan said as he stared up at it's form, a form that gazed at it's trainer with a slightly less then pleased look on it's face. "yeah, I know! I found it last night when I was training, it was fighting with another, almost as big, but this one lost, so when it was down, I took the opportunity, and caught him!" Evan practically beamed. "coool..." he looked up to the pokemon and walked over to pet it, though all he could reach were it's legs. "hey bro... make it sit, I can't reach..." Evan said, standing on his toes. He heard Aaron's voice. "go on, sit down." Evan expected to pokemon to obey and sit instantly, like all the rest did, he was crest fallen when it didn't. "Bro! It aint sitting!!" he whined. "I know!" Aaron barked back, getting angry. "mightyena, sit down, Now!" Aaron commanded again, pointing down. to his surprise, the large wolf just stood there, completely ignoring him. "grr.. you stupid mongrel!" Aaron growled as he walked off some to grab a stick. "ill teach you.." Evan knew that his brother often had a bad temper, but even still, he had the sense of what could happen. "bro... don't do that..." he mumbled worriedly. "evan, step back..." Aaron warned, but his brother hurried in front of the pokemon with his arms outstretched, "bro! Don't!" Aaron frowned. "evan! Get out of the way!!" evan simply stood, there, a very big mistake, for, his small form, to the large pokemon looked very appetizing, and right in front of him, it was no deal for him to open his muzzle wide and lower it over the boy's head. Evan screamed in terror, gripping at the muzzle as the wolf slowly pushed down, to swallow him whole, Aaron too, standing, terrified. "No! stop it you stupid pokemon!" he yelled as he cracked it in the side with his stick. This only angered the large wolf, which growled around its meal. Aaron gulped and then pulled out his pokeball. "mightyena! Return!" he called, though scared that it would take Evan too. he sighed in the greatest relief as only mightyena was sucked into it's pokeball, evan falling to the ground, coughing and crying, his head and shoulders covered in the mightyena's saliva. Aaron hurried forwards. "bro! Are you ok?" he said worriedly as he knelt, to put a hand on Evan's shoulder. The small boy choked and knocked his hand aside, stepping back. "you.. you made him try and do that!!" the small boy yelled. "you! I hate you!" he screamed as he ran past, Aaron staring. "What!? I? No! evan!" he stood there sighing as he watched his brother run. He looked to his pokeball. "thanks a lot..." he grumbled. He walked in a while later, to find his family in an uproar, evan crying at the table with his mother and father looking aghast, they looked at him, though evan just sat crying. "Aaron? Is this true? You made one of your pokemon try and eat Evan!?" his mother asked. "no! its not I--!" his father cut him off. "no! don't, we don't want any excuses, hand over your pokeballs now and get to your room." His father growled, a tall and burly man, his father was someone not many people would want to argue with. Aaron gulped and then frowned as he handed him his pokeballs with shaking hands, looking at Evan with the deepest loathing. "I hate you..." he muttered under his breath as he trudged off to his room, where he threw himself onto the bed, staring at his roof. "I should have let the stupid pokemon eat him, little tell tale... I bet they ground me for a year..." Aaron growled as he rolled over and sat with his head on his hands. "stupid little butt wipe..." he muttered. Evan in the meanwhile, had slowly calmed down, watching his parents talking now. "...its too dangerous.. if he made a pokemon do this to his brother, what else do you think he could do?" his mother asked worriedly. "he wont do anything of the sort if he knows what's good for him..." he father growled darkly. "well... why don't we stop him from training? That'll stop the problems.." Evan's mother asked tentatively. His father looked at her. "that's impossible! You know you can't stop a person from being a trainer! It's in his blood!" his father said in a slightly raised voice. "well, we can try! He almost made a pokemon eat his brother for god's sake Ben! If we don't stop him now, he may well grow to train pokemon that only do that!" she answered back louder. "no! I will not have him stopped form training! It's not going to happen Julie!" he practically yelled at her. She glared. "well, I'm going to stop him, im not going to have a.. a.. murderer in my house!" she said, Ben stood up. "you wont do anything of the sort!" she stood up. "I'd like to see you try and stop me!" she yelled. His hand came up, slapping her, though not hard, it was enough to make her fall sideways, holding her cheek. Evan's eyes widened. His father stood over her, breathing heavily, whilst she whimpered as she held her cheek. "you..." she got up, tears sliding down her cheeks and ran off down to her room." Evan sat in silence, looking at where she left, before his father's voice snapped him to attention. "you!" he looked at his father. "get to your room!" Evan stood up, hurrying to his room, whilst his father sat down. Evan hurried into his room, still shivering, starting to choke again, he grabbed a towel, cleaning himself off, and wiped his eyes with the towel, his whole meddling had started this. He sat on his bed, sniffling silently, he thought about his brother, feeling a twinge of anger. "no. it's not my fault... it's Aaron's!" he growled, he lay back on his bed, listening to the thoughts in his head, the memories of what had happened, he slowly drifted off, tired from his eventful morning. "Help!!" evan snapped awake and sat up, looking around. "Help!!" the voice came again, he stood up quickly, the voice had come from Aaron's room. He hurried out his door, and into the living room, seeing Aaron's pokeballs. He blinked, one of them was open, he blinked more, picking it up and hurrying to his brothers room, stopping dead at the doorway, terrified at what he saw, Aaron had his back pressed against the wall, with rogue, out of his pokeball, with his huge muzzle surrounding the boy's belly, Evan's eyes widened as he stepped back, the ball dropping from his hand, he watched in terror, yet with a strange feeling in his chest as he watched mightyena slowly pushing it's muzzle up, inch by inch over Aaron's struggling frame, his brother crying as he yelled for help. His parents were all the way on the other side of the house, and he knew he didn't have time to get them. Tears of fear welled in his eyes, as Aaron's chest vanished into the wolf's muzzle, only his head and shoulders remaining, his head flailing. "stop! Stoppit!!" he suddenly saw evan, the smallest glimmers of hope shining on his face. "e..evan! q..quick! recall him!!" evan looked down at the ball, whimpering as he crouched to pick it up, he looked up, Aaron's head vanishing into its muzzle. "hurry eva--!" the voice became muffled as mightyena shut it's mouth around his brother's head, sealing him from the world, Evan raised the ball. "uh.. uhh... m..mi..mightyena..r..return!" mightyena suddenly vanished into a beam of light and disappeared into the ball, Evan watching hopefully, his heart pumping as he waited... nothing came... Aaron didn't appear... Evan stood in silence, his heart still pumping, he looked at the ball. "b..bro...?" he whispered weakly as he stood there, trembling from head to toe, the deepest feeling of regret forming in his chest, a lump in his throat preventing him from speaking, he choked, tears sliding down his cheeks, his brother was eaten, the previous day, he would have wished it, yet now as he stood there, in the dark empty doorway, he thought of one thing. "...I never said sorry..." he whimpered as he dropped the ball, running to his room, bursting into tears... Evan jerked a bit, a tear sliding down his cheek as he slept, yet he dreamt on, not waking from his tortured dreams. He awoke again, to a silent house, he got up in silence and walked out of the room, his gaze was to the ground as he passed by the family room, looking in on his brother's room, neat and silent, cleaned after Aaron had mysteriously vanished without a trace. Thought his parents still believed that he had run away, evan didn't tell them the truth, the fear of what would happen if they did... he shivered and slowly made his way back to the kitchen, his father there silently reading the paper. It had been 2 months since his brother had vanished, his parents had split up, and evan was alone, he'd been attending school as always, though, he no longer played sports, he didn't take part in class, just sat there in silence, starting at the desk, always the same thought running through his mind. "why didn't I do anything sooner?" "why didn't I say I was sorry?" "why did that happen...?" "was he still angry with me...?" Evan had often broken down in class, in the middle of nothing in particular, and he was now outcasted completely, though, he didn't want it any other way. His father didn't so much as greet him as he started to make himself food, evan looking silently at him, before continuing, as he took his bowl, he walked to the bench, but a memory of Aaron made him stop dead, shivering, he dropped the bowl, watching it with a nonchalant look but stepped back when it shattered on the cold hard floor. His father look up. "stupid boy! Cant do anything right! Probably turn out worse then your stupid mother!" he said barking as he got to his feet, seeming to swell with anger, Evan stepped back, sniffling. "i..i...did..didn't mean.." he whimpered. "SHUT UP AND GET TO YOUR ROOM!" his father yelled, pointing aside, Evan yelped and ran, hurrying to his room and shutting the door behind him, shaking worse then ever as he sat there. His thoughts running faster through his head, one came through though, clear and strong amidst the din of his mixed emotions and painful memories. "run away" he sat there, staring at the ground, looking up slowly with a choke as a tailow flew past silently and gracefully. He blinked some and nodded as he stood up, walking to his cupboard to get changed. He had waited till the night fell, his stomach roaring in hunger, he rubbed it with a wince. "shut up and be patient.." he mumbled as he rubbed his belly. He sat on his bed, dressed in baggy jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket Aaron used to wear, it was the first one he wore as a trainer, having a pokeball emblazoned on the back and a few pockets along the front. He slowly pulled on his black sneakers, tying them and sitting, silently as he waited, a look to the clock on his wall told him. "11:30" he nodded as he stood up, carrying his bag, which now held a bunch of clothes. He slowly walked to the door and opened it, peering out, no lights were on, which was good for him. he snuck out quickly, hurrying to the kitchen and looking through the fridge, he pulled out a few things, not really caring as he wolfed them down, nearly choking as he tried to work a lump of cheese down, he knew that with lights on, his father might wake up, he thought silently, and then shook his head, clearing his thoughts as he then walked to the cupboards, picking out a few non-perishable foods, he remembered Aaron telling him what he took on his first adventure out, packing them into his bag. He looked around before he left and saw them, on the table by the couch. 6 pokeballs, Aaron's pokeballs. He hesitated at the door, picking them up slowly and hooking them onto his belt nervously. "...its safer anyway..." he mumbles as he hooked the last onto his belt, a light nearby clicked on. Evan spun around and stared down the doorway, his father standing there, looking nothing less then insane. "stupid boy... get to your room... your not going anywhere!" his father said in a vicious growl. Evan stepped back slowly. "im not staying here anymore.." he whimpered as he looked at his father, who stepped after him. Evan's hand dropped and he chose one of his pokeballs, though not knowing whatsoever as to what it was, he needed some form of protection. "go!" he said in a hurried voice, the ball landing, and raising in a burst of light, was none other, then the pokemon Mightyena. Who hadn't been out of his ball in 2 months, and was looking somewhat skeletal, his skinny frame unfed, Evan shivered as he backed up. watching his father stopping in his tracks as the pokemon loomed over him with a savage growl. Evan slowly smiled. "m..mightyena! do to him what you did to Aaron!" he said, his voice wavering the slightest bit, his father, would hunt him down, he knew he would, and mightyena needed food, these thoughts mixed, so evan had come up with a solution for both. He watched, satisfied as rogue head butted the large man, right in the head, the force knocking the man cold, not to mention a good three foot back. Evan watched, his heart again thumping hard as he watched with a surprising feeling of anxiousness, watching as mightyena walked to the man's head, and opened his muzzle wide, getting his lower jaw under the man's head, he glomped his muzzle around it, and swallowed hard, walking forward as the mans shoulders were pulled into his muzzle. Evan watched, fascinated as mightyena continued to ingest his father, grinning widely as the pokemon's hugely stretched maw worked down over the man's chest, drool starting to ooze over his form as mightyena gulped and pulled Ben's stomach into his maw, now with a good deal of his meal inside of him, the large pokemon sat back and raised it's head, gulping hard, evan staring as the belly and waist vanish into the pokemon's muzzle, the bulge pushing out the pokemon's neck fur widely, before vanishing behind his ribcage, evan stared, smiling deeply as mightyena made quick work of the man's legs, soon gulping them down, lapping over the feet before they vanished. Evan laughed loudly and jumped. "well done!" he said as he hurried forwards to hug the pokemon, mightyena looking down at the boy and belched, his stomach rather distended. The pokemon thinking somewhat to himself, that other human who caught him, had hit him, and not allowed him to eat humans, though, this new human who had let him out, had told him to eat the person he'd just ingested, and was now hugging him for it, a smile working onto the pokemon's face as it nuzzled Evan's small frame. Evan giggled and then stepped back, after petting the pokemon's muzzle. "for now, ill let you digest, I better get moving anyway..." he said silently as he recalled pokemon, smiling deeply to himself. He hooked the ball back on his belt, and this time, opened the door, shivering silently as the cold night air greeted him, but he went on, without so much as looking back, hopping the fence and starting the long road out to anywhere his feet took him. Evan slowly stirred again, smiling in freaky's arms, mumbling slightly in his sleep. Before he settled back in and continued to dream. It had been 2 years since he'd run away from home, now ten, he had gone and officially gone to become a trainer, he'd passed of course, and gotten a new pokemon, a ralts. A small psychic pokemon, which Evan smiled at, though internally he simply thought. "rogue'll eat happy tonight..." he shook the man's hand as he walked off, pocketing his 6 free pokeballs and his new pokedex, grinning somewhat as he walked to a large forest outside of town. Where evan sat relaxing, on a log, humming somewhat as he sat there, pleased with himself, he'd so far, not lost a match, and no one had talked about him, so he hadn't been hunted after, he and rogue had made a very strong relation ship and he was very pleased, having learnt a lot in his time away from home, he'd read in a paper a few weeks after his departure, that police were clueless as to "his fathers" and his own whereabouts, evan grinned to himself as he stood up and walked deeper into the forest, it was feeding time. He walked to an open grove, pulling out two pokeballs, he pressed the buttons once and went to throw them, before a loud gulp distracted him, he blinked some and looked aside to where he'd heard it, a grin crossed his face and he slowly walked to a thick patch of bushes, poking his head through, he stared. Before him, stood a 7 ft tall green raichu, rather chubby compared to normal raichu's, but more alarming, (or to even, intriguing.)was the fact that the pokemon had two denim-covered calves, and a pair of sneaker covered feet in its mouth, squirming and kicking. Evan watched with a deep smile as the pokemon gulped again and pulled the shoes out of sight, then slowly gulped them down happily, until his gut distended, evan put the balls back on his belt and slowly, unknowingly, walked from the bushes, the sight having intrigued him, his feet carried him before the pokemon, he snapped out of his stupor as the pokemon eyed him, with a greedy look on it's face. Evan gulped. "uhmm.. hey there... I just saw you...e..eat that person..." the pokemon grinned and patted it's belly, before leaning down to the boy's eye level and grinned. "and your next!" Evan staggered back. "whoa! Hey! No! wait! I.. I wanted to ask if you'd be my pokemon!" the pokemon blinked and laughed loudly. "me? be trained? And be a midget like you!?" Evan blinked and glared. "my other pokemon do what you do!" the raichu blinked some, seeming somewhat intrigued. "they do huh? What? Just meat ill bet?" Evan frowned. "heck no! other pokemon! And... one of them ate some people..." he said a bit shiftily." The raichu grinned. "oh? This I'd like to see!" evan grinned. "ok, well, I was just about to feed one anyway." He stepped away from the pokemon and pulled out the two balls again. "come on out rogue! Dinner time!" he threw the two, and out came a small ralts, and again, the huge form of rogue, who, since having been with evan, was once again very well fed, and toned. The ralts looked around, seeing evan, then freaky, then the towering mightyena, it squeaked and evan grinned. "rogue, dinner!" he said, pointing at the ralts, the large wolf looked at evan, then the ralts and leaned down swiftly to grab it in it's maw, the entire pokemon fitting easily, evan watched with a grin, the raichu too, watching with admiration as the huge wolf gulped the small pokemon down slowly, ralts' small form able to be seen squirming all the way down, rogue let out a contended belch and looked at the raichu, sniffing him some. Evan laughed. "no rogue! He's not food too! return!" he recalled rogue and walked to the pokemon. "so, what do you say?" the raichu looked at him with a grin. "Well... if I get fed as well as he does, and a few other little bonuses... I might be enticed..." evan giggled and nodded. "deal, hehe!" the raichu held out a paw, which evan took. "deal then kid!" he said. Evan shook the hand and pulled out a pokeball, the raichu recoiled some, but soon relaxed, he looked at evan, who still hadn't let go of his paw, and blinked, he grinned some and pulled him over into a hug, evan screamed in fright. "woah! Easy kid! Easy!" the raichu hushed him. "im not gunna eat you." He said with a grin. "just wanted to say my name's freaky aight, do not call me raichu, or I will eat you, capiche?" evan nodded slowly and squirmed in the hug. The raichu nodded and then let him go. "aight kid, lets go." Evan snickered and nodded as he threw the ball. Watching as it hit the raichu and pulled him in, shaking a few times, before an odd noise told him he did it, he grinned as he picked it up and put it on his belt. "alright..." he mumbled. Evan smiled slowly in his sleep, squirming a bit in freaky's arms, the pokemon slowly awakening and looking down to his trainer with a small smile, nuzzling the boy's hair. Evan slept on, smiling softly. But sadly, the dreams were replaying... "Evan! Come on bro! Wake up! I wanna show you something!" Evan suddenly awoke with a yell, cold sweat starting to drip from him, tears mingling with the sweat as he looked down to rogue with a choke, freaky slowly hugging him, Evan had of course told him about the dreams, and the raichu had comforted him, much like he was now. Evan shivering as he settled into freaky's arms. "again with the dreams hun?" freaky asked softly. "y...yup..." evan whispered silently. "shh... go to sleep evan... they're just dreams..." freaky said softly. "...t..they're memories... not dreams..." evan muttered softly, choking again as he tried to close his eyes and let sleep take him... The End.
