Elite Spades Invasion: Carnation By Monica Vix A soft hum of holographic menus swooshed in the air, a slender white furred hand directing each and every motion of the menus. Along the pale blue sections of translucent screens were clothes and special outfits to choose, a finger with a black painted claw poking a handful of options. Stylish modern clothes, classical Victorian dresses, and even stuff a little more… childish flashed along the white jackalope’s body, the tall and slender form changing dresses like flipping through songs. After a moment, Carnation’s slender body was covered with a gothic hipster aesthetic. Tights under black jean shorts with a blood red shirt clinging to her body. The final piece to the lovely outfit was a long, flowing cloak, black on the outside with a red underside. After spending almost an hour of her life flicking through screens to customize her virtual appearance to her current mood, the jackalope stepped over and looked through the games she owned. She didn’t see any that grabbed for her attention at a glance. All of the typical dating games gone without update or were too expensive for her rather light wallet. Then, a little game stole her attention, one that she had a subscription to that she forgot about! Carnation poked the screen, opening the information to “Spades Invasion.” She couldn’t even remember getting the game at all, let alone ever playing it. The reviews seemed good and fun, talking about how unique and versatile the gameplay experience is, enticing the jackalope to join in on the fun. A recent update to the early game also drew the lapine in! With a simple tap to the screen, the world around Carnation grew dim. Power was being directed to sending her to this new world, a new setting to exist in. The sensation of lightheadedness and a dizziness like falling overwhelmed the jackalope, who swayed around where she stood. After a moment, the fogginess in her head cleared before she realized she was actually falling! Dropping down, down, what felt like a long tube slide, not a single spec of light the entire trip. As she neared the end, red eyes grew wide as she struggled to hold back a scream, seeing a sharper drop to the bottom of the tube with a bright light just underneath! All the fear disappeared as the jackalope fell directly on top of a beanbag, sitting there in shock for a moment. “Oh… that’s, uh… fun.” Carnation said with a deadpan expression. She brushed the dark hair out of her eyes and craned her head back, looking up as the long transportation tube disappeared from sight. “Hello? Is there anyone here?” Carnation called out, pulling herself off of the beanbag. Brushing down her clothes and looking around, the white jackalope attempted to look for anyone within this weird building. The walls were filled with what looked like safe deposit boxes from banks, each of them holding a little keycard reader on the front of them. Long rows of these boxes stretched around each and every corner, leading the red eyes of the gothic jackalope towards a desk. There sat a falcon of indeterminate gender, reading a magazine with those pretty yellow eyes. Along their body was the outfit the Spades wore, Carnation only picking it out from the cover art on the front of the game’s page. The form fitting belt around the chest, panties, and thigh high socks fit with a holster for a gun; the outfit looked all too revealing for Carnation herself, but she did admire how it looked on the avian. Yellow eyes looked up from the magazine, a long and drawn-out sigh coming from the falcon. “Hello and welcome to the Spades Invasion.” They spoke with a disinterested tone. Dark brown feathers set the magazine onto their pale plumage, eyes narrowing at the rabbit. “What sort of starting item can I get you, sweetheart?” The bird of prey asked with a showy wave of a wing-arm, gesturing to all of the boxes covering the walls. “Starting item?” Carnation asked. After thinking and looking across the deposit box filled wall, the jackalope shrugged. “Maybe something like… charming? Like the vampire seduction stuff?” She suggested, not really considering it being an actual option have in this place. The falcon picked up a small index book and began to flip through it. After a moment, they stood up from their desk and flapped their large wings, flying over towards one of many perches on the wall. Unlocking one of the boxes and drawing out a pair of red tinted glasses, the falcon swooped back down to drop them in Carnation’s hands. The black frames were made of cold metal, the red tinted lenses glinting in the light of the great room. “Here ya go.” The falcon said, walking away with high heels clacking against the tile floor. Plopping themself down on their chair and picking up the magazine, they began to talk to Carnation again. “Just put them on and tilt them down when you find someone you want to charm. There’s your item, you can go on to the game now. Just walk out the double doors down the hall.” They said passively, turning the page of their magazine instead of looking towards the jackalope. Carnation fumbled with her new item as she began to walk out of the large hall of boxes. “Well, uh, thank you?” She said softly, giving a little goodbye wave to the inattentive falcon. Putting the red tinted glasses on over her red eyes, the white jackalope looked forward towards a pair of double doors. Pressing open the doors plopped her out onto pavement, seemingly coming out of a large white van! “That’s… not suspicious at all.” The jackalope said with a smile, joking to herself more than anyone else. High heeled boots carried the gothic lapine towards the facility’s main gate. With a glance around the midnight covered courtyard, Carnation didn’t spy any unwanted eyes gazing towards her. Sneaking in with a stupid smile on her face, the jackalope creeped and quietly snuck around like she was invisible to all around her. The bold confidence carried her to the door, now spying a sleepy golden retriever woman standing guard. The black and white Spades uniform clinging to the body of the pretty puppy, the bright gold fur glistening in the spotlights covering the courtyard. Carnation walked up, creeping along the wall and clinging to the shadows like a needy ex. Standing just about ten or so feet away from the canine, the jackalope got into position leaning against the wall. With a whistle, she called out to the golden retriever, stealing her sleepy attention and drawing those baby blue eyes to her form. As soon as the canine saw the rabbit and realized that she wasn’t meant to be there, she reached for her gun at her hip! The pistol was drawn, the grey metal glinting in the violent, unnatural light of the building. “Hey there, pup~” Carnation cockily said, tilting her glasses down and giving a wink for extra effect. The magic like effect of the item made the golden retriever freeze! The blue eyes flashed with red as a pixelated heart started to spiral around her head, a stupid smile growing across the blonde dog’s face. “Aw~ You’re so adorable!” The jackalope complimented as she stepped over past the double doors of the facility. “What’s your name, pretty girl?” Carnation continued to tease the Spades member while reaching a hand up to scratch her new friend’s chin. Sighing out in pure bliss with the gentle scratch to her chin, the charmed canine wagged her tail hard. “H-hi, hi~ I-I’m, uh, Typhina!” The golden retriever spoke with a sleepy and eager voice. “You can call me Typhe, if you want!” She said, eagerly wagging her tail, getting in closer to the tall jackalope. Typhe was a little under a head of the lapine, her muzzle able to rest on the collar bone of her seducer with ease. “Aw, a cute pup with a cute name! Such a good girl already.” Carnation couldn’t help herself with such a cute girl. The soft fur and light amount of chub on a girl shorter than her was stealing all of her affection and attention, like any dog would. Her hand rolled up the chin of Typhe, slipping up to cup her fluffy cheek, and then finally rest on top of her head to pet the puppy. “Would you like to take me inside and show my around? Maybe lead your mistress to the cafeteria and get us a bite to eat?” The power hungry jackalope was taking all the power she could from her new prey! It brought a sadistic smile to her face, just watching how eagerly the sleepy canine obeyed. The golden retriever shoved open the door, holding it open for the tall jackalope. “Yea! Yea! Just come on in, I’ll help you avoid the traps!” She spoke as if the traps were nothing but a mild annoyance at worst. “Oh. There are traps?” Carnation said with a fading smile. She followed the eagerly wagging tail of the canine deeper into the facility, the blank white walls passing by with no discernible details. “Nice to know that. I wasn’t expecting this to be… quiet a dungeon crawl.” The jackalope laughed softly, wrapping her arms around her midsection to try to comfort herself. Within her head, she was screaming, not feeling safe at all even with her new brainwashed companion. Suddenly, Typhe stopped in the middle of the hall! She held up one of her fluffy hands to stop Carnation behind her, the tall jackalope almost running into the canine. “Shh! There’s someone ahead.” The golden retriever stated, “Do you want me to get them, mistress?” The obedient dog spoke, waiting for any confirmation while poised in an attacking pose. Hesitating behind the canine for a moment, Carnation looked down at the eagerness from her seduced slave. It scared her. Not wanting to deny her seemingly bloodthirsty subordinate, the jackalope raised a tentative hand and placed it on the golden retriever’s head. The simple pet was all the answer she could give to Typhe. A single reaction came near instantly: a blood curdling battle cry in the form of a long, drawn-out howl! The instant the howl started, Typhe was darting ahead! Her high heels clacked against the floor, her pistol now drawn in her fluffy paws, and there being a murderous flame in her eyes. Carnation stood in the tracks of the canine, stunned and startled from the pure fury radiating from the golden retriever Even as she ran away, the pure rage for her mistress was palpable like a heavy mist of smoke in the air. Anyone could mistake the golden retriever for a hellhound and no one would even blame them. Carnation started to run after the canine, struggling to keep up due to her inexperience running in heels. A three-round burst of gunfire came, a secondary shot coming from another source a little further down. Frozen for a moment, the jackalope slowed down as she approached the corner, not wishing to get a bullet in the face if her champion canine has fallen. Turning the corner and peeking out with a single red eye, the jackalope was pleasantly surprised to see Typhe standing tall! Or, as tall as the relatively short dog could. A small trickle of blood went down the golden furred faced of the pretty dog as she turned around, showing off a wound that pierced her ear. “Oh, uh… good job!” The jackalope spoke as eager and excited as she could, feigning most of it. Carnation stepped forward and saw the floppy body of a white furred fox boy on the ground, noting a trio of bullet holes that pierced the pretty pale fur. “Are you okay, Typhe? You’re, uh… bleeding all over your face.” The somewhat concerned jackalope spoke, approaching the canine to look at the wound. Eagerly nuzzling her blood-soaked cheek into the white furred hand of her gothic mistress, Typhe didn’t even seem to notice as her tail wagged and pixelated heart status effect fluttered around. “As long as I do what you say, I feel great! I feel like I could cum from the next command~” The ditzy doggy spoke, a lustful edge in her voice. Pretty blue eyes looked up into Carnation’s, showing off a desire for more commands, more orders, just more of the lapine in general! “Wow, you’re really into this, aren’t you?” Carnation said with a bit of surprise, a smile on her lips. “What if I told you to kill yourself for me? Would you still do it?” The jackalope said as a joke. Even then, the thought of losing her current bodyguard set her off, like it was a horrible idea to run around alone in these halls. As a flash of grey steel rose up, Carnation quickly grasped the gun out of Typhe’s hand. “No, no, not yet! Not now. It was a question and NOT a command.” The vampiric rabbit glared down at the golden retriever, holding her pet’s pistol in her hands. Panting with a soft whine, the wagging tail of the canine sped up like a helicopter. “I’ll gut myself for you if you wanna watch me struggle and die! It would hurt a lot, but it’ll be fun!” Typhe was almost bouncing with the idea of killing herself for Carnation, a look of pure lust drawn all over her face. It was like a single touch could make her orgasm! Suddenly, footsteps came from behind the pair. Carnation saw them first, red eyes glaring as a small squad of four furries and scalies alike came around the corner in formation. A pair of calico cat twins, a gecko, and a snake came from around the corner with weapons drawn, appearing to be marching around and patrolling the building. The leader appeared to be the snake, her tall, blacked scales across her muscular body leading the pack with a green armband across her strong looking bicep. Orange eyes narrowed in on the pair, one of her hands raising to call the attack as the other held a powerful looking rifle. “Okay, new command!” Carnation barked out, pointing a finger at the group ahead of them. “Typhe, kill!” The jackalope spoke with the energy and command of a military officer as she sent her soldier out to fight the battle for her! “Capture one or two if you can, but stop the threat to your mistress!” She saw a chance to get more than a single subordinate, but wouldn’t threaten her own safety at the moment. Upon turning around, the blue eyes of the golden furred dog narrowed. Another piercing howl came as she charged forward, wrenching the gun away from her mistress as she was sent into battle like a simple pawn on the chess board! Typhe screamed a cry of bloody murder as her pistol let forth a pair of shots, blood spouting like fire from the unprotected midsections of the gecko and one of the calico cats. Retaliation from the patrolling squadron was quick as a heavy rifle shot zoomed past the golden retriever, hitting the concrete wall behind Carnation! The second cat approached with a large machete in her hands, about to slash at the canine. “You!” Carnation called out, pointing her finger to the machete wielding calico. “Stop!” The jackalope commanded, using one of her hands to tilt the glasses down and glare at the feline. In a moment, as if they were frozen in ice, the calico paused. A pixelated heart started to flutter around her head. “Now, kitty, turn on your squad!” Carnation commanded with a wide smirk. Her smugness was quickly offset as another rifle shot from the strong looking snake shattered tiles at her feet, forcing her to dodge and start to move erratically across the battlefield. The tides of battle changed fluidly! The brainwashed calico raised her machete and brought it down on her bleeding sister’s neck, cleanly chopping the twin’s head off. Carnation continued to move and dodge, not having any weapon to fire back or even throw at the snake. Moving in closer, Typhe shot off the remainder of her magazine, a pair of bullets barely even grazing the scales of the black serpent. Keeping an eye on the entire situation unfolding behold her, the jackalope pointed directly at the heavily armed mini-boss of a snake and screamed! “Get the snake! Get the snake!” The shrill, terror filled voice of the white jackalope called out to her subordinates. Dodging aside, Carnation tripped on her own high heeled boots and fell to the ground! Tumbling, she missed the action as the pair of mind-controlled girls focused their attention on the snake standing tall over the bloodshed filled hallway. Neither of them even paid mind to the struggling gecko on the ground! The leopard scaled gecko absently waved her machete around, trying to catch one of them, before simply sighing and surrendering as she bled out. Typhe darted forward with a combat knife unsheathed, the silvery blade glinting in the air as she lunged like a cobra! The calico charged in from the other side, forcing the black serpent to prioritize one over the other. The slash, the stab; they were met with rifle fire illuminating the hallway more than fluorescent light could. A flourishing spin of the gun brought the butt of it slamming down into Typhe’s head, sending the golden retriever to the ground with a huff. The trigger being pulled sent a pair of rounds into the stomach and chest of the calico. Neither of the melee attacks struck the powerful snake. That was, until, Typhe slashed up the long leg of her target, carving a stream of blood all the way up from calf to crotch! A cry of pain shot out as the serpent replied with another bullet! The piercing blow shattered the skull of the calico girl, the pixelated heart circling her head shattering and dissolving into a million little pixels. As the calico corpse began to fall to the ground, the golden retriever slashed her blade up higher and higher! The knife carved a fine gnash along the front of the snake, spilling her guts before being jammed into her heart! As the steaming guts fell to the ground in the canine’s victory, the blade was discarded, the sharp edge wedged directly into the sternum of its prey. As the painful screeches of the mini-boss serpent fell along with her corpse, Carnation poked her head out from behind the corner. She was clearly anxious about getting a bullet in her own head. Seeing Typhe, crouched down and covered in blood and gore, the lapine sighed in relief. The jackalope stood and slowly walked over, taking up the rifle of the fallen enemy with a wide smile on her face. Pulling the trigger to find that it was empty, the smile faded from the rabbit’s face. Carnation simply, unceremoniously dropped the weapon down onto the corpse of its owner. “D-did I do good?” Typhe groaned, panting, almost begging for any sense of praise and admiration from her mind controlling mistress. “C-can I get pets? Please, please?” She cried out, begging on her knees with the messy blade still in her hands. Carnation looked down, frowning at the gross guts that covered the doggy’s head. “You… actually like this? Would you like it without the brainwashing, or does that just make it better?” She asked in genuine curiosity. The jackalope used the barrel of the gun to brush away the entrails from the canine’s head, only to give her a pat with the butt of the weapon. “Yep! Yep!” The canine wagged her tail, leaning up into the head pats with the dangerous weapon. “Brainwashing, killing, dying; it was all in the job description! And for how much we get paid at the end of the month, there’s no way I could turn this down! Especially when it feels so, SO good~” The lust filled her voice once more. Narrowing her eyes and starting to walk along, the vampiric lapine looked over her shoulder at her minion. “How much do you get paid? I might need to hop on this crazy train at some point.” Carnation said more as a joke as she began towards the cafeteria once again. A soft laugh escaped the brainwashed doggy as she grabbed onto the arm of her mistress. “Just getting started as a grunt like me? Three thousand a month!” She called out, almost bouncing! Typhe felt so much pleasure just simply answering a question. “Do you need anything else, mistress? Any question? Any task?” Her panties were dripping with erotic fluids as she begged for more attention and commands. “Three… thousand?” Carnation was shocked, the eagerness of the canine stealing that moment of aloofness away. “Oh, you need something to do? Well…” The jackalope stepped into the cafeteria, keeping the golden retriever on her arm. As she thought, an opportunity shoved itself directly in front of her face! Red eyes locked onto a box underneath one of the many tables. “Typhe, go open that box for me and get me whatever’s inside.” Carnation commanded with a simple point of a finger. Ears perking up to attention, the blue eyes were locked onto her target like a mindless machine! Typhe separated herself from her soft embrace around Carnation’s arm, starting to run across the empty cafeteria to grab the box. The orange storage container, no larger than a suitcase, was light enough for her to heave out with a single hand. As it was plopped onto the table, the eager golden retriever struggled to open the lid for a moment. Latches were flipped, keys twisted, a screen being poked; all of it to no avail. the box being nothing more than a puzzle for the simple-minded mind-controlled pup! Carnation slowly approached the canine from behind. She was hesitant to interfere, unsure of what the box actually contained in any way. Reaching out a hand towards Typhe’s rapidly moving body, the jackalope hesitated to stop her and prevent her from opening the box. As soon as her hand was raised, the golden retriever flipped a switch! The orange lid slowly opened, creaking as if it hasn’t been opened in years. A silver key, about a foot and a half in length, was sat on a foam insert. Perfectly carved and looking more ornate than any 16th century masterpiece, the metal key was presented to the pair. “Oh. What… is this?” Carnation asked to no one in particular, despite the canine listening in not even a half foot away from her. The jackalope reached out her slender hands, white furred digits slipping around the silvery shaft of the key to grasp it. “It feels tingly.” She sighed. The silver was squeezed in her hands, being slowly heaved up to her chest. Typhe looked up with a dumb smile on her face. “That’s a key to the end!” She chirped out excitedly. “Give it a twist and we’ll be right in front of the boss! And, if you win, you get a pretty golden crown!” The golden retriever wagged her tail, laughing as she clung against Carnation’s arm like wet tissue clinging to a window. “Anyone who’s played would be super jealous! I know I would be, but those pretty glasses got me feeling too good to be mad~” She laughed off her assumed frustrations. The jackalope looked towards the key. Her red eyes were filled with interest as she stared at the reflective metal, unsure if she was ready to take on such a task for a useless little trinket like a crown. “Hey, Typhe? I got an idea.” Carnation spoke, her voice growing sly as each syllable rolled off her tongue. Her lip curled into a mischievous grin, eyes focusing on the golden retriever. “How about you go do it for me? Take the key, twist it, and fight that boss for me.” The jackalope stated. “H-huh? You mean it? I’ll do it!” The ever-excitable doggy practically bounced in the grasp of her mistress, beaming like the sun. “Give me the key! Give me a weapon! I’ll fight any dragon for you!” Forcing herself to stifle a laugh, Carnation forced the silvery key into the hands of her subordinate. “Go on, then, my noble little idiot~” The jackalope appealed to the lewd and lustful nature of her minion. Her now freed hand reached down to grope the warm crotch between the thighs, feeling the moist lips through soaked panties. “Go and fight. I’ll be here right when you get back, okay?” Carnation spoke with the loving tone of a mother as she sent her helpless little mind fried dog to die! “Yuhhuh! I’ll be back as soon as I can!” Typhe forced herself into the arms of the tall lapine. Her golden furred lips pressed against the pale lips of her owner, the mistress meddling with her mind being nothing but a goddess to her silly pup. “I’ll see you in less than an hour, mistress Carnation!” The golden retriever spoke with pure lust and confidence, like she alone held the power to slay the boss. With the radically misplaced confidence in her words, the canine took the key and slashed it in the air. As it caught on seemingly nothing, Typhe’s golden paws twisted and turned the silver shaft. The key began to shimmer and shine like a star! The radiant light swooped down the shaft of the key, enveloping the furred hands of its wielder, swiftly moving up towards her arms and torso. In less than a second, the entire form of the canine slipped away and disappeared with nothing but a shimmering, glitter like outline of gold and silver in her place. Watching her forced ally disappear into nothing but shimmering mist, Carnation let out a long sigh. Now sitting in the silence of the cafeteria, the jackalope was unsure what to do. She was free to do whatever, but the lack of a goal settled in her mind more and more as she sat down at one of the numerous empty tables. Something about this game seemed off, something that bit at the edges of her mind. The end goal was… never stated. There was no plot or story to follow, just mindless killing and horny fun times within this rough and tumble world where allies turned on each other as quickly as a coin spun. While it didn’t upset the jackalope to the point of not returning ever again, it left a sour feeling in her heart. The silence without Typhe was quickly filled by the whizzing of a blade! Before Carnation could even react, a blood stained knife shot through the air. The silvery blade twirled and lodged itself in the back of the jackalope’s head, slicing down the spinal cord of her neck ever so slightly as she died on the spot. A gecko, covered in blood, let out a sigh. She stood partially obscured by another table within the cafeteria, a long trail of blood marking her path from the hallway outside to her current perch. One hand held her bullet wounded body as she struggled to breathe. Collapsing on the table, a smile was on the killer’s face. A fleeting thought before her temporary death came. That thought was simply the bonus she would get for killing a player before she won the game, or racked up more costly kills. … Waking up with a headache, the red eyes of the jackalope were shut tight. The world around her was spinning as she came to. Slowly opening her eyes, the vampiric bunny found herself sitting in the lobby of what appeared to be a respawn center. Looking around and slowly pulling herself off of the firm couch, Carnation searched for the exit. As her heels pressed into the soft carpet underneath, the pale bunny stepped across the grey floor towards a dark wooden door. Grasping the brass knob, Carnation twisted it and pushed inside. The room around her was completely filled with people! There were familiar faces, from the snake and calico twins that she faced, among others. All of them seemed uninjured and generally relaxing in the calming, lounge-like respawn room. The moment the dazed and confused Carnation stepped into the room, a nurse grey fox approached, her white uniform being distinct from the lack of clothes that most of the patrons had. “Welcome! We hope you enjoy your stay.” The vixen spoke with an energetic voice. Digging into her pocket, the grey fox presented a lollipop to the jackalope. “Would you like any accessories to take home with you? We have angel wings and a halo as well as devil horns and a pointy tail.” She quickly offered to Carnation. Taking a moment to think, Carnation’s brow furrowed. Looking past the short stack fox, the red eyes scanned across the room, noticing the lack of a red tint. “Oh, uh… neither. Has a golden retriever girl pass through here yet?” The jackalope asked out of curiosity, wondering the fate of Typhe. “Hm? Oh, no, not recently.” The vixen replied. The lollipop was taken from her extended hand as she answered. “I’ve seen a few around, but Typhe, the only golden retriever on duty today, hasn’t appeared at all. Why? Did you want to get her contact info?” The grey furred fox smiled mischievously. Laughing softly, Carnation unwrapped the lollipop and stuck it in her mouth. “Maybe. I told her to do something stupid and, well… I thought she would get beat before I did.” Then, realization struck. Her eyes went unfocused for a moment, the red eyes gazing out towards nothing as she thought about what Typhe was doing. “Well… I sent her against the boss. Wonder if she’s having fun.” There was a hiss of pain coming from the fox before her. “Definitely not having fun, I can almost guarantee that much. She’s running a gauntlet at this point.” The nurse said, starting to turn tail to check on other patients. “I hope you gave her some equipment before sending her off. She’ll need anything she can get!” “Oh. Well… I guess I’ll see her before long.” The jackalope laughed nervously. Part of her felt bad for sending such an eager dog away, but now knowing the hell that Typhe would be going through just because of her command? It felt even worse. All she could do is wonder what that golden retriever was getting herself up to.
