The Prisoner’s Diaper-lima Chapter 3: Golden Silence By: Monica Vix Scarlett woke up with a start. The world around her familiar but not the same as before. Everything felt heavy and sluggish. A thick mist like humidity in the air that burned her nose like soured milk. Looking around dark walls, bricked like it was between buildings, the rabbit was frantic about her new environment. She was dressed in a red leather jacket and black jeans, not even noticing them as she moved through the molasses like aura that surrounded her and engulfed the entire alleyway. Turning a single corner thrust the white rabbit from the dark alley into an overwhelmingly bright and thudding nightclub, the general dark and unsettling feeling making her want to retreat. Upon turning back, Scarlett found no door or any passageway, being completely stuck within in the neon reds and golds that clad the entire area. As her back was turned, a thick and coppery smell filled the air; the familiar scent was like a ghost, a bad history coming to the surface once again. Struck in fear, brown eyes only gazed into the black brick. She was completely overwhelmed. It was complete and total paralysis to her mind and body. The hot and heavy scene of the bustling club was enough to overwhelm her, making it hard to even focus on any word other than a single idea: terror. The nightmare continued. That thick, copper rose in the air more and more. The world faded as the neon lights became part of the wall, painting the dark brick in red and gold streaks. Huffing, panting, and completely wordless, Scarlett closed her brown eyes and tried to focus on getting a way out. Punching the wall in front of her, she felt a wetness, shuddering at the moisture that now covered her white furred fist. Shivering, shuddering, finding the next breath hard, it all ended in an instant. The feeling persisted, only for a moment more as she was rocketed out of the nightmare. Scarlett woke up, her brown eyes shooting open like a person running away after hearing an alarm. Sitting up in a start, the rabbit’s diaper crinkled under her, spoiled with pee from the terror of her nightmare she just awoke from. A plush fox fell out of her lap and rolled across the foam floor of the playpen she was stuck in. Panting, irratic breathing of the rabbit slowed to a calmer, more regular pace. Looking around helplessly, like a lost little girl in a great big supermarket, Scarlett looked for Ms. Taylor for any assistance and confirmation that things were okay. Looking away towards the hallway, the long lapine ears could barely make out the sound of quick typing. She gazed longingly towards the other room, knowing that the sound was Ms. Taylor. Still sleepy and too stunned for words, Scarlett slowly crawled over to the side of the playpen, pushing her gloved hands against the net wall of it. Panting, feeling a little light headed, the white rabbit slowly tried to pull herself over the net! Pressing her bootie covered feet into the soft foam, wincing against the pain of the spikes in the soles, she slowly and steadily shoved herself over the wall of her confining playpen. The pain dulled quickly, not enough to cause any serious harm as the diapered rabbit dropped to her knees against the hardwood floor. The thunk of the bunny against the ground was enough to cause the typing to stop momentarily, the sound of an old office chair squeaking as Ms. Taylor got up with a faint mutter. A gentle whine came from the bunny as she started to crawl towards the door to the other room, not minding the slight sting of falling to the floor. She just couldn’t stay still for a moment, continuing to move without any sign of stopping. Attempting to focus on the environment around her didn’t help. The slightly dusty chairs of a dining room she was in not doing anything to ground her to the reality that only recently became her preferred world. The pale blue walls were nothing new to her. Even if the color itself was rather calming to look at, it didn’t help her even calm down a smidge. Then, a saving grace came in the form of Ms. Taylor! The grey mouse with her hair tied up walking out from the other room. There was a glare in her eyes, hidden behind glasses that caught the light from the ceiling fan. It slowly softened upon seeing the distress that the rabbit was in. Dropping down to her knees after getting close to Scarlett, Ms. Taylor stared at her with concern. The green dress she wore was inviting to the crawling rabbit, her outstretched arms ready and willing to accept the distressed and diapered girl in her arms. Scarlett almost instantly crawled into the lap, wrapping her arms around the ribs of her motherly figure, feeling pure comfort in her embrace as those grey arms ensnared her in return. The warmth was all she needed for a moment, making all the tension roll off her back and made it easier to breathe. Her shaky breath left small bits of saliva against the neck of Ms. Taylor. Spending just a moment longer in the embrace, the white rabbit shuddered at the gentle petting rolling down her back, making her sigh gently in the silent moment of pure bliss. “Scarlett? Sweetheart?” The mouse spoke gently, whispering into the long rabbit ears with a calm and slow voice. “Are you okay, dear? Do you want to talk about why you’re out of your playpen?” There was a slight chastising tone as she confronted the disobedient baby bunny. She dropped the hard question as she felt the rabbit weakly twitch and whimper against her neck. “Well… hmm… did you have a nightmare, dear?” Pausing for a moment, Scarlett slowly nodded. Keeping her face hidden in the grey fur of the mouse just to hide her distressed expression. She was completely embarrassed about acting like this over a relatively tame nightmare, but she just couldn’t help herself. All the little white rabbit wanted to do was to run off to the wonderland that was her mommy’s arms, snuggling into her warm grasp and simply be inseparable from her. Here, even though it was a hard choice to come, it was comfortable and felt safer than anywhere she’s been in almost a decade. Nodding herself, Ms. Taylor sighed while shifting the weight of the light rabbit in her arms, pulling the bunny into her embrace in order to slowly stand. “You can stay with mommy for a minute, my little marshmallow, until you feel better. But mommy’s working, so do you think you can stay quiet?” There was a hint of exhaustion in her voice. It gave a pang of guilt in the originally bratty Scarlett as she was escorted away to the little study with a sizable desk. There wasn’t a response as Scarlett slowly peeled herself away from the grey mouse, keeping her lips firmly shut as she looked around the new room. It was the least baby-ish thing that she’s seen in this house! Decorated with brown bookshelves with mostly dull colored books, the walls themselves a lovely forest green. The study was somewhat intimidating, causing the white rabbit to squeeze a little tighter onto her motherly figure. Her long legs trailed along Ms. Taylor’s, wrapping loosely around to not get in the way of her walking at all, almost acting like a second dress. “I’ll take that as a yes.” Ms. Taylor said gently. A tug pulled Scarlett up just an inch, allowing the mouse to kiss the top of the white rabbit’s head. She then sat down at the desk, the squishy and messy diaper of her little experiment and lovely bunny crinkling in her lap. It seemed like she didn’t care or even notice. “Now, Scarlett, if you need anything, just tug on my arm and I’ll get to you as soon as I can. Do you understand that, my sweet little marshmallow?” She used that pretty little pet name with such an affectionate tone. A simple nod came from the rabbit as she sat up in the mouse’s lap. With a pat to the messy diaper, Ms. Taylor began to work away at writing a long paper. From what little Scarlett cared to see and stare at, it looked like it was about her and her experiences here! While the rabbit had her nap, the mouse must’ve been busy on this document, given that it was spanning almost five pages with only a handful of breaks in all the text. It seemed that the mouse was more than happy with how things were going; the speed of “rehabilitation” as she put it far exceeding her initial predictions for Scarlett. There was a soft blush as the rabbit pouted, wiggling in the lap to hide her face once again in the neck of her mommy mouse. The quiet clacking of the keyboard and the warm body of Ms. Taylor slowly eased Scarlett out of her terrifying funk. Frozen in her lap, not wanting to move an inch, the rabbit felt the scientist at work moving and shifting under her to get comfortable. As the messy diapered butt slipped between the thighs of the mouse, supported more by the chair and the dress at this point, the lapine’s face was right near the plush breasts hidden by green cloth. Hesitating for a moment, the white rabbit shuddered and reached towards the sleeve of the long-sleeved dress Ms. Taylor wore, nudging it gently with a mittened hand at first before getting more aggressive, just to get the attention she needed. “Hm?” The mouse paused for a moment. She almost didn’t even realizing that Scarlett was trying to get her attention until she heard a soft whine escape the white rabbit’s lips. Then, looking down towards the lapine, her gentle teal eyes gazing right into the needy brown eyes of the baby bun, Ms. Taylor smiled. “Oh, right, Scarlett. Did you need something, sweetie? A change? A bottle of milk?” She offered quietly. Arms were gingerly wrapped around the black blouse that held onto the pale bunny’s body, squeezing the prisoner tightly. Huffing as her face was forced into the plush boobs of the mouse, Scarlett almost didn’t even realize the lewdness of the action as she pushed back gently. “I-I, uh… had a nightmare…” Admitting the weakness like this was an overwhelming sense of embarrassment, causing her pale fists clench within the bondage mittens, the tension that shot through her body while talking agitating her. “I just… saw an old place where I, well… killed people. Two places, actually, and it just… hurt in a… different way than usual.” The words slowly crawled out of her mouth like a secret that didn’t want to be shared, the quivering rabbit holding onto the green dress of her mousey mommy. “Oh.” Ms. Taylor could barely even respond from the shocking statement. Clearing her throat and gently rubbing the back of the rabbit, Ms. Taylor looked at her with a slightly uneasy smile. “Well… I guess mommy can play therapist for a minute, since it’s obvious you need to talk.” She said in a gentle, loving tone. An arm was released from Scarlett’s body, quickly opening up the file of her deeds and crimes over the years, eyes scanning over it. “I’m here for you, Scarlett, I promise. I just have some… hmm… adult things to do while we talk, okay?” Her teal eyes looked back down at the rabbit, exactly like a mother as she gave a gentle, sad smile. Looking back, unable to formulate her feeling of alleviation, her eyes starting to tear up as she stared and forced herself to hide a smile. “O-okay, okay, it’s fine.” Scarlett huffed. She hid her face away in the crook of the grey mouse’s neck. All she felt small and helpless despite having the opening to start talking to Ms. Taylor. “I just… want to stay here a bit longer… I don’t want to be shoved back into that shit hole of a prison.” The rabbit spoke with pure spite. Her cursing brought up a tiny thought in her mind about how she shouldn’t, but it was quickly disregarded. “I wasn’t happy there. Especially in that stupid box they locked me in when you came to me. I’m… ugh…” Scarlett stopped herself. She was unable to fully form a sentence she was so frustrated. “Scarlett, dear, don’t use the big girl words like that. I’m here for you and I love you, marshmallow, but you don’t need to use such gross words like that with me.” Ms. Taylor chastised. The mouse released the mouse of the computer to only draw Scarlett in closer, gently nuzzling her grey chin into the top of the bunny’s head. “You’re not in trouble, but try not to curse. Are you happy here, Scarlett? Even with all the restrictions I have with you in my care?” Hesitating, the rabbit grew stiff and firm in the arms of the mouse. A light whine of uncertainty ran through her body. Scarlett thought for a moment, squeezing her arms tighter around Ms. Taylor’s back, enough force to pop a spot of tension in the grey mouse! “It’s… better than anywhere else I’ve been in years…” Is all the little rabbit could say. She was quivering as she spoke. “I still don’t… think I like being babied all that much. I think I like your… company. Nothing else, really, just…” She sighed. Shivering in fear for a moment, a soft sob escaped her mouth. “Just don’t leave me… even if I need to be diapered forever, I don’t want to leave...” Scarlett could barely contain herself for a moment as she spoke, closing her big brown eyes and forcing herself not to cry in the loving embrace of the mouse. “Scarlett, honey…” Ms. Taylor’s voice was full of pure empathy and worry as she pulled the rabbit away just a little. She looking at that pouting face with a worried gaze. “I’m not going to leave you or ever send you back there, sweetheart. I don’t want you to leave me, either.” Her grey hand gently rubbed against the teary eyes, brushing away Scarlett’s tears. “It’s okay to cry. I’m here to comfort you. Do you want me to get a plushie for you to hug, sweetie? Something else to make sure you’re doing okay?” Shaking her head, the rabbit flexed her arms and pulled herself into the warm embrace of the mouse, having enough force to send the office chair rolling back a handful of inches. Scarlett whimpered and sobbed for a moment. Her tight grasp being more than a little uncomfortable to the grey mouse. The bunny hid her face in the crook of Ms. Taylor’s neck, tears starting to trickle out and then gradually rise to a full fit of crying. “I’m just… disappointed. I don’t know if what’s happened here is better or not. If that freedom is… the reason why I fucked up everything?” The rabbit refused to release the mouse for anything. The world could be ending outside of the cozy study and she wouldn’t even budge for any of the chaos and fear. Ms. Taylor was silent. She brought her hand to the back of the crying rabbit’s head, gently comforting and giving the sorrowful bunny affection. “You’re cursing again, marshmallow. I’ll be easy on you for now, but please try your best about not doing it.” The mouse kissed the head of the rabbit right between the large ears, hugging her tight. “I love you, Scarlett, I want to make sure you’re okay and happy with me.” “I-I…” Scarlett stammered. She struggled to get her thoughts out, only letting out a groan of pure frustration and pain. Sobbing with more force, the baby bunny could only cuddle in tighter. Her words fell into nothing but depressive babbling about how things even got to this point. She continued while cuddling the mouse, feeling the gentle hands rolling down her clothed back, whimpering and crying out into the neck and shoulder of the warm mouse. Tears began to roll down from the grey fur and into the green dress that Ms. Taylor wore, staining it with the sadness the rabbit experienced. The mouse patiently waited for the sobbing to calm down. She held her little rabbit nice and close, making sure that Scarlett knew she was supported and loved, at least physically. She didn’t know what the best thing to do was, just trying to do her best to make sure the bunny didn’t spiral out of control. “Scarlett, are you feeling better?” Ms. Taylor slowly whispered into one of the long ears of her rabbit. Her hand gently slid from the back of the pale bunny’s head to her cheek, softly cupping it. “Maybe… I can give you a little surprise early to cheer you up?” “A surprise?” The rabbit huffed out with a sarcastic sadness in her voice. One of her mittened hands was brought up to her face to wipe the tears away. “What is it? Some kind of time machine to fix problems I had?” Her frustration turned into a mild tantrum of sorts. Feigning a laugh for a moment before it melted into a labored sigh, clinging onto the mouse tightly. The way her strong arms flexed through the babyish clothing and around Ms. Taylor was her own form of silent apology. The bunny found it hard to even begin to apologize or even say a single word. Shaking her head and sighing herself, the mouse gently started to bounce Scarlett, attempting to get the bunny back into her little mindset. “No, sweetie, but it’s something I think you’ll like.” She said, slowly encouraging the rabbit to look towards the computer screen, quickly changing the screen to something else. Scarlett turned, the sour look of preparing for disappointment on her face for a moment until she saw something that she didn’t expect at all! It was enough to leave her jaw hanging open. It was a movie booking for a new movie recently coming out, the PG-13 rating being the most surprising part about the poster. “I don’t think they’ll notice you’re just a mini marshmallow, sweetheart. I was planning it to be a surprise present, because you’ve been so good for me so far.” She pats the back of the bunny before drawing Scarlett right back into her warm embrace, making her face the screen as a preview of a comedic yet jokingly violent movie played. “I-I, uh… is this… stuff you like? You?” The rabbit was distracted from her emotions. She felt overwhelmed with joy at the gesture, even if it was maybe a selfish thing from Ms. Taylor just to make her be more compliant in hopes of more rewards like this. “I’m… sorry… I’m not usually… like this. I’m just… overwhelmed. I just… want to hit something.” Scarlett admitted, feeling the soft grey arms wrap around her front, unable to hold Ms. Taylor’s hands as she held onto the little bunny. The mouse gingerly held the rabbit close, rubbing her stomach and giving her all the love and affection she could muster, compressing it all into little actions for the white bunny. “Shh, shh, it’s okay. You don’t have to apologize for your feelings, dear.” A loud ping came from the computer right as Scarlett was about to reply! A message appeared in the corner of the screen, mentioning something about a meeting. “Well… I’m sorry, dear, but I have a little meeting I need to attend. I’ll be right here on the phone for a bit, do you think you’ll be okay alone?” Scarlett was frozen in silence, looking towards the camera that was clearly turned off. The device was perched on the monitor, catching and stealing her attention now it was pointed out. Unable to speak, her arms gently squeezed around the grey hands that were in front of her, turning away from the screen to hide her face directly into the warm embrace of the mommy mouse. Scarlett shook her head, both expressing her dislike of being left alone at this point as well as showing her affection to Ms. Taylor. Looking down towards the bunny, all the mouse could do is smile. She was completely unable to refuse a request from someone so cute and clearly in need of more and more affection. Ms. Taylor moved Scarlett to sit with her back facing the camera, the long blouse hiding the pee filled diaper from view. “Okay, sweetie, I understand. Just stay close to mommy and stay quiet. If you wanna go sleepy time again, you can, I’ll try to keep quiet for you.” The mouse pulled up a pair of headphones at the nod of Scarlett. Mittened hands wrapped around the mouse’s back in a loose embrace of thankful pleasure. The meeting began. A handful of people of power within the pompous prison system starting discussion on this project Ms. Taylor was leading. Most of the emotions and feelings Scarlett simply tried to block out, hoping that her sleepy form wasn’t noticed by any familiar faces that could be on the screen. Not able to hear any of the words they spoke helped. The harsh voices they spoke in would be enough to send the now cared for and held rabbit lashing out in a depressive, violent streak. Scarlett managed to block out the motherly rodent’s words as well, pretending all that was happening was the soft snuggling and the rest of the world was nonexistent. Words turned to nothing but white noise as the baby bunny held on, pretending to simply not be there in front of a camera. That was until she was pointed out. Her name piercing over the mental wall that she built up. Ms. Taylor patted her head, starting to speak into the microphone. “Scarlett’s been overwhelmingly good, to the point where she’s cursing noticeably less already. I wouldn’t even have her in my lap at any point if I didn’t trust her, but she’s almost falling asleep here.” Her voice was so soft, so caring, so gentle. The tenderness and sheer affection she imbued into every syllable filled the rabbit with a flustered and thankful energy. All off these pleasant sensations drove away any bad thoughts for the time being, almost forcing the nightmare from before out of her life entirely just by being cradled and praised. “She might be a little disobedient…” Ms. Taylor briefly chastised. She leaned in to plant a kiss at the base of the rabbit’s long ears. “But even then, she’s never tried to hurt me, run away, or reach out for help. Well, reach out for help for anything that’s not a diaper change or a plush toy.” She joked. A brief laugh came through the speakers that were barely an inch from Scarlett’s head at this point. The figures on the other side seemingly to enjoy the anecdote about the rabbit. “Oh, Scarlett? You’re awake? Do you want to say hi?” The sudden shock of the question ran into the rabbit’s head. It made her tense up and squeeze tightly around the soft mouse, letting out a sharp whine. Feeling a gentle hand against her back, the rabbit sat up just a little straighter. Her head rose above Ms. Taylor’s as she was encouraged to just simply say hi. Taking a deep breath, the white rabbit tried to steel herself before turning to face the camera. Her deep brown eyes stared towards the screen to see a handful of staff that she recognized and others that she didn’t. Looking towards them, her gaze with a bitter edge in appearance, the lapine slowly raised one of her mittened hands to wave at the group. Blush came in her cheeks as she did her best to look hard and strong in front of the familiar faces, Her aggressive gaze faltered as Ms. Taylor firmly grasped her messy diaper beneath her. Hesitating for a moment, Scarlett was completely overwhelmed by the grasp of her diaper, a sensitive spot that she almost completely forgot about. It was a weak point to her, making the rabbit slowly slink back into the chair, slumping over and quickly hiding her face as the tough facade was completely shattered. A soft, sharp whine could be heard as she burrowed her face directly into Ms. Taylor’s neck, arms wrapping around her shoulders to hold onto the mouse as if she was drowning with her being the only thing to hold onto. “Well, that’s the most you’ll get out of her. She’s been shy today; my little girl didn’t have a good nap.” The mouse teased. Gently, she patted the back of the rabbit with a comforting rub. “I’m sorry to leave for a minute, but I need to give her a change and a feeding. I shouldn’t be more than ten minutes.” After waiting for confirmation, Ms. Taylor leaned in and pressed a few buttons to turn off the camera and hang up from the chat. A giggle escaped her lips as she held onto the rabbit in her lap. “I’m proud of you, Scarlett. You’ve been such a good girl.” The praise was taken with a soft whine of pleasure, Scarlett barely able to say or do anything as she was heaved up out of the seat. “Th-thank you…” The white rabbit whispered out quietly. A shiver ran down her spine as she felt herself peeing again, filling the diaper further as she was carried out of the study. Being brought over to a changing table, Scarlett was laid on her back. She kept her hands out of the way as Ms. Taylor stepped away. “Th-thank… you so… so much…” She could barely whisper her thankfulness. In this position on her back, she was stuck like a turtle! Not by her awkward diapered form, but by her flustered inability to move. “You said thank you twice, dear. Why are you saying it twice?” The mouse warmed up a bottle of milk mixed with the special formula she used for Scarlett, walking back towards the bunny with a smile on her face. “Let me guess. You liked seeing them smile at you? And you liked me holding and comforting you?” The mouse said with a knowing grin. She planted the nipple of the bottle directly into her little bunny’s mouth before patting her head. All Scarlett could even do was simply nod, adverting her blushing gaze as her mittened hands grasped the bottle. Gently suckling on it without question, the rabbit felt her warm diaper be peeled from her body. The plush white fur was cleaned with a wet wipe. It felt nice to be cleaned like this; the soft cloth covering her butt right after being like a gentle cloud of relief in comparison to the wet diaper; Scarlett much preferred to have her diapers dry. Upon getting changed, Scarlett was scooped up off of the table, her soft padded butt now in the loving embrace of Ms. Taylor as she whisked the rabbit away to the living room. “Now, Scarlett, I have to finish this meeting. It may be an hour or so, but I trust you to not make a mess. Can I trust you, sweet heart?” The mouse asked upon setting the rabbit down, sitting her upright on the couch. Walking over towards the playpen just across the living room, Scarlett now realizing just how close it was, the motherly mouse picked up the orange fox plushie in her hands. “Here you go, Scarlett, I think you like this one a lot. Are you going to name them?” Ms. Taylor asked. The orange fox was dropped face first into the rabbit’s lap. “I-I, uh…” Scarlett was unsure if she could trust herself alone. Or even decide the name of the fox. Her bottle was held in fist bound hands, squeezed in front of her chest, elbows resting on back of the plushie. “Y-yea… I’ll be good, mommy.” The rabbit whispered. The pink heat in her cheeks still as she clumsily squeezed the plush close to her. “I mean, uh… Tangerine and I… will be good?” She said with an unsure tone in her voice. Eyes gazed up, searching for approval from her motherly figure. The gentle smile and a soft laugh from the mouse was all the confirmation Scarlett received, all she needed. The pat to the head was greatly appreciated as well. “Good girl. I’ll leave the television on for you.” Ms. Taylor clicked the remote of the television, flipping through channels until she got to one with Sesame Street playing on it. “Just holler if it’s an emergency, sweetie. I love you, my darling marshmallow~” The mouse began to walk away towards the study once again. “L-love you, too…” Scarlett instinctively squeaked out. The lapine struggled and failed to hold back her affection for the mouse. It came spilling out of her mouth like alphabet soup as her brown eyes flicked from the grey mouse to the colorful screen and back again. “I don’t think… anything will happen.” Scarlett pulled her legs up to her chest as she spoke. The dull spikes of her booties dug into her soles for a moment, making her squirm in mild discomfort, trying to get comfortable without dropping Tangerine or her bottle. The mouse watched for a moment, dragging her phone out of a dress pocket to take a picture of the squirming and struggling rabbit being simply adorable on the couch. Then, she took a deep breath and sighed out, returning to her work in the next room over. The jokes and lessons from the show were barely audible to the mouse and completely entranced the bunny.
